Antifashist.com reports:

In Ukraine, the law “On protection of personal data” was massively violated. This was stated by the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Valeria Lutkovska. According to the Ombudsman, the most common kind of violation of the law is to place the personal data of citizens without their consent on the Internet.

As reported by UNN, Lutkovska noted that the Office of the Ombudsman does not have sufficient leverage to counter such violations.

However, Lutkovska appealed to the Security Service and the Interior Ministry with a request to punish those involved in the publication of personal data on the notorious site “Peacemaker”, and that the site be closed.

Also, the office of the Ombudsman asked law enforcement agencies to take measures to block access to this resource in the territory of Ukraine.

As is known, the “peacemakers” are spreading information containing personal data, including photos and addresses, and information about the relatives of people who not only take part in the fighting [in eastern Ukraine], but also those who criticize the government and say that the civil war in the Ukraine is the result of a coup d’etat.

On the eve of the demonstrative executions of prominent Ukrainian oppositionists — Oleg Kalashnikov of the Party of Regions and writer Oles Buzina — detailed information about them, including their residential address, also appeared on the website. Both opponents of the regime were shot directly at their homes.

The Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs and People’s Deputy of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, who is considered the creator of the “Peacemaker”, has repeatedly called for his supporters and adherents of Maidan to send to the site all the information known about those who do not consider the current government of Ukraine legitimate, criticize it and also dare to call for the stop of the war in the Donbass.

Recall that, after the scandal of the murders, deputy Gerashchenko said that the site would be closed, but a few days later said that he had regained his job and would continue to continue to fight the “enemies of Ukraine.” […]
