You won’t find this historically correct version of history in any mainstream US Publication, especially now. The move to take down the Confederate Flag is nothing more than a diversion from the real issue, which is the availability of guns to every man, woman, child and housepet in the US. We won’t see any articles about that.

Since Dylan Roof killed nine people in Charleston, there have been two more mass shootings. How much did the removal of the Confederate Flag from the SC Statehouse affect those two new shootings?

I was very outspoken on this subject on the Guardian, which typically posted a number of articles which not only called for the removal of the flag, but were historically incorrect and seriously flawed in their theses. I suspect that this was one of several reasons for my eventual removal, although the crowning blow was my criticism of Sean Walker.
