These videos were blocked on Facebook

by Vaska

The content below was originally uploaded on Facebook by Anna Blond on April 20. On April 23, Facebook blocked her for two weeks while she was posting this material to groups. (She was posting only these two videos and nothing else when she got blocked).
She posted on her wall: ”Facebook has just blocked me for 2 weeks: ‘You’re temporarily restricted from joining and posting to groups until 7 May at 10:02,” and my video which I was posting this morning was removed as it was uploaded to the group (Not to my page).”
Anna Blond: This video with English Subtitles (translated by Inessa Sinchougova) contains 2 excerpts.
The first one: Vladimir Putin as Prime Minister of Russia on January 18, 2012 at the meeting with Russian media chiefs was talking to Alexei Venediktov, an editor-in-chief and host at the Echo of Moscow radio station, president of the Echo TV Russia. These media outlets are pushing American interests in Russia.
Note: at that time, Vladimir Putin was Prime Minister and Dmitry Medvedev was President of Russia.

The second excerpt: Vladimir Putin as Prime Minister of Russia in October 15, 2011 at the meeting with the nation’s three main television channels at the Novo-Ogaryovo state residence (outside Moscow) talking to Vladimir Kulistikov, head of Russia’s national TV channel NTV (before, Kulistikov was working for CIA-funded ‘Radio Liberty’ involved in spying activities in the former Russia – USSR).

Vladimir Putin to Kulistikov: Dear Vladimir Mihailovich, you are the head of a major media outlet – NTV, a national television channel.  But there was a time, if I’m not mistaken, when you worked for Radio Svoboda (Radio Liberty).
Vladimir Kulistikov: Yes, there was such a time.
Vladimir Putin: Right.
Remark from the third person: It’s a black stain on his reputation.
Vladimir Putin: It’s not the matter of black or white. . . .
Vladimir Kulistikov: I did not say that. Somebody else did.
Vladimir Putin:  In any case, you used to work there. And when I worked for the KGB, we viewed Radio Liberty as a branch of the CIA. Of course, it was only a propaganda arm, but still. Anyway, such an attitude towards that station was not unfounded. It was funded by the CIA and, what’s more, it was even involved in spying activities in the former USSR. Today, the situation has changed, but still, no matter how you look at it, Radio Liberty is a media outlet that expresses the views of a foreign government. In this case, it is the US government. So, you used to work there, and now you are the head of a national television channel in Russia. How long have you been working there? For quite some time, right? Isn’t this is a sign of liberalism?

The person was blocked for posting spam, not for the content within the videos.
When you post the exact same thing/s to public groups repeatedly, the chances of people reporting you as posting spam goes up exponentially.
Interesting videos, and I’m not disputing the content. I’m only disputing the reason she was removed for a time.

If that is true, only someone employed by Facebook would have access to their internal reasons for blocking this person.

Good one, Off-Guardian. Facebook is at least as sneaky and duplicitous as The Guardian, so we should also be posting stuff that’s banned on Facebook. There are persistent rumors that Zuckerberg works with the CIA. I wish more people would migrate over to vKontakte, but since most of the content there is still in Russian, I guess we have a bootstrap problem.

It doesn’t matter whether he’s in the CIA the fact is that the NSA funded facebook’s start up and they didn’t do that for nothing.

Okay From Independent Facebook to Government (Russia) owned VKontakte. It seems you pretty much don’t know that Pavel Durov, Founder of VKontakte is in exile for saving privacy of Ukraninian users of VKontakte against the demands of Russian Government. It’s no different at all. Imagine Social Networking site owned by Government. So Stop bashing the West

Facebook must be upset over Putin saying that Radio Liberty was CIA funded.
True/Untrue – that’s not the point – it’s the way that facebook appears to be playing fast and loose with something called “freedom of speech” and the US constitution.

Everyone – you, me, Ted Turner – has Freedom of Speech. The difference is that Ted Turner has $2.2 billion, so he buys himself a tv station, while I am broke, so all I can do is post here.

You’re broke! Indeed! Then you don’t count. Only rich people count. And you have the temerity and chutzpah to come on here and air your views arguing for equality. Know your place helot!

That’s better than owning a 2.2 billion dollar tv station which is not worth watching 🙂

Are you just naive or utterly clueless? Either way you clearly don’t understand irony.
