There has been a major ISIS attack against the main Jordan-Syrian crossing point. US forces including tanks and armor were sent in to Syria to supposedly rescue a group of rebels (type unknown, probably ‘carefully vetted head-chopping rebels’) surrounded by ISIS. US forces rescuing US-proxy group A from US-proxy group B doesn’t add up. One possibility is that the surrounded ‘rebels’ were accompanied by US SF or intelligence assets. Another is that this is a pretext for sending more US troops in to fight ISIS (yeah right, 6 years late as usual).
