VIDEO: Saakashvili threatens to jump off roof in Kiev before being detained

The ever-grotesque situation in Ukraine took another nose dive into farce today as Mikhail Saakashvili, ex-president of Georgia and governor of Odessa, climbed to the roof of his eight storey apartment building in Kiev and threatened to jump – for no very obvious reason.

His rash action was apparently precipitated by the arrival of the Ukrainian Security Service (the SBU) to search his home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, in which Saakashvili is charged with attempting to “oust the Ukrainian authorities”.

According to some unsourced claims both Saakashvili and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko have accused each other of being Russian agents.
Presumably at least one of them is wrong.

Theater of the Absurd worthy of a Eugene Ionesco play.
Two grossly over-fed CIA stooges in a mock cat-fight amongst the ruination of a country. “You break it, you own it”. Indeed.

Get in bed with the Devil and there’s no telling what might happen. The stronger can tame their impulses or have ‘pizza’ party’s to work on some hoodoo voodoo.
Or some might turn to drugs and alcohol to calm that nagging suspicion.
And some just flip out.

Insane in Ukraine???
“According to some unsourced claims both Saakashvili and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko have accused each other of being Russian agents.”
Brilliant, another CIA run election being blamed on the Russians.

Apart from them both being “sorostitutes”: not sure this is Western driven? Saakashvili is trying to foment a new Maidan out of neo-Nazi discontent – but what do the West care? They’ve already got their man in Kiev?

The guy is clearly streesed. He needs a holiday. Maybe a long trip to Tieland would calm his nerves.

“Saakashvili and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko have accused each other of being Russian agents.”
Whereas , in fact, they are both agents of the USA, with Saakashvili almost certainly an employee of the CIA. The curious thing is that “attempting to “oust the Ukrainian authorities” is held to be a crime of which either of these criminals should claim to be innocent.

Surely you meant neither and not either… 🙂

No I meant either. Both have founded careers on ousting authorities’ Saakasvili seems to have set himself up as a peripatetic authority ouster, first in Georgia then in Ukraine. Where next?

It is just that Poroshenko did participate in illegally ousting Yanukovich, and Saakashvili is attempting to oust Poroshenko. I guess you got me a bit confused. 🙂
