Revolutionary Algorithms

Eddison Flame

Can you feel it now? Can you feel the changes coming? Can you feel the electricity in the air? Revolution is coming. It is getting really close now, you can almost reach out and touch it. Actually, if you live in France, you can reach out and touch it.

The Gilets Jaunes is the beginning of something that is about to spread to every nation on the planet. Maybe not the name, that’s not for sure, but in principle, the Gilets Jaunes is the beginning. The Gilets Jaunes is the beginning because everyone knows that a revolution has to happen. Everyone knows there has to be a revolution, and, well, now the Gilets Jaunes have started it.

Everyone is aware of the situation we are facing right now. Everyone is aware of just how dangerous things have become for us. We all know in our hearts what is going on. We know what the people ruling the world are doing. We know they are destroying the environment all over the world. We know they are waging unjust and illegitimate wars all over the world. We know they are enslaving the poorest people in the poorest countries of the world. We know they are squeezing the last drops from the middle classes all over the world, pushing more and more people into poverty. We know they are using the media apparatus all over the world to control us – to keep us in the dark about these truths. We know what they are doing.

We have tried to use the political process to fix these things. We have tried putting our faith in politicians to fix these things, but the politicians haven’t helped us. The politicians lied to us. They promised to fix things, but they didn’t. The politicians have been bought off, and they serve the interests of the very rich – the real rulers of the world.

We know all these things, and we know that there will have to be a revolution to fix it. We know there is going to be a revolution, and we also know that it isn’t going to be fun. This isn’t going to be fun for anyone. In fact, its going to be very hard, but we have to face it. The problems we are facing will only get worse the longer we put this off. The censorship will only increase. The propaganda will only increase. The wars will get worse. They environment will get worse. The poverty will get worse. Things will keep getting worse until we face this thing.

This is the truth, so now we have to face it, and the first step is to get prepared. That is what this article is about. It’s about getting prepared. It’s about preparing ourselves mentally for what to expect as the revolution gets underway, and it’s about what we can do to get prepared. Its about the expectations and the algorithms of a revolution.

I talk about algorithms because I’m a computer scientist and I think about algorithms a lot. An algorithm is just a set of instructions for how to do something. An algorithm is like a recipe in cooking, but it is for anything at all. There’s an algorithm for how to brush your teeth, there’s an algorithm for how to make a friend, and there’s an algorithm for how to handle any problem anyone might face during a revolution.

During the coming revolution people will face many problems. For the remainder of this article I hope to identify some of the problems people might encounter, and to offer algorithms that address these problems.

Please, consider this a bare minimum. A first draft attempt to help people to prepare. I encourage anyone and everyone to start identifying other potential problems, developing solutions, and sharing these ideas with everyone else. After all, this revolution will be a massively collaborative effort. Everyone will have to work together in any and every way possible in order to succeed.

Unite and Overcome

Collaboration and communication is the first and primary key to success. Our ability to communicate with each other effectively will eventually come under attack, (really it already has).

Notice that it is our ability to communicate with each other that has made this revolution possible at all. The fact that nearly every single person in the world has a cell phone with a camera has made it possible for people anywhere in the world to communicate with each other in real time. People can share events as they occur including any video or photographic evidence. This has played an important role in waking people up to what is really going on in the world. This phenomenon has facilitated peoples ability to see through the official narratives given by the main stream media.

But access to information is now being made more difficult. The censorship taking place so far has been fairly soft, but it will get worse. The elites have noticed the trend taking place. They are aware that people are buying into the main stream media lies less and less. Now they are trying to shift peoples attention away from what other citizens are saying and back onto ‘official’ narratives.

Eventually people can expect censorship to get quite bad. People will be forced to switch their habits of communication. We can combat this ahead of time by finding and using alternative means of communication, and by forming networks before hand – by being well connected.

You see, their strategy is to divide and conquer. Our strategy must be the opposite of this, ours is to unite and overcome. So what we need to do is get connected. We need to get organized with each other, and we need to do this quickly. We need to share email addresses with each other. We need to share telephone contact information. We need to become a ‘reliable network’ so that, for example, if we are cut off from email, we can still connect via text message. Ideally we would become so well organized that if any one of us goes missing, fails to check in, whatever, then someone else will notice.

I call this very incomplete algorithm Unite and Overcome. Please, comment, discuss, improve. Find ways to quickly get organized and connected. Discuss and agree on alternative means of communication. Build up a resilient unassailable network.

The Great Caravan

The next important thing to recognize is that protests can only be so effective. Certainly the government does not love protests, but as long as everyone is still going to work Monday through Friday and paying their taxes then the government will have little incentive to make changes. What really needs to happen is a major broad based divestment from the system. There needs to be a massive exodus from the work force – a global exodus so great that the the globalists actually feel it. To orchestrate such a massive change I want to suggest something I call The Great Caravan.

There are a few problems that need to be addressed in order to make a divestment action like this happen. The highest among them is that, while striking, people will need their basic needs met. People will need food, water, and housing, and people will have many other needs as well. If everyone is located separately and remotely, meeting these needs would become a major logistical challenge. In order to solve this problem we need a radical solution.

One solution, my favorite solution, is to join together to become a kind of travelling family. To form a great caravan. In other words we all get together and go camping.

People get organized as best as they are able, everyone packs up everything useful thing they have, and they head out to a campground. Once there people get to work organizing. People figure out who needs things and who can help. Everyone is dedicated to each other. Medical professionals help with medical needs. Mechanics help with mechanical needs. Teachers set up school curriculum and mobile schools. Some people cook. Some people help take care of the kids. Everyone works together to sustain each other. If it gets cold, the caravan moves south. If there is trouble with authorities, the caravan moves.

The point is, everyone joins together in a great caravan, and the caravan becomes a family, and the family stays together until the revolution is over. And with this simple non-violent act, we are able to divest from the whole social structure which has been working against us for so long. With this simple non-violent act we become stronger than anything the powers that be can break. Alone, we are weak. But if we unite, we can overcome.

These are just a few ideas. Unfortunately I have very little time to write. So much more needs to be discussed, and we may not have much time left. My hope in writing this is to inspire others to begin considering these things and to start discussing them with each other. For this to work it will take all of us working together. Everyone needs to be a leader. We all need to carry each other.

God bless you all,
Eddison Flame

Well, I believe we’re heading into a global economic meltdown which will increase the hardships of the working people all over the planet.

I also believe there is a great likelihood of a major conflict developing between the US and other rival powers.

These catalyzing events, in my opinion, will only cause the conditions which gave rise to the Gilles Jaunes to spread to more places in the world. So maybe the GJ calms down for a time, who knows how quickly it happens, but we are on a global trajectory that this type of movement will eventually spread to the whole world.

But i will admit I am unsatisfied with this article. I did not develop my ideas thoroughly enough, nor did I defend my ideas as carefully as I should have.

Here it is, popping up in Tunisia now. RT is wondering, is it Arab Spring 2.0?

https://web.archive.org/web/20181227105330/https://www.rt.com/news/447500-tunisia-journalist-suicide-protest/

Like I said, who knows how fast all this moves, but it will spread.

This article is generally what we are feeling, however the notion of a caravan is a little too ‘romantic’ and unworkable, for as Slava posted.
” What can work though if we all stop shopping at large web sites (you know which I mean) that don’t pay taxes but do pay politicians/tax authorities to look the other way, large supermarkets, any corporate sites/shops.

SPEND AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, REDUCE DEBT if you have any. And buy from small independent shops/farms/companies that would pay fair wages to stuff, pay fair taxes, pay fair price to suppliers who would ideally be small firms again…..

Create a circle/network of alternative economy. Starve big predatory business and their politician friends of cash and like vampires without blood they will die off. ”
This IS the answer.

And above all create a network of like minded people, committed to getting the truth our to those who are blinded by the TV in the corner and the MSM presstitute’s propaganda and lies.

Personally I dedicate my time to researching, and posting information on every popular visitor site I can, except Facebook and twitter of course, which I’m sorry to say is generally inhabited by air heads IMHO, who are so invested in the artificial world created by the Vampire Capitalists that they cannot be reasoned with.

Collective Consciousness is a mighty power to be reckoned with.
”Various forms of what might be termed “collective consciousness” in modern societies have been identified by other sociologists, such as Mary Kelsey, going from’ solidarity attitudes’ and memes to extreme behaviours like [MSM propaganda induced] group-think, herd behaviour, or collectively shared experiences during collective rituals [watching MSM, Religion] and dance parties.
Mary Kelsey, sociology lecturer in the University of California, Berkeley, used the term in the early 2000s to describe people within a social group, such as mothers, becoming aware of their shared traits and circumstances, and as a result acting as a community to achieve solidarity.
Rather than existing as separate individuals, people come together as dynamic groups to share resources and knowledge [on the internet chat rooms]. It has also developed as a way of describing how an entire community comes together to share similar values. This has also been termed “hive mind”, “group mind”, “mass mind”, and “social mind”.

Never before, has the opportunity to share truth and inform people, been so readily available as here on Off Guardian. And it is our duty to use what we learn here and share it far and wide.
I would be really interested to know just where all the contributors come from. To see how wide our net is? For instance I am British.

Revolution is a serious business, and talk of it should match that. Don’t waste time with ‘caravans’ and other utopias. Such pre-Marxian outlooks fail to understand the nature of classes, of capitalism and its state, are why utopian schemes have failed. These outlooks and schemes were comprehensively dismantled by Marx and Engels.

Look to where capitalism has been successfully overthrown. And look at why these revolutions were limited and have failed to vanquish capitalism from the earth.

Presently the ‘gillet juarnes’ movement is leaderless, has no class perspective, nor a strategy for struggle other than street protests. If it has no leadership that at least knows to use the social power of the working class to shut down production, not just streets, the ‘gillet juarnes’ movement eventually will die like the ‘Occupy’ movement. Spontaneous, leaderless uprisings either fizzle out or get drowned in blood. Unfortunately, modern networking technologies are no substitute for leadership and program.

Here’s an ‘algorithm’ to consider, from those who knew something about revolution, and from the only people to have successfully overthrown capitalism through workers’ revolution. There’s no use in reinventing the wheel. Time is short.

For starters, please carefully read and heed the following:

F Engels:
Socialism: Utopian and Scientific

VI Lenin:
What Is To Be Done
The State and Revolution

LD Trotsky:
Lessons of October
Results and Prospects
The Revolution Betrayed

These can be accessed online, at: https://www.marxists.org/

And when you’ve done critiquing them, then produce an ‘algorithm’, really a program, that surpasses and supersedes these. Bet you can’t.

The movement of the Gilets Jaunes, outside the control of the usual petite bourgeois betrayers, can not be overestimated. Macrons erratic response, from brutality to concessions, gives a measure of the terror the Gilets Jaunes have stuck in the heart of French state.
Though in it’s embryonic stage it is the working class moving as a class and developing it’s own forms of organisation. See “Popular Assembly of Commercey”.

It’s hard to deny that this movement will spread in one form or another internationally because clearly the underlying issues of neoliberalism’s disastrous consequences for the 99.99% aren’t confined to France. However, this isn’t a replay of the French bourgeois revolution. However, various regular assemblies and the working class ‘developing its own forms of organisation’ are meaningless without a program that squarely confronts the following issues:

1. No ruling class in history has ever surrendered its property, power and privileges peacefully. The behaviour of the cops should tell anyone that, which is only a small taste of what they’re capable of (read ‘State and Revolution’, and delineate why things are so fundamentally different today that negate this).

2. Unlike the bourgeoisie of the French and other bourgeois revolutions, the working class, no matter how well it develops ‘its own organisations’, cannot from within generate consciousness of its unique social power to make a revolution and of its truly historic role. This consciousness comes from the outside, in the form of a combat party of the Bolshevik type with a program based on a knowledge of history and how to make a revolution that the working class simply cannot attain on its own (read ‘What Is To Be Done’, and delineate why things are so fundamentally different today that negate this). The movement is not everything.

3. If sections of the ‘gilets jaunes’ split to the left, this may provide an opening for revolutionary politics to take a hold, but that’s only the first step. If the existing leadership of already organised workers, ie of the trade unions, isn’t replaced by one committed to overthrowing capitalism, then all bets are off. Specifically, if a left-moving layer of the ‘gilets jaunes’ isn’t recruited to a Bolshevik program and fails to take it into the existing workers movement to transform workers’ existing consciousness, from addressing everyday needs (viz, ‘we’re more worried about the end of the month than the end of the world’) to realising it’s historic role in making a revolution, then all bets are off (read Trotsky’s Transitional Program and the Struggle for Socialism, and delineate why things are fundamentally different today).

Great article. Agree with it 100% except for the conclusions 😉

Yes revolution/change is possible right now if enough people make conscious efforts to make it happen.

Yes protest or voting alone won’t get the results as protests will be suppressed (how many “preventive” arrests were made before they had plans for a massive unrest in Paris? Thousands?) and votes will be ignored and betrayed (Obama’s “change”). Even if a good-willed politician like Corbin will get voted in his own party and authorities will sabotage him enough not to make any real difference.

Yes it is important to stay in touch and hopefully it won’t get to the point of total web sites blockages and full 1984-style censorship.

But sorry we can’t all get up and go live in the woods – right now. We have jobs and kids and families to feed. And most people don’t have substantial savings but the do have substantial mortgages/rent fees, courtesy of ruling elites.

What can work though if we all stop shopping at large web sites (you know which I mean) that don’t pay taxes but do pay politicians/tax authorities to look the other way, large supermarkets, any corporate sites/shops. Spend as little as possible, reduce debt if you have any. And buy from small independent shops/farms/companies that would pay fair wages to stuff, pay fair taxes, pay fair price to suppliers who would ideally be small firms again.

Create a circle/network of alternative economy. Starve big predatory business and their politician friends of cash and like vampires without blood they will die off.

Now it we just say and agree to this nothing will happen. I for one would be very willing to go out and create such system – open independent food shops, help small companies sell outside of large sites that fleece them of every penny of profit, do anything to make it happen.

This is the first time I spell this out so it might be a bit raw, please bear with me. But if you see the point and think that might work please comment/get in touch and we can do it together.

Thanks all.

Upon retiring I left UK because I couldn’t stand the narrow-minded unintelligent racism.

2 years ago I returned to London for a period of 3 months and lived in a poor multicultural neighborhood of South London. I found the experience refreshing, inspiring, and above all thought-provoking calm and welcoming.

There were only two incidents which one might describe as mildly offensive and without Rhyme or Reason and both were from drunk white British males.

To anyone with a brain, which Canadian studies some years ago show is unlikely in racists, encouraging racism is a classic divide-and-rule strategy which only benefits the ruling Elite.

As many others have pointed out if USA UK France Etc were not bombing these countries on behalf of the state of Israel, the refugee crisis wouldn’t exist.

To anyone with a brain, taking a violent, intolerant, bigoted, supremacist, and deliberately divisive ideology that masquerades as a religion, and treating it as if it was a race, so that you can have the pleasure of shoving its bigotry down other people throats and denouncing them as racists, while telling yourself that you occupy the moral high ground, is about as stupid as you can get.

I don’t know if any “Canadian studies” have been done on the subject though.

One of my sons is gay. I derive some small degree of personal satisfaction from the fact that he was comfortable enough in his sexuality to come out to his mum and me on his 16th birthday, an age when many other young gay men are torturing themselves trying to convince the world, their friends, their families, and above all themselves that they’re straight.

Meanwhile, other people are teaching their kids that my son should be thrown off a high building.

I don’t know what kind of a fucking moron you have to be to persuade yourself that I’m the problem and they’re the solution.

True revolution is a power grab. Can’t be done in a non-violent way. All you get out of non-violent protest is some concessions from the system, not meaningful change to the system.

Often, we see an entire suburb relying on just one supermarket for the community’s food needs. It makes a lot of sense to use any patch of soil around the house to plant veggies and herbs. Let also the kids enjoy such activities. Not only more nutritious (and more exercise) but it could be hugely beneficial in case something wrong happen to the supermarket’s supply.

False framing is the ‘mind’ that deceives itself.
It is always ‘identity’ against.
Always an oppositional, limit, division and denial of the Will.
Always a sense of hate and attack justified.

True witness leaves the false bait hanging – untaken.
The emotional manipulation – unreacted to.
Abiding in life, of life and for life,
not a mind in ‘knowing’ but open to discovery
of a true behind or beneath the false.

In faith and conviction that the true
is the ground of integrity
without which is all made lies.

Lies that cost the truth
that sacrifice the living
to false gods, false idea
false identity
in negatively set
split mind.

Be wholeness in
whatever moment
is awake from
divided and framed
conflict.

Saying No to a lie is not to engage on its own terms.
But is saying yes to the movement of being that knows itself alive
and extends this recognition to others
because they are alive
and not because
‘only our identity truly deserves to make the rule’.

If the withdrawal of support for the lie
is made a war on lies
your revolving door is wide open to subversion of the very ‘mind’
that you personify as ‘Them’.
The blind and hateful – and false.

It’s not enough to oppose the symptoms
of roots that are knitted in your own
‘use of mind’.

‘The censorship will only increase.’

Not sure if that is such a bad thing. When everything that is of use, is censored, nothing valuable to read is left reported. That will effectively be the end of the media. When that happens other forms of communication have to take over, like reading books, talking to people, form your own judgment. This is already happening and IMO the reason why the yellow vests exist and why (in my country, the Netherlands) strikes have never been so intense since 1989.

Twain said: you can fool some people all of the time, and some people most of the time, but not all people all of the time.

Please note that making people scared, by implying that we are led by psychopaths or by todlers who play with handgrenades, is a propaganda technique to keep people in their place.

When I think of our rulers, I think of the wizard of Oz, with a scared person standing behind a curtain, making it look like that a monster is coming to get us, and where the curtain is nothing but the media.

That is true. Despair has always been a good weapon for the ruling interests. The more scared and depressed the masses are, the less likely they are to do anything. A passive resentment is ideal for ensuring an unhappy but compliant population. And to achieve this the ruling interests are always anxious to create an image of themselves that is always much more formidable than the reality. In truth they are scared shitless.

I don’t think this is a Wizard of Oz scenario. These people control armies of Robocops and have access to directed energy weapons that can obliterate thousands in a few seconds. They haven’t used them on people in that way yet but I don’t believe they would have have any compunction about doing so if they thought it necessary. There have been regimes which kept millions suppressed and in fear for decades.

There may be a small window of opportunity now for effective resistance. I have always supported the ‘weapon’ of a general strike, though I’m not sure what percentage of the working population would actually support one. Targeting key industries would be more effective.

Actually, if everyone simply stopped shopping for anything but the absolute necessities the system would collapse in a relatively short time. It might only take a few weeks, perhaps less if combined with mass walkouts. But any effective opposition requires that a large enough percentage of people understand what is happening and are angry enough to take action. We’re not there yet, certainly not in the U.K.

Paul, can you give some technical details of these directed energy weapons; how they work; on what basic physical principles they operate; where does the energy come from? You know, stuff like that. You might want to confer with Judy Woods for her expertise on the subject, before answering.

And btw, what popular grass-roots, widely-established people’s organisations are going to get this general strike organised and going, and then kept solid?

1968 was the great awakening.. although there were still many who kept their heads down chewing the cud.
Then the internet arrived, and despite persistent propaganda labelling people like me traitors and terrorists… their cover is blown!

There really isn’t any reason for people to be ig norant these days, unless they are mentally impaired is some way?

This aside, I would ask all who post here to think about this… In our everyday lives, are we happy and fulfilled?
I disagree with Paul Carline says below… The Hydra uses smoke and mirrors, they are ‘the Wizard of Oz’ and the only way to defeat it is to starve it. Stop buying anything but the essential things you need. Boycott anything from the USA and Israhell. Turn off the TV (baby sitter) in the corner and stop reading the corrupted .MSM presstitute’s rags.
Seek out only those proven to be truth tellers,
And have a very Happy Relaxing Christmas with your families, and a more Peaceful New Year.
