by doublethink that represents
mind reversed as making sense
wielding terror and pretence
manufactured experience
of war and sickness management
indentured, exhausted, overspent
to sell our soul for some fragment
of grasping dreams to represent
a substituted replacement
for loss of true fulfilment
to faithless self impoverishment.

Happy release of the old mind!
May the new reveal itself in its own terms.
