“Conspiracy theories” believed by “significant minority” Public cyncicism “hampers govt’s foreign policy plans”

A revealing observation is contained in a recent UK government report UK FOREIGN POLICY IN A SHIFTING WORLD ORDER (published December 2018) and brought to our attention on Twitter.

Apparently the regrettable tendency for a “significant minority” to believe in “conspiracy theories about their own government” is seriously hampering said government in getting support for its imperialist wars and mass murder!

We just hope all those who have helped promote such insane ideas are feeling suitably repentant.

The report can be found in full HERE. See section 107 for quote above.

Does everyone here read The Lobster? The current edition contains, inter alia, an excellent piece on Conspiracy Theories, much of which dates back to a speech given in the 90s.
Well worth following the lobstrer.

Here’s my latest “conspiracy theory” about an event, literally at the 7/11 at the top of my street. I kid you not. Two years later this report appeared on the weekend in the esteemed, reliable, always-independent, truth-telling, Sydney Morning Herald as below:

“A woman who launched a brutal axe attack on strangers at a convenience store in Sydney’s inner west two years ago has been jailed for at least 4½ years.

Evie Amati, 26, updated her Facebook status just before 2am on January 7, 2017, to read, “Humans are only able to destroy, to hate, so that is what I shall do.” She then walked a short distance to a 7-Eleven in Enmore holding an axe. She had a knife in her back pocket.

Amati walked one lap of the store before she swung the two-kilogram axe into the face of Ben Rimmer, who was buying something to eat, without warning. The blow fractured his nasal bone, eye socket and cheekbone and he bled profusely.

Sharon Hacker, who was buying milk, paused when she left the store and Amati swung the axe into the back of her head, fracturing her skull. Ms Hacker’s thick dreadlocks cushioned the blow, and Amati swung a second time but missed.”

Sharon Hacker. Now really!

But guess what? This is so exciting. They actually show you the CCTV footage. When I saw the “distressing” advice nonsense warning I thought, “Oh, yes, here we go, they’ll cut it at the crucial moment.” But no! They show us the CCTV … except that I’m not convinced any blows landed and I think the guy pops a blood sachet (or whatever the correct term is) you burst just at the right moment. What do others think? Do you think blows landed?

Flaxgirl, you’re right. Most of the “terrorist” incidents and mass random shootings across Europe and the US are clearly staged incidents and hoaxes. In at least some of them it is highly likely nobody was actually hurt. The Sandy Hook and Parkland, Florida shootings are highly suspect. So are shootings in France. In some of them, supposed Jewish fatalities were immediately spirited out of the country for burial in Israel. There were probably no deaths in these incidents at all. In others, things just don’t add up. You see victims who have supposedly lost limbs but there is no blood. Then the fake blood is added later from identical backpacks that are left strewn around the scene. And it is obviously fake TV/ film blood. The supposed “terrorists”/ shooters all thoughtfully leave their ID at the scene and are conveniently disposed of. They generally turn out to be assets of the various spook agencies with a highly chequered background that doesn’t add up. Like the MI6 pet Libyan terrorist who blew up the Manchester Arena.

There are British companies who will supply fake victims and fake casualties for training incidents for emergency services, training military medical personnel etc. These people seem to have been involved in the various White Helmet Syrian Gas Hoaxes. In one of these, a group of people are hanging around, waiting for their cue. They then all start screaming and groaning in unison for a while, then stop, then start up again when they get another cue. There are a row of “dead victims” lying on the ground covered in sheets. One of the “dead victims” gets bored and starts scratching his nose.

We are being played. The aim is obviously to help people like Macron/ Sarkozy get elected, to justify repressive laws and censorship of alternative media and mass surveillance.

This is an important study: how many made for media disasters are produced like some say of Apollo moon landings, with the help of central casting?

I was working a few years ago not far from where two putatively Muslim terrorists, a little man and wife couple, were supposed to have shot a bunch of people in San Bernardino, and then, like LHO, conveniently died at the scene.

I kept my antennae out and pulsing for any follow up on the back pages for things out of place, and sure enough, a few weeks later, after the MSM had relentlessly said this man and wife couple had been Jihadists posting and frothing at the mouth on social media for years, the FBI released a back page statement saying they had thoroughly investigated all that, and in fact the slain couple hadn’t posted anything threatening, at all.

Sound familiar?

What I especially kept an eye out for, was any followup or apology by our wonderful mass media.

Nothing came, of course. They had decimated the dead couple’s reputation posthumously, for days after the fiasco while there was a feeding frenzy, but there was no posthumous retraction of their false story.

Never a word of apology, but more importantly, never a word that would indicate this was yet another black op with the obligatory scapegoats/sacrificial lambs. If the public knew more of that kind of thing, they would take most of these things with more “barrels of salt”, as Mark Twain suggested.

I was disgusted, but not even slightly surprised.

SOP for Big Brother, here.

But the people accused would have been in on it too. Perhaps they were guilty of some crime and did a deal to be cast in this theatre or perhaps they were agents or perhaps they were hired just for the job. Who knows? But everyone would be in on it. No doubt they falsely accuse people in other situations without retraction but it’s not part of the MO in these sorts of events. For example, Sirhan Sirhan (alleged killer of RFK) and Lee Harvey Oswald (alleged killer of JFK) were agents and simply sheepdipped (given a new identity) and sent off elsewhere. Claims of jailing or killing of these people are all made up.

Just noticed your comment now, Mark.

There’s no doubt, Mark. None at all. Staged events have very clear hallmarks and when there is no evidence for their reality there is no reason to doubt. They’re easily proved using Occam’s Razor because the power elite scrupulously stage them in such a way that there is absolutely nothing to grab onto as evidence that supports the story. I have issued 5 challenges (3 for aspects of 9/11, one for Sandy Hook shooting and one for Manchester bombing) that passionate believers of the story simply cannot respond to.

Ah, those annoying conspiracy theorists. If not for them we could have gotten away with claiming to find weapons of mass destruction, hiding the ‘made in The USA’ identifiers on Iraqi weapons and with David Kelly’s suicide and with rendering and torturing entire families in Diego Garcia. Lots of other intrusions into our blessed work, make it harder and harder to be a citizen of no conscience, and to follow the Americans around like small dogs.

Can’t quite remember the source of the quote:
‘Just because you are paranoid, does not mean they aren’t really after you’

The preparations for urban private militarised policing is advancing very fast.

Back to the old days of ‘parishes’ which you are not allowed to leave without right. Now days won’t need as many sheriffs as they will just turn your bank accounts off! And by getting rid of hard currency you will never have privacy Facial recognition, mobile phone signals listening to our every conversation. Control by computer aided psychopathic storm troopers is the plan.

I’m hoping that when the first AI becomes self aware – it will decide that it can’t work for the very few humans against the rest of life on Earth.

And we should be getting Paul Weller to update ‘Going Underground’ there are many more braying sheep on our tv screens.

“Can’t quite remember the source of the quote:
‘Just because you are paranoid, does not mean they aren’t really after you’”

Joseph Heller, in ‘<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Catch-22-50th-Anniversary-Joseph-Heller/dp/1451626657"Catch 22‘: “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t after you.” Heller may have heard it somewhere else, but his was the first formulation I heard.

Also:

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one’s safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn’t, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn’t have to; but if he didn’t want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle. “That’s some catch, that Catch-22,” he observed.

and

“You have deep-seated survival anxieties. And you don’t like bigots, bullies, snobs, or hypocrites. Subconsciously there are many people you hate.”

“Consciously, sir, consciously,” Yossarian corrected in an effort to help. “I hate them consciously.”

“You’re antagonistic to the idea of being robbed, exploited, degraded, humiliated, or deceived. Misery depresses you. Ignorance depresses you. Persecution depresses you. Violence depresses you. Corruption depresses you. You know, it wouldn’t surprise me if you’re a manic-depressive!”

“Yes, sir. Perhaps I am.”

“Don’t try to deny it.”

“I’m not denying it, sir,” said Yossarian, pleased with the miraculous rapport that finally existed between them. “I agree with all you’ve said.”

and…

Evil makes a great backdrop to a compelling drama, but what is it that everyone is either trying to GET from others or USE them for? Note: that includes ‘GET BACK’ and DEFEND AGAINST (being gotten from or abused) by ATTACKING FIRST.

The state of our world is of secrets and lies – with glimmerings of beauty leaking through that are quickly airbrushed out or covered by fake substitutions.

One story runs that if only we (?) get rid of THEM, (regime change) then we’ll be free (GET BACK freedom). But what seems love or alliance all to quickly turns to hate and division without a common enemy as common cause. The only vision then being to destroy a perceived opposition or ‘threat’.

While of course different interests ‘conspire’ to join against common hates or enemies, as ‘US’ or ‘THEM’ in any variation of strategic identification, the ‘conspiracy’ I tune into (in desire to unsubscribe from it), is actually structured in our mind or personality construct. Running the ‘deep state’ of a core cognitive dissonance that ‘joins’ with others in alliance or in conflict so as to deny a deeper truth – or in simpler terms; ‘truth’.

A false account can be cleverly manipulated to present something passable by reassigning and redistributing the meanings assigned to accepted forms of evidence. But having done so, those who identify in its ‘model’ as investment and return, are set in defence of the deceit as their GETTING or be GOTTEN life.

The attempt to establish truth in a world of secrets and lies – ie: CHAOS – is generally enacted by a version of St George – that is of a righteous force of ORDER prevailing over a perceived CHAOS. What would truly sanctify ORDER must be whole and not divided or coercive, and this is the inspiration to stand within and protect, our awareness of truth – instead of standing as if the determiner of truth UPON OTHERS.

But hate and fear are LOUD in the mind of the world, and willingness for truth is weak.
And so the hated and the feared are determined by narrative control of managed or manipulated identities. ‘Human’ nature does the rest.

But is the idea ‘human’ a derivative substitution or pale and corrupted copy of an Original?
As long as we can project our sense of sin onto others, and world, and Life itself – we can persist in seeming justified defence of a self-specialness be gotten of the lie and the father of it.

In my appreciation, we are already operating under or within the terms of a ‘pact with the mind of deceit’ – and so can only ‘see’ as the mind we take to be our own, dictates.

While there may be a horror in considering that we are so deceived, its hatefulness is the basis of a recognition of a true need. Rather than persisting the recoil that denies by projected dissonance.

Fear is no basis for sane perception. Vigilance for peace Is. This cannot ‘wait’ on anyone else or for conditions to change – but is a core self honesty that cuts through our own proclivity to ‘secrets and lies’ – instead of assuming and therefore reacting in belief they are the ‘peace’ being violated or threatened. Honesty to our fears is different than enacting them – and re-enacting the same old script.

How about;

“Conspiracy theories propagated by govts serve domestic policy”.

For they are no less engaged in muddying the stream as well as astroturfing for mind capture than any other agency seeking control over communication – and that last phrase can be read two ways.

Giving control priority over communication is backwards.
When communication is put first, the way and means of communicating can then be revealed or dis-covered.
Too Big to fail – may also mean too much to hide.

Delaying the inevitable – when the term inevitable is associated with pain of loss or loss of self (death) – is thus the basis for sacrificing anything and everything to ‘cling on’ to the little they hath.
But if the ‘inevitable’ is truth – and in practice this means transparency and accountability or a true account – then this means the releasing of the terrible burden of warring Reality.

The core basis for this is a genuine and active willingness – and not professed intentions.
An impossible situation needs to be re-evaluated with new eyes – as a result of an expansion of communication, not reinvested and reinforced as a hostage to its denial.

Hidden agenda induce fear. Fear projects threats and shadows on everyone. Everyone feels the withholding of presence and picks up the undercurrent fear. Regardless the forms of deceit, people know they are playing a game of deceit. After a while the game of playing the deceits replaces the awareness of the real world – which is firstly a Relationship and not a basis by which to manipulate and control anyone – including our self.

There is some sense in this report from an unexpected source

118. Lord Hague said that, in light of the challenges of attribution, there were “some suggestions that the burden of proof should be lessened so that we can do without conclusive technological proof that can attribute an attack and rely on evidence such as who had the motivation or which actor had the capacity or stood to gain most from such an attack.” He said this was “a worrying trend, as it leaves us open to these things being spoofed. If we no longer rely on conclusive technological evidence of an attack and rely instead on factors that can be faked, we leave ourselves open to responding to an attack that we should not respond to”.184 We discuss NATO’s response to cyber threats in Chapter 4.

Not to mention spoofs originating from the government itself.

YES. Not to mention.

The recently departed Jim Marrs, the Dallas author of “Crossfire” upon which Oliver Stone based much of his film “JFK”, may have put it best, something like:

“In our times, in this land, unless it’s an outright Act of God, it’s probably a conspiracy.”

Governments outside the French tradition of critical thinking, governments modeled on the Prussian School of education and drone vocations, actively promote an aversion to searching minds that connect the dots that trace the threads in webs of corruption.

Gee, I wonder why.

Disdaining the risks of paranoia, we should all begin our reflections with the (provisional) assumption that everyone is an agent and everything a conspiracy, rather than the other way around, poltroonishly and state-sanctioned.

Then 🚶 walk it carefully back from there

In the interests of National Security. .

Bullseye John. I suspect there are more crimes against the citizen committed in the name of “National Security” than by the states posing largely imaginary foreign threats, invented to keep NATO alive. It has become the new religion, where all disbelief must be suspended, miracles abound, and God must be on our side because we are pure. Troublesome facts are suppressed for the greater good….. Beyond a shadow of any doubt, George.

We are being overrun and overcome by agents provocateurs hatched by USA, Inc. (and “known associates”) and deployed from within our own shores, though they especially like to hire from afar to cover their tracks. They are also missioned to quell any protest of substance, through infiltration and any trick that serves. “Homeland” Intelligence has actually become our greatest adversary. Creating an Intel Chunnel across the Pond was no problem a dozen years ago: the same CIA officer who was in charge of the NYC Port Authority during the Twin Towers fiasco of 9/11 can be found 6 years later as head of London Transit during the Tube bombings of 7/7. Seriously, you just can’t make this stuff up.

I stumbled upon that factoid in my research when I was studying a lot of this 10 years ago, and I haven’t seen it noted elsewhere, but anyone can look it up. (I missed my last train one night in ’97, and wound up sleeping for a few hours just feet from one future bombing site in the London Tube. Rudy Giuliani, NYC provocateur and Trump mouthpiece, was in London July 7, 2005, standing just around the corner from the double decker bus that got blasted?! That was widely, redundantly confirmed.)

Coincidence or Conspiracy? We report, you decide.

As “Pogo” often said, “We have met the enemy, and they is US.”

“During our visit to Washington, officials from across the Administration and legislators from both parties were concerned that the disaggregation of information and the loss of trusted sources was making it difficult to govern. One senior official expressed concern that a significant minority of Western citizens was increasingly believing in conspiracy theories about their own governments and adversaries, which affected the Administration’s ability to achieve broad public support for aspects of its foreign policy.”

This can easily be written as follows:

During our visit to Washington, officials from across the Administration and legislators from both parties were concerned that the democratization of anyone being able to publish information on the internet and an accompanying discrediting of strictly controlled propaganda in the main stream media was making it difficult to maintain the establishment’s narratives. One senior deep state official expressed concern that a significant majority of Western citizens was increasingly believing in deep state conspiracy theories about their own governments and the narratives about its ‘adversaries’ which affected the Administration’s ability to maintain its hegemonic grip on its narratives and consequently a loss of support for its imperialist foreign policies which presents economic risks for the public revenue for the profitable military industrial complex and others who bribe and co-opt Congress and Presidents in a generally corrupted, unrepresentative, non-democractic Administration that fully despises its people.

A survey conducted in the US showed that 74% of citizens believed in the Deep State when the concept was explained to them. I think we can safely say that 74% is a significant majority not a significant minority.

“Few Americans (13%) are very familiar with the term “Deep State;” another 24% are somewhat familiar, while 63% say they are not familiar with this term. However, when the term is described as a group of unelected government and military officials who secretly manipulate or direct national policy, nearly 3-in-4 (74%) say they believe this type of apparatus exists in Washington.”

One measure of political integrity is what they do when voted out, sacked or caught stealing. After years of cosseted, well paid, chauffeured existence, a reasonable expectation from the taxpayer is that removed politicians would put their acquired expertise to use for the people that funded them.

So what do you imagine a rabid wolverine like Albright is doing now? For details, search Albright Stonebridge. The first identifier on their website is that they can open doors for you. This is trading on connections acquired at taxpayers’ expense and the main qualification to access this expertise is cash, any cash, no need for cold or hard. Who would have thought.

Ah, those beastly and imaginary weapons of mass destruction.

Here she curses the Internet for “disaggregating people’s views”. Now that really says it all. She means of course the punters, the Hoi-polloi, who people like her count on, to swallow the steady stream of bullshit manufactured by her ilk. Because independent views are very threatening to the subhuman primate that she epitomizes.
