Saving Syria’s Children Documentary Announced

Robert Stuart, who has done great work analysing the BBC’s Panorama: Saving Syria’s Children, is working on a documentary on this subject. Working with producer Victor Lewis-Smith and actor/director Keith Allen (Unlawful Killing), the hope is to raise enough money to deliver the completed film for April next year.

From their fundraising page:

Overview

Did BBC Panorama collude with ISIS and other jihadist groups in Syria to stage an atrocity?
Are the alleged “napalm” injuries real?
Why was the first report broadcast as parliament was voting on bombing Damascus?
Is the UK charity featured linked to terrorism?
Has a key witness been identified and will she go on record to blow the whistle?
What are the consequences for the BBC’s global reputation?

Is This Scene Real?

images such as this gave persuaded many that the BBC documentary “Saving Syria’s Children” does not represent real events or real injured people

  • The above sequence was broadcast on the BBC1 Ten O’clock News on Thursday 29th August 2013, just as parliament was voting on whether to bomb Syria.
  • A month later BBC Panorama broadcast Saving Syria’s Children which featured more footage (from 30:38) of these alleged victims of an incendiary attack on a school playground in Aleppo.
  • I think the BBC’s footage was faked – and I’ve amassed a mountain of evidence to support this claim.
  • I’m not alone. Hundreds of commenters on this Twitter thread agree with me – the most common comparisons are to The Walking Dead and Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.
  • Furthermore, I’ve uncovered irrefutable evidence that the BBC Panorama crew was embedded with a jihadist group during the programme’s making – a group which was at that time partners with ISIS and which the BBC elsewhere describes as “hardline Islamist”. Was BBC license fee payer revenue paid to this group?

So, what is the point? That because (for argument’s sake) the BBC made a fake video, Assad was not guilty of bombing hospitals and all the rest? Here’s a picture of East Aleppo from Russian media, no less. That’s all the evidence you need that Assad is the head of a mafia state.

While I feel the term mafia can apply to power in the world on any side of many conflicts of interests – as a protection racket; ‘do as we say and we protect you or mitigate your pain, do otherwise and you need protection from our hate and capacity to give pain and loss.

I don’t see that because destruction occurred in Syria that Al-Assad intended or caused it. But he may well have been lured into reactions that were then used as the justification for bringing destruction on Syrians in attempt to overthrow a regime that was part of the club but then was excluded – as with Iraq and Libya.

History is full of deceits by which to set up the target as the aggressor – and the target can be a full member of the club – but in the way of new plans and thus told to roll over or else.

No one can hold any country together amidst competing internal and external forces of idea and identity without a capacity for stark choices in which no option is a clear good. One has to engage with what is – and not a fantasy of what we may wish it to be. So look for evil and you will always find it – but are you only looking there?

Some choices are clearly evil but are self-justified or made exception by a grand Goal.
Goals can blind us to become those who know not what they do, and are set originally as some idea of overcoming evils as if good will thereby prevail or automatically fill the void generated by a destructive force. True change comes from within – and can be supported from without. The attempt to break something to remake in asserted self-image is delusional and therefore destructive no matter how many times it is trued over how many centuries.

Mark:

They showed footage of Asian people rioting, “Tibetans in China rioting against brutal Chinese rule.” This was Indians again, some kind of religious dispute over a temple or mosque.

I would be quite happy to be proved wrong on this, but I think it is a confusion of a number of different events relating to the Tibet riots in 2008.

The whole of the Western media was plastered with lies and bullshit concerning these events, obviously orchestrated for the run-up to the Beijing Olympics and intended to ruin the event. Dozens of media outlets published all sorts of fake and doctored images. The BBC played its willing and enthusiastic part. But it was Fox News that specifically published a photo (not a video) captioned “Chinese troops parade handcuffed Tibetan prisoners in trucks, that showed Indian Police detaining a Kashmiri protester in Kashmir.

Canada’s BBC equivalent, CTV, had an interview with the Chinese Ambassador run by their news lead Mike Duffy, on the theme of whether the Beijing Olympics should be boycotted. Half way through the interview the screen switched to video of police violently beating demonstrators, leaving viewers with the impression that they were watching Chinese police attacking Tibetan protesters while the Chinese Ambassador lied about it. In fact this was footage of Nepalese police attacking Tibetans in Nepal, and had nothing to do with China, a fact that was never made known to Canadian viewers.

Here is a link to the CTV interview. (I’ll also post the link to the Fox story if I can find it)

Mark, I think you need to be more precise in your approach, otherwise you come across as very ‘scattergun’:

They showed a row of dead bodies, Middle Eastern people, “murdered by the evil butcher Assad.” This was stock footage of Iraqis killed in the invasion of 2003.

It is important that anyone interested in the issue of BBC coverage of Syria is familiar with the full details of this story. What actually happened was this:

On 27 May 2012, the day after an alleged ‘massacre’ by Assad in Houla, at a point when the debate about Syria and ‘what we should do’ was starting to get very hot, the BBC published a story on its website headlined “Syria massacre in Houla condemned as outrage grows”. The story was illustrated with a photo of hundreds of shrouded bodies in a warehouse. The photo was captioned “This image – which cannot be independently verified – is believed to show the bodies of children in Houla awaiting burial”.

The photo wasn’t ‘stock footage’. It had been taken by Italian photographer Marco di Lauro, ten years earlier, in Iraq. It showed hundreds of skeletons that had been unearthed from a mass grave there. It had nothing at all to do with Syria, Assad, Houla, or massacres there.

It was spotted completely by chance by di Lauro himself. When he contacted the BBC the story was promptly ‘disappeared’ – no explanation, no apology, nothing. The only reason we know about it is because the Telegraph covered it in an article by Hannah Furness (below is the link). At the time the Telegraph and the “lefty Beeb’ were sworn enemies. Now that they are both resolutely singing from the same establishment songsheet, I suspect the story would be quietly spiked – “Nothing to see here…”

Never since that day have I believed a single word emerging from the BBC Lie Factory on the subject of Syria, Assad, or anything else in the Middle East.

We are VERY lucky to have genuine journalists of the calibre of people like this to get the truth out against the barrage of lies from the BBC and their ilk.
People like Vanessa Beeley, Eva Bartlett, Lizzie Phelan, John Pilger, Max Blumenthal and others to counteract their lies.
Hence the frantic efforts to close down alternate media.

In a very similar BBC video, you can see the “gas victims” extras hanging about looking bored, waiting for their cue.
Then they all suddenly start groaning in agony in unison.
Nearby there is a row of “dead bodies” wrapped in sheets.
One “dead” guy gets bored as he lies there and starts yawning and scratching his nose.

The BBC do this all the time. Lying scumbag filth. They are always being caught out. It’s surprising they are so blatant and amateurish. You’d think they could do better with £4 billion of taxpayers money just jacked up by another five quid a year per head.

They produced some footage of street demonstrations, supposedly “democracy campaigners in Moscow protesting against the tyrannical rule of Putin.”
It was actually Greeks in Athens protesting about EU austerity policies.

They produced footage of people celebrating in the street.
“Libyans celebrating the overthrow of the brutal dictator Gaddafi.”
This was people in India celebrating some kind of religious festival.

They showed a row of dead bodies, Middle Eastern people, “murdered by the evil butcher Assad.”
This was stock footage of Iraqis killed in the invasion of 2003.

There was a large demonstration in Damascus of pro Assad supporters.
Naturally the BBC magically transformed them all into “anti government protestors and moderate rebels.”

They showed footage of Asian people rioting, “Tibetans in China rioting against brutal Chinese rule.”
This was Indians again, some kind of religious dispute over a temple or mosque.

Does anyone really think they have just started doing this?
What else have they lied to us about since they first started?
If they fake these “atrocities”, what other atrocities have they fabricated?
What about “holocaust” atrocity footage?
How much of that did they fake?

… they showed a Ukrainian separatist fighter cruelly ‘celebrating’ the downing of MH17 by waving a child’s toy aloft. What they didn’t show, along with numerous MSM journalists from around the world who were all present and knew the context, was the journalists asking him to hold the toy up in the air so they could photograph it, followed by the man gently placing it back on the ground and making the sign of the cross as he did so. RT showed the whole footage to put the record straight. That was the event that led me to distrust everything we are told by Western media and to question their motives.

I see is a deeper cognitive dissonance in that ‘information’ is considered a weapon and truth is nailed up on a post and left for dead.
It used to be that if you wanted to lie, and get away with it, you had to evade, shut down or discredit anything that exposes a lack of substance and false intent. Now the mainstream idea is just make reality up and keep repeating it or referring to it. This may be because a significant section of the population is effectively mind-captured by a broad spectrum of degradation and disincentive to question or challenge – and I am including the fronting players of the leadership class.

There is a view of being attacked or betrayed by a usurping intent that progressively chokes Life – but there is also the willingness to comply and conform to its dictate by taking the bait of deceits that are allowed to operate as true because not conforming will self-identifiy us as an object of dissonance and vilification or attack under accusation of hateful intent, or by association with it.

There is a Christian perspective that those who choose NOT to join in false witness and instead give willingness and with-ness to the true, shall meet persecution. It goes with the territory. Perhaps less clear is that this is the condition in which faith in the capacity to discern the false and recognize and align in true is deepened and strengthened.
I am not a ‘Christian’ in any organisational or institutional sense – but I love and honour truth wherever I recognize it – and meet others – regardless their personality beliefs – in shared willingness.

Truth is not in what we say or do or present or assert or agree or defend – because all these things can be masking over private hidden agenda. Now it may be that for many – reality is a battle that will be decided by which narrative assertion wins – and so belief in power as the arbiter of ‘truth’ is the belief that uses all other beliefs, ideas or forms of life and truth to undermine all rivals and prevail. (Truth by combat is an old idea that if God is on your side your will prevail. Truth by deceit is perhaps the conflict and the father of it).

And while there is conflict such intent operates as a ‘unity’ set against the feared or hated. But there is no alliance that will not turn to hate and betrayal – WITHOUT such opposition because it is not power at rest in Life – but power given it by the deceit and subjugation of others.

There is another Christian Perspective that is not apparent in the frame or mind of the world and that is that whatever we do, we do it unto Christ or to our Self. I realize this may seem crazy to ‘mind as a thing set aginst its experience of others and world’ – but the sense that I use the term is not in support self-specialness – but a quality of being that is hidden or covered over BY indentifying in fear and division and conflict, pain, loss and hate – and the compulsion to seek love or power – outside the self, rather than extend these true qualities as our recognition of others and life. An extra point to me writing this is that this is not a call to add more guilt to the already guilted self, but to wake to a choice that is unworthy of persisting in.
Seeing this truly is already releasing allegiance in it as true of us.

A lie cannot kill truth but wanting or fearing and believing it true captures or entrances the mind to defend the lie – against a now un-recognized truth.

(It is easier to deceive a man that convince him he is deceived – Mark Twain).

Discovering we ar being lied to is easy to react to with attack – because it feels like being denied is attacked – but if we do so it generally reinforces the mind-captured in their right or justification to attack their attacker – and not show or allow weakness of self-doubt.
There is a difference in forceful expression and anger. Passion serves presence when it is brought into service instead of serving personal grievance.

I understand and can easily feel a hatred of deceits that work against Life because they are are not just untrue but actively seeking to undermine and block truth – justified by that there is a war on – (and a perpetual war at that).

But the result in many who wake enough to see deceits is often a dispiriting, disturbing and hateful cynicism – that may then dedicate itself to vengeance as a core self vindication.
But that – as I see it – is the NATURE of the Beast – and not its undoing or exposure to light of a true awareness.

It is not enough to be ‘right’ over and against wrongs, and become a captive opposition by nature of operating from the same framework of seeking power. We have to become aware of the right of others to the power of choice – even when we do NOT share their choice – and then we can speak to their capacity to make better choices in the light of self-defeating and destructive outcomes.

This is not merely in or with words – that may in any case remain unintelligible to a defensive directive NOT to understand them – but in our presence, demeanour of addressing the issue WITH and TO the person – only I would prefer to say – to the being of the other.

If I need to vent or move anger or hate from me in expression I DON’T want it to occur as the self-sabotage of an opportunity for communication. This is not a judgement against leaking, and some idea of how we ‘should’ be – but a perspective from a recognition of how what seems self-protective can so easily effect self-frustrating outcomes. If we do not move it and transorm it we store it in the body as a debilitating condition that can easily be retriggerred over and over again.

Whatever might be ‘going on’ in our time, an ongoing and deepening education is a context for seeing it in a truer and more practical light. A willingness to learn, needs listen and watch and recognize what a mind blinded in its own thinking has already reacted to as if it knows. It only knows it is upset – and believes the upset is caused by its Adversary of circumstance of threatening and therefore feared and hated intent.

Intifada is an Arabic word literally meaning, as a noun, “tremor”, “shivering”, “shuddering”. It is derived from an Arabic term nafada meaning “to shake”, “shake off”, “get rid of”, as a dog might shrug off water, or as one might shake off sleep, or dirt from one’s sandals.

While this MAY be associated with armed rebellion – the phrase reminds me of Jesus’ teaching, for when there is no receptivity to giving witness to the recognition of love’s awareness – the teaching was to shake the dust of your sandals but leave with a blessing.

The blessing may be ‘Thanks – but no thanks’ to abuse – but in terms of ‘moving on and putting it behind us’ the act has to shift to a quality of conscious attention when the body cannot leave the reach of abuser. Saying NO! as an expression of self-integrity takes the form that serves the moment, and may not be able to prevent the physical situation – but it can refuse to accept the frame of victim and un-valid or un-worthy inferior – by aligning within an integrity of being that underlies the mind of the fear we have none or are robbed of it, because the inducement to hate and fear seems overwhelming. Where do we find our “No!”? It is the expression of a “Yes!” to Life instead of a fear of pain of loss and death. My experience is that a little willingness lets truth in. That is abiding an extra moment than the mind would allow – breaks the spell that closes down our vision – and even that much is a significant gain to grow on.

Likewise then, to seek and invite a little willingness in the other to open to more than they think they are – and so act from – is an invitation to truth rather than trying to push our truth onto them or trick them into an outcome we think is a true god – I meant to type good – but a god is anything that we assign reality to and act from.

God extends reality AS our awareness of Life and yet if we are busy or engaged or indeed en-tranced to making up our own reality – then we give or extend unlike truth and set our ‘self’ in error.

The last figure available for funding the white helmets was 25 million from Gov UK alone, so it’s likely the BBC was also chipping in a few quid to help the show along. The amount of evidence has been accumulating for years exposing this theatre of the macabre; but there is a huge multi-billion propaganda initiative still going on to cement the fake narrative around stories Syria, Libya and other US FP failures [the most recent being a multi-million $ block buster “A Private War”].

With the Russian collusion narrative gone down the drain and the US looking more like a fading Empire the spooks are working harder than ever to reinvigorate the Great Game. The control of the Trancaucasian region has been central to the Western empires striving for global domination for 150 years. Now the preserve of the fading US empire. Unfortunately the money is on China to be the next emerging hegemon and quote of the week must go to Ian Walsh with his piece, “America: A Failing State”

https://www.ianwelsh.net/america-a-failing-state/

“…for almost 40 years now, US elites have treated the US as something to loot, and assumed that the good times would keep rolling. They were uninterested in actually governing. They were happy to move much of America’s core manufacturing overseas, to the most likely nation to replace America as a hegemon, because the Chinese were smart enough to make American elites rich.”

Brilliant “…the Chinese were smart enough to make American elites rich.”

So at the heart of this – children being exploited in Syria – to create mockumentaries to promote war and the death of more children sponsored by the Western powers. Videos which are illegal using children for war propaganda purposes let alone the disgusting tactics of what appear to be using the manipulation of dead bodies to create certain videos.

Our corrupt state broadcaster the BBC works hand in glove with our equally corrupt MSM both here and in America. It is about time that their “licence fee” was abolished and TV broadcasting was opened up to other parties free from the malign influences of our political class. Their banal entertainment offerings are the sugar coating on a pill named propaganda. As the following link reveals their version of “news” exposes them as untrustworthy liars.

Glad to see this project progressing, as I have followed with interest from the start, when reading a link from Vanessa Beeley’s writing. Robert deserves wide recognition and respect for his sincerity and determined efforts.

It really is mindblowing that the BBC did this, even when considering all their history of distortions, lies and ommissions. It is so obviously/ badly faked that one has to wonder at the real objective -beyond the obvious war mongering. The more I learn about propaganda, the more deeply sinister it all seems.

Another weekend passed for me with an awkward conversation -as if from ten or fifteen years ago- where a close relative considers themselves well informed because they read a variety of liberal establishment newspapers, then tries to verbally bully any challenge into silence. I am still the crank of the family, for insisting that the narratives of the powerful should be subject to scrutiny.

I will support the documentary, but wonder if reasoned, evidenced argument even works on those who dare not question their own world views ?

Definitely agree. Robert Stuart is part of a multi-expert panel which travel the country to present ‘Media on Trial’. While the presentations are all compelling, the evidence he has presented is probably most responsible for getting many to finally wake up and see what is going on.

The images will probably leave people in utter shock and disbelief that the state broadcaster is actively complicit in mass murder, supporting terror, warmongering and mass deception of its audience. But for the sake of the Syrian people and probably our own if we are to reverse the grave risk of conflict with Russia, we should all support this.

In the meantime, those BBC jounalists and researchers who’ve worked on Syria should not wait until they retire before speaking out, Have the courage to call out this fraud now. Better to come forward now and put the record straight than be charged with war crimes further down the line.

I think it is a signal in the clear to anyone with eyes to see – and thus another level of psyop as ‘mind fuck’ and indeed a taunt; “come out if you dare!” If you are not already outside the range of influence or career in the mainstream of society – you soon will be if you speak!

On the other hand – if evil serves a higher purpose unknowing – this could be prompting the captured or deceived mind to question its experience.

So I feel there are always two ways – and the more we give ‘THEM’ the power the more overwhelmed we feel in contrast. That is also why not always to believe leaks as to the power of surveillance – for example.

While sometimes high tech systems actually work – they can also suffer from garbage in; garbage out – or that reliable factor called human error.

Film makers know that a good (effective) evil is more so by remaining hidden as long as possible because no image is as terrible as is projected onto the ‘unknown’. This also applies to mandating they must not be unspoken. The whole thing is a mind trap.

One of the ways to defeat a much larger adversary is by all manner of deceits – along with an extremely disciplined core force. I cant but think that deceit is no way to maintain discipline excepting under fear and inducement to privilege and protection. Once the latter is accepted the former becomes obviously attached.
But the only way to hold a negative agenda together is by sacrificing everything else. This has to kill the goose that lays the golden egg – in the sense that Illusion absolutely depends upon truth to ‘feed on’ and usurp by denial – and yet it cannot afford truth in and must stamp it out, airbrush it or generate diversion through division.

If one could make one’s enemy into a robot doll of programmed obedience – where would be the victory after a its moment of fantasy fulfilment? Where’s the Life?

What’s inexplicable and inexcusable is that if you were to show the footage to the general public with no context they would immediately say it was an amateurishly enacted and acted, fictional sci-fi type drama (and, as the article says, compare it to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ video). But as soon as it is labelled as evidence of atrocities committed by the Syrian Government all sense flies out the window and a significant proportion of those asked would immediately ignore the obvious reality of the spectacle and voice outrage, demanding military action to punish the Syrian Government.

I have acquaintances who – on the face of it – are intelligent, level-headed people but swallow everything they are told by the Govt and MSM hook, line and sinker. I know they think that I am bonkers when I try to encourage them to just open their eyes to the obvious. They refuse point blank. I have given up trying to find an answer to what it would take to convince them that they are being manipulated,

I’m afraid it’s a case of people believing what they want to believe. It is tempting to believe that such people must be weak minded, but this effect has been proven to be very strong. It can also be compounded by the effect that people tend to believe, or at least say they believe, whatever the majority of people around them seem to believe. Bring these two effects together with a well resourced international mass-media outlet, with a strong reputation, like the BBC and you have a powerful recipe for effective large scale mind control.
