The essay you refer to is good, but don’t be fooled. The guy works for the federal government and is an absolute vaccine evangelist if you read his other posts.

He claims to be a data scientist and pontificates on length on how the unstabbed are filling up Ontario hospitals. Of course he has never bothered to read the methodological footnotes which state that
a) “unvaccinated” includes everyone within 14 days of the first jab. Those 14 days are a period in which a LOT of people fall ill with “covid”. It may be covid, it may be an adverse reaction, but it’s a dangerous period.
b) they don’t explain properly if they tested the vaccinated and unvaccinated at similar rates and whether the people who test positive for covid actually have any covid symptoms or are simply testing positive asymptomatically while being there for other reasons.
One gets the impression they’ve cherry picked the data, Of course this rocket scientist doesn’t bother with any of that.
