"Extending the touchpoints and avenues" Well, if shoving your pop heros, their lyrics and music videos down other peoples throat in news media articles like this, including the comments sections, is not about 'extending the touchpoints and avenues . The WEF and the tech companies do the game of dominating culture and over-shouting everything else better than you guys. That pop music went down this avenue is only inherent to it, the WEF services you to provide you bread and play,and their system of shoving it through everybodies throat, and to dominate the whole culture is just a step up compared what the pop masses have been doing themselves for decades.

FYI, sorry for a pedantic nitpick to your rant, but “A Horse with No Name” was written by Dewey Bunnell, and was a 1971 hit for his band “America”.

For some reason, it was mistaken for a Neil Young song early on, and this misattribution metastasized and became a “settled” error in pop culture. Just letting you know. Rant on!

Right after Joni Mitchell made her pronouncement that people are spreading lies and people are dying, two of my musician friends wrote to me within an hour of each other requesting that I remove their names from my published albums because…. wait for it…. they don’t want to be associated with me IN ANY WAY.

Gasp! It was as if I’d dropped a literal bomb on their grannys’ houses.

I have another musician friend who also has now been sidelined by his former bandmates for similar reasons.

The only thing I can say with surety in this Covid age is that we have an extreme brainwashing situation in our societies — something I’ve known for a long time, but just didn’t realize how bad it really was….. until, well, Joni. Pretty sad how she sabotaged her own legacy.

Anyway, loved the essay, Trevor in Trimley. I needed to laugh, but also to cry…..
