The Pentagon’s B-Movie: Looking Closely at the September 2001 Attacks

An introduction Graeme MacQueen’s latest book

Edward Curtin

This new book by Graeme MacQueen (click here for a free e-copy) contains a collection of his articles and essays on the attacks of September 11, 2001, the subsequent anthrax attacks, and analyses of other false flag operations.  They are profoundly important and shatter the official versions of those events.

No one reading this book can come away from it not convinced that the U.S. government is a terrorist state. MacQueen’s conclusions are not based on rhetoric but on a deep empirical analyses, facts not propaganda.

With this volume, Graeme MacQueen takes his place alongside David Ray Griffin as a prophet without honor in his own time. History will declare him a hero.  To write the following introduction is a great honor, for my esteem for Graeme and his work is immense.

*

Graeme MacQueen’s work is a testament to a man devoted to the search for truth and the freedom and peace that ensue from its discovery. I think it is surely not an accident that he is a Buddhist scholar and a former professor of religious and peace studies.

In this regard, he reminds me of two other inspired theologians who carry the message of love and peace into the political realm where their extraordinary writing has given great hope to those yearning for truth and justice: James W. Douglass and David Ray Griffin, the former the great JFK scholar and the latter the author of a dozen or so groundbreaking books on the events of September 11, 2001.

In this book, which is a primer on government propaganda, Graeme continues to teach how illusions must be punctured and the veil of government secrecy parted, lessons gleaned from the core of the world’s religions. That the truth will set us free is the essence of these teachings. Yet truth is a hard taskmaster and requires great courage, fortitude, and determination, which Graeme possesses in abundance, both in his person and in his writing.

Exposing the lies of the official versions of September 11, 2001, the anthrax attacks, etc. takes guts, for it causes conflict with family, friends, and authorities. It brands one a ”conspiracy theorist” who has lost his reason. In Graeme’s case this is hilarious, for you will nowhere find a writer who is less doctrinaire and who sticks more closely to evidence. In fact, I, an impetuous type, have sometimes found his approach a bit too cautious, but I have always come around to see the value in it and to trust that his conclusions are based on rigorous logic and evidence.

Sometimes a photograph can reveal a person’s soul. I think the photo of Graeme that precedes his preface, taken in 2006 when he first embarked on his writing about the official lies of September 11, 2001, truly shows his spirit. Although in his late fifties, he looks very boyish, a bit of a rake, but with the countenance of a man deeply disturbed by what he is seeing through the eidola of official propaganda. There is a trace of both sorrow and determination in his eyes. His behatted head suggests a man ready to fish for truth in the deepest depths of an ocean of lies.

As a Buddhist scholar who has long known that creative writing and speech come freely from a state of mind different from, and higher than, the normal, I think it is self-evident that his inspired writing in this book is the result of a mind clarified by the realization that the inner and outer cannot be divorced, that life and death are one, and that looking out involves looking in.

For it seems to me self-evident, that those who oppose the consensus realty of a cruel and violent social order are also trying to redeem themselves from the profound tricks the ego plays on us all, while they probe the deceptions of official propaganda. And while Graeme does not explicitly state the connections between his religious writing and research and the political analyses in this book, it is evident that his work makes manifest that “Reality” is one whole, and that the isolated individual self that separates the personal from the political has led to a badly broken world.

About a decade ago, I had the privilege of being asked to review his brilliant bookThe 2001 Anthrax Deception, that forms the basis for a few of the chapters in this collection. We became great friends. And if I have yet to say anything about the content of The Pentagon’s B-Movie, it is because while it is obvious that books are written by human beings (although this is changing with AI), who those authors really are is often elided.

“Great men do not play stage tricks with the doctrines of life and death: only little men do that,” wrote John Ruskin. As a compelling exposer of official stage tricks, Graeme is great, but you would never hear it from him.

He is humble and self-deprecating in the extreme. His laugh and sense of humor is contagious, although his writing only reflects this in a sentence here or there. But I have learned that those without a sense of humor or the ability to laugh at themselves are not to be trusted. Egos block the door to truth. And even as he has battled very serious illness over recent years, Graeme’s laughter on the subject of death is to me a sign of a man pure of heart and grateful for his life in all its complexity.

The articles in this collection were written over a span of sixteen years. Divided into three sections, they intersect to form a devastating critique of multiple matters, such as the government assassinations of JFK and MLK, various false flag events, but most especially September 11, 2001 and the subsequent anthrax attacks. It is impossible to read them sequentially and not be convinced of their truths. Each in its turn, reinforces the adage that “the emperor has no clothes.” More so, by stripping away every claim of the official narratives step-by-step, we see the emperor skinless as well, a skeleton caught dead to rights with its lethal lies conclusively exposed.

In many ways, the opening chapter, “9/11: The Pentagon’s B-Movie,” a tour-de-force, serves to foreshadow many of the themes that follow, concluding with “The Triumph of the Official Narrative: How the TV Networks Hid the Twin Towers Explosive Demolition on 9/11” with co-author Ted Walter.

Graeme makes clear from the start that it is the moving images of television and film that are central to the official propaganda. This is Plato’s allegory of the cave updated where shadows on the wall are used to delude people into not seeing what obviously happened if they turned toward the light. As he writes:

This “9/11 movie” reveals itself to careful investigators as scripted, directed and produced by the U.S. national security state. The movie does not represent the real world. It violates the rules operative in the real world, including the laws of physics. Audiences will remain in thrall to the spectacle and violence of the War on Terror only as long as they remain mesmerized by the B-movie of 9/11.

But as he knows, B-movies are often popular, especially when they are of the horror genre with their ability to traumatize the viewers, even when they might suspect they are being taken for a ride. One enters a monster film with belief suspended and often leaves it forgetting it was an illusion, for the movie has penetrated deep into one’s psyche. “Only when people sense the genuine danger,” he tells us, “and leave behind fiction and special effects will they be in a position to deal with the real monster that confronts us.” This demands seeing the evil and pitiless oligarchy responsible for 9/11 as the monsters they are.

Such truth can only be distinguished from the shadows when the audience leaves the theater of the absurd, exits into the light, and snaps out of the hypnotic state. Many never do, especially because the movies are not confined to movie theaters anymore. They are integral to modern day-to-day screen life. The moving images in people’s heads often supplant reality, as Graeme makes clear:

But imagine what would happen if audiences remained convinced by the suspension of the laws of physics after they left the theatre? This, it seems to me, is what has happened with the events of September 11, 2001. Many people are still deceived by the special effects. They are still captured by the movie of 9/11.

And since the only way to exit from such horrors is mental, one often needs a wise guide. Graeme is that guide.

This book will jolt you back to reality with its concluding chapters where TV video news reports are used to show how the official narrative was quickly fashioned after initial television reports clearly showed that the buildings were blown up from within. MacQueen again [my emphasis]:

Our conclusion was that evidence-free claims, combined with repetition and a dramatic yarn, were the major mechanisms used. We also found that the evident precision and coordination demonstrate the existence of—yes, we should acknowledge it—an extremely ambitious and detailed conspiracy.

In conclusion, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how Graeme uses the concept of imagination as a probe to understand how it can be used to manipulate images by propagandists, particularly through moving images, but also how it can be used as a first step in undermining those official narratives. In this regard his castigation of leftists — Noam Chomsky Alexander Cockburn, Chris Hedges, et al. – and leftist media for their acceptance of the official lies of the JFK assassination and September 11, is significant. These people, by their overt or covert support of the government’s propaganda, have been key cogs in its success. Graeme writes:

Indeed, much of the Western left leadership and associated media not only trusted the FBI while ignoring Furtado, Chavez, the Venezuelan National Assembly and Fidel Castro; they also, through silence and ridicule, worked to prevent serious public discussion of the 9/11 controversy.

Among the U.S. left media that kept the silence, partially or wholly, are:

Monthly Review
Common Dreams
Huffington Post
Counterpunch
The Nation
The Real News
Democracy Now!
Z Magazine
The Progressive
Mother Jones
Alternet.org
MoveOn.org

Thus all these leftists, no matter what they say in their defense, bear great moral responsibility for the so-called War on Terror, the Patriot Act, the invasion of Iraq, the deaths of Muslims, etc., all of which emanate from the insider attacks of September 11 and the subsequent anthrax attacks. With leftists like these, the CIA’s courting of “the compatible left” (a term coined by the CIA’s Cord Meyer), begun in the 1950s, has achieved its greatest success. The pacification of the liberal/left bourgeoise has been extremely successful and continues to the present day.

There is no need for me to tell you more about the material in this great book. Just read it. As an adjunct to Graeme’s fundamental book, The 2001 Anthrax Deception, this work tears off the veil of lies that has become the normative order for so many over the past few decades.

Whether this work frees many from the official lies or not, it is clear that Graeme has fulfilled his destiny to set us all free, if we so choose.

He pulls no punches and shows how September 11, 2001 and the anthrax attacks are an integrated inside job, serving to reinforce each other. You can ask no more of anyone.

He is an exemplar of a beautiful human being and a writer of profound importance.

This collection confirms that.

Society is about the most virulently controlling mentally deranged individuals imposing their totalitarian will on those too ignorant or apathetic to recognise those traits.

The minority that see through them must be destroyed, even if they are family members.

Would you enjoy being Jake Sullivan’s rebellious brother?

How about seeing through John Bolton?

Imagine being born a Rockefeller and having to swallow their self-justifying claptrap from a pre-school age.

You would not be spared unless you self censored and let them continue on their destructive paths.

You would know what they were, what they could and would do. You would do nothing about it, unless you were prepared to risk your life, leave the family behind for ever and tell the world ‘my brother is a genocidal psychopath’

Nice choice to have in life, eh?

Anything on 9/11 that ignores the photographic evidence presented by Dr Judy Wood is pretty worthless.
The evidence points to the likelyhood that the “thermite” scenario is equally fake and that the buidings were disintegrated by some kind of microwave weapon…the huge cloud was not smoke but dust- the bulk of the materials that comprised the buildings and their contents were turned into dust before hitting the ground… there are photos that show this quite clearly, as well as photos at ground level of weird fires, molten/mangled engine blocks next to intact plastic parts, paper not burned, and much more… The people jumping out the windows were not taking off their clothes because there was a fire. They were being cooked from inside as a microwave oven cooks…

Have they used this tech since, maybe in the Middle East?

Greetings Crusader Rabbit on the Vernal/Autumnal Equinox.
As stated at the top of the Contents page, “In the early stages of assembling this book, there was the thought of producing a print-on-demand edition. It was determined this prospect was not feasible at present given the large amount of video content it contains.” Beyond a print version, an audio version, mp3 on CD or otherwise, is in no way feasible in the near term. Operating on a shoe-string, we do the best we can to publish text-image-film content. Your query is appreciated and will be added in to the forever-expanding To Do list.

The ICC doesn’t even have the ability to arrest anyone, does it? Not without the country of the criminal signing the treaty joining the ICC. Pretty sure I just read that in the New Normal article? So you would be correct – none of them are shitting themselves as they know nothing comes of this but noise to distract the plebes.

So it’s a mere charade, as it always is. While the MSM may bleat on about the oh noes, the US might get indicted, and US hypocrisy will finally be seen by all, that’s just to keep the suspense going. It’s about as real as Russiagate, to use a golden oldie in utter fakery.

I think it was E. Martin Schotz’s History Will Not Absolve Us in which someone says that all this blather about “Oh who knows?” and “We’ll never truly find out!” etc. is nonsense. The fact is that anyone with any intelligence at all and not blinded by the emperor’s new clothes of the media would see right away that we actually do know about these events e.g. we know that JFK and 9/11 were “inside jobs” and that the only mysteries around them lie in a few gaps re: the methods and the specific operatives involved.

Agree / disagree – I think critical mysteries remain – that is, why – the technical “gaps” are interesting but much less important. Who pulled it off and what did they hope to accomplish? And we always should assume complexity and multiplicity and not uni-hypothesis. To fight wars on behalf of Israel? – Could well be – but is that all? – Re-patriate wealth stolen from Russia in the 90s? (by wiping out almost the entire cadre of FX traders in NYC and suspending SEC rules) set up a dynamic in which mostly black and brown people (TSA) are humiliating mostly white people in the airports every day? – maybe/maybe not – point is – wide range of partners pursuing a wide range of objectives – always look for that. Plenty of wealthy people thought the WTC towers were aesthetic monstrosities and were glad when they were gone.

I picture a coin.

On one side it says “Conspiracy Theorist”
on the other side it says, “Antisemitism”.

Those that want to intimidate you
use that coin
often.

They are trying to “other” you.
It is a primal urge to belong and to be accepted by groups.
That is paramount for your sense of self, sense of worth, sense of identity.

When they flip that coin they are appealing to your fear of being rejected,
fear of loss of social standing. They do this by labeling you an “other”, an outsider,
even a pariah.

The coin is a con.
We need to see that coin for what it is
so that it loses power over us.

The coin actually has more than two sides.
Perhaps you can think of others.
The above described fear of rejection definitely is applicable to
the cancel culture.

If the fireballs did not exhaust the aviation fuel such a fire could not exceed 1,800°F. The melting point of steel is 2,800°F. The steel used in the Towers was certified for 2,000°F for 3-4 hours. One Tower burned for only about 1hr before collapsing, and the other for 1.5 hr. There was no slow asymmetrical tilt to suggest weakening steel. Of the 236 samples of steel NIST examined, 233 had been heated to not more than 500°F, and the rest to not more than 1200.

The Murrah disaster was buried so quickly it was never seriously questioned even by most alternate sources.

Back in the days when James Corbett was second to none, he had a “Suicided” Report about an Oklahoma City policeman who was starting to make serious waves.

The deliberate killing of children would have just about toppled the government if the truth had gotten out. The Murrah disaster was potentially far more threatening to the criminal cabal running the country than 911.

How can you tell if someone is left or right ?
A simple guide:
Left-wingers have fantasies about the working class,
Right-wingers have fears about the working class…
The left (esp the Vanguardists) fantasise workers into The Leading Role of The Revolution…
Right-wingers shriek gut wrenching fears believing every strike is the start of The Revolution; tremble at the thought of workers breaking free of their controls (stumble about like chooks, squawking “The sky is falling ! The sky is falling !)…

“the CIA’s courting of “the compatible left” (a term coined by the CIA’s Cord Meyer)”. Meyer’s wife Mary Pinchot supposedly had an affair with JFK and introduced him to LSD (although the whole thing is such a hall of mirrors who knows?). She died in extremely strange circumstances with the designated patsy getting off because he did something that hadn’t been expected (jumping in the river). What the incident certainly shows is part of how these operations work with the area flooded with agents who then pose as eyewitnesses. It explains how, for example, the “eyewitnesses” in the Tippit killing split 50/50 whether he was killed by one man or more. The MSM always say the most reliable must therefore be the nearest – even though she says the dying Tippit spoke to her and the autopsy showed Tippit was shot through the heart and was dead before he hit… Read more »

Possibly, though his body was apparently never found. At least according to Appian in Civil Wars:

Plutarch, Appian and Florus all claim that Spartacus died during the battle, but Appian also reports that his body was never found.

This leads me to recall Karl Rove’s words on how reality is created for us to do no more than continually critique, and to wonder if twenty or so years from now there will be after-the-fact (long forgotten?) publications, or rather underground tracts that have escaped the thought police and ministry of truth, on the cheap porn flick, and snuff film, of the convid coup, likewise courtesy largely of the Pentagram (and whether there will be anyone left among the culled and zombified to read them).

I’ve always thought that the 9/11 attacks weren’t so much a conspiracy as an accident. Sure, the twin towers were to be attacked but I don’t think the result was intended to be quite as devastating as it was. After all, there had been a serious attempt to blow up a tower some years previously but it had failed to topple the towers due to their structural design despite the bomb doing significant damage. In order to understand these events you have to zoom out and look at the wider context — specifically the ‘oven ready’ Patriot Act and the never been satisfactorily explained anthrax attacks (the latter helping to move along the former — after all, you don’t want any legisltators actually reading what they’re signing us up for). The actual events are now in the past. What we can learn from them is not so much the actual… Read more »

Criticism of Israel isn’t antisemitic. Israel is a country, not a religion. Really, that should be obvious by now, unless you think all Jewish people everywhere are in full agreement with the governing agendas of Israel the country. I for one highly doubt that is anywhere near true, but do go on about the raging antisemitism in any critique of Israeli government policies.

You didn’t get that quite right. Israel is a made-up country, not a race.

Religion is not race, and there is nothing wrong with criticising it. Unlike race, religion is a cultural option and, if it was genuine, it would not have a problem with criticism.

You could go further and point out that “semitism” technically is not a race and does not refer to the Jewish tribes exclusively, and also, as the final blow of truth, that most modern people who identify as Jews in Europe, America and Israel are really just white people.
At this point you will know how brainwashed your audience is.

“Pro-Kremlin” appears to be the current ‘goto’ for any critique of the government/establishment. This is a dangerous mindset. The only ‘pro’ should be ‘pro truth’ — if the shoe fits, etc. We know for a fact that our government has systematically lied to us on more than one occasion. Its quite likely that other governments lie. However, its easy enough to discern what’s likely and what’s not and if ‘our’ government is so damn stupid to think it can get away with obvious falsehoods I’m not going to give them a pass just because someone in the Russian government — or any other government — points it out. This is important from a purely practical perspective. We might lap up all the KoolAid that’s we’re fed but there’s large parts of the world which don’t like the taste. That act was like the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald – trial by death. That is, no trial, and thus, real trial-worthy evidence would became redundant. It was a key chapter in the telling of September 11th. After the Navy Seal raid at Abbottabad, Pakistan: The body of so-called “Bin Laden” was immediately thrown overboard mafia-style to the bottom of the ocean. Before we got to even see it. Photos taken by the Navy Seals of the body were ordered destroyed or turned over to the CIA, out of reach of FOIA requests. The helmet cameras worn by the Navy Seals were at first heralded! Btw., there’s a problem with the missing jolt argument: Assuming pancaking happened, the upper block would be compressed. So if you just check for the upper edge of it, it may well continue to go down fast. I mean, if pancaking is real, the way this would have gone down is: Upper block falls, gets compressed, forms a pile of steel beams lying on top of each other and accelerating ever more. Of course, when the video shows neither compression nor slowing down… But really, the pancaking will either slow down and stop or accelerate and continue, it would hardly proceed with constant speed. That’s why a raised the previous question.

Governments experience no gains from war. Governments are indifferent to war. Only oil companies, agricultural companies, military provider companies, mineral mining companies and sellers of franchises others like them, achieve a gain from war. The gain comes from weakened resistance which allows the economic empires to take-over. Empires eliminate competition least they not retain their empire. Governments do not profit. Neither control or ownership of resources are essential to government purposes. Empires, Oligarchs and their corporations, insist the empire is the only legitimate owner of the resources that exist within each nation. Empires accomplish this “exclusive access to and right to use” either by contract, lease, or ownership. and they accomplish contract, lease or ownership by rule of law, invasion, regime change, war, treaty etc. Deed, copyright and patent owners<= enjoy “exclusive right” to the factors of production, not the governments. “Exclusive rights” generate monopoly powers. The Pentagon? Look at where was not attacked on 9/11. Certain other sites in New York City and in Virginia come to mind. Graeme McQueen has done some excellent work but this is a strange mis-direction, strange not least because it’s exactly the same trick they pulled off to deflect blame for Vietnam via the Pentagon Papers. Nothing to do with the CIA and their Wall Street overlords… no siree! As for John Ruskin, here’s what David Livingstone has to say about him in Vol.3 of ‘Ordo ab Chao’: “according to [George Bernard] Shaw, ‘the most thoroughgoing opponents of our existing state of society’ declared themselves followers not of Karl Marx but of John Ruskin, the English art critic, Social Darwinist, Freemason, occultist and pedophile, who inspired Cecil Rhodes imperialist ambitions”. He quotes Ruskin from an 1870 speech: “this is what she must do or perish: she must found colonies… Read more »

“Great men do not play stage tricks with the doctrines of life and death: only little men do that,” wrote John Ruskin.

This is the one and only reference to John Ruskin in Mr. Curtin’s essay. It’s very apt in the context it’s used. Surely it’s not necessary to eschew everything ever said or written by anyone who has less than sterling qualities 100% of the time.

Besides which, interest in the occult hardly disqualifies someone from further consideration. Indeed, given much of your commentary, one could argue that you have considerable interest in the occult. Does that mean we should always skim past your comments regardless how prescient they may be?

As soon as you deal with motivation, manipulation, psychology (!), you cannot avoid transcendence.

Darwin denied the monotheistic worldview, and Blavatsky explicitly sought a spirituality compatible with his teaching, because people seek reasons and justifications, and material science cannot provide that.

Darwin’s teachings thus advocated a scientifically random and meaningless world. Blavatsky and her successor Annie Besant sought and found the suitability for this in the polytheism of Egypt and India respectively.

Polytheism, in contrast to monotheism, does not represent an ordered world, but one that is affected by the power struggles of various deities, about which deceased people can tell more because they belong to this spirit world.

Superstitions in the form of inconsistent models inevitably belong to a disintegrated science. The preachers of the New Age are also appearing more and more in the so-called resistance, in search of people who are looking for support.

Well, inconsistent models, like the wave-particle duality of light. Formally, you can declare everything consistent, if the model is only complicated enough. I mean, what this Weinstein (something like that) guy who’s big on ZeroHedge has done with his unification of general relativity and quantum mechanics or what those M-theory people are doing… give me a break! It doesn’t impress me much.

My argument is that our kind of science cannot be capable of grasping reality. Therefore, with its very limited horizon, it can only mess around and create even greater destruction with each new ‘solution’.

The theory of everything will not exist, because science is suited for it like a fork for saving the world. So not at all.

The real science is not invented by humans. It is the planet, the universe … calling it 42 is NOT the answer.

Monotheism of the biblical kind was created by the banksters who needed it for world domination. It certainly helped. It’s importance has faded as everyone realized the banksters had become omnipotent. Polytheistic India is Israel’s largest customer for arms. It happened after the pro Palestinian Gandhi’s were liquidated.

It is well known that many have tampered with the Bible over the centuries, as well as the Vedas and the Laoteking. It is also known that these were not only wise, but often highly earthly power interests.

What you claim here goes beyond that. Why should it have been attractive for moneyed people to invent one god instead of the widespread polytheism, a god who forbids their dirty tricks and usury, whose statements are completely contrary to their interests?

It is about time you brought arguments and evidence for your so far often repeated but insubstantial assertion.

You’ll know all about the Society for Psychical Research, I daresay, Ed? Been a member have you? I have. And I can tell you that their interests go right across the whole field of paranormal events, and blend seamlessly into modern high-quality, strictly scientific, experimental psi-research, which demonstrates – again and again for anyone who’s got what it takes actually to look at hard evidence and go where it leads – that the paranormal faculty of the living mind is as real as anything else, and that it includes both ESP: the direct getting of information about ANYTHING by intuitive perception (practiced properly!); and PK: the direct manipulating of physical events with unbending intent (of the mind). Worthy subjects for serious study – for those who’ve got what it takes to face down their own psi-aversion (which we ALL have, as a matter of standard human psychology) and persevere with… Read more »

and blend seamlessly into modern high-quality, strictly scientific, experimental psi-research This is an attempt to make science, thus genented, the master of that which completely eludes it. Once it investigated concrete material relationships. Then, however, it began to indirectly tap reality with statistics, which was the point at which science turned away from scientificity and became self-referential, began to masturbate. Calculation replaced understanding, and capitulation to the inability of science to deal with causes was replaced by the self-evidence of tautology. I consider this superstition and find it ridiculous. Not because I deny transcendence. I deny the claim and the ability of mathematics and statistics to find real explanations. It’s analogous to Covid: someone says there’s a deadly disease going around and ‘proves’ it with statistics and individual case histories. I, on the other hand, carefully open the door and see if there are people writhing in convulsions and lying… Read more »

Perhaps, perhaps not, it doesn’t matter, in any case they would profit from it.

My point is that these powers are not a function of will, but a function of harmony, if you like, for lack, well, not for actual lack, for avoidance of another term. If they were a function of will, then natural selection would have already spread them to ubiquiousness.

Speaking of B Movies – The Trump Show writers have outdone themselves in the last few weeks to maintain market share, with their all new Trump in jeopardy story line. According to sources at the Psyop Entertainment Network, Trump’s contract to play the ex-President includes a no arrest clause, so red and blue fans might be disappointed to learn Season 3 won’t include a prison set. But don’t give up all hope. We’ve heard the Network has offered to build penthouse prison at 1 Central Park West, and would only require Trump’s presence 2 hours per week on set. Their offer includes a 25 million dollar salary bump for every day “served,” and an agreement to pick up the cost of security at the Mar-a-lago Club to ensure no photos are snapped of Trump on the links, while supposedly serving time in an NYC jail. Stay tuned…

“They are profoundly important and shatter the official versions of those events”

They would be “profoundly important” only if they instigated a major pushback from the entirety of the population who would get pissed off at how they’re being fucked with and exterminated the motherfuckers in charge.

Frankly, I don’t foresee anything like that happening, especially not in response to yet another truth revealing book, regardless how truth revealing it is. People are subjugated sheeple conditioned to further auto-condition themselves to accept any horseshit shoveled down their throats.

Hence, truth revealing books are useless because they don’t address the problem, namely the obedient sheepleness. Uncovering from yet another angle all the underhanded stuff perpetrated by the malevolent scheming cunts is useless because NOBODY GIVES A SHIT.

Thus, the question is – HOW TO MAKE PEOPLE LESS OF A SHEEPLE?

Howard

There is already in place a tried and true method of making people “less of a sheeple”: kill them all, every last one of them. And they will no longer be “sheeple.”

And there is a splendid vaccine developed just for that very purpose.

Short of killing people, if you think there’s a way to get them to stop looking for some little way – no matter how small – to profit off the government’s crimes, then it’s time to stop and review your thought process.

Kurt, I also wanted to say (but didn’t have time earlier – the dog comes before the forum) that the whole – and I mean THE WHOLE – idea of Truth is Truth itself. Truth does not exist for any purpose extraneous to itself.

Influencing people is wonderful – but it’s strictly a bonus of Truth, nothing more. In a world swimming in lies, Truth is a lifeline for those who might be in danger of sinking (i.e., mistaking the lies themselves for truth and honesty).

But as far as those who refuse to see anything but what’s been plopped down right in front of them, then no, Truth is of no value whatsoever. But that unfortunate circumstance of human nature certainly is not important enough to quell the Truth.

Those who believe lies should never – NEVER – be the ultimate arbiters of Truth.

I have a little more experience with totalitarianism than you. I grew up in a totalitarian country and had to endure the shit for some time before I defected the fuck out of there. The vast majority of people “knew the Truth” and were yapping about in vain every night in their favorite pub, where they drowned their chagrin in beer and cheap booze, and then got up in the morning and trekked to the factory to sweat blood for the establishment. These books about the Truth and the incredulous debates about them are a modern reincarnation of the very same thing. You want freedom, you gotta go and get it, not yap… Read more »

The age old dilemma: being free and knowing nothing vs. knowing much and being enslaved.

“Oh I’d rather be free!” most would say. But how can you be free if you don’t know anything? How would you even know you’re free if you didn’t know what freedom was – and wasn’t?

Interesting question. The FRG bought the GDR in 1989 with the consent of the Allies and exploited it. The effect today is that many East Germans hate the West Germans. Many of them, you will be surprised to hear, long for the old SU back and Honecker, so they support Putin and China. A few – especially those who were expelled from Prussia – reject the FRG and the GDR, consider themselves doubly deceived. Nevertheless, few are Nazis, but very German and also xenophobic. That is my experience of it. I could not find that the Ossis reject totalitarian systems, on the contrary. West Germans tend to be spoiled and fearful. After Hitler taught them that they had to be obedient in order to conform to his racial ideal, the American behaviourists taught them that they had to follow the Allied government in order to stop being Nazis. Before Bismarck (!), there was no such thing as Germany for about 400 years. It was a battlefield for foreign interests – France, Spain, Italy, Habsburg, Prussia, Russia, Great Britain. Bismarck united 40 individual German states under Prussian leadership to put an end to this. So far not a lasting model of success.

Hence my answer: the rift. And with that, perseverance under constantly changing conditions.

I never liked history too much, regrettably. I mostly know history by way of music, or rather ethnomusicology.

In that regard, it’s interesting to note that the folk music in Central Europe, quite varied and modal in nature, was steamrolled by tonal music, a German invention (especially Bach), which converted everything into tonal, i.e. tonic, subdominant, dominant shit. The farther you go from Germany, the more preserved the original modal varieties are.

There is an interesting description of that in Kundera’s Joke:

Well, I was wondering about the historical hangups of a nation. Underlying, subconscious sentiments that exist within an entire nation, an entire culture. What they are among Germans.

Take Quebeckers for example (French Canadians). They have a massive historical hangup from being subjugated by the English. It’s built into the culture and is inherited from generation to generation. They constantly resist.

Take Czechs, they have a historical aversion to more powerful nations that have been fucking them over for eons. A half of the population deal with it by deflecting, the other by collaborating.

So on, so forth..
