Why does the introduction of Vigano here conjure up inklings of Trump, in red ? Is that just me, or a free association. Here in our local parishes I would guess all the serious Vigano promoters are all serious Trump supporters. Seriously, they left flyers on the car windows in the parking lot of the San Diego Cathedral. Several years ago. They’re still upset. Unless of course they’re astroturfed. You just never know.

No, the actions and policies you highlight are centrist actions of people like Clinton, Blair, Brown and Starmer who penetrated the supposedly left-leaning party in the US and UK simply to promote hard-right economic policies to save end-stage capitalism and effectively evict ‘the left’ from both traditions (Sanders and Corbyn notwithstanding)

That’s not fascist? That “left” that has sold out their working class base so thoroughly that Trump was seen as the lesser of two evils?? That left that has promised for generations to fix all the ills of capitalism, while taking big “campaign donations” from the same big corporate they babble on endlessly about? The left that bailed out the banks, repeatedly, while telling you they are so sorry you lost everything to a rapacious industry that funds their “fight” against it?
