It’s always funny to see Covid in the news, and funnier still to see supposedly normal humans reacting to it as if it means something.
An historical curiosity. Like seeing someone riding a penny-farthing.
But a shocking number of these people do exist, a trip to Covid-twitter will teach you that. There are, apparently, a surprising number of penny farthings still on the road.
Maybe those Japanese soldiers who never realized World War II was over is a better comparison.
Anyway, we have a new variant and a “unique” symptom to discuss. The variant is called XFG, nicknamed “stratus”, and the super unique special symptom?
A hoarse voice.
Yes, that’s it.
I shouldn’t have to tell you that a “hoarse voice” is not a unique symptom. Literally any respiratory infection can make your voice hoarse, as can allergies.
But what’s funnier is that they’re not even definitively claiming it is unique, to quote The Indy:

This comes fresh off “nimbus” (they decided to switch to clouds from Greek letters, I think to avoid the “pi variant”, but we’ll never know), which had the unique “sore throat” symptom. They tried to call it “razor throat” to be dramatic, but it’s just a sore throat.

This time of year my boss comes into work on most Mondays unable to speak above a whisper… because he screams his throat dry at the football stadium on Sunday.
The climate change narative has run it’s course and failed to convince the majority of the people in most countries. In election after election, in America, Germany, Austria, France, Argentina, and others, the parties that refused to fall for the claims by scientists that the whole earth was getting warmer from harmless CO2 have won more and more followers. The people have spoken and the climate change movement is dead.
The only ones who believed it were the minority of college-educated, upper middle-class intelectually-oriented victims of years of higher education who had spent years in classrooms soaking up the indoctrination that science is the only way to know what is happening and that scientists and experts are infalible. The working class masses who lacked that indoctrination did not fall for the doom-saying pontifications of the scientists and have voted overwhelmingly for the parties that stand for freedom, common sense, and basic human rights.
Climate change is no longer an issue. The voters have decided the scientists are wrong and it is not happening. In America, Trump has fired hundreds of scientists and even if some future administration re-hires them, they have been served notice that if they value their jobs they had better not keep churning out studies showing there is a danger of climate change. And with Federal funding for universities sharply reduced there will be a lot fewer scientists in the future to cause more scientific reports to that effect.
Ande that is good for the environment. With no more government funding for science that shows there is a grave danger from burning coal and oil, there will be a lot less demand to build more nuclear reactors to make up for the abolishment of current electricity generating plants. There will also be an end to the fantasmagorical plans of scientists to pollute the upper atmosphere to block out sunlight to cool the earth to prevent the global warming the scientists believe in. So, in spite of other policies that are bad for the environment, Trump may have saved the world from the two worst environmental disasters possible, the ones the scientists want to cause.
This repudiation of science is a direct result of the 3 years of lies by the scientists in support of a global medical dictatorship worse than any dictatorship in history. For 3 years, scientists kept telling people nonsense and scaring them with false claims, theatening dire consequences if anyone dared disobey orders. In the end, they failed. There was a lot more resistence than they had expected. And the brave politicians who stood up to the scientists have now been proven right. There was no real danger from the immaginary disease the scientists claimed existed and science has now been discredited in the eyes of the public and nobody will ever trust science again.
When science displaced religion at the time of the Enlightenment, about 200 years ago, it was an improvement, but in the last 100 years science has taken on many of the characteristics of religion. It has become authoritarian, heirarchial, and dogmatic, with no tolerance for dissent from an orthodoxy regardless of evidence. The non-scientists who believed in it came mostly from the upper middle class university graduates who had sat through years of indoctrination, obtained degrees that depended on acceptance by scientists for their validity, and lacked financial independence to enable them to challenge the accepted orthodoxy. The working class masses, with much less personal history of indoctrination and less investment in the system, retained more capacity for independent thought and as a result did not uncritically accept the official pronouncements of a new deadly virus or an impending climate disaster.
And the recent election outcomes are the result.
Organised dogma displaced freelance witch-docters. The biggest warlords (monarchy) displaced organied dogma. Big landlords came up next, followed by democrats and revolutionaries. Then, it was the turn of science.
Big money got to science too, just as it subverted the others. Even politics, “social”, psychiatry and eonomics are respected sciences.

There are those who really don’t have a clue, of course. However, I have first-hand evidence that some do know it’s all a sham but keep going back for their annual shots and boosters. I’m of the firm belief that that older gen in particular are afraid of their doctors!

I once knew a woman who told me that she always gets the annual flu shots plus the pneumonia shots (who knew these existed?), and every time they give her a whopping case of bronchitis and often pneumonia requiring hospitalisation.

With some older folk, it’s a case of “better safe than sorry”. I have a friend whose a dedicated naturopath, but she nevertheless gets her flu shot and her covid booster because she’s at high risk for heart attack and why not?

Four days ago I received a phone call from the Surgery I’m registered with (but never use, due to refusing to use the Medical Establishment). The woman said “I’m calling to ask if you’d like a pneumonia vaccine”. Hahaha!! I’m sure you can guess the sort of response she received from me.
What’s even more disgusting is that, very early on in the [non-existent] ‘covid’ period, after having received phone calls requesting that I make an appointment to have ‘my’ ‘covid’ jab, I made it very clear to them that I’d NOT be having any ‘covid’ injections, and even sent several of the doctors in the Surgery an information pack re. the medical fraud of ‘vaccines’. I was told some time after that by a young receptionist there that they’d put a not on my medical records saying that I refuse ALL ‘vaccines’. Which I most definitely do!!
So why did the woman phone me, asking if I’d like (haha!! ‘like’!) a pneumonia ‘vaccine’?
I received a call from a bloke from the Surgery the next day, claiming that I’d been ‘verbally aggressive’ to the woman the day before. I reiterated to him the above, and told him that I’d most definitely not be having any ‘vaccines’. I told him that I’m very proud to have been a properly-informed anti-vaxxer for 35+ years. His response? He very foolishly said “But you might change your mind. One day you might want a vaccine for something”. Well, again I’m sure you can hazard a guess at my response.
Later that day, I sent him an email containing a representative list of books on the fraud [and dangers] of ‘vaccines’, and ditto a representative list of excellent articles online covering the same. The latter including articles containing quotes by wised-up doctors over the past 100+ years re. the evil of ‘vaccines’.
In summer 2020 I had to get a blood test before my cancer treatment (another scam I eventually realised). I was supposed to wear a mask. I didn’t. I spoke to receptionist quite reasonably and showed her my exemption certificate which I had made.
I managed to get the test done without masking in the end.
The next day I suppose it was, I was rung by the head of Pathology lab, a lady called Kate who said words to the effect that i was rude to the staff. We had a reasonable conversation.
I am of the opinion though that the staff had had lobotomies.

Yes I think you are right, I have wee check online and the expiry dates are on the boxes containing the Covid vaccines – would I put it past them to change the boxes and keep the Covid vaccines, no I wouldn’t, cynical old me.

No one needs to take the flu jab, around 10 years ago my mum took the flu jab 2 years in a row, she got terrible bouts of flu each time! Not taken once since nor the covid jab and she is a very healthy 90 year old! Many of her friends have not been so lucky. I’ve noticed locally that deaths seem to be accelerating. At a recent funeral someone mentioned that 4 of their friends had died in the last 24hrs! All between 65 and 75. I do wonder whether they are killing people off in different ways, through different medications as many people I know who were ardent covidians quietly stopped taking the jab a couple of years ago. Or perhaps the damage is already done.
As far as I’ aware taking the flu jab, doesn’t stop you from catching the flu, its meant to lessen the symptoms a wee bit, that’s what I’ve been told.
It will give you the flu and its symptoms. They don’t us this to protect big pharma and NHS jobs etc.
