Hundreds gathered [on May 26] to demand increased wages and higher social standards for Ukrainian workers, as well at making a stand against the ‘1,200,000 jobs’ that have been lost during the last year in Kiev on Wednesday. The protest, organised by the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, saw representatives and supporters gather outside the Cabinet of Ministers building.
