You may have thought that the refugees pouring out of Iraq were fleeing ISIS. You may have thought that the people braving the sea voyage from Libya were fleeing the failed state that results from a NATO humanitarian bombing campaign. You may have thought that the Syrian people were running from a civil war, started by jihadis and mercenaries on a Saudi, Qatari and American pay-roll.
But you were wrong. Russia and China did it. Because they’re mean.
