Here’s a Freudian insight into the mind of the average Guardian journalist. Although today’s article headlined: “UK warship will be used to ‘board, seize and divert’ refugee boats” was filed in the ‘refugees’ section, the front page link was placed under Crime, as can be seen from the detail taken from the full screenshot.
Hard to pick who exactly is committing the crime here. Will the British warship ordered to ‘board, seize and divert ships’ in international waters off North Africa be committing a crime? Or perhaps it’s the British government who’s committing one for ordering an act of piracy on the high seas?
Then again, maybe it’s the Guardian.
