Opinion: ISIL and its supporters must face international trial

An image released by ISIL in Iraq.

Vladimir Platov writes in Neo Eastern Outlook:

International media has been actively discussing the recent publication of the British edition of Mirror Online featuring shocking footage of Islamic State (ISIL) militants gunning down a total of 200 children, with their hands tied behind their backs. It should be noted that it is not the first time that militants executed their captives, but such massive public executions haven’t yet been published on the Internet. Although there’s no way to establish the veracity of the footage, it’s but one case in a series of documented violence and criminal activities of the terrorist “Islamic State.” It is this very group that is not ashamed of its twisted fantasies of abusing and killing civilians, which also tries to establish prominence through these very acts of violence.

ISIL militants have repeatedly uploaded footage of executions of their prisoners on the Internet. In some of those videos, captives are run over by a tank, or dragged behind a speeding car, some victims were burned alive, blown up, beheaded or had their throats cut. It’s clear that we are witnessing a barbaric rendition of the Nazi’s atrocities, even a bold attempt to surpass them.

The same uncontrolled violence has been applied to those ISIL militants that have fled the field of battle, as was the case with the recent execution of deserters in the northeastern Iraqi city of Baiji.

There’s little doubt that the so-called Islamic State, a self-proclaimed, unrecognized quasi-state with its Sharia “capital” in the occupied Syrian city of Raqqa, is one of the most significant threats to global security. In just three years these terrorists have managed to capture vast areas in Iraq and Syria. In addition, they’ve been trying to expand their influence into the countries of North Africa, namely in Libya, Central Asia, the Caucasus and other regions. According to various estimates, in June 2015, the Islamic State occupied the territory of some 300,000 square kilometers with a population of around 8 million people, mainly composed of Sunnis. Back in May of this year ISIL controlled 50% of Syria’s territory and 40% of Iraq’s territory.

Neither Al-Qaeda, nor any other known terrorist group has such a complex organizational structure. In fact, the Islamic State has a lot of attributes of a real state, with its own income, social support programs, propaganda machine and rigid control over its occupied lands.

As for the growing need for weapons that the Islamic State faces as it expands, there’s a considerable body of evidence suggesting that it is using US army munitions, stolen from Iraqi stockpiles and taken from Syrian opposition forces supplied by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the US. After the capture of Palmyra and Idlib, the Islamic State has acquired tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missiles and heavy artillery – they have even gotten their hands on American MANPADS – portable anti-air missile systems.

The close ties that the US and its allies have with the Islamic State have been reported by various media sources from around the world, while providing a large amount of evidence that not only testify to the involvement of the White House in the creation of ISIL, but Washington’s participation in the training of its militants. In particular, this statement can be exemplified by the publication of a report drafted by prominent  US political pundit and essayist Noam Chomsky in the Egyptian Al-Ahram newspaper back in November 2014, where he stated that ISIL is the direct result of US and Saudi Arabian policies.

This fact is confirmed by statements of Iraqi authorities released in March, according to which they have arrested three American military advisers that assisted ISIL in the preparation of military operations in Iraq. There is also evidence regarding the involvement of US intelligence in the arming of ISIL militants. For these purposes, military transport aircraft, flying from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, have been used.

In November 2014 the Iraqi Intelligence Service released an official report which stated that ISIL was being assisted in the fight against Iraqi security forces by the US, carried out in the form of weapons crates being dropped by US military transport planes to ISIL fighters.

In June 2014 Aaron Klein in an article for «World Net Daily» reported that ISIL militants were trained in Jordan in 2012 under the supervision of American instructors, whose activities were strictly classified.

The conservative organization Judicial Watch published declassified reports of the US State Department and the US Department of Defense, presenting evidence that in 2012 the intelligence services and the US administration deliberately assisted ISIL terrorists, in hopes that this terrorist group would help them topple the legitimate Syrian government and assist in other political adventures of the White House, similar to the well-known plot in which the US provided support to Al-Qaeda in its confrontation with the Soviet military in Afghanistan during the 1980s.

As a result of the lawlessness and terror imposed by the Islamic State on its occupied territories, thousands of civilians have perished, and millions of refugees lost their homes and are now trying to seek refuge in the countries of the Middle East, Turkey and Europe. In their brutality, ISIL militants have already surpassed Nazi Germany’s war criminals, who had subsequently faced trial on October 1, 1946 in Nuremberg to receive justice for their barbaric acts.

So what is preventing the international community from establishing a similar tribunal on the basis of international law, that will pass its judgement on the criminal activities of the Islamic State and those countries and political forces that have been supporting them?

Why is this article entirely set out in 20 pt type?
And why is it here, a forum for press watchdogging?

  2. Reblogged this on wgrovedotnet and commented:

In time, providing Russia, Iran and Hezbollah can defeat the US/Israel/ME Alliance, we may well be able to place many of the guilty whether US/IS/ME on trial with those whose faces can be depicted accurately being registered with Interpol and a reward offered to all those who would hide. Money buys you everything (except loyalty).

First of all, Vladimir Platov’s Neo Eastern Outlook links to this Mirror story.

ISIS savages ‘gun down 200 Syrian children’ claim campaigners after horrifying mass execution video emerges

As ever we have the following caveats:

… of what is claimed to show ISIS thugs gunning down 200 Syrian children in a savage mass execution.

The video, which has been circulated by a Yemen-based anti-ISIS activist …

The killers then open fire with automatic rifles. The raw footage is too horrifying to be shown

The footage has not been verified, but one campaign group claims the gunmen are Islamic State fighters.

The video, which has been online for at least a year, sparked revulsion when it was shared widely this week.

So, as ever, we have yet another media horror story, which is alleged to be about an event a year ago and which is, as per, “unverified”.

The day that we react to a Daily Mirror “story” is the day those who still actually exercise their five senses, might as well give up thinking altogether

As the earlier poster said, very astutely, if the world had been paying attention back in the day, when the main illusion / deception of 9/11 was produced, then perhaps there may have been half a chance of “arresting” the further development of the Saudi / Zion / Masonic NWO world domination plan.

You need to regain control of your five senses and judge these “media stories” for what they are, – atrocity propaganda.

Also, don’t be taken in by the apparent “relief” offered by Putin. Make no mistake, he is on board with the NWO as this post clearly illustrates.

You may like to appraise yourself of the “ISIS fundamentals” here:

The level of deception is the bar to our understanding, by design, naturally.

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

  4. Mostly pre ISIS. We prefer to call them moderate rebels^BND533^YY^GB&shad=s_0035&gct=ds&apn_ptnrs=^AG5&d=533-274&atb=sysid%3D533%3Aappid%3D274%3Auid%3D735168d4ad44bb7b%3Auc2%3D827%3Atypekbn%3D1.1%3Asrc%3Dds%3Ao%3DAPN10644%3Atg%3D&p2=^AG5^BND533^YY^GB
Iv’e been following this war for over 3 years,, initially i was open minded about it,, although even by this time i really didn’t trust anything our presstitute media presented as facts,, hence why i did some digging
At first when the horror stories started to unfold,, i thought Jesus Christ if our government knew what was going on they’d never support this,, how stupid of me,,, If i knew so did they.. In the early years of the conflict people who were from the so called first world countries felt the same …we simply thought our government didn’t know.. how stupid of us.. You see all these atrocities were being put on up on social media by these various radical Islamic groups.. they were bragging about them.. so we had real time proof.. even the presstitute media had to show some of it grudgingly

The only reason the MSM are showing these atrocities now, v ISIS is because they want us Militarily involved in Syria,, nothing stirs the plebs more than the good old atrocity I believe that now the Russians and Iranians Iraqui’s and allies are driving back the auk armies they are in fact defeating NATO’S and their gulf allies first line of defense. We want in Syria to save these people not destroy them they were meant to rampage around the caucuses with our help and push up to Russias borders,, them on 1 side Ukraine the other.
They have conceeded a huge amount of territory i Syria over the past few weeks.. it’s set to get even worse

“So what is preventing the international community from establishing a similar tribunal on the basis of international law, that will pass its judgement on the criminal activities of the Islamic State and those countries and political forces that have been supporting them?”

you said it yourself in the article, the ones youre asking to set up a tribunal are the same ones supporting/committing the crimes.

you really think a tribunal is the answer where the legislature, prosecutor, the judge are all corrupt and complicit?

there is no turning back, the point of no return was passed way back, you shouldve seen one of the bigger signs around about 9/11… can’t even get a proper tribunal for that..

  6. Good points about the disgusting double standards.

But I’m far from convinced we should accept the meme of ISIS as an independent super-villain state. Not only is such an entity supremely implausible, for all the reasons I’ve gone into in various articles, but this is exactly the message coming out of Washington most of the time, and that’s reason enough to examine it closely before purchase.

The fog of war is so great right now no one truly knows exactly how far ISIS’ reach really goes. How much of its alleged control and brutality is simply part of the psy–op, and how much is real. They’re lunatics and mercenaries. They have murdered lots of people. But they are also a Washington-sponsored media phenomenon, and several of their alleged atrocity videos have been claimed to be fakes, by western media and “experts.” This is a highly bizarre state of affairs, and one we can’t ignore.

All we know is the US is both supporting ISIS on the ground and promoting frantic fear porn of ISIS in the media. This is a strange and complex strategy, and it makes obtaining the truth almost impossible. We need to keep reminding ourselves that , even more than usual, 90% of what we hear is someone’s spin.

ISIS resembles (in a deranged way) an art project founded by two Swedish musicians which takes the form of a pretend nation: the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargland. I still have a KEV passport myself. This nation, existing in digital form only, has a constitution, various ministries, embassies and consulates, and ambassadors.

Slovenian art collective Neue Slowenische Kunst has a similar project called the NSK State. Again this is a virtual state with its own congress and media.

It’s possible that ISIS could not exist in the way it does without the Internet and virtual reality.

Any idea what happened to Shami Witness (Mehdi Masroor Biswas) ? He was arrested and I haven’t noticed any mention of him being convicted… He did seem to be a ‘real’ part of the recruitment of Western or non-Arabic speaking jihadist and began spreading very nasty sectarian views. I talked to him on twitter a few times and tried to question him on some things and challenge him on his support for terribly violent acts. He once told me he was quite fine with children being involved in the violence because he had ‘killed chickens when he was young’……strange guy. Sometimes you would see him being teased because of his lack of Arabic language. Austin Tice is another person I wonder about (partly why I got a twitter account for a bit). It seemed to me that Michael Weiss was somewhat his handler. Weiss also put up a strange tweet a bit before the Ghouta chemical attack, something along the lines of ‘Keep a watch on the South’… also predated one of the new ‘moderate militias’ entering the war from Jordan or Golan….I am not sure now.

        • I don’t see any reason to believe the Ghouta attack was a hoax. Are you confusing it with the very questionable incident report in the BBC documentary ‘Saving Syria’s Children?”

            • The one to the David Icke forum? Yes, and followed some links there also. I didn’t see anything directly alleging why we should view the Ghouta incident as a fake. Maybe I missed the important part.

      • is it possible to go on Twitter to recruit terrorist child-murderers? Considering people seem to get banned for very small offences, I’m surprised to know that.

What do you do when the self-appointed “world’s policeman” turns out to be just another bent cop, letting things happen on purpose to justify their own continued existence?

  8. Jennifer Hor says

One has to ask who would benefit from the creation of ISIL, and what those people or organisations would gain, that they or their puppets in Western governments and militaries would go so far as to finance, arm and equip such a vicious and deranged entity to the scale and complexity that they do. These puppet-masters have no respect for the institutions, values and principles of Western governments and democracy, that they are prepared to trash such structures and threaten the existence of Western civilisation itself. Neither do they have much respect for Islam and what it stands for, but they are prepared to seize and manipulate Western stereotypes about Islam and Muslim peoples to create a monster that mocks Islam, discredits it among its believers and instill fear in the general public at large.

For all its brutality and vicious ferocity, ISIL itself is a puppet and the governments and their various intel and military agencies themselves, and the international media cheerleading squad, are puppets. Puppets and slaves of a psychotic nature but puppets and slaves nevertheless. Only when we find out who their masters are, will we know the answer to the question posed by Vladimir Platov.

  9. Roger says

A simplistic answer to your question about why the international community is silent – except for Russia and friends. Blackmail. International US organised blackmail.

    • Agree with Catte. Most likely the US and it’s myriad allies all thought that by destabilizing the non Pro Washington ME countries they would be able to halt Russia’s economic and trade expansion in favour of the western cohorts and monstrous extremist governments like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi and Turkey. It’s become a bit like the little Dutch boy trying to halt the flood with his finger and now the violence has gotten out of control and the US/allies are running around like headless chickens with completely incoherent strategies still clinging to the hope that they can have their cake and eat it. Namely, be a thorn in Russia side, along the lines of “well if we can’t have all we desired neither can Putin” and make the land grab and stake a claim to the oil in both Iraq and Syria. As long as they can with the Arab Spring countries aid, keep putting terrorists into the country it is a drain on Putin’s resources and he cannot maintain it indefinitely, or so they hope. Whose money will run out first, the US has been broke for years and they are living on fumes from their petro dollar and now Saudi are going broke. I truly believe that the US will carry out another false flag war against Russia using the EU as the muppets living in ash and radiation rather than concede any kind of defeat. They can’t afford to because their economy is dead. Not sure there is any sanity left among those who call the shots, with perhaps, the exception of Putin.
