Great Post
Thanks for sharing this, which I have watched two or three times. Video is pretty much what it claims to be, showing the fear, horror and also the love shared by people in Damascus at this time, focusing on Sameer’s own experiences and feelings.
For anyone who has been to Damascus it has a great sense of place, with lots of shots of the Old City, including people buying icecream at the famous Bakdash icecream parlour in Souq al Hamadiyeh.
I’ll just remind people that you have already written about another wonderful video about Damascus: https://off-guardian.org/2015/12/01/video-a-syrian-soldier-speaks/
