When I read the background to the Julian Assange case and what is happening to him now, I wonder whether during the last four years while Ny has forced him to remained confined to the Equadorian embassy in London, with no opportunity to discuss his case with the Swedish prosecutor,.. if this expanse of time has allowed the secret maneouverings of the US govt and the UK govt to allow him to be arrested and deported to the US the minute he sets foot outside of the embassy even if the Swedish charges are dropped, which they probably will be. Is there any hope for any of us–American citizens or citizens across the wider world–against the long arms of the MedUSA monster?

      @ Beth D,

Perhaps if you try to be ‘democratic’ outside of a ‘free speech’ zone, the answer to your question will be pretty clear, pretty soon?

I really wish I could paint a more positive picture, but with the HRC sponsored crayons I’ve got at the moment, I’m stuck in a negative rut of black&White-ism…
