Strange. I had no trouble viewing the video even though I have nothing to do with FB or its ilk. Maybe the caption needs amending?

Same here – you don’t need FB.
Love Kirby, by the way – big star on RT, regular side-splitting stand-up routines.

Kirby is an admiral. This tells you all you need to know about the US armed forces and the quality of the officers that lead them.

I’m not sure what it is about John’s routine, but it’s sort of funny, overspeakingly speaking.
He’s an inept liar who knows everyone knows he’s ineptly lying, but still he soldiers on, oddly enough, like the good little soldier man that he is, as expected by his paymasters, struggling hard to comport himself with a shred of dignity, but somehow he can never just quite manage it, as in this instance. Again. Especially right at the end, where, with his usual and contrived deadpan sincerity, ‘frankly and again’, he encourages you “. . .to go flip on CNN today[!]” “And look for yourself . . .” For yourself — because in Amerika, as everyone knows, in the land of the free, where propaganda is non-existent, you, and no one else but you, must ultimately make up your own mind “. . . at the imagery that’s coming out of Aleppo, by a reputable (sic) news organization. It’s all there for you to see.” See.
(Oh, yes, Indeed. It is all there for you to see, John. For what you won’t see are the Syrians dancing in the streets, which of course is in itself somewhat revealing, since it helps you to really see all that there is to see about CNN. For that we thank you, John.)
(John Kirby: State Department resident comedian. Not quite funny, but he tries hard.)

Wouldn’t it have been possible to provide another link that doesn’t force one to access such a compromised site?

Well, for whatever reason, I can’t view the video even though I’m logged in to FB ( I hope I don’t catch anything while logged in, you know, not a computer virus, but a mental one, something akin to Kirby’s knuckle dragging ideological affliction(s). And just to gripe about it a little: I set up an account just so I could watch this. What a disappointment. :’-( ).
But I do sense the depth of the bullshit from all of the comments, and as someone recently wrote somewhere, the deeper the pile, the bigger the lie. I can just imagine. But it would probably be more entertaining if I didn’t have to.
On the other hand, reading all of your comments, at least those posted so far, has been a great delectation, as usual.
Kisses,
–N
BTW: I hope OffG can work out a better link to this promised gem. Hugs to the team! I still love you gals and think about you all of the time. (I hope that last remark comes off as I intend it, and not as it might otherwise be interpreted.)

I’m getting increasingly cynical. I think all this public display of deep and sincere feelings for the people of Aleppo, is just what it seems… display designed to show the world how sensitive one is, how full of empathy and civilised values… compared to the evil, barbaric Russians who wantonly and deliberately target hospitals and slaughter innocent civilians. So different from us, when we reached out our hands in friendship and hope to the people of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and now Syria.

False Flag, anyone? Or the real thing, since we’ve made millions of enemies since the 9/11 False Flag. The article says Israel will be in danger from these shoulder-fired missiles, but that’s a lie, but Europe and the USA are in for some trouble.

Congress Votes To Give Jihadists Anti-aircraft Missiles
“Congress for the first time authorized the Department of Defense to provide vetted-Syrian rebels with anti-aircraft missiles. The provision is contained within the $619 billion Fiscal Year 2017 National Defense Authorization Act, which passed the Senate on Dec. 8 and the House on Dec. 2.

Don’t you just love Congress, they have no money for infrastructure, for clean water in Flint or for Veterans support – but they can allocate $619bn for arms – some of which is destined for arming ‘vetted’ terrorists. With anti-aircraft missiles. To shoot down Russians.
Anyone would think they are trying to start a war. Before January 20th.

Anyone would be right! There are very perverse individuals in charge in Washington and President Obama allowed them to be. Now they pretty well control the nukes and will continue to do so until Trump gains control of the whole apparatus. Then we will just have to wait and see if the level of violence in the Word subsides or stays as is. Obama should face charges for war crimes!

If George Dubya Bush, and Tony (The Liar) Blair have avoided being charged with War Crimes. then Obama will also avoid charges, and as the ICC disintegrates before our eyes, where will the trial be held?

Exactly, Tony Bliar was exonerated by a 439-70 vote in a lame duck attempt at censure in Parliament. He is still a member of the Privy Council and is manoeuvring behind the scenes to re-enter politics to ‘save us from ourselves’ over Brexit (read: save the Globalist agenda.)
This was expected. What bothers me is that David Cameron (who is currently ‘doing a Blair’ – gathering ‘kickback’ via his new ‘speaking and writing’ career) has received little or no censure for his joint Sarkozy/Killary Libyan venture. This is probably because few British servicemen were killed – but the richest country in North Africa was plundered and rendered feudal – for oil and gold. This much at least is understandable (in terms of greed) – but this also ‘let the cork out of the bottle’ in terms of migration. I’m not anti-immigrant, but it seems to me that we drive the wars that drive the migration and we opened the channel into Europe. I hope it is not racist to detect a destabilization plan? Enabled by Cameron. Without a peep from the iliberal reformers (what was that about Copenhagen Syndrome?)
And whatever ones take on Qhadafi (he was ‘our man in Benghazi’) – lets not forget it was all predicated on #fakenews.
#LockHimUp. #LockThemAllUp!

“Even if this is the end of the siege in Aleppo, it’s not the end of the war in Syria – it will go on.” The entirely honest and trustworthy United States spokesman, Mr Kirby said.
And on this point, at least, we can believe him. The USA and its western allies will make damned sure that the war goes on in Syria, until they have broken and dismantled that country in accordance with their insane agenda of ‘full-spectrum dominance’ in the ME, and eventually the world.

Yes, at least they will try but Russia isn’t going away and US full spectrum dominance is anathema to them.

It did amuse me that Kirby maintained that the Clinton News Network was “reputable” – that vies for quote of the week so far – tied with “are you incapable of shame” by Samantha Power.

“It is not the end of the war in Syria…” “some fighters have left and disappeared…” “armed opposition members [to] also leave with some of their light weapons…”
Yes Mr Kirby, perhaps you did “overspeak.” Let me interpret for you.
US DIPLOMATIC DOUBLESPEAK DICTIONARY.
Humanitarian Pause – a negotiated interruption in hostilities to allow one side to a) suspend the siege of Mosul; b) suspend the siege of Raqqa; c) waive restrictions on supplying high-end weaponry to terrorists by Executive Order; d) send an expendable subordinate (Ash Carter) on a ‘plausibly deniable’ mission to co-ordinate action; e) send 200 ‘special forces’ to advise on siege tactics; f) assemble a mobile force of 5,000 ‘fighters’; g) guarantee them free passage across the desert; h) seize Palmyra.
Now you know where your ‘fighters’ went, Mr Kirby.

The battle in Aleppo might be won, but the war against Syria continues. Besides, the real Axis of Evil, the USA/Israel/Saudi Arabia have already accomplished much of their goal to neutralize Syria so that it won’t be able to defend itself from further land theft from the greedy Israelis. The Zionists wanted Syria destroyed to clear the way for their fantasy of an Eretz Israel, and that plan is still ongoing, as we will start hearing better and bigger lies about Iran in 2017, since they have to be destroyed for the glory of Israel.

The USA(and that means Israel)’s plans to destroy Syria, have been thwarted by Russia, who, quite frankly, have outsmarted the USA’s Military Industrial Complex, in this fight. I imagine that Russia will come to Iran’s aid if the USA(Israel’s anaesthetised donkey) gets out of the current quagmire.
Mr Putin’s back is against the wall now(with NATO on the Ukraine’s border). He has no option but to fight ‘Anyone’ who attacks Iran. Putin is NOT a man to be messed with.

Yes I agree but now man pads will be used against the Syrian /Russian AF, probably especially in Palmyra as the govt and its allies try to retake it, will bring a new perspective to the war. I wish Russia would declare a no fly zone and shoot any coalition or Israel plane down just for starters…..also John Kirby , just like Samantha Power, are inhuman swine.
