VIDEO: Putin Q&A 2017

For those who missed it, here are all 3+ hours of Russian president Putin’s 2017 live Q&A with the word’s press. This year he took questions from Russian mainstream media, from opposition outlets such as Echo Moscow and from western media agencies. Whatever the shortcomings of the Russian political system may be, we have to remind ourselves that their head of state is prepared to spend several hours answering unscripted questions from potentially hostile journalists. None of our western leaders is prepared to undertake anything even approaching that amount of personal and political risk.

Thanks for posting. I watched about an hour live but my connection is poor for live streaming, this is playing well so I will watch it in sections. I said last year, for me, Putin is one of the few true statesmen/women in the world today.

This yearly Q & A is something I wish other leaders or even governments should emulate especially in our so called democracies.

The US empire of ignorance, avarice and belligerence needs to be Put-in its place.
China and Russia are chomping at the bit.
    The future looks grim.

  3. 3+ hours, no notes, no teleprompter, talking totally contemporaneously, showing he has much more than a grasp on all subjects… What a memory, what an intelligence. I think the man is a genius.

  4. Vladimir Putin can talk on any topic for nearly four hours straight. Treason May blustered in front of a sycophantic invited audience during the election, dodged the Leaders debate, and skulked into the Grenfell memorial today via the backdoor. Need I elaborate?

The only other modern leader who had the intellect and guile to achieve such an open forum was Hugo Chavez. Both He and Putin leave little room for doubt as to the clarity of their vision as leaders.
By comparison, and due to her status as senior White House correspondent, Helen Thomas was allowed to pose the first question at Barak Obama’s initial press conference. Ms Thomas quite simply asked him if there were any countries in the Middle East which possessed nuclear weapons. Of course Obama prevaricated, on a simple yes / no question, so we knew from that point that it was business as usual, and the lies began on the first official statement out of his mouth.

Surely people must realize by now that most of the western “leaders” are just meat puppets. They are mere figureheads, and they just do what they are told to do. This is why it’s such a crisis that Trump was elected in the United States, he hasn’t been groomed for 40 years to become an compliant, docile, meat puppet.
