Is “escaping Twitter moderation” a bad thing?
Max Blumenthal pointed out to us a few days ago that OFFG gets a nice little mention in the Paul Mason emails – apparently we are deeply sus for recommending people join us on Telegram in preference to Twitter.
We assume by “maybe they aren’t obvious to place” Emma means we don’t fit into their binary worldview where everyone who opposes imperialism must be getting paid by Russia or China?
That’s perfect for us. We are always happy to be outside the bi-polar consensus.
Interesting language too – “escape Twitter moderation”. As if “moderation” were a form of legitimate punishment we’re trying to evade!
FYI Emma, what Twitter does isn’t “moderation” it’s CENSORSHIP. And dishonest censorship at that.
Ever since our Twelve Experts piece went viral in 2020 Twitter has slapped a “warning” on all links to our site which implies we could be “spammy” or “dangerous” without actually saying so…
We contacted Twitter to ask for an explanation – why exactly have they concluded we are “dangerous”? – They declined to give any response.

I haven’t got a cellphone, so I don’t care about Twatter or Telegram. What I am concerned about is the MSM speaking as one, no diversity allowed, shoving the compulsory narratives down our throats 24/7. Journalism is lost, and the epithet ’empire of lies’ is, alas, perfectly apt. St Jacinda actually summed up the globalist viewpoint well, though probably not with the implications she intended: ‘We are the single source of Truth.’ (Amen.)
The looming threat is internet censorship. Alternative news sites vary in quality, but at least they vary. How long before sites like this one are shut down? Then what? How will we know anything or will we all just ‘know nothing and be happy’. Ignorance, after all, is bliss.
Personally am suspicious of Telegram gathering everyone’s data, linked to their mobile phone, which you need to register. Grateful to have a private site like OffG to post my comments. Thank you. <3

Does anyone know what happened to globalresearch.ca? They had an estimated 350,000 reads on each article, plus an extraordinary research archive because they’d been online for so many years. I relied on them for the history of so many past conflicts and histories. And now they’re gone.

I had trouble recently with Globalresearch.ca getting host server errors. But I found I could access the site by not going in via the homepage.
With my VPN enabled — which obscures my location — the page generates an error. With it disabled I am able to access it. So it appears they are blocking access from certain locations for whatever reason.
I still find them, even with using Google Penelope, but notice that even typing in their exact name, they’re usually the 6th or 7th entry on my search results and the font is smaller than the other entries on that page. Was looking at them yesterday.
I watched a recent interview with Michel Chossudovsky. He mentioned that GR is getting 70,000 attacks of various kinds per week.
