Russia building “Safe City” surveillance grid

Moscow mayor’s office will collect CCTV data from throughout Russia as part of his friendly total surveillance set-up

Riley Waggaman

You have such a nice face. Would you mind terribly if Sergey Sobyanin, the Techno-Khan of Moscow, stored it in his centralized data center, forever?

And would it be okay with you if he identified your soft, supple face, even if you live in Chelyabinsk and have never stepped foot in Moscow?

Yes, of course that’s okay. You are flattered Sobyanin craves your face in such a passionate and intense way.

Kommersant has the steamy details:

The Moscow Department of Information Technologies plans to finalize a unified data storage center, at the facilities of which the capital’s face recognition system operates, to centralize the collection of video streams in all regions of the country.

From a technical point of view, this is logical, experts admit, since now no region can afford full-fledged computing power to process such a volume of data. The centralized analysis of video information becomes relevant in the face of an increased terrorist threat and the search for people who evade mobilization, participants in the Internet search market believe.

Round one of partial mobilization is basically (officially?) over, but we’re sure Sobyanin can utilize this “centralized analysis of video information” for all sorts of prole-hunting, and not just Evader-hunting.

There’s a precedent. In February 2020, Sobyanin announced that compliance with COVID quarantine measures in Moscow would be monitored using the city’s facial recognition system.

As we documented in July, cities across Russia are becoming very Smart—and very, very Safe.

And the smartness and safety-ness grows exponentially with each passing day:

Follow the links to read more about Moscow’s “safe and effective biometric payment systems” or Sobyanin’s plans for “genetic passports by 2030”.

Riley Waggaman is your humble Moscow correspondent. He worked for RT, Press TV, Russia Insider, yadda yadda. In his youth, he attended a White House lawn party where he asked Barack Obama if imprisoned whistleblower Bradley Manning (Chelsea was still a boy back then) “had a good Easter.” Good times good times. To begin, Russia is legally correct to defend itself against NATO, which broke legal agreements against it. Russia is bringing war crimes tribunals, a legal mechanism to resolve wrong doing. Russia is requesting the UN to investigate US bio weapons labs in the Ukraine. Again, Russia is taking a responsible and legal tact to resolve a very evil thing done against both itself and the people of the Ukraine. For this, I am grateful and I have respect. Simultaneously, as others have pointed out, there is a wider war against all of humanity. When I look at Russia, I see their political leadership as wholly on board with this agenda. As of now, China and Russia are leading the pack to implement the WEF’s vision of global fascism against most of the world’s people. Saying this is not to deny that many nations dream of doing such a good job.… Read more »

If it were true, why you guys complain about Western CCTV programs…this goes far beyond as one would expect it from totalitarian NAZI shithole country!!! Obviously it is needed in a country full of thieves, thugs, murderers, rapists and mafiosi…but wait the country is governed by the NAZI mafia then it is only for controlling the enslaved citizens…that’s why we should get asap rid of this country in its current form!!!

I’ve lived in Moscow. And had a good time (an understatement). Read news beyond ‘The Moscow Times’. Ventured off the beaten track…

And why was that? Why not wallow in dystopia as some would expect?

Maybe the key is to make the most of things. To not spend one’s whole time whingeing unnecessarily. After all, what’s the alternative? A hankering after one’s homeland ? Being in a foreign land merely for profit…??

I would suspect the roots of ‘whole-life-enjoyment’ are made early in life.

Just saw this on the TV listings:   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help_(2021_television_film)   Help is a 2021 British drama television film about the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom, written by Jack Thorne and directed by Marc Munden. It follows Sarah (Jodie Comer), a young health care assistant who starts working at a care home in Liverpool, where she cares for Tony (Stephen Graham), a middle-aged man who has early-onset Alzheimer’s disease; when the pandemic hits the UK, both their worlds are completely transformed.   Here’s how it ends:   Sarah, in the back of a police car, breaks the fourth wall and warns the audience against turning a blind eye to the needs of others in society, from those in social care to those using food banks. The film ends with statistics about deaths in UK care homes at the beginning of the pandemic and the insufficient amount of PPE the government… Read more »

I’m pretty sure Sergey Sobyanin’s wife just loves him to pieces. Perhaps they enjoy filming their love making trysts in the bedroom…

When societies continue to produce his measure of mind, what can we expect as a result? (The phenomena is obviously not limited to Russian populations)

Karl Marx spent his entire life as an anti-Russian shill under the protection of the British aristocracy. From his bizarre pamphlet claiming Palmerston was a Russian agent to his support for the Crimean War to his support for Poland against Russian via the 1st International Working Men’s Association to his final days preparing revolution in Russia. A model of discretion and obfuscation when dealing with “the bourgeoisie” at home he knew how to go for jugular of regimes the British didn’t like. It was all about fighting for socialism in far off places: a bit like some elements in the anti-lockdown movement fighting for freedom in Russia and China

Did anyone else catch the latest James Corbett/James Evan Pilato episode of New World Next Week? There was the strangest thing.

Mr. Corbett definitely believes there’s a streak of realism to all the nuclear talk. Not that he’s alone; but I did kind of get the impression that most “alt media” has concluded it’s all for show.

If indeed it is all for show, that kind of puts Corbett out on a limb. A bit strange.

There’s just more cartoons that’s all, some call commercials to make Money.

Putin makes speech condemning the west and its actions globally, Waggaman turns up to tell us how bad Russia is.

Transparent.

Does Waggaman believe that the disruption, murder and mayhem caused around the world by the US and its allies for decades can be compared to the actions of Russia in any way? Of course he doesn’t. He’s just here to muddy the waters. Dilute the evil. On this platform.

What happens to the vaxxed persons cellular internals when a NMR 31 or 44 Telsa magnet is activated? 1 depends on the vax? 2 depends on time since vaccination? 3 has no effect? 4 destroys the nucleus of the cell, 5. opens the cell membrane for outside extracellular content to travel inside (intra inter cellular) transport. or 6. for inside to outside transport? circle one please. Like so many things about the vaccination we the governed are not allowed to know? Like a God, only the maker of the VAxx knows? Some people cannot give up the idea a hero is coming to save them. While that is indeed learned behavior, it seems a really tough one to get people to see through that. An utter waste of time while they argue about which one is the good guy and which one is the bad guy, and perhaps that’s the point of it. Our owners have used that tactic since the beginning of time to divert our attention while they consolidate power, and it still works.

Isn’t that what it’s all about? Constantly adjusting, revising, testing and not just clinging? It’s just too bad the mayor’s vigilance against the “terrorist threat” was not sufficient to save Dayra Dugina.

Thank you for sharing this article. All the knowledge on earth is worth nothing, if we continue to accrue and not do. Albeit, it all boils down to what we do with what we know. A great start would be to acknowledge an idea from Catherine A-Fitz, withdraw ALL or most of our cash out of the banks. If we did it in great hordes, ‘they’ would soon get the message. Where I live, diesel is $2.39/L while hi-octane (98) is $1.59/L … if we can’t see an enormous lot of gouging going on, then we are the cause of the problem/s, be it surveillance-on-steroids to wage-fixing. It is past time we staged a ‘fight-back’ because talk is cheap, it is time for action, writ large. It is time to stop bending over and being sucked-in by media gossip-columnists paid to distract all with frivolous nonsense. TAKE YOUR $$$ OUT… Read more »

1:06:30 NHS Virtual Ward: Viewer e-mail from Stoke-on-Trent — yet recovering at home is unaffordable and impossible without thousands more community nurses

Virtual wards = remote care in the home = set up to fail = speeded up depopulatation.

They’ve set up dying at home as “people’s choice” – and of course like any good lie there’s some truth in it. I’ve had two experiences in an NHS ward in the last five years (one as patient, one as visitor) and it’s not somewhere anyone wants to be.

They’re trying the same trick with depopulation – the birth rate is collapsing because it’s “people’s choice”. People want more independence. They’re just mocking the free will delusion. People may make free choices, but not in circumstances of their own choosing.

WEFs Dr Yuval Harari has just made headlines again. This time he states that:

“You will have a small elite that will make all the decisions even if it doesn’t benefit the majority of the population….If bad comes to worse, scientists will be the Noah’s Ark for the elite…. leaving the rest to drown”

Well, thanks for that Yuval, I’m sure the rest of us slaves and useless eaters as you call them will look forward to that! However, I still can’t believe the global population will allow your elite pals to get away with it. Who said any resistance on the part of the proles is futile? Yes, VT I agree: “Resistance from the people would not be futile”. I was a born pessimist, but now I am a bit more optimistic. People will only put up with things for so long until a situation develops when they can take no more crap such as Convid and all that goes along with it. Furthermore, I do not believe that it is possible for the so-called “elite” to establish total control of the whole world in the way that they believe they can, and you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. More people are now beginning to see through their ideological propaganda and psyops programmes which have caused untold numbers to suffer from known sociogenic or psychogenic illness in the name of Convid-19, the latter also includes the usual seasonal flu and flu-like illnesses (nothing to do with alleged “pathogenic viruses” that are always… Read more »

I agree that’s why I’m asking and hoping enough people will have enough common sense to join the Common Law Court (international) to help restore some semblance of justice and freedom. Otherwise, nothing good will come out of the current situation and everyone will suffer in the long run. If people continue to believe that a peaceful solution to the problem won’t work by using common law principles, courts and constables then they have already lost the quiet war being waged against them and true justice and freedom will remain a forlorn hope. By the way, the TV series The Handmaid’s Tale, depicts a NWO type dystopian theonomic totalitarian society which binds fertile women called “Handmaids” into child-bearing slavery for the society commanders. The government of Gilead establishes despotic rule in the former USA after a civil war. The ruling elite commanders are religious fanatics but in name only as… Read more »

Yes, MH, but those scientists will, of course, be Black Magicians, well versed in Black magic which most people do not believe that such things exist. They think Black Magic just refers to a box of chocolates! When science is used for ignoble ends, it is by definition Black Magic and the ‘scientists’ are the Black Magicians.

Off topic: How do you make a government sponsored line appear oppositional and radical? Easy: you report – in suitably breathless tones – that it is being deflected, starved of funds etc. Hence:   https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2022/10/covid-inquiry-mystery/   “There is still no explanation as to why the judge chairman Lady Poole, the lead counsel Douglas Ross KC and three other lawyers have all quit the public inquiry into the handling of Covid in Scotland. This is an astonishing event. The inquiry currently is not happening. But nobody in the media seems particularly to care.”   Ooh Craig you are so daring! Going where others fear to tread! Bravely enquiring into the collapse of this investigation of covid – OOPS! – investigation of the handling of covid!   “As regular readers know, I have avoided commenting much on covid on the grounds of lack of expertise.”   Really? Such as?

“Profiteering on PPE, Furlough support, lockdown support?”

Cutting edge stuff!

“Covid is airborne. Why are we still denying this, and still not acting on it?

Get these masks on!

“Vax for kids is not an after thought. There’s really no reason to delay or put additional obstacles in place to stop it happening. Why did this happen?”

Vax the kids!

“There will be another pandemic. What lessons can we learn from this one to prepare for the next?”

In short Julian is “daringly” telling us ….. exactly what the media have been telling us all along!

VT, one would think that from all the people who post here that regard themselves as reasonably intelligent, very few have come up with any viable strategies to deal with the situation that is now upon us. Small wonder why you are “getting more and more depressed” as you put it. Being informed repeatedly about what’s going on day after day and what might happen in this quiet war being waged against us with its silent weapons and exposing it, is one thing, doing something else positive about it is another. I think people in general have reached the ‘let’s wait and see what happens stage’ expecting things to go back the way they were, and with some believing that it already has, at least to a certain degree (the so-called “new normal“), which is not the case. However, some do like to live in cuckoo land! Everyone here obviously… Read more »

You’ve helped me understand why Israel is soft pedaling condemning Russia for its brutal aggression against the democratic Ukrainian, ahh, state. No one can set up an effective, total surveillance apparatus without Israeli technology and there you go.
BTW, do you think you could do us a favor and go down to the Donbass and give us the scoop? You could crowd fund your trip and probably have enough left over for a flak jacket and a good helmet. Anyone who has lived in the UK knows all about video surveillance. A lot of it was first generation — analog cameras feeding banks of monitors — but it would be naive to think that it was never upgraded, especially with the widespread use of ANPR. All facial recognition systems are is ANPR for humans. Early systems like that in the UK were relatively crude so license plates were designed to be machine readable. Those days are long past, though, and now even the variety of plates used in the US are easily read by cameras and so now the technology is extended to people. Its not just faces that are used to track you, your gait is also a characteristic. (I should mention that the earliest prototypes of facial recognition systems were in the UK where they were tested on crowds at football matches.) In keeping with our world-wide… Read more »

Technology is much more fragile and wrought with massive breakage issues than many imagine. I think somethings they can attempt with some level of experience such as digital currency and degrees of fuzzy logic AI to manage populations. I think smart cities are more pipe dream.

However the damage they can do is incalculable. This has a certain opportunity embedded for their target audience.

They have pieces but integration is way beyond “Klaus’s” pay grade. I suspect their main control will be fear. That has worked reliably for centuries. They’ve made the nuke story run its course for 80+ years. Few question it.

We shout as loud as we can about it, anywhere, everywhere, to wake people up. I just persuaded some solicitor walking out of his office to read THE ANTI COMMUNITARIAN MANIFESTO by giving a quick explanation of what it is. You absolutely need to get your head around this stuff, because to be ignorant of it is to betray yourself and freedom. Getting out in the real world to spread the good word is where it’s at. First Report West Is Pushing Ukraine to Negotiate

The German publication ZEITUNG.DE, citing American military experts, including retired representatives of the US Army command, says that the death toll among the Ukrainian Armed Forces exceeds 200 thousand people, or 15-20 thousand monthly.

If they count in territorial defense units that were not part of the army, the previous numbers would rise to about 387 thousand.

It is also reported that the West is secretly increasing pressure on kyiv to negotiate with Moscow.

From a technical point of view, this is logical, experts admit, since now no region can afford full-fledged computing power to process such a volume of data.

The same disgusting, sleazeball shit they always use to justify every modern atrocity: computing space or speed or some other aspect of data accumulation.

How about some “experts” coming forth to ask why the fuck so much data is needed in the first place?

Guaranteed, when they come out with a data base capable of holding quatrillion terabytes of data, someone will suddenly discover a quatrillion pieces of data they absolutely, positively MUST HAVE – like every hair follicle of every human on the planet.

To make us safe, you see.

As you know, any experts that come forth potentially lose their jobs, and are therefore no longer in the ‘expert’ pool, where they would otherwise have been available to give actual information to anybody who asked.

How I wish the days of tarring and feathering would come back.
A nice, clear, unambiguous message like that is long overdue, and the cosmically wealthy who run everything today need to be made to understand – when the fact comes to light that there is no actual money left anywhere – that THEY will be as much the “underprivileged minority” as anyone ever was.

Russia is a part of the globalists’ pantomime play, and ll of the planet-wide madness we’ve been experiencing was designed and implemented by a hierarchy that resides above the sovereignty of nations, at the very top of the global power structure. One does not simultaneously shut the entire world down over a cold virus, without first having control of every government on earth. For the sake of simplicity, let’s call this higher power the WEF or the ‘World Economic Forum’.

This ridiculous Ukraine war is simply the next phase of the global enslavement directive that began in earnest with the lockstep lockdowns in 2020. The end-goal from this deliberate destruction and rebirth of everything is a one-world-government where one entity will own and control everything on this planet, including you. In the WEF’s own words: You will own nothing, and you will be happy. Or else.
