I’m not sure there were pharmaceuticals being pumped in the middle ages. But Im am sure the conventional wisdom of what did happen is almost certainly bullshit.
I tend to doubt that the Black Death was a hoax like Covid-19 and HIV. Death rates in Europe then approached 30-50% of the population — that’s hard to fake.

For those interested, here is a link to the recent House hearing on government censorship during the pandemic featuring RFK Jr. and a lawyer representing the case of Missouri versus Biden where the government has just been prohibited from contacting social media companies for the purpose of blocking material.
They also hit RFK Jr with the anti S- H thing which no one is allowed to mentioned except that group. Really nasty taken out of contents examples to make RFKjr look anti S.
The hearing was quite a show and an interesting lesson on American politics for a foreigner like me. It seems to me that the Democrats speaking during this session must be deliberately saying things that are inedible to the audience in order to covertly support the Republicans? I find it hard to understand them any other way. What do other people think?

I am an American. I cannot watch Congressional hearings because I just cannot tolerate the utter bs rhetoric. I used to think they meant something. They are smoke and mirrors. However, as a member of CHD, an avid reader and listener of CHD and Kennedy for the past 3 plus years, and someone very concerned about the censorship, I watched. I’m not a trader of any sort, and someone will correct me if I am wrong, but don’t banks charge businesses for running a business? And don’t some of charges include the handling of cash for the business? If so, paying with cash isn’t as fee-free as you are making out.
Handling cost for any card may be lower. Yet, banks charge customers for periodically for any card, and charge businesses for every credit card transaction.
