OffG’s New Look

admin

Hi all. As you will probably notice OffG has just undergone a fairly extensive update. Lots of new functionality, and (we hope) more user-friendly interface.

The “latest” posts are still to be found along the very top as before, but our featured slider has gone to the great WordPress Theme in the sky. If you miss it, we’re sorry, but it was clunky and  got very little use. We think the new featured section allows for much more flexibility and engagement.

If you scroll the front page you’ll see new sections devoted to some of the most urgent issues of our time – the Covid Deception, the Anti-Human Agenda and the vexed “multipolar world” question.

There are also new sections of Opinion – where our resident and visiting polemicists have their say – and on the Arts.

If you come here for the comments you can find the latest of them showcased here, alongside a “quote of the week”.

All this and more for you to explore and discover!

Inevitably with such a major overhaul there are going to be some issues, and we welcome your feedback on any problems you find. But we hope you love and enjoy the new-look OffG!

The new speeded up editor doesn’t leave much time for edit after comment is posted..

Why is the new look similar to most main stream comment sections.?

Fine overall, but don’t care for the truncated comments with “read more” at bottom. It actually makes me less likely to read more, especially if there are many such comments. I’d prefer seeing the whole comment, as before.

Why is the new look all grey, just like the new look Conservative Woman?

I like the new front page. Lots to explore. Arts section – nice. New look blockquotes easier to read. Glad you kept the clean ‘modern’ look. Many sites fall into looking cluttered. OG always stood out for not doing that. Still does. Great job.

Confusing – too much info on front page. I prefer your old version but without the moving panel. But thanks for all your work.

lol if OG confuses you how do you cope with the average news site with the ads and pop-ups and stuff crammed in everywhere? I find they give me a headache whereas OG always seems cool and calming by contrast. And no ads!

New look…same old agenda. Same old ideology. Same old forum: agree with us 110% or hit the road. At least that road’s not filled with barriers.

I agree with Howard. Nothing will ever be good enough to satisfy our historical superior personalities and intelligence.
OffG should be happy we use a short moment of our lives to click onto this site.

Is Catte Black back?

Has Kit Knightly decided to try and become an MP?

Thanks for occasionally allowing me to write here, and just binning it if you think it was crap – that is fine…That is why I like Moderators…

I have been writing stuff on blogs since before most of the moderators were in nappies or even a sparkle in at least one of their parents eyes.

I wasn’t writing anything provocative, on this very large American website, but I must be really interesting, cos they were quite obviously reading every word I wrote, live. The rudest word I wrote was shit instead of sh1t. I was actually supporting British culture and stuff. Americans didn’t even get a mention…

Whilst I was typing, before I pressed send, I got a message – You need to change some of your words or we won’t publish it – so I did, and they did publish it. I changed he to they and she to they. The rest remained the same.

It’s not wtf do Americans know about British culture which is close to zero..Its the fact that they can read what I am typing live, and so probably have total and complete access to my computer. They haven’t stolen anything recently so far as I know, and when they tried to a few years ago, The American Bank phoned me up . Your account has been debited £100, £1000, and £10,000..It seems somewhat unusual for you. I was about to distribute the last remaining proceeds of my Mum’s Will.

They Gracefully refunded our Family’s Money after a couple of weeks.

It was lucky I answered the phone.

Who’s is it? Do you want my shopping too? Stop controlling my PC. Write your own stuff and stop bombing and stealing.

Too Orange. I do know the reason why I hate Oranges. and hate the colour and have never eaten an Orange, and can’t stand the smell.

My Mum Breastfed me till I was 15 months old..and then replaced her milk with Orange Juice.

I was the faddiest kid ever in Oldham when I was 3,but still looked exceedingly well on 2 pints of milk a day, and a tin of Heinz Baked Beans..

So my Mum, a bit skint cos she was looking after me, didn’t get jabbed, wrote a letter to the Nursing Times including a photo of me on her Box Brownie (120 Film – HD)

They responded, is it OK if we meet you, and photograph your 3 year old son Professionally

So I do remember all the cameras and the flashes and studios – mostly in Oldham..but maybe an occasional trip to Manchester.

I have still got some of the photos…and I still look Good now,

Featured Full Page on The Front of The Nursing Times when i was 3

That was me.

Yes, I know I need to get out more..and am nearly ready to go

Looks nice, home page loads fine, but it no longer seems to be possible to load an old article ( eg your awesome one about the physics of tall buildings, 9:11, etc, ) and then click from that page to the main page, as the old “OffG”-home button is no longer at the top of the page and the new Menu button doesn’t seem to load anything at all. 😕

… ps. … also can’t work out how to get back to the Home page from an article. The Menu ( even the “working one on new articles ) doesn’t seem to offer that.

PS. And i don’t know how to get back to the Home page from an article, even a new one like this, as the menu list doesn’t seem to offer that option. 😕

I’m using an old Android tablet, and I think that the reason the menu button wasn’t working on the old article pages was because they were/are loading somewhat slower than they did before the redo, ? maybe , and so when I was clicking on the menu the page actually wasn’t totally ready. So I’m giving it longer to load now, and the menu button works. .. and you’ve already tweaked the menu to indicate the Home page option, ( which was blank before ) 🙂 so that’s all cool. Thank you.

Menu button working now. 🙂 And now that I know that the blank space in the menu list is where the home page is lurking I am able to get to the home page from the menu , but as someone said below it would be smoother if could go direct to home page without needing to use a drop down menu.

I always got to the articles from my RSS feed reader, so I honestly don’t remember what the front page looked like and thus not know how the new one is different.

Articles look a little slicker. Very clean. On the tablet also. So yeah, good job!

As far as the latest articles are concerned, the new front page now offers only the headlines, without pictures, which makes it less clear and less attractive, I find. Personally I just look out for the latest additions when I visit your site and very rarely make use of archive (or themed) sections.

The good old days are gone. Before we could spent our time here on OffG in freedom and democracy, free bees in intellectual high intelligence free speech without nobody was interfering.

Now OffG has become totalitarian with censorship and spy eyes luring and hiding inside every single article.

Photos filled with nano bots. Videos are deliberately filled with corona vaxx in the sound waves. A new technique that vaccinate all conspiracy theorists in an invisible way, through ultrasound.

We are all doomed if the sheeple dont wake up soon and do something. We are now 1 minute to 12, and they and you know it!

Don’t be caught hanging around with those guys!! 🤣

Love the new look and layout. Great work all!
Maybe you could link up some other of James Corbett’s documentary videos in the “documentary / videos” section. Otherwise, it might as well be called the “solutions watch” section. While you’re at it, you could link to other great video content creators like Truthstreammedia, UK Column, Media Monarchy, Alison McDowell etc and become a clearing house / hub for other content creators. Just a thought.

Loving your work!
