Pending: The concept of Flood Zones is not new and has everything to do with the climate. River systems have always had what engineers termed Flood Zones; and people have always been advised to avoid building in these areas – advice which has always been ignored. Rivers have always flooded when the climatic conditions were right. Given the added feature of geoengineering, flooding rains can be created almost at will (as well as droughts).

Sea level rises only involve melting ice when that ice is land based. An iceberg the size of Great Britain melting wouldn’t raise sea level so much as an inch. It’s only land based ice melting that affects sea levels.

I hate when people take climate change as a given which needs no proof. Likewise, I hate when people assume climate change is such an obvious scam that no proof is required. But I suppose that’s the modern way of looking at things: proof and opinion are now
indistinguishable.

The powers that be, I think everyone here knows who they are, don’t want people to be educated. If you’re educated to well, you’ll have enough knowledge to know that most of the propaganda is a bunch of BS. Can’t control people’s behavior then, could you?

Insurance versus assurance.

In Uk, insurance is coveŕing an event that might happen like a car crash or subsidence in your house.

Assurance covers an event that WILL happen. Like life assurance.

In France, the healthcare system is partly based on an “Assurance maladie mutuelle”

This is the top-up insurance you pay for the bit the state doesn’t cover. 30% of the total cost.

Here’s the weird bit : the mutuelle does not ask you for any health questions. Just your age.

So, regardless of your health history, you pay the same as anyone else in your age cohort.

The spuriousness of “The Science” behind “climate change”, as with the totally incoherent transgender waffle and the curious pile up of “unprecedented” new viruses that need vaccination, is a matter that can be shot down any number of times by actual real scientific investigation. None of which matters to a media juggernaut relentlessly churning out the original spew. Every prestigious channel from the media organs to “the scientific community” to government departments will grind out the deception continually. The aim is brutally pragmatic: to hypnotise the public into repeating the desired mantra and submitting to the desired memes.

The report from Karl Malin, CEO of Climate Valuation and Co Founder of The Climate Risk Group, is revealing:

“locations that modern technology and climate science now suggest could become unliveable”

Meaning that those newly declared mystical oracles, modern technology and climate science, are to be our guides. And

“The challenge therefore is not to find fault but to find solutions”

Meaning, no-one is to doubt the aforementioned mystical pronouncements.

Developers are risk agnostic — they build for profit and if their developments are in fire or flood zones or on earthquake faults then that’s not their problem. Its a problem for the rest of us, of course, and not just the people directly affected. How it’s solved — or not solved — says a lot about our society. The preferred way in our modern societies appears to be to set targets, impose penalties (never incentives, note) and pass the buck, usually to those with the least resources and power to push back against the losses imposed on them. (Its all part of the general rule of ‘privatize profit, nationalize loss’.)

My concern is that this kind of bureaucratic top down mandate is going to miss the point entirely. Here in California we’re no stranger to natural disasters, with or without global warming or whatever. We’ve got earthquake faults, flood zones, high fire risk areas and a good selection of beachfront property at risk from erosion or landslides, just about all along with their risks well documented. Here the problem is getting people to recognize these risks; humans are incurable optimists, especially when it comes to laying out money to mitigate problems that haven’t happened yet in living memory (which can be a very short timeframe….). There are some situations where nothing can be done — living on a crumbling cliff or on a landslide might be great for views but mitigating against earth movement is either not possible or prohibitively expensive, for example. But a process of mitigation has to be a social priority (….and just waiting for a disaster to hit and expecting insurance companies or the government to make things good just isn’t going to work). But its easier — and cheaper — to just issue mandates than to actually come up with a workable plan, I suppose.

According to the proposal, homes from group G must be energy upgraded to at least category F by 2030. By 2033, all homes in groups G and F must be energy upgraded to at least group E.
The categorisation is done country by country. This ensures that the worst homes in each member state are improved. On the other hand, not all the worst homes across the EU will be improved, as these will primarily be concentrated in southern and eastern Europe, while Danish homes, for example, are on average in better condition.
The EU’s new building directive is a central part of both the Fit For 55 climate plan and the RepowerEU plan to make Europe independent of Russian gas.”

– This could mean 1 million for an ordinary detached house. “I’m particularly worried about homes on the outskirts of town, where an ordinary homeowner may have to pay for everything themselves. In condominiums and housing cooperatives, there are more people to share the costs,” Pihl warned.”

The “outskirts of town” ofcourse being rural areas.

One thing though is that the glocal control system not only relies on massive ammounts of smoke and mirrors, brainwashing et cetera, but the means of subjugation through financial means seems to be a key component, as Paul brilliantly exposes in this piece.

I am just reading Paul Cudenec’s excellent “The Great Racket” which is as concise a summary of the parasite class as you will find.

In that work he states that the men who deleberately start and prolong wars for profit are not in themselves evil but a conduit for evil.

That is the only point on which I would disagree with the author.
