This Week in the New Normal #97

Our successor to This Week in the Guardian, This Week in the New Normal is our weekly chart of the progress of autocracy, authoritarianism and economic restructuring around the world.
1.”Can anything stop bird flu?”
So asks the headline of this piece in New York magazine. A feverishly apocalyptic tale of a virus that could – and probably will – kill every human being in the United States.
The tone is urgent from the beginning. Hitting dates and names like the voiceover of a true crime documentary. It’s also tediously long so we won’t break down the whole thing.
The main takeaway should be this: Despite the winding down of bird flu in the wake of Trump Musk mania, it hasn’t gone away yet. In fact, articles like this make me begin to doubt my bird flu prediction from back in January.
The angle that looks to be shaping up, if this article is anything to go by, is that if there is a bird flu pandemic, it will be all Trump/Kennedy’s fault. A potentially wonderfully violent public debate will ensue, I’m sure, which is very much the point of almost all news media for the last few years.
All that said, the article made me laugh. There’s just something so darkly amusing about his Marvin-like defeatism. He’s typing his ten-thousand words out to a readership of people who don’t even realise they’re already dead.
There’s no comfort in where we are. Our government has spent the past year allowing H5N1 to spread throughout the country and the past two months dismantling some of the best defenses we have against pathogens of all sorts. We’re beleaguered and suspicious and seemingly incapable of collective action for the common good. The only thing keeping us safe, for now, is the virus itself.
2. Goodbye freedom of religion
A New York court has found that Amish children are not exempt from the state’s “compulsory vaccinations for schoolchildren” law.
The St Vincent Times headlines:
Amish children in NY face compulsory vaccination as court crushes religious freedom
To be clear, these are Amish schools run by Amish people for Amish children. The children in question are not attending public schools. The Amish are not asking for special treatment, only to be left alone.
This is the entire purpose of the Constitution: to protect people who want to be left alone. A terrible precedent is being set.
3. “Food security requires alternative proteins, upscaling innovation is crucial”
That’s a headline from Euractive, warning that we need to change the way we eat because of climate this and sustainability that.
You know the drill. And you know what they mean by “alternative protein”.
My favourite line claims that “decreasing meat consumption could save the lives of 80 billion animals a year”, which seems to suggest that – should we stop eating pigs and cows and such – that farms are going to become like boring zoos where all the animals are just left alone to live their lives in peace.
Reality check – those animals won’t be saved, those animals will never exist. We’ll need the land they live on to grow soy paste and bug milk (see below).
It’s like arguing that contraception saves children’s lives because babies who were never born can’t die in car accidents.
It also discounts that 80 billion pigs/sheep/chickens/cows – by weight – is probably several tens of tillions of insects, none of which want to be eaten. But I guess those lives don’t count.
BONUS: Superfood of the week
Did you know that cockroach milk is four times as nutritious as cows’ milk?
It’s true. They did a study:

It’s the next superfood.
The hard part is finding the teeny tiny udders.
*
All told a pretty hectic week for the new normal crowd, and we didn’t even mention whatever is about to go down in Serbia or how we should redefine making weapons as “ethical”.
There’s a lot of change in the air, a lot of agendas in the works, if you see a headline, article, post or interview you think is a sign of the times, post it in the comments, email us or share it on social media and we will add it to the next edition.

Who in Pakistan get kidnapped for big ransoms? No reward for guessing….
Send the link to the The Rutherford Institute and ask the Whiteheads to make an article about the Sindh dacoits human rights under the Geneva Convention, and the baddy baddy Police State who try to suppress their freedom.
There is another piece of wisdom I would like to impart to you: a constantly lurking danger is not a reason for paralysis, but for awareness. Imagine living on a volcano that could erupt at any time. This is not a cause for concern, but a fantastic closeness to the creative and destructive forces, which are one and the same. Not war, as Heraclitus claims, but this is the father of all things. We have to welcome and appreciate the gift of the moment.
For many people, what “feels good” to them is “true”. It can be about the most “offbeat preferences”. But we cannot deal with our misery with this kind of lazy mentality, we have to develop a higher consciousness than that of our destroyers. How can this be achieved? By developing a higher instance than that of our so far programmed unconsciousness.
We must therefore begin to listen to our INNER SELF-TALK, to enter into a dispute with ourselves. This will give us increasingly “louder” thoughts, so we can get to the bottom of them and put them out of action with counter-questioning: “Is that really true”? “Of course not!”. Then we can decide whether we really want to pursue these stupid thoughts.
So we only become free in spirit when we recognize ourselves as the highest judge and the highest authority of judgment. But doesn’t this ultimately mean become impious? Not in the slightest! By doing so, you have given destiny access, it is this itself that speaks through you! You have emerged from the realm of heteronomy into the realm of self-determination!
How can I know that? The PRIMAL SOURCE of all being protects you if you believe in yourself! You gain an infinite, unshakeable trust in life and its laws, processes and circumstances. You recognize and acknowledge your extremely minimal part in a stream of cosmic events, you allow yourself to be guided by destiny instead of trying to “influence” it yourself!
Imagine being a geopolitics-free zone during the potential dawning of a landmark historical event. That is, the shift from Pax Americana to Pax Europa!

Donald Trump is an unprincipled, narcissistic charlatan who doesn’t give a damn about democracy: ANDREW NEIL
Mar 8, 2025
This week it became clear that, under President Trump, we can no longer count on America as the keystone of the Atlantic Alliance – that when it comes to Europe’s future security it will increasingly be on its own.
This is no longer just a matter of Europe picking up more of the Nato defence burden, which is long overdue and happening at last. It is the prospect of Nato without America at all.
‘I want to believe the US will stay by our side,’ President Macron said in a prime-time broadcast last night ‘but we have to be ready if they don’t’. He’s right.
The end of a US-led Nato alliance is bad enough. But it’s even worse than that.
Trump’s America is not just an unreliable ally – it now behaves as if it’s batting for the other side. Faced with a choice between Europe and Russia, Trump gives every impression that he’d choose Russia.
This week a French senator said ‘we are fighting a dictator [Putin] supported by a traitor [Trump]’.
Over the top? Perhaps. But consider what’s happened in just the past couple of days. The man who promised to stop the Ukraine-Russian war on day one of taking power decided instead on day 42 to stop all further US military aid to Ukraine – while looking at ending economic sanctions that hurt the Kremlin.
Not content with one bodyblow to Ukraine, he followed up with a second – freezing Kyiv’s access to vital intelligence data – which immediately undermined its ability to deal with Russian attacks.
Within 24 hours Russia mounted one of its biggest ever bombardments on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, unleashing more than 250 missiles and drones on power and gas facilities in one night.

Whoa! … these gives new meaning to the concept of, ‘a frog’s rant’. Orange-man certainly appears to have done some pot-stirring …
I dare-say that now this phantom-frog has had his 15 mins of fame, he will crawl back under the bridge until his tax-payer funded, handsome-pension is ready to collect. Bugger, is it any wonder that Western-economies are going sour, fancy having to finance all these buggers mega-pension schemes – while simultaneously financing ALL their elaborate grand-plans of benevolence to Ukraine, Israel, etc.etc. Doesn’t leave much for the ol’ mug tax-payer’s of genuine pensionable age, does it?
It’s not that difficult. They simply change the mantra to: Europe is in favour of energy security and rebuilding its manufacturing industry. And those who are opposed to that policy will be accused (sometimes rightly) of being Russian assets.
Andrew Neil:
https://order-order.com/2025/02/24/just-1-in-6-energy-chiefs-think-net-zero-achievable-by-2050
Cross-party MPs and peers of the Net Zero Scrutiny Group, chaired by Lord Mackinlay, have written to Miliband accusing him of “playing into Putin’s hands” for shutting down the UK’s last remaining shale gas wells.
Even, or precisely because, if you not only “lend” this “shared” woman to your friend temporarily, but “generously hand her over to him” (“You no longer need to rent her only temporarily, you can take her over completely from now on if she means more to you than to me!”), she will – according to the law of polarity – decide paradoxically: “But I don’t want a man who wants me, only one who doesn’t want me!”
According to nature, women want to be dependent on independent men, the only coherent formula that corresponds to the facts. And then this game of cat and mouse starts all over again, in which she tries to turn you into her lapdog and gradually pulls out all your teeth and claws. Until you end up, as a once “jumping tiger”, as a bedside rug. Or as a former rooster in the yard as a cockerel in the cooking pot.
Women bear an ironically condescending envy of male friendships: “Oh, so you’re going back to your old buddy and eternal playmate! And I get to sit here alone in front of the TV! Well then, play cowboys and Indians, you two! But mom has the last word, otherwise you can cook your own food or call the pizzeria in future!”
What about those of us who aren’t religious? We have no rights? I believe that mandated jabs, whether true vaccines or not, are more egregious than rape. At least in a rape the foreign bodies aren’t injected straight into the blood stream.
You are lawless. Like a vagabond without a home. But think of yourself as Clint Eastwood the lonely cowboy, then you will get over it.
It wasn’t just the Amish that refused the Toxic Jabs.
I know of SDA (Seventh Day Adventists) and Jehovah Witness members who also said No!
Sometimes, just sometimes, some Christians get it right.
When it comes to Jesus they are.
I know the nearest JW church to me ALL got both the jabs and the boosters.
The organisation said it was up to each person to decide.
They are such a nice people so once more a man got disappointed. WTF, arent they able to figure out and stand such a simple case?
But they refer to the Bible’s book Roman, where it says Christians should follow ALL the Authorities (Roman) demands, only that of blood transfusion should be rejected.
WHAT??? Weird way of reading the Bible. The bible is guilty because it said that?
No baby.
Wouldn’t it be possible that certain groups got together and decided that their policy would be NO JABS?
Anybody and everybody should be able to say NO to jabs or medical interventions regardless of “religious beliefs”
AND I hope this issue re Amish schools goes to SCOTUS.
Even a bull elephant once must have had Nietzsche’s wisdom in mind, but without considering the serious consequences, because despite its oversized dimensions, this foresight is not possible for his brain.

One could also conclude that Mother Nature decided for him. She chose for the greater good his voluntary heroic death as a group evolutionary survival strategy on behalf of his genetic relatives.
It has even been shown that leaderless bull elephants can become murderous beasts. The unmistakable consequence of human intervention in nature, who apparently believed they could transfer their sick Judeo-Marxist idea of “liberality” and “equality” to animals and abolish their healthy hierarchy.

Recently I’ve been thinking about the tobacco industry… Everything we’ve ever been told about the dangers of smoking, is there even any reason left to believe that’s true? The way I understand the government, science and big businesss nowadays makes me feel that even if smoking is dangerous, this was only revealed because someone in the tobacco industry crossed the wrong oligarchs.
Surely there has never been a time when honest scientists just miraculously prevailed over megacorporations through pure strength of their integrity, compassion and adherence to the scientific method. Right? Such a notion seems ludicrous now
I smoked myself, not much, but daily and over years.
As long as I could breath deep without any signs, there could be nothing wrong with smoking a little bit.
My lungs were in perfect conditions with ref to all the advertising of lung cancer caused by smoking.
But I forgot the smoke goes from the lungs into the blood circulation. The psychologists call it ‘cognitive dissonance’, lie to oneself. We all do it more or less.
My own focus on the lungs was wrong. I refused to see other obvious influences
We breath and oxygen goes through the lungs into the blood and clean the inner guts and many things from within with oxygen and………for many years also smoke from smoking.
So this end up after years of smoking in blood clots, heart clots, circulation deceases, because the smoke particles have hooks and set themselves in the walls of your blood canals.
The end of the story was a full stop smoking. The Doctors and Big Pharma were right in everything bad they said about smoking. Bad bad bad. It WAS bad. So f…..g bad.
But I didnt realize it before it was too late, and therefore I write this to you here from my place in heaven.
How do you know that any of what you said is true? Because they provided a plausible-enough sounding hypothetical scientific mechanism? One which doesn’t even address the question of whether tobacco is actually a deadly carcinogen?
Doctors, scientists and government have been justifying forced vaccination using the exact same kind of hypothetical arguments which rest entirely on the logic of highly questionable, unproven, often blatantly pseudoscientific dogmas (virology, germ theory…), which they’ve brainwashed society into believing are self-evidently factual.
They do the same crap with GMOs and EMFs as well, and a seemingly endless number of other issues
Its not the same.
By living a life we sniff lots of things into our lungs every day, pollen from flowers, microbes from animals, smoke from fires and so on.
True there is nothing wrong in smoking a peace pipe once a week in the tribe.
But if you smoke every day long in 20-30 years, not pipe and natural tobacco, but synthetic cigarettes which contain formaldehyde and other synthetic stuff why you have filters on them.
Then it is logical if your body at some point physically reacts to this daily intake of synthetic stuff who goes around with your blood in the entire body.
A nurse told me the tobacco smoke particle have these hooks and stick to the slimy calcium layers in the blood veins.
Ok I know this is a microscope postulate, but I take it with me as a potential risk factor.
Conclusion: I maybe should not have smoked cigarettes daily during 20-30 years. May the doctors were right and I wrong, yes?
See, its not the same as the vaccine shit.
There’s government paid-for science, and there’s corporation
paid-for science – What science today is not paid-for ?
And scientists dont bite the hand that feeds them – if they want
to keep eating… Science is not Value Free. If it’s government
paid-for, or private paid-for, there’s agendas and biases at work –
which side do you support ? (Jacques Camatte remarked in one
of his essays that ‘Science is Capitalism’ – but then, he’d read
Marx)…
(of course, scientists seem to be like ‘all the Kings Horses and
all the King’s Men’ trying to put something back together – after

how would they know know if a home schooled kid had had there jabs or not
The Amish grift never worked on me, this fake as fuck hillbilly Quakers horse mature sold via the Christian fundamentalist media as old america.
article was produced on
March 3 (33) Lent
smells like absolute bullshit to get the lent religious lot going.
If there that out of the loop why the Amish in newyork wanting evil normal schooling. ???(basic obvious kk)
Only thing missing was a preacher banned from church or the yearly arrested pastor for praying outside a church on the build up to easter psyop that gets the milkshakes all up in arms.
No….it is referring to their own PRIVATE AMISH schools (as it states in the article) in rural areas of New York state miles from NYC. Not public (state) schools in the hood.
In case it wasn’t obvious enough from the linked article, try the following article, it even has pretty pictures of a NY Amish school with cows and fields.
https://amishamerica.com/no-vaccine-exemption-for-amish-children-amish-fined-118000-dollars/
I could imagine a better place than precisely NY to make an Amish community.
Libtards and Amish together can and will never work.
These case you describe in the link are typical for liberal managed areas.
Court cases dragging out for years and years about simple things like 1 sewage pit or a 5m long ditch, or private collection of rainwater is also a big big problem for liberals..
I didn’t know much about the Amish except the basics, however, after reading some articles from the website amishamercia.com discovered that there are just under half a million in the whole of USA. Seeing as there are 330 million plus people in US they are drop in the ocean. Yet, the Amish get targeted for government harassment.
Next this will give the goons an excuse to come after parents that home school their kids with the same jab, jab, jab rules.
The biggest irony is that those who scream “My body, my choice” on the abortion issue were the first to insist that others be jabbed during the Plandemic. They should have been the first to defend others rights to freedom of choice, yet it was a case of choices for me, but not for thee.
I know what you mean when you refer to them as liberals, but these people are not liberals in the true sense of the word. They are authoritarian statists who are very selective in their ‘liberal’ attitudes. Meanwhile, it seems to me, that the Amish are far more liberal in their attitude of respecting others wishes while choosing to live their lives somewhat apart from the rest of the world. A live and let live approach.
Fully agree.
Thank god, you’ve appeared again from your hibernation to set us straight whilst faking it as the just appeared helper of the site.
By the way, it is really ”creepy” and noticeable that you reply to your own comments as you have done on this thread and others.
Don’t be a twat.
It is obvious to anyone that Erik is not me. Totally different writing style and different points of view.
Unlike yours – which at times has – as in the first comment I responded to here the identical, can’t string a sentence together style and used “there“, as you always do which are also the hallmarks of..yes, you guessed it, suzaloop and entitlement. Also, same themes – Christian bashing, alt-media psyop blah, blah. For the record I’m not a Christian but your themes are a broken record.
Yet, the second time you have replied clearly and written well.
Your two comments here seem as if they are written by different people. Got a friend to help you with the second one? Team effort?
Why do you think I responded to your comment? To see if you would bite and you didn’t disappoint. 😂 You should have left it alone and we wouldn’t now be in a tit for tat.

RE: Amish
Why are we reading this from a newspaper in the Caribbean?
To make you ask questions.
As for the Amish, that’s a medical ‘Control Group’ about to be rendered useless for a significant portion of research projects.
It’s about religious persecution. Because to go against the religion of vaccination is sacrosanct.
The Supreme Court must strike this ruling down it’s so manifestly unconstitutional – but the point is to embroil the Amish in costly legal action to dissuade others and, in the longer term, to prep for an attack on the Supreme Court’s power of judicial review (which is in truth highly vulnerable – it has no constitutional basis).
The Court currently has a 6-3 conservative majority (put very crudely – of course it’s more complicated) and it may well be 7-2 by the end of Trump’s term so it’s obvious where the attack is going to come from.
Ain’t no judges going to tell libocrats what they can and can’t do.
Yes, the Court writes that the claim is too general. They cannot claim exemption because of religion in all cases or all vaccines.
I too would also say its a somewhat bad argument,
They would have a much better case if they referred to the centuries long tradition that all children had their natural child deceases which is nature’s natural way to strengthen their immune system best possible.
Adaption to the environment where they live. Call it God’s design for those who understand religion.
Pharma does not desire a true control group anyway. So much the easier for them without one to make any real clinical trials meaningless. After all, this was done during the “trials” for the Emergency Use Authorization due to the humanitarian concerns of those brilliant scientists for the health and safety of their test subjects – why, who would be so cruel as to withhold the magic elixir from those willing to participate in a study? Better to be safe and not leave those poor people to the mercy of their own immune system, right? As for that polluting the clinical trials, that no longer matters and it is dangerous for the test subjects, who Pharma really, really, really cares so much about….
First I want to emphasize that I believe in my Government.
Second I wants to point out both references and examples are from NYC, a hell hole of Liberals and Doos and..and..and ………Harlem.
Facts yes, but far from the truth in other spots on our planet and thus not representative.
As already said: We should divide us up in two groups.
1 who sits in front of their screen 10-15 hrs a day the 2 dimensionals, the AI un-believers.
2 those who live in real weather, the 3 dimensionals where it rains, is cold, dirty, sweaty, and the blood is rolling, and do not forget – where the sun is shining, us the believers.
The sun is shining. https://vkvideo.ru/video-7271928_456239650

The Disturbing Logic Of The Left
Yuri Bezmenov said and wrote the same. I said the same.
The Chinese said and wrote the same, have even a nick name for them: Baizuo.
Refers to people who “only care about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment. Who have no sense of real problems in the real world”.
“Who only advocate for peace and equality to “satisfy their own feelings of moral superiority” and who are “obsessed with political correctness”.
“That they “tolerate backward Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism”.
Reads Zhang’s article published in Open Democracy.com on May 11. xxxx.
In terms of the subject under discussion, Gaza, the same disturbed logic presents also on the “right.”
An “eye taken for an eye,” after all, “ends up making everyone blind.”
If it gets to obvious.
Throw in a Tesla dealer-ship stage fake terror attack.
The “News” is: Russia and Ukrania have signed a ‘peace deal’.
I didnt know they were at War with each other…
Or is it The New Normal for allies to make ‘peace deals’ with
each other, instead of with The Enemy ?
Correction: change ‘peace deal’ to ‘cease fire agreement’ –
they appear to have been firing at each other…
The main advantage of sham wars over real wars is that anything is possible including cease fires.
So why do they do it?
-money, money, money
-a good (candid camera) laugh
-they are not criminals, they are just actors. Are you not entertained?
-to escape boredom and the ultimate terror (for leaders) to take responsibility. What responsibility is there to take if the thing ain’t real (more laughter)
Or as the old poet wisely said: all the world’s a stage
Are the million or so deaths in Ukraine also sham? Concerning the much overused and unsupported actors on a stage yarn, can we know who’s directing, and are they real?
Well, perhaps ‘they’ – meaning the same racially, ethnically and religiously diverse global elite who orchestrated the pandemic circus – use their ‘owned media outlets’, to quote another comment of yours today, to create a sort of simulacrum, a sort of spiritually dead artificial reality for us proles to exist in. That we don’t know what exactly is real or false is the end goal, it is a stagnant state of anti-life in which we must grasp at the very, very small in order to gain any meaning at all, and by necessity lower our horizons to ridiculous extremes. In this condition a prole’s perspective is so limited they are essentially blind and trapped in an impotent state of energy-sapping hyper vigilance.
So, the point would be to make your question, or any pertinent question relating to the outside world, unanswerable, and ultimately to erode our ability to discern what pertinent questions even are. A2
I also liken the modern news cycle to aggregate used as a base for concrete foundations. If the objective were to keep all meaningful and newsworthy events – the foundations of meaningful discourse – out of the public eye and the preserve of a privileged and wealthy few, then one way to achieve this would be to fill in the existing media infrastructure with a sort of loose fill aggregate of nonsense, entirely displacing meaningful news and allowing the foundations of meaningful reality to be placed atop, enjoyed by those who occupy the upper stories.
A simple and elegant solution, in some ways. A2
Is it a Trump ceasefire though? In that case, I’m against it.
That’s no exaggeration from the mistake of looking at the Fraud website. “Trump tariffs” and DoE lay offs get more coverage – indeed it would be easy to miss that any ceasefire has been agreed at all. Where they do mention it, the headline is “Kyiv agrees to… “. Doesn’t a ceasefire require two sides to agree? They can’t bring themselves to mention “Russia/Putin” and “ceasefire” in the same sentence. In the “Opinion” section, there’s “Trump treachery”, “Trump-Putin pact” (the use of “pact” there is very deliberate NLP) and “the cancer of Putin” (from that well-known International Relations’ expert Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys – not that “culture” is controlled at all and isn’t just a bit of harmless fun).
Remember when “the left” was anti-war?
Mind you, you can understand the Guardian’s reluctance. Their ‘expert’ columnists have spent three years saying Ukraine were going to win and it was curtains for Putin. ‘For facts’ sake’ indeed!
In 15-Minute Cities > No Dogs. No Cats. No Family Pets !
Something to look forward to…
Of course Amish children must be vaccinated. Unvaccinated people spread disease and therefore vaccinated people might get sick. Unless the vaccine actually works.
I like the ramifications of what you are saying. If I have it right, you are saying that vaccinated people have nothing to fear from the unvaccinated.
I wonder, then, what they are afraid of.
Havent you two ignorants read about all the Covid virus variants? Are you living in this world??
Do you think its funny my government is making endless booster jabs to keep up with all the variants???
Yesterday I read here on these pages that an 97 year old granny died from a Covid virus variant because her do-gooder nephew refused to give her all the boosters.
Shame on you guys!!!!
“Negative efficacy” is hilarious (and real.)
More jabs = more likely to be infected by the thing you’re vaccinated against. (And other diseases too!)
There must be a synergistic effect. If everyone is maxvaxxed, they’re all more likely to be infected, which pushes up the infection rate even further! We’ll know the jabs are truly effective when every person on Earth is permanently infected with covid.
All the persons in my surroundings including family have been jabbed several times, and all of them had 2-3 days of fever (Covid) headache, uncomfortable, shortly AFTER the jabs.
I expect they are more open to be sick now, from everything, after the jabs.
US MIC uses 1 trillion and US Big Pharma sucks 2 trillion USD. Connect the dots and conclude these jabs are an accelerator.
Exactly.
The unvaccinated must protect the vaccinated by getting vaccinated with the same vaccine that doesn’t protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated until they too are vaccinated to protect them from the unvaccinated.
It’s a safe and effective business model.
Can’t have a pesky control group cutting about the place all disappointingly and annoyingly healthy, without having been vaccinated.
Don’t forget to use the infamous reliable made-to-order PCR Test to keep track of the neg and pos ppl.
Indeed. Who could forget that nonsense?
Also, let’s not forget Kary Mullis, who got the Nobel Prize for inventing the damned thing, stated categorically that it should never be used as a diagnostic tool because it could find anything in anyone.
Sadly he died in August 2019. Just four months before the ‘pandemic’ arrived. The one man on the planet, perhaps, who could have dismissed use of the PCR test with unquestionable authority.
I suppose it’s time to roll out the #RoachLivesMatter tag and push back against this new affront to Mother Nature
While I support the freedom of religion way out of fascist medicalisation (didn’t we deal with that during the Nuremberg trials?), it has always irked me that you’d need to invoke a religious belief in order to escape medicalisation.
That’s always bugged me too. All those “religious exemptions” are actually entitlements for holy book believers.
A truly sustainable alternative protein (not insect meal or lab-grown meat!) could be legumes.
Legumes cooperate with microbes to fix nitrogen in the soil, enriching it with essential nutrients. This characteristic obviously attracts the attention of scientists who, precisely through observing these plants, hope to improve soil yields by reducing the use of fertilizers. This is explained by Sebastian Schornack, research group director of the ENSA (Enabling Nutrient Symbioses in Agriculture) project at Cambridge University on the Australian website The Conversation.
And they’re good for human health, too:

well, then
Seems Ukrania has agreed to a US proposal of a ’30-day cease-fire’ of the US
proxy War with Russia… The White King wants its pawn to stop trying to win
the chess game against the Black King !
The New Normal Chess ?
As I understand it though, one of Zelensky’s ‘conditions’ for agreeing to this ceasefire was that the US resume arms shipments and military support. Not sure why he would need those if a ceasefire is supposed to be a prelude to peace.
In response to this, it would appear that Trump the Peacemaker has already approved Zelensky’s request and has furthermore ‘unfrozen’ intelligence support ie overhead imagery etc, without which the US-provided, manned and operated weapons systems cannot acquire their targets. Not that I believe it was ever withdrawn, but it’s interesting they would announce it.
Seems a bit of an odd way to structure a ceasefire. Or is this some strange usage of the word ‘ceasefire’ that I wasn’t previously aware of?
Assuming, of course, that this isn’t all theatre.
Yr last half sentence would had been enough. But you decided to write a book.

Your alternative update on #COVID19 for 2025-03-10. CV day of reflection, 9 March 2025; jab injured need justice. UK CV act 2020 vs bill of rights act 1688 (blog, gab, tweet, pic1, pic2, pic3, pic4).
Just saw a mainstream video (MSNBC in the US) claiming that Musk/Trump/republican party want to eliminate or privatize Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. That’s been slowing building as the DOGE bullshit goes along and I figured this would happen once Musk/Trump/republican party really analyzed the US budget relative to their grandiose plan to balance the budget and bring down the national debt. Those three programs are about half the total national budget and when you consider the other half includes about a trillion for the interest on the national debt and the vaunted U.S. imperialist machine, the pickings among the rest of the Executive Department (besides DOD and like USAID, Dept of Education, etc.), are chickenfeed. Shit’s gonna hit the fan now. But I’ve heard most of the MAGA cult is totally willing to give up their social security checks and Medicare/Medicaid coverage first to lead by example.
It would be possible to cut “health” programs by 1/4 by cutting fraud and overcharging. What would really cut the costs would be to actually have a healthy population that didn’t need expensive interventions. But you’d have to tear down the whole sick care system and the food system to achieve that. Won’t happen. They’ll tinker at the edges by negotiating the price of Rx drugs, but they’ll never allow real, cheap treatments that cut into the stock prices of the manufacturers. They’d save billions by removing liability protections for vaccines. The shots would stop the next day. Think of the “diseases” that would disappear with them, like cancers and autoimmune disorders, heart and nervous system disorders, etc.
I’m not sure where you’re getting your information regarding a 25% cut for reducing fraud and overcharging, but certainly the entire medical system in the US, Medicare and Medicaid included, needs to be looked at and reengineered for cost, effectiveness, fairness, and accessibility, and to remove corporate control. But that’s not going to be done by Trump/Musk and their 19 year old whiz kids or the US Congress, as it should. And eliminate is a lot different than tinker.
How do you like your for profit health care now?
The only winners are those who can avoid the care.
And they don’t even win, they subsidize the mess they have to live with, and like it too.
I’ve said for decades that for-profit medicine is one of the worst ideas humanity ever came up with.
A patient cured is a customer lost.
I disagree. Nothing wrong w doctors & others being able to earn a living practicing legitimate health care. Certainly we wouldn’t say that for-profit farming is a bad idea. Certainly the power structure that has reversed the incentives needs to be gotten rid of. That is, much of the profit has been purposely linked to avoiding rational care & even to actual harm.
I’m not talking about people earning a living. I’m talking about publicly traded companies trading profit for safety or hospitals setting quotas for surgeries or insurance companies denying care to boost their profits. Of course earning a good living providing real health care should be the proper goal of the system.
The idiomatic expression “an honest living” comes to mind. (emphasis added)
I like, and generally trusted, my long-time primary care physician. I’ve been avoiding him since the scamdemic.
I tell myself that all of the scamdemic dogma-touting e-mails, followed by aggressively pro-vax e-mails, his practice sent to patients during the scamdemic may be for public-relations purposes. That is, if most of his patients were/are scamdemic thralls who uncritically bought into the COVID Big Lies, perhaps the e-mails were sent to placate and reassure them.
But from past experience, I know that even though he has an independent “concierge” practice, he still Follows the Science and uncritically accepts the “settled” existence of well-identified and studied microscopic pathogens causing disease. He believes the vax mythology.
I’m not sure that an Establishment doctor can make an honest living. 🤔
I have an MD I trust a lot less since 2020 also, but she’s useful for some of my issues, so I see her when needed and say no to most of her tests. My hope is that a parallel REAL health system will arise that we can all support, that will provide an honest living for all involved.
The home doctor is trapped like Christ’s story about the tax collector and the Pharisees.
Its a very long way to finally get yr license, and then your cant get out of the system you agreed to follow when you signed up for this job.
You are perfectly right. It is precisely the disgusting ‘incentives’ that make the whole system change focus on meeting this and that criteria to get a´bonus or promotion or get praised for some stupid statistic.
Social Security has always been the main target of ‘DOGE’… So too
‘the de-regulation of The Economy’ via the gutting of the ‘administrative
state’… Corporations will become ‘self-regulating’, meaning no labor laws,
no environment laws, no ‘red tape’, no transparency, no social accountability
imposed on corporations and companies… The USA will finally become
the country, The New World (of unrepressed Desire), the original
colonisers dreamed of (a Land Without A People, there for the taking)…
On the upside, they could then cut the budget for all those bureaucrats.
Its all run by each individual state, so the only savings are from the elimination of administrative waste, federal and state. You cant eliminate it or privatize it any further than its current state.
I mean, I’m still going with this at the moment,
Humans were created about 400 years ago, any history before that is made up.
The Earth is What ?
“New normal”…anyone feel “normal” anymore? I sure don’t.
I do. I just thing “they” aren’t.
I didn’t feel normal in the old normal.
So for me, it’s situation normal.
Geez, I hate to sound like a Russian official constantly banging on about the imperative to address “root causes” instead of farting and tapdancing around with distal-cause distractions and feints.
But in the US, the “bird flu” hype was preceded, or accompanied, by “measles ‘outbreak'” hype. The latter seemed to be an early gambit of scaring RFK Jr. straight, so to speak: some “unvaccinated” youth in Texas allegedly dies from a fatal case of measles, while RFK Jr. exhibits his feared lunatic-fringe “anti-vax” dereliction of duty.
The script, or plot point, is that the dastardly Trump is warming a “Typhoid Bobby” in his bosom. 🐍
We’ll see if Bobby will indeed be “schooled” and cowed into increasingly “moderating” his views until they’re acceptable to the Establishment, especially the Big Medicine, Big Research, and Big Pharma Divisions. The US simply can’t afford or risk a Scamdemic Gap!
So I again make the tiresome point that as long as there’s a general uncritical acceptance about the ever-present danger of invasive, contagious, and transmissible Phantom Menaces, top-down health scare scams will have flagella. 🦠 💉 😠
I don’t understand about measles. When I was young, measles was just a childhood disease. I’m pretty sure that I had it, as did my brothers and sisters. It didn’t kill us or maim us. It was just part of the normal growing-up process. When, and how, and why did it become this deadly, life-threatening disease?
Yes, exactly. I can’t give a precise start date, but long before the Megadeath Virus of Doom (aka “COVID”) scamdemic, the ground for mass hysteria was systematically prepared.
Off the top of my head, during the final decades of the previous century, the scamdemic-mongers– governments, international “health” agencies, and commercial Big Medicine/Pharma– orchestrated public-relations, aka marketing, campaigns to promote FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) in the form of dire “new” horrible diseases that required extreme health and “lifestyle” adjustment and remedies: HIV/AIDS, Ebola, STD, hepatitis.
But they also began revisiting and revising the concept of routine childhood diseases.
One way to see it is that the collective authorities definitely inculcated a general belief that ordinary “folk”– i.e. medical “laypersons”– were not competent to assess the potential severity of ostensible infectious diseases. Going forward, the very notion that some diseases and disorders are relatively minor was aggressively refuted by medical and public-health authorites, with the usual full-bore mass-media propaganda reinforcement.
Persons inculcated into effectively becoming germophobic and hypochondriacal are a natural market for professions and industries that reap a harvest of profit from identifying and treating “serious”, i.e. potentially and rarely serious, maladies.
Schemes exploiting profitable “mandatory” procedures like tonsillectomies to cure “tonsillitis”, or full wisdom-tooth extraction, reach a point of diminishing returns. But alleged infectious diseases are Phantom Menaces that can be endlessly hyped and re-invented. 😠
Why would a newborn (having no immunity) be given jabs for rare diseases when tests on the mother showed no such danger? This is about greed and profit. Think of the capitalists’ feelings.
One answer to your rhetorical question is that there’s another concept, or justification, in play. As with Einstein’s theories of relativity, perhaps we may speak of a General Application of FUD, complemented by Special Applications of FUD.
I’ve noticed a linguistic, or rhetorical, common denominator in mass-media reports on diverse “crises”: school-related threats of violence and alleged disease outbreaks.
Regarding the former, the “threats of violence” can include actual shootings, but I’m thinking more of reports about indirect or anticipated threats, e.g. “disturbing social media” threats of school violence, or ambiguous and unverified reports that some sinister person was spotted near school grounds, or there were multiple rumors that some student smuggled a weapon into school grounds.
Nowdays, these vague and alarmist reports trigger paranoid draconian reactions from authorities. The indirect threats result in school districts shutting down all district schools until the “treat” is satisfactorily resolved. The rhetorical common denominator is “an abundance of caution“.
My argument is that the widespread promulgation of implementing wide-ranging official reactions, would-be remedies, and solutions further conditions a FUD-bemused public to defer to the “expert” consensus or declaration of “an abundance of caution” as commendable wisdom.
I’m sure most pediatricians reflexively approve of administering vaccinations for alleged sexually-transmitted diseases (STD) to infants in accordance with the manufactured “abundance of caution” doctrine. One reason this doctrine is so useful to the authoritarian controller class is that it neatly sidesteps and obscures all of the negative consequences and nefarious agendas that drive especially healthcare-related “abundance of caution” prophylaxes.

Just to pile on more evidence, this morning the local newsradio station led off with this “Breaking News” report. I’m linking the website version: Philadelphia health officials warn of possible measles exposure at CHOP
I keep beating this horse because it won’t die. To come full circle back to Sandra’s comment, they report this story as if it were about bubonic plague, or tuberculosis. I’m surprised that so far, they haven’t shut down Philly public schools– out of an abundance of caution, of course. 😡
My daughter had measles when she was a couple of months old. The doctor wasn’t at all concerned and told me not to worry. She got over it quickly and that was that – back in the year 2000 before we all lost our minds to the propaganda machine.
When pharma and its controllers found it convenient, by using their owned media outlets.
Bobby junior had to get US senate OK for the job, but President Trump
appointed all the under-secretaries… They’re charge with ‘neutralising’
anything ‘radical’ bobby junior tries to undertake… Trump aint stoopid.
Bobby is unlikley to try anything radical as he’s a member of their club – unless its a psy-op of course, with the usual aims of distracting and confusing people.
Proof demanded. On how Trump-appointed-under-secretaries neutralise RFKjr.

Debunking 3 Flat Earth Myths – YouTube
Persists
Meteorology doesn’t work on a flat Earth. Sorry Eric.
Your link is not debunking.
Debunking is half year sun and half year darkness on the poles, same with moon on the poles. Impossible with a flat earth scenario.
Together with the gravity, holding everything down and into the center of the earth, and the circulations of the earth and moon, makes it a logical equity the whole way through. Fixed.
How do you explain the abundantly clear lack of curvature in the globe model (mountains visible hundreds of miles away which is impossible on a globe, and what physical evidence do we have that the earth is moving ànd circulating?
If the Earth really were flat, cats would have knocked everything off it by now.
Protecting the elderly and venerable and seriously disabled with cuts makes this U.K Labour the worse.
Exactly like the Banking bailout template of 2008 in which they brought in austerity not long after to reduce the bill.
Now the assist dying bill makes sense.
Student protests in Belgrade? The fab student protests in the sixties were a mystery to me at the time. Recently I read Engdahl’s Gods of Money and at last I understand – De Gaulle was hip to the machinations of Wall Street and had to be got rid of. Call up the students, the energetic, virtue signalling but totally naive revolutionaries of utopia. Job done.
Ever heard of too much time on your hands, someone conveniently started a Vietnam war.
To save some of your time- I’ve yet to understand any of your replies!
First, some years ago now, I was overusing the word “Orwellian” – then I started making a few too many references to our new realities as “surreal” – lately the only word that comes readily to mind is – “Kafkaesque.” I’m not really sure where to look for the next most appropriate – “descriptor?”
How about – psychotopian?
Satanic.

The Amish and the cockroach have one thing in common
They both want to be left alone..
Except the roach is like a thief that wants to be left alone in your house, mostly when you are a sleep.
Wait…are we talking about roaches or Democrats…but I digress.
The latest birb flue b.s. is the recall of contaminated cat food. In the USA several big batches of cat food have been recalled but oops butter fingers bound to be that some find their way elsewhere. So if you keep your cats indoors in case they catch an asymptomatic starling, you’ll still get got with the Whiskasdemic.
Good luck with that. Cats, unlike dogs, have an incredible sense of what should or shouldn’t be eaten. Anything ‘toxic’ in her opinion, she’ll just turn her nose up, wave a paw in disgust and walk away. Funnily enough, the more expensive and ‘no added crap’ the foods claim to be, the less interested she is. And her favourite food is, and has always been tinned tuna for human consumption – and for two or three days of food it’s half the price of official cat food.
I have found the same to be true…mine has an acute fondness for canned pink salmon, which is fairly cheap as it seems humans have lost a desire for it.
I made some salmon cakes with canned pink salmon just last week. It’s very good.
I’ll suggest that to my kitty…
Catastrophic – the latest cat virus.
How dare those Amish think they can live a healthy, self-sufficient lifestyle?
No TV for mass brainwashing,
Teaching their children useful life skills in private Amish schools,
Drinking raw unpateurised milk,
Growing their own food and rearing animals,
Doing manual labour to build homes and barns while maintaining and repairing them – no need to join a gym,
A sense of close community,
No mortgages, no bank loans, no 9 to 5…..no debt slavery.
It was only a matter of time before the crosshairs of the State apparatus homed in on them. When the next depression rolls in, a lot of people will be wishing they had a bit of land along with the skills and knowledge the Amish do. Those skills, mainly lost now, ensured several million people got by relatively unscathed during the last depression in 1930s America.
The Amish Luddites only seem like a solution if you imagine it is physically impossible to harness technology in an egalitarian, universally beneficial fashion – in which case, what are you doing here? Don’t you have a tree house to build and live in all by yourself in the nearest wilderness?
I didn’t know that the Amish lived alone playing at Tarzan and Jane in the wilderness.
When you have figured out, with the backing of a decent sized army at least, how to take back control of technology, fuel production, energy generation, the internet, communications devices and infrastructure for the benefit of we the people, do let me know. Send me an email or if I have already moved to my Plan B by then, a carrier pigeon would do.
“…post-industrial technology in an egalitarian, universally beneficial fashion…”
Happy?
It is not necessary to have the full, fool-proof master plan of everything in the whole world before anything is feasible. That is a silly, defeatist canard. All that is needed is for the people to be aware of the ways in which society could be organized to culminate transparent, democratic control of all the means of empowerment, economic, political or otherwise. They are never going to repress the whole population if we simply demanded something different.
To be clear, I have no problem with the Amish. By all accounts, they seem like more decent people than the average, but anyone can see their way of life is not the most fulfilling the global community of human beings is capable of. That is all.
Anyone can see the Amish and their ilk are not going to “maximise” GDP, rigged competition and profit for cronies. Therefore, they must be undermined.
I agree with you that they cannot take the bulk of humanity if we all stand up and say “No.” However, since too many are either brainwashed to trust the system, apathetic or willing to ‘go along to get along’ then the numbers are just not there.
I have said it before but I will say it again, barring a miracle, the best thing that can happen is the financial system collapses. It will happen when confidence is lost in the system and no amount of quantative easing (money printing) will prevent it. That collapse needs to occur before the controllers have CBDC in place, assuming that is still the plan, otherwise it is game over.
Therefore, an uncontrolled demolition of the economy would be better than a controlled one. Obviously, it will bring hardship, but it will shake the sleeping masses to the core and then and only then will there be an opportunity for change. Once people are lulled out of their false sense of security and their comfort zone, they demand change.
I am not black-pilled but my view is, it is better to have a Plan B than not have one. If TSHF then it will be easier to get by until things settle down.
I find myself more and more desiring a small piece of land where I can grow vegetables and have a few animals. Closely followed by tossing my iPhone and iPad into the nearest body of water…
I have 1000 m2, not much, but enough to enjoy God’s gifts to us all; vegetables, fruits, flowers, trees.
It had been a pleasure to jump out on the country near the sea and near water, and see it all grow so tasteful.
I didnt knew they had such a jolly good time and life in for example the Amish community.and other similar.
But the demons dont like this connection to the real stuff, which we can also can see in the cases the Amish community have with ‘Authorities’.
Part of the demonstration that populism=disaster and everything’s really so much better under a technocracy:
https://www.wired.com/story/whats-driving-teslas-woes/
The deep state pumped Tesla and Musk up and they can deflate him just as easily. It’s only their propaganda that has ever pretended it had anything to do with Musk’s personality and now, like his success was supposedly down to his genius, his failure will be down to his toxicity. It’s the same narrative flipped around.
Also: watch out for Carney and the “trade war” with Trump. This is technocracy vs. populism in microcosm. Somehow Carney’s going to have an engineered triumph although how exactly remains to be seen.
Interesting how all those Canadian ‘patriots’ don’t seem to mind being run by the former head of the Bank of England.
There is a real cuck in Kanuck…
Interesting that the controllers have placed the ‘populist’ vs the ‘technocrat’ across neighbouring borders where a ‘trade war’ has already been ignited ie scripted.
Perhaps, the plan is to hand them diametrically opposed scripts to see which side the public cheer on more, just more distraction while continuing the roll-out out the digital prison which all sides of the ideological/political/East West divide are fully on board with. Or it will just be another act in the play to impoverish North Americans and Westerners in general through increased costs thereby reducing demand for goods and services. Squeeze the last vestiges of disposible income from those considered the most free and eventually make them dependent upon the State.
It always was a plan to bring a brand of equality to the world through Agenda 2030 and the SDGs but the bit they didn’t mention was it is to be achieved by levelling down the developed world, not by levelling up the developing one.
That was pretty much right on target…
levelling down = reset
Equality for the 90%, across the West.

Can’t believe they haven’t got an mRNA jab for the chickens yet to safe and effective them, thereafter to be food I guess?
They have it, the Trump administration has announced they will not allow it.
The bird flue is a hoax…completely made up. All to spread fear and control. Milk from cows is for calves. If you study the original human design and nutrition then you must know that people can be breatharians and ideally if eating luve on fruit or raw food as second best choice
It’s a long way from the ideal to the real; it’s a journey almost never made.
“Original human design” I thought we evolved.
How are they gonna market that stuff?
Cockmilk? Nah. Don’t think that’ll catch on _ _ _ _ _ then again, Cocka Cola might have potential
Cockmilk….LOL…!!!!
paging Slurms MacKensie!
Coca (leaf) was common in many products including Coca Cola. It is still legal and in common usage in a few S. American countries. In “advanced” countries, the contents of most food, drinks, medicines, cosmetics, toiletries, etc. are “trade secrets”. I.e., just trust your government overlords.
Tedious length has been a necessary requirement of these viral scare pieces from the start. Bamboozle with the sheer weight of words is the tactic. I caught “zoonotic” or something like that in the flood of vomit and thought, “Nah that’s enough of that!”
Of course the purveyors of this puke can always say “Well you didn’t read the whole thing!” They can always say this as in, “You only read the first 458 pages. You didn’t see the vital bit on page 459!” Etc.
The attack on the Amish is all about destroying a control group for vaccines. There’s never been a control group study that compares the overall health of the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated (how revealing!) but, as people started realising, the Amish allowed at least some sort of common sense comparison – and clearly, despite the attempts of some of the MSM to claim otherwise, the Amish haven’t been experiencing some sort of health armageddon during the last century, or in 2020-22 specifically. It couldn’t be allowed to carry on like that. They’ve identified every “anti-vax” argument that gained some traction and are working through eliminating them – including ultimately the ability to make any such arguments at all.
Of course party politics is a charade but here’s Alastair Campbell proclaiming JD Vance the most hated man in England:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWfN7UYkmXM
He might want to look closer to home for that title – like his former boss. BTW the letter ‘j’ is one in numerology as is the letter ‘a’ so JD VANCE is also ‘advance’ i.e. what he’s there do to do with the agenda. Probably just another bizarre coincidence though….
Coincidence is a train wreck.
Dunno about the tiny udders, but where the hell will they find milk pails small enough to fit under them?
Adam Schiff’s balls?
Just squish them under foot and utilise the juice, a bit like the old stomping grapes for wine method 😉
Did you know that cockroach milk is four times as nutritious as cows’ milk?
Cows milk is now nutritious???????? that was oned delivered to your door step or brought in supermarkets. LOL
That is some sales pitch.
Drink pure shite with new shite whilst pretending the old shite is really healthy.
“Milk it does a body good”…not yours apparently.
