So I’ve got some good news and some bad news.
I’ll give you that news in just a minute, but, first, I need to do a recap for any readers just now tuning in. Regular readers, please bear with me, or just skip down to below the Spiegel image, because a bit of repetition follows.
OK, here we go with the recap.
As I explained in my previous column a few days ago, Germany’s supreme court has refused to issue a ruling on my appeal to overturn the overturning of my acquittal on bogus “hate crime” charges.
So that’s it. My “hate crime” conviction stands.
The “hate crime” is the cover artwork of my book, The Rise of the New Normal Reich: Consent Factory Essays, Vol. III (2020-2021).
I can’t show you a picture of the book, because, if I did, the authorities would probably send the police to raid my home again, and terrorize my wife, and our cats, as they did in November of 2025.
So, instead, as in my previous column, here’s a picture of an issue of Der Spiegel.
My book cover art is more or less exactly like that, except the swastika on my book is behind a medical-looking mask, instead of a German flag, as on the Spiegel cover. The German authorities are not prosecuting Der Spiegel. They are prosecuting me, because I compared them to the Nazis, instead of comparing the AfD to the Nazis.
OK, that’s the recap. Now, the good news, and the bad news.
The bad news is, I am now, officially, a criminal, with a criminal record, in Germany. And my book is officially a crime in Germany. Selling my book is a crime in Germany. Advertising my book is a crime in Germany. Reading my book is a crime in Germany.
I am the publisher of this criminal book, and I live and work in Germany, and thus, I have no choice but to withdraw the book from distribution.
If I do not withdraw it, the German authorities will prosecute me, over and over, and they’ll send the police to raid my home, and terrorize my wife, and our cats, over and over, and impose fines on me until I am totally bankrupt, or possibly even send me to prison. And it’s not just my wife and the cats I’m thinking about.
I have been dealing with these tyrants for going on three years now, which has taken up a lot of my time and energy, and caused a lot of stress, which probably contributed to the illness that put me in the hospital recently.
OK, let me get the good news in here, before this column gets too depressing.
The good news is, Skyhorse Publishing is going to publish a second edition of the book. And thus, The Rise of the New Normal Reich: Consent Factory Essays, Vol. III (2020-2021) will remain in print and available worldwide.
Skyhorse Publishing, Inc., is an American independent publisher in New York City (i.e., not in Germany), and the publisher of my most recent collection of essays, Fear and Loathing in the New Normal Reich: Consent Factory Essays, Vol. IV (2022-2024). My dystopian novel, Zone 23, is published by Arcade Publishing, a Skyhorse imprint.
I am extremely grateful to Skyhorse Publishing, and to its president and publisher, Tony Lyons, for coming to the rescue and keeping this book in print.
OK, now a little more bad news.
As I mentioned, I’ve been doing legal battle with the German authorities and courts for almost three years now. I entered into this battle with a few naive assumptions.
When I first learned that I was under criminal investigation for two tweets about the Covid mask mandates, I assumed that a German court would vindicate me, because I understand the relevant legal statute. A German court did. The Berlin District Court acquitted me in January 2024, but the Berlin District Prosecutor appealed the verdict, and the Berlin Appellate Court overturned my acquittal.
At that point, it was clear that the German authorities and courts have no respect for the rule of law, or Germany’s constitution, or basic democratic rights, like freedom of speech and artistic expression. To the German authorities and courts, the law is just a weapon, a cudgel they can use on anyone they perceive as their political or ideological enemy.
They will openly, brazenly, apply double standards (see the Spiegel cover above) and pervert the law however they have to in order to persecute their enemies. They do not care, not at all, if it makes them look like hypocrites, or … well, you know, fascists.
That, in my opinion, is pretty bad news.
The other bad news is, throughout this three-year-long nightmare, I kept waiting for the German legal community to speak out about the blatantly authoritarian behavior of the German authorities and the courts, and it never happened. They did not speak out. Apart from a few notable exceptions—for example, Clivia von Dewitz, a judge, author, and an expert on Germany’s statutes regarding the use of Nazi symbols, who published several articles about my case—the silence from the legal community has been deafening.
The German press have been likewise unwilling to hold the authorities and courts to account. Again, with a few notable exceptions—independent outlets and journalists like Multipolar, Aya Velázquez, Bastian Barucker, Ralf Hutter, Mathias Bröckers, and others, and a few mainstream newspapers like Die Zeit, Berliner Zeitung, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung—the German press have conducted themselves like the proverbial Goebbelsian piano.

This is not a healthy, democratic culture. This is a nascent totalitarian culture.
If this were only the state of affairs here in Germany … well, that would be one thing. Unfortunately, it is not. This type of authoritarian behavior is on display throughout the West, in the U.K., the U.S.A., and elsewhere. The targets of the repression differ, but the totalitarian tactics and the messaging are the same.
Yes, messaging. The Powers That Be throughout the West are sending us a message. They have been sending us this message for years. They sent it during the Covid era. They sent it during the Russiagate era. They sent it in Gaza.
Most of us can’t hear it, because we think it is coming from “the other side.” It isn’t.
Both “sides” are sending us the message. Because both “sides” are sides of the same global system. A system that doesn’t need to pretend to respect our democratic rights anymore.

I’m a satirist, so a lot of people assume that I am just indulging in hyperbole when I come up with nicknames like “GloboCap” and book titles like “The Rise of the New Normal Reich.” I am not just indulging in hyperbole.
At this point, if you cannot see that brick wall, if you cannot perceive how societies are being radically restructured, how the democratic rights we thought we had are being stripped away, if you cannot sense the new, nascent form of totalitarianism coming into being, well, I don’t know how to get through to you, exactly.
In any event, that’s my news…the news about the book, and my criminal status.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to my “legal defense fund” and otherwise supported me during these last three years. Whatever I have achieved with this legal battle so far, I could not have done it without your support. Seriously, I am your debt forever … spiritually, I mean. I can’t repay you with money. By the time the Germans get through with me, I’ll be fortunate if I can still pay my rent.

I’m sorry, but since the situation in the German “alternative” media is getting worse by the day and there are virtually no real alternative media outlets left in my home country today, I have to vehemently disagree with CJ on a few points.
Aya Velazquez is not an “alternative” or “independent” “journalist.” She is a gatekeeper, and that’s a fact. During the “coronavirus pandemic,” she lashed out at critics of coronavirus measures as if there were no tomorrow. Then she—supposedly—suddenly switched “sides” and aligned herself with the critics. No, she did not. In German, this is called “Schadensbegrenzung”, “damage control”: Once the elites and authorities realized they could no longer withhold certain information—meaning it had already entered the public sphere—they enlisted gatekeepers like Velazquez, who operate according to the principle of classic “limited hangouts”: Only ancient information that has long been known is rehashed—everything else is delayed and withheld.
Velazquez regularly shares posts on “X” from other fake-alternative outlets such as “Apollo News,” which was artificially made to appear to have “wide reach” with substantial funding from an investor named Thorsten Kraemer. These are not alternative journalists—they, too, are gatekeepers, disinformers, political influencers, agitators, and propagandists who constantly promote the “AfD”—this party is a controlled opposition. The intelligence agencies are, of course, also involved here. She also shares tweets from one of the worst gatekeepers of all, Julian Reichelt, who comes from a mainstream tabloid (“Bild”) and whose outlet “Nius” was built up with hundreds of thousands of euros from one of Germany’s richest men, the investor Frank Gotthardt. “Nius” and “Apollo News” work closely together—this is a scam targeting the audience, a deception of the public.
Bastian Barucker is not an alternative journalist either, but rather another gatekeeper. It’s no coincidence that he, similiar to Velazquez, consistently presents his audience with nothing but ancient information that has been freely available for years, yet pretends it’s earth-shattering, sensational news or a “reassessment” of the COVID-19 era. Nothing could be further from the truth. Barucker, too, deliberately withholds extremely important, relevant information about current, far more urgent developments.
Unfortunately, this also applies to Paul Schreyer of “Multipolar.” He participated in a government psyop called “RKI Protocols,” also known as “RKI Leaks.” Absolutely nothing was “leaked” there—not a single thing. It was a farce, a hoax, a scam. These so-called “leaks” also presented nothing but ancient information that had already been in the public domain for four or five years by that point. All the background details of the “pandemic” were deliberately omitted from these “leaks.” Not a word about those involved, not a word about the Great Reset, not a word about Event 201, not a word about the Gates and Rockefeller Foundations, not a word about the World Economic Forum, etc., etc. That was intentional. Schreyer/Multipolar and Velazquez lied to their readers, claiming these were “sensational revelations.”
I am sincerely sorry for CJ’s situation. However, it is not helpful—on the contrary—when he promotes fake-alternative journalists like Velazquez, Barucker, or Schreyer in his articles; these individuals lead their audience by the nose, withhold important findings and research, and have, incidentally, formed a cartel—what Iain Davis or James Corbett refer to as “MAM”: “Mainstream Alternative Media.”
As already mentioned: Since the situation in Germany is rapidly worsening for genuine, reputable, and honest alternative journalists and authors—and since we can barely make a dent or get our voices heard anymore—I have no choice but to expose the names mentioned by CJ for what they are: fraudsters, fakers, gatekeepers, and “limited hangouts.”

Your stance on the alt media in Germany – in the German language realm as a whole actually – resonates with me. I sometimes read articles on Swiss Uncut News which, though presenting nuggets not found elsewhere, also fails to do deep dives on what matters.

The rise of authoritarianism in the West, is no better demonstrated that what’s happening in Germany right now – its a dangerous time for those who speak out against it in Europe and the USA/Britain – folk are being arrested and locked up on trumped up charges – sentences are being dished out by complicit judges, and police forces are beating folk up with a kind of zealousness I haven’t seen for years.
Its good your book is being published abroad, that will at least give you some income, unless the German authorities freeze your bank accounts, the EU of which Germany is a major player – loves to place harsh sanctions on EU citizens who speak out against its leaders.
Also Germany – is edging ever closer to an open war with Russia via supplying Ukraine with weapons and aid, as is the EU in general – we’ve seen how the EU can manipulate elections in the likes of Romania – Moldova, and more recently Estonia, and it can also remove popular opposition figures – and even whole parties via again trumped up charges.
So just be careful – you are a now classed as a dissident, which for me is a badge of honour – but a dangerous one right now to wear proudly – in Germany or in much of the West in general.
As CJ Hopkins observes, if people cannot see the wall it is hard to believe they ever will. There is nothing of any real value in our political and judicial systems. Politics is theatre designed to keep the people believing in a fake polity and the courts are nothing but weapons used to defend the establishment. The system hasn’t been corrupted, corruption is the system. It is irredeemable. We have to build something better.

Case in point. In Montreal there was recently a deadly shooting. The media reported it. What the media did not report is that the target was a huge Jewish-owned porn empire, run by a rabbi from Ottawa.
NYT write a Rabbi was shot dead, other news call it ‘a civilian killed’.

Profiting from, and thereby contributing to, the deleterious, manufactured, decay of a nation’s economy, culture and society smacks of the sort of behaviour once criticized by an infamous fascist German demagogue and national leader – whose extreme-reactionary and equally-criminal response led to one of the century’s most heinous acts of ethnic cleansing and mass murder. I wonder how many of those who profited by the defeat and economic exploitation of Germany following WWI, actually suffered the consequences of the resultant scapegoating campaign? I would imagine that those with the money to leave the country during this period would have done so. Are we witnessing a similar pattern, even as the very same sort of profiteering extortionists provoke predictable reactionary responses, only to leave the underclass (irrespective of cultural or religious affinity) to suffer the consequences?

One thing they ‘seem’ to have in common, apart from their love of beer and good sausages, is their need for control.
That said, my Dear wife doesn’t like beer or sausages, but as for control, well, I just roll with the ‘punches.’

Before I knew of Off-G, in the early days of Covid, I found C.J.’s excellent, enlightening articles at the DissidentVoice website — which I still visit, although the site is not what it used to be. With so much madness coming from all directions, it was refreshing and encouraging to find something honest and intelligent.

C.J Hopkins is a very brave man and full credit to him for standing up for what is right.
However, I have seen neither a solitary sentence nor word from Off guardian at the abject injustice being dished out to Dr. Reiner Fuellmilch who is being persecuted for revealing to the world the tyranny being imposed on people by the very same people who are persecuting C.J H.
Reckon the owners (no prizes for guessing who They might be) of Big pHarmer, rather than the German hierarchy, might have their fingers in that filthy pie.
The hierachy are the heirs of the National Socialists who were supported by Wall Street, Standard Oil, IBM, Ford, Chase Manhattan and the Rockfellers/ City of London. Nothing has changed !
What I have seen of Fuellmilch sounds professional. But the two sides must not be mixed.
Fullmilch cannot hide behind “freedom” if he at the same time made a criminal case, and Fuellmllch legal case against the Corona scam isnt necessary compromised by his eventual embezzlement.
Seconded, although subsequent criminal activity does undermine previous attempts at shining a light where it needs to be focused.
I also appreciated the Corona investigation and the hope of it getting the people who ought to be in the dock where they ought to be.Seems it didn’t work and with the brick wall backdrop, very disappointing, but not a great surprise. But whatever fine attempts that have gone before, there is no excuse for the misuse of funds and no surprise if you get dealt with unusually harshly.
It does seem that to conflate C J Hopkins’ mistreatment with Reiner Fullmilch’s case is not appropriate.

I suggest you read the entirety ofthe article since it’s precisely the point that they cannot openly prosecute him because of his exposure of the Scamdemic that they have conjured up false charges against him to discredit him. Nothing new in this approach since time immemorial .
I appreciate his work and dont want to discredit him. I even do not take the criminal charges at face value.
But facts are facts whatever these facts are and were.
Dr. Fuellmich is on a sunny beach, sipping a Piña Colada like he just “defeated international bureaucracy” in a fantasy novel, laughing dramatically at absolutely all the idiots who donated for some imaginary court case.
