📌 The plan was always for the US (and Israel?) to shame and humiliate itself with this war and thus expedite the “collapse of the empire” and its reforming as “anti-empire” as I believe OG or Iain Davis said on X recently.
📌Trump was probably not made aware of this beforehand. I think the suggestion by the panel that he was assured by his own advisors the Strait of Hormuz would not be closed is very possible. They either lied to him as part of the set up or they were incompetent.
📌I think this could easily become a forever “war” used as the excuse for all the deprivations and shortages they have been trying to introduce and normalise since covid.
📌They are going to try and make this the big catalyst for fundamental change covid was intended to be but failed to deliver. – Our best hope is this one fails too. But I’m not hopeful.

There has been repeated conflict between Trump and the Supreme Court. Trump’s administration has asserted that Supreme Ct rulings affecting Executive Authority are “recommendations” not rulings to which he is obliged to comply.
According to the story, the Supreme Court met in emergency session last night at the behest of the Solicitor General, the 4th most powerful member of the DOJ & reached their verdict, complete w a substantial written ruling which seems to have been cooking for quite awhile. Remember disagreements w the Court re: Immigration enforcement/ICE, and repeated rulings about tariffs– and possibly the Iran business.
Anyway it’s all sposed to hit the public fan Saturday AM, and the administration is already considering how to answer it.
If this is real & Trump defies it a motion for impeachment would not be surprising.

It has just been reported that the US forces have struck and destroyed all of Iran’s military installations on Kharg Island. They have left the oil production facilities intact and appear to be en route to Kharg Island with their Marine expeditionary forces that departed Japan very recently. More naval destroyers and 4500 Marines it seems will attempt to capture and occupy this ultimately essential part of Iran’s oil empire.
So will Iran allow them to do so and lose the ability to sell their oil?
Or will they burn their boots and destroy their own breadbasket to repel the invaders.
Watching intently to see who flinches first and why, as I believe this could be the most revealing
moment of this war.
