I have listened to this IMA. I am really saddened by the conversation. Around 2008 I fell down a black pill transhumanism hole and followed a ton of transhumanists, listened to their conferences, podcasts and read a lot of blogs. This conversation is, on their side, almost 20 years old. You are all late to the party.
Please look into Max More’s work. I has stated in the past that the to fight against transhumanism we are going to have to use transhumanist technology. This is a prisoners dilemma and or a technological double bind scenario. If “our enemies” are going to use a technology that is going to annihilate us, the only way to fight back is to use that tech back. If other fighters start using it knowing that they will eventually be corrupted by it should we still ally with those people who adopt transhumanist tech.
As the editor of the series I have seen the death of the internet happen over the 2 years it took me to find the images needed to edit the movie. There were a lot of abstract moments, where I found myself looking for images across half a dozen search engines (presearch, duckduckgo, brave, google, bing, yahoo, and searx over a VPN) and getting nothing. The one I most remember was using the search query “wwii berlin wall grafitti” and getting a german furniture store amongst the first 3 results. And 0 berlin wall graffiti images among results (it might be due to my Canadian internet and my intolerable unvaxxed status, idk). When I asked ChatGPT however, it would find it, not always, but more times than the search engines would be able to find them.
Resources are another reason for the attraction towards transhumanist tech. There were moments where, even using the stock images sites, I couldn’t find what I needed. Throughout the part of series I edited used “prompted AI” images about a dozen times. In chapter 17, I did it it simply because there was no budget for an illustrator. I would have loved to hire an illustrator. But we did not have the money. I didn’t feel good about it, we should be creating a circular economy, but our own community doesn’t practice this as a discipline.
The IMA conversation was good, but I think the most important point was missed. The problem is, not the use of the tech, but he values behind the use. Where is the line. When it came to the vaccines, the bodily autonomy was an easy, concrete, visible argument to spread. What is the equivalent when it comes to transhumanist tech.
There are a couple of obstacles that need to be overcome to be able to get this to stick in the general community. I am unfortunately black pilled enough to believe that the largest obstacle will never be overcome by the “herding cats” nature of “our” community. The largest one being, “speaking in one voice”. I am so grateful for the IMA; different perspectives; different habits; all important qualities for discernment. But, unfortunately every meeting ends in an open ended way, making “us” more confused than when we started. I think that (maybe, possibly) structuring the meetings with a call to action (C2A), and in the subsequent meetings having a period of gathering info from the C2A. Creating an iterative environment where we can work through the problems that might arise while using the new tech.
Being bombarded by “useless info” about origins, networks, possible outcomes, etc. doesn’t help when it comes to the fact that the world “will” use this tech despite our resistance. If you think you can avoid it, ask yourself how many people in your network use any tech from the technocrats (google IOT, apple IOT, samsung IOT, etc.). How do you avoid the digital ID if you are required to network with the government (driver/construction/business liscences/permits/etc.). There are hard moral lines. those lines need to be communicated in one voice. And there could be some bill of rights style set of values that might help guide the “gen pop” to using this tech in a “moral” way.
Here are some suggestions of topics that might help define some of those hard lines.

Yet, they were blindsided when the resistance continued to launch heavy rockets deep into the settlements of occupied northern Palestine, even striking strategic targets as far as Haifa.
Consequently, the official promises to return settlers safely to the north have completely evaporated.
It has become undeniably clear that there will be no security for the settlers of northern occupied Palestine as long as the people of south Lebanon cannot live in peace and safety.
Ultimately, with Israeli soldiers falling daily, voices within Israel are increasingly crying out against what they see as a futile war, realizing that completely eliminating the resistance is an impossible goal.
Desperate for any semblance of victory to show a frustrated public, the military pushed a short distance across the border, planted a flag on an empty ruin, snapped some photos, and retreated.
They are trying to spin a brief trespass into a historic achievement, but the reality is that Israel and its army are trapped in a strategic quagmire.

I started watching the show with low expectations….at the end I’m not sure if they were met.
One thing is certain, the show doesn’t provide information for a good informed decision to draw a line in the sand regarding AI, because the crucial topic of AI Safety hasn’t been mentioned at all.
Most panelists would do their audiences a big favor to educate themselves about AI because the problem is much bigger than they have presented and maybe they can start with a well sourced article here.

Totally agree! I have never argued with or resisted the police, always been polite, and I’ve never had a handgun emptied into my chest because of it. Plenty of people resisting have been gunned down though, the videos are endless. It’s a lot easier to claim your rights in a court of law than on the side of the road in a pool of blood.

I know. I am not defending the action, just trying to understand the situation of both sides.
Police in British Columbia used to be people in the community who knew the place well. Now , they’re primarily from countries with very different values and customs, so they don’t necessarily understand or have allegiance to the people they “serve”. These guys tend to be the “short tempered maniacs” in my limited experience , but only if you don’t immediately follow an order without question. (I”m not talking about emergency situations here). The Canadian government is now hiring 71,500 military , most of them new immigrants; this after having gutted the military during the past two decades…. In February 2026, the government launched a new Express Entry priority category for highly skilled foreign military applicants. While simultaneously they are attempting confiscation of guns from law abiding gun owners. You tell me what is happening .

But I have stopped worrying about AI, digital ID, and everything else for a long time, after I realized that almost the entire opposition (each kind and group separately) has decided that the victory over digital slavery is, against the backdrop of tens or hundreds of thousands of years of people without daily connection to the internet and only 36 years with internet, to be a future only with people connected to the internet.
I know at least 3 things:
for thousand of years, people’s brains (and whatever else is there – soul, higher self, or just biological tissue) have not been connected to network for many hours every day,
from 36 years they are connected (with emergence – laptops, emergence of social networks, smartphones for 17 years..),
and the opposition says that the thousand of years are over, the issue has been resolved and people will be connected in the future if they want (of course they want, all of them).
They, the opposition, do not mind this, and if they have a say in the development of civilization, they would allow it (this is what a freedom, free choise looks like, because here we are in a more libertarian-oriented territory, after all.) They do not encourage the opposite, nor do they oppose children growing up in it. As long as there is no obligation, coercion, violence, they are not against the free and voluntary use (and evolution) of these technologies (and the growing up of the children in this freak show reality).
And, since, realistically speaking, there is no hypothetical chance of any victory over the big bad controllers, the opposition considers the current state of the brains-internet connection to be vital (because otherwise we will be informationally behind, which would be fatal in our battle against technocrats, thanks to whom we have the current brains-internet connection and can use it against them).
And besided, how will this affect civilization, will it not colapse, this anti-internet talks smell like a deindustrialization narrative. And this excessive concern of yours for children, just when the TPTB has made a noise to the sky to advance their plan for digita ID, diesn’t make you a troll, Armistice, mm?

Thousands of years ended 36 years ago and everything is decided, come to your sences, grow up and let’s talk about serious, important, current threats such a digital ID in internet (and outside) instead of the childish conversation about irretrievably lost past of humanity (36 long years ago). “A US court judge has ordered the removal of US President Donald Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center, evoking another angry reaction from the Republican president.
The Kennedy Center, originally called the National Cultural Center, was renamed in 1964 to honor former Democratic US President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.
Kennedy Center Board members voted in December 2025 to change the name to “Trump Kennedy Center” in honor of the incumbent US president.
A federal judge, however, blocked the Kennedy Center from adding Trump’s name, saying that the Washington, D.C. arts complex was named for the late president.
In a ruling on Friday, US District Court Judge Christopher Cooper also temporarily blocked the administration from closing the Kennedy Center for a planned two-year renovation that was slated to begin in July. He ordered that all the signage and online material that refer to the Center as the “Trump Kennedy Center,” or anything similar, must be removed within 14 days.”

A dedicated HDD for every human on the planet, including all those Pokemon go images of your home you graciously gave them, and are still giving them as you walk around with your phone camera permissions open and your robo-vacuum cleaner active lol. But that’s just speculation, the job losses aren’t, they have been ongoing since the great oil shock of 2008 where $140 a barrel exposed the fragility of the way we do business on this planet. AI is the latest bubble, so everyone is chattering about it. So chatter away.
