ChatGPT Saves the World

Todd Hayen

Oh my, what, me worry? What do any of us have to worry about? The world is on the brink of destruction, we may be entering WW 3 at any moment, the economy is collapsing with Evil Orange Man tariffs, the Evil KGB Man in Russia (aka Soviet Union) is about to invade Europe because he and Orange Man are ensconced in a supernatural bro-love relationship.

Zelenskyy is the new hero of the world for taking on the Orange Man in debate, with his eye-rolls and bitch-shaming body language. We are doomed!

No! Call in ChatGPT to set it all straight for us! He/She/It knows the answers! She/It/He can answer any question we put to it! Just like God used to do for us, ChatGPT can now do! All knowing, all wisdom, all perfection! Problem solved!!

Although I am certain all this has faded into the blurry and diaphanous past by now, at the time, it was a common sight on social media to see people singing the praises of ChatGPT and its take on the Zelenskyy/Trump/Vance debacle, which is now ancient history. Excitable comments like, “They ran the whole thing through ChatGPT, and it unequivocally said Trump was an incorrigible bully and Zelenskyy was a consummate hero!!” It was as if someone had conjured up Jesus himself to hear his take on the debate. How lovely.

First of all, I seriously doubt if the entire interview was input into the great AI Oracle. And even if it was, it would have only been a transcription, devoid of any visual cues to include in the analysis—the body language between all parties would be quite important in achieving any sort of reliable results. The tone of voice would have an impact as well in determining some pretty key elements in the demeanour of the participants. And who in hell trusts computer AI to make assessments of human behaviour and character? I sure as hell would not. What a complete piece of crap idea.

But it is so typical, isn’t it? Considering these people who share the idea that Trump is an evil bully, what better way to verify their rather loony perception of Trump’s behaviour than with a piece of crap AI contraption that isn’t even given the proper or complete information to make an assessment.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I do believe that ChatGPT is brilliant (I have now discovered Grok 3, which I am even more impressed with), but I would never fall back on some system that could so easily be manipulated to give biased answers (just program it to hate Trump and there ‘ya go). Also, how could anyone with a sound mind rely on a computer to tell them who is a bully and who isn’t? Anyone who would, seems a bit out of touch with their own humanity.

This all just solidifies my belief that the whole AI chatbot thing is going to be the first bit of technology successful in destroying what it means to be a human. Most people probably think it is the physical robots that will end the world, the Terminator types with their physical strength and ability to walk through walls, jump over buildings, and kill anything they come into contact with. That will be the end. Maybe there is some truth in that, but superior physicality can be fought with bigger weapons, stronger defences, and maybe even wittier minds.

A computer that competes with the way we put words together wields the mightiest weapon by far—the pen is greater than the sword, as they say. It is our loss of mind, loss of wits, and loss of communication through the written word that will kill us quicker than a germ. The chatbots that can research faster than light, come up with detailed facts quicker than they can type them out and actually have a conversation with you are going to make the human mind obsolete over time—and probably a very short time at that.

I think this will be quicker than losing our soul, which is also being chipped away at with art and music AI and in a plethora of other technological advances. The loss of human wit and human intellectual ability through chatbots I think will be, to our awareness, a slow death—and probably a fairly painful one. It will go fast, though, in the long run.

Soon all manner of writing will be handed over to the bots. Not just nonfiction (that will be the first to go, of course) but fiction as well. All styles will be artificial. (I am sure one of the next things we will see are novels written “in the style of.”) Classic artists in the public domain will be stripped of all decency first—Dickens, Shakespeare, Hemmingway—then the contemporary litterateurs such as Danielle Steele, Stephen King, John Grisham, and the like. Nothing will come out that can be described as “human style”—lost forever will be human opinion, human thought, and human literary creation. And the funny thing about this is no one will notice, and certainly no one will give a gnat’s butt hair of concern over it. Boom. Done.

If you were a nihilist (as I am quickly becoming), it would all be rather humourous watching it all go down. People complain that God is dead, that if there were a God He would never let this happen. The greatest gift God gave his human creation was free will, and the mind to determine what best course of action free will offered us. I don’t think God is a nihilist, so I don’t think He is laughing, but He is probably shaking his head, wondering why His creation is so stupid.

I had a dream once where rats took over the world. There were so many that there was nothing left but rats. In fact, the planet itself didn’t exist because the rats ate all of it in its entirety. There was just this enormous round ball of pure rats writhing around as they drifted through the cosmos.

Obviously, they started eating each other, and finally, over a bit of time, there was nothing left but one rat. And it died of loneliness. Poor rat. God didn’t save it. God just figured He would start over again. “Maybe I won’t give humans free will this time,” He thought. That oughta do it.

It relies only on available data to complete a task, yet when questioned.admits that said data may be incomplete or prone to error and so acknowledges its fallibility. therefore, if questioners accept the answers with absolute certitude when even the generator cannot guarantee them, then who’s the phony ?

In a comment elsewhere I read that in some anime series ‘Friern’?? the ‘demons’ use words not for what they mean or share but as the manipulation of meanings as a currency of control.

Currencies of ideas, words and meanings have an original basis in truly shared meaning – ie truth as recognition and expression of wholeness.

But the shift to fragmented and conflicting ‘meanings’ or ‘Fall’, set authority over and apart from the living relational situation – thus regarded as judged lacking or credited as boosting the idealised ‘truths’ that set both lost Paradise and utopian future as a distance defined by pain, loss and sacrifice.

Language learning models marketed as artificial Intelligence cannot exceed the underlying law of logic; Garbage in; garbage out.
Quantified and weighted judgements can map out a world in aggregate that allows subconscious or automatic ‘decisions’ to free the mind for augmented ‘reality’ along the themes of its core judgemental archetypes/survival strategies – which intrinsically frame the present in past fears and grievances as a continuity of past to future. True presence is thereby ‘discarded’ or left out of focus, while the projection of ‘conflict-meanings’ runs doublethink as the basis for World Order founded on terror, denial, guilt and sacrifice.

I’ve yet to use AI (knowingly) but no doubt ‘meet’ its output on the ‘Screened Projection’. Someone on OG once used it to generate a reply to me in my own ‘user style’. I couold understand its sentences but there was no relational communication – ie no one there except a silly boy using his secret weapon in the shadows.

Secrets and lies mask over ‘gain of function’ – such as the leverage of gold/silver ratios over millennia through East and West disparity of exchange.

It seems that intelligent formation of questioning can uncover otherwise protected secrets and lies – or reveal ringfencing that discredits the output. But that already true of life anyway, and the mind of the gift of life does not withhold truth BUT the mind set and framed in substitution of truth effectively denies access.

As others here comment – human ai is already in place – robotised golems to an ‘operating system’ that cannot be seen BUT from a true or native awareness – Inherent, yet denied, demonised and cast out.

So ‘everything is backwards’ to the mind set in a lens darkly.
The tale wags the dog in a self-reinforcing freedom from truth by which to be-live, suffer and die in lies given power.

Language is much more important than most realize. What you describe is semantic manipulation, giving words other meanings.

If you are grown up with a manipulated language (leftist ground schools), second been teach that God doesnt exist and Jesus is bs, then you will be trapped inside a labyrinth almost impossible to get out from. Brainwashed.

Its a petty because religious education helps a lot to understand the universal ground concepts, getting a basic moral compass.
For example, God speaks the world into existence. John 1:1 The Word Became Flesh:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Yuri Bezmenov talk about how KGB destabilised and demoralised Western countries only by words.

I have a rare typical example of the difference between having a manipulated Western (English) language and having a gramma correct African (English) language.
Correct language is pro life against abortion, manipulated Western language anti life pro abortion. https://youtu.be/LZ6nioMimCc Enjoy.

at beginning of the Gospel of St Johnn in the original Greek we read λογος and this Greek term encompasses a lot more meanings

mwant, we can not write a book here about what it means ok?
“word” is enough to understand that words are extremely important, much more than we know of/that for example than I knew of.
·
λόγος • (lógos) m (genitive λόγου); That which is said: word , sentence , speech , story , debate , utterance , argument that which is thought: reason .

Recently I learned evil=live and devil=lived, and the light star Venus refer to Jesus which represents the five angle with the odd up:
Head up, two legs down, arms spread east west is human/Jesus.
Head down, arms spread and two legs up as two horns = the opposite, represents human/Satan.

This all makes sense and logical in symbolic. When we turn something on its head, for example verbally, say evil is good, or good is evil, we do evil!

Humans are AI! So programmed and dumbed down same time, why else would all that stupidity going on in the world else be possible?🤔

Very easy to see how it works, during pregnancy ancestral imprints, family inheritance and mother’s programming creates the human AI. Freud based all his psychology on this basic knowledge and introduced the existence of EGO, the program, as something that was , is real. Identification with this dream character is considered the new(old)normal. First religions used this program/to manipulate people with. Further indoctrination happens by family, education, parents, culture, politics, big media, big pharma, pseudo science. AI is a copy of this reality enforcer. Welcome to the matrix. Robots were supposed to make humans work less. Trumpy Dumbpy wants to use all the AI to keep talking about jobs in factories, getting rich, more dumb, and pretend as all leaders and governments to make things better. I guess robots will rule better then these very dumb humans that run the show now. As in the end what is really running the show? There is an intelligence that somehow can’t be controlled and this intelligence will ….

Gianbattista Vico in the 1700 stated that their will always be an elite class and that society is a reflection of the elite .
Further more he was the chief Neapolitan jurist of Naples . He always stated words have meanings and that language has always been a tool of control. Overton window analogy remember this is a guy in 1700 Naples.
Hence Artificial intelligent. The term itself is an oxymoron.

One reason this AI became popular recently is that many Atlantic governments became illogical, hypocritical, unreasonable due to (WEF) wokism/ CO2 + Russia hating/ Muslim + Chinese loving: drives many people to something that pretends to be the opposite.

Till now what they get is an echo of the wokism prevalent on the Internet, kind of more of the same due to the set up where the dominant view is the “truth”. In 1200 AD a ChatGPT would tell you that the Earth was flat.

Far too many times the search AI anticipates what I’m looking for even it I’ve never asked for something similar before. It tells humans that whilst AI has all the logical, knowledge-based realm pretty much tied up, humans can still do all that vague emotional, intuitive, sensey-feely stuff better than AI.

From which it’s a very short step to not flattering humans at all and regarding them as dross to be removed…

I have zero interest in reading what he now has to say via ChatGPT and am at the point of unfollowing his substack – that is NOT what I had signed up for. So-called wide awake person. Perhaps many Substack users back themselves into a corner – especially once they draw a following. Then they have to keep coming up with something they think their followers will like. So they seek something new but in the style of their own style.

BTW, I tried an experiment. An acquaintance was touting the virtues of AI by interacting with an AI physical person on the internet. I suggested throwing something into the conversation totally irrelevant and out of sync. Sure enough, the AI hesitated before responding; and the response was not really germane.

The question is do we lie in order to gain advantage over someone else or do we lie in order not to hurt someone?

Using AI as a short-cut to information, is entirely sensible.

Finding it satisfying to chew the fat over footy, with an AI agent, is one helluva red-flag.

So instead of attempting to even engage a fellow human, just write all humans off as lazy or incompetent or God forbid simply not interested in a given subject and worship the machines. Careful what you wish for…

it will really get interesting when Gemini, Siri, Grok and the rest start having turf wars and mobilizing us blobs of flesh to fight for them, maybe turning the tables and sending HUMAN drones off on kamikaze missions, like the dogs strapped into suicide vests that the Soviets sicced on the Nazi invaders

Lets see if Off guardian does a apologise like normal MSM does about rapist Russell Brand who just converted to Jesus and now charged and expected in court for RAPE.

Notice a pattern ? All the rapists pervs/nonce’s all seem to convert or it is the other way around.? Jesus is open for rapist/nonces but was closed for covid.

Wont be long before Russell Brand starts discussing migrants and wins the hearts of the Chri$tian con$ervative ko£ha reptilian and all is forgotten / forgiven (like conor macgregor and Trump)

The court case will be thrilling. Expect the usual like an inquiry.
And celebrity big brother jungle appearances to win your hearts back.

Any normal real awake person would of seen if they was bothered that the Zelenskyy/Trump/Vance debacle was infact scripted tv. at the end even trump says this will make good TV.
You do not need some AI tool to explain that to you.

ChatGPT is brain dead food just like politics and one does not need to be a Doctor to see this.

Wake up Todd.

How do you know that I am not controlled opposition? And that all I write about is presented in an“unwoken” fashion just to try to trick you? Obviously you are not tricked (if this is true) so then how do I know YOU are not controlled opposition? Or better yet, a bot trying to trick us all into thinking that Todd is asleep and doesn’t get it “right”…??

Among them of today, 3 of them became hard core criminals, 2 ended up in a lunatic hospital, 1 became a corrupt politician.
And I am sitting in the front of this my ground school class photo. Guilty by proxy.

I read last week that ChatGPT reached the milestone of passing the “Turing Test”, the point where its answers are such that someone can’t tell the difference between it and a human. It had to happen eventually. But, here’s a very important catch that everyone needs to remember. Making them intelligent just like us humans also imbues them with all those human shortcomings — misunderstandings, misconceptions, miscommunication and so on. Obviously because of their speed relative to us and their ability to access whole libraries of information they’re going to be smart but this isn’t going to automatically make them intelligent or wise. People get fooled because computers do routine tasks perfectly so assume that they’ll do anything perfectly but a LLM is anything but perfect — its a box that performs myriad imperfect calculations (they have to be imperfect because of space, time and speed limitations) that delivers a probably correct result. (One group of researchers actually cracked the puzzle of determining exactly how it arrived at an answer and the result was “remarkably like us”. LLMs are remarkably bad at arithmetic, again “just like us”!)

On the whole I don’t use any of the AI tools on offer at the moment because I just don’t need them. I already have a fair amount of knowledge and I can find out other stuff using conventional lookup tools (including — gasp! — books!). The LLMs are fun to play with but I find them verbose, they tend to be relatively ‘information free’ for the amount of language they use. This doesn’t mean they won’t get better.

One other detail is the subject of hallucinations. There’s a whole class of mathematics called ‘information theory’. Its quite complex but put simply at its core is the idea that information can’t be created out of nothing. It can appear to be created by clever coding of a signal (coding involves adding extra information, not coding as in encryption) or by the context of the overall information. So a human could pick up a barely audible message based on what’s likely to be said and a computer could reconstruct the missing bits of a picture but at the risk of introducing errors. The human is currently a bit better than the computer because it knows that people generally have five fingers, guns don’t have two stocks and so on but its easy to see why LLMs hallucinate — they do it for exactly the same reasons as we do. Creating information out of nothing without being able to apply commonsense to say “it won’t look like this” (but the other side of the coin is that if we really did see something unusual we’re likely to perceive it as something we’re used to — it never ends!).

Highly trained professionals embraced search engines (mainly Google) because it made things easier. They stopped needing to learn and remember stuff.

This stripped away much of their expertise. Any non-expert can do the same searches. Oops.

Now it’s being taken to the next level. Creators who use AI as a tool will be replaced by AI.

Not that there’s a practical way to resist. Those who don’t use AI will be at a disadvantage. Those who use it will temporarily flourish. They will embrace the short term gain – the temptation is irresistable. Their long term pain will be slightly delayed. Then what?

I don’t want to use any AI tools and I exit immediately the sites where they ask me to mark the squares with bicycles, or bridges or redlights. I take all the surveys and give crappy answers, totally untrue or crazy. Any time a game asks for the gender or age I lie and very seldom I search for things I am not interested in, just for the fun of the AI profilers. I don’t want to teach these machines anything valuable. If only everyone would do the same..

That’s actually where AI generally falls down. It feels compelled to provide some kinda response even when it’s far from the mark. It prefers probable answers rather than none at all.

Sometimes saying that you don’t know is the better response. At least in historical human terms

The Lord Giveth and the Lord Taketh. This “God” thing gave humans “free will” then set a sting to take it away: just one little snake was all it took for “God” to cancel “free will” – because, see, humans used their “free will” to do something “God” said not to. Naughty naughty!

But not to worry, humanity’s “collective mind” disappeared long ago – otherwise we wouldn’t have nukes, genocide, billionaires, or Teslas.

But yes indeed it doesn’t take a ChatBot to tell us Trump is a looney tune – he goes out of his way to let us know. Admittedly, humiliating the leader of another country who was invited to the White House for a drubbing is the least of Trump’s abominations. (Notice how VP Vance was NOT in the room when Netanyahu came calling – only when Zelensky was summoned.)

Tariff the whole world (there’s a great article on Sheerpost by Ben Norton about that); try to destroy Social Security and Medicare by reducing the workforce; threaten to build Riviera Junior in Gaza; and send the Palestinians to Somaliland for a beautiful life in a place no one on Earth even recognizes as a nation; threaten to bomb Iran if they don’t accept his “peace” proposals; bomb Yemen even before they resumed attacks on Red Sea shipping; threatening to annex Canada and Mexico; and invade Greenland if they don’t accept his “generous and beautiful” offer; arbitrarily deciding to rename the Gulf of Mexico (which might provoke them to rename Baja California – which could start a war).

Th-th-that’s not all folks!

It’s OK, George. Those of us who eschew the destructive technologies as far as possible in their worst aspects know exactly what and why we are so doing. This is because we are paying attention. The ‘others’ have bought into the myth. They are invested in it. They seem to be unaware of the consequences, but that’s free will, free choice, etc., even though that depends on being fooled by the illusions of efficiency convenience and their manipulation by the instigators and their sales pitch. Free speech, on the other hand, is looking a bit dicey nowadays.

Do these people not realise how much of themselves they are giving away? I’m not so naive to think I can hide away from the myriad of surveillance we have, but with the LLMs/Alexa etc many. many people who would never wash their dirty linen in public are spilling their guts to the ‘friendly voices’, not realising who’s listening in. And yes absolutely, humanity is going to gradually lose its ability to communicate effectively if we start to rely on this shit. AI generated crap is everywhere these days. Question Everything is the axiom.
