New book warns of danger of Kamala Harris presidency

Max Parry

With the 2020 US presidential election less than a month away, there is widespread speculation concerning Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s mental and physical fitness at 77 years of age if he were to defeat incumbent Donald Trump on November 3rd.

The former Vice President and Senator from Delaware would surpass his opponent as the oldest to ever hold the office of the presidency if victorious, while his generally acknowledged cognitive decline has led many to question whether he is even capable of serving a single term.

Given the concerns about his health, the likelihood that Biden’s running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, would become his successor has put the controversial former prosecutor and California Attorney General’s own politics under scrutiny, though not to a degree sufficient with the odds she could very well become commander-in-chief in the near future.

Trump himself suggested it was the hidden motivation behind House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent introduction of a 25th Amendment commission on removing a “mentally unfit” president to enable the replacement of an incapacitated Biden with Harris after the election.

Even Saturday Night Live recently joked about Biden’s poor first debate performance as a Harris term in-the-making — but as journalist Caleb Maupin explains in his new book Kamala Harris and the Future of America: An Essay in Three Parts, the prospect of her becoming president is no laughing matter.

Maupin’s ambitious essay surpasses the redundant analysis of the vice-presidential nominee by placing her political success in a broader historical context while forewarning the unique danger of a budding Harris administration waiting in the wings.

The majority of the critical examinations of Harris during the campaign have critiqued her rebranding as an outwardly “progressive” figure in stark contrast with the reality of her career as a ruthless criminal prosecutor turned establishment politician.

While that is true, Maupin’s analysis takes an important step further by formulating the rise of Harris, who is the first Jamaican and South Asian-American nominee on a major party ticket, as the culmination of the US left’s failures in the last several decades resulting in its present deteriorated state preoccupied with liberal identity politics. More specifically, a result of the defeats suffered by the so-called New Left of the 1960s and 70s which had long-term consequences for progressive politics in America today.

Although not a biography, Maupin does link Harris’s psychological profile, personality traits and upbringing with her political career which he parallels with the life stories of previous presidents and other political figures.

Born in 1964, Harris was raised in a hub of the organized left in the Bay Area by immigrant parents who were politically active during her early childhood in Northern California.

While not a communist, her estranged Jamaican-American father, Donald Harris, is a Stanford University professor and Marxian economist whose work influenced the progressive domestic reforms in his native island country during the administration of Prime Minister Michael Manley, a democratic socialist who introduced land redistribution, socialized medicine and free education until Jamaica’s neocolonization by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decimated the Carribean nation with enormous debt, as explored in the documentary Life and Debt (2001).

Young Kamala grew up attending civil rights protests in Berkeley with her parents until their bitter divorce which resulted in her Indian-American mother gaining sole custody. Maupin dares to ask — is her chosen career path as a criminal prosecutor and top legal officer disproportionately locking up black men unconsciously motivated by a vendetta against her father? Could it even explain her thinly-veiled contempt for the progressive politics she now pretends to uphold as a politician?

Maupin also argues that Harris was likely groomed for her present role as Biden’s running mate by the Clintonite wing of Democratic Party once it became apparent Hillary was not in a position to run again in 2020, citing a 2017 closed door meeting in the Hamptons with elite party donors and apparatchiks.

Despite her own early exit from the primaries after a knockout blow in the debates delivered by Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii who sharply criticized her record as a prosecutor, Harris was already vetted by the party leadership to be Biden’s heir apparent.

For the Democratic establishment, she is the perfect choice to derail the emerging progressive faction of the party led by Bernie Sanders which champions a similar brand of the social democratic politics championed by her father. This could also hold disastrous geopolitical implications, as the world is still reeling from the four years spent ravaged by the foreign policy of Hillary Clinton’s State Department which oversaw the wholesale destruction of several nations in the global south. We can only expect the same regime change policies from Harris if she is cut from the same cloth.

Maupin then uses Harris and her Berkeley upbringing to explore the history of leftism in the United States, tracing the New Left’s ceding of leadership roles to students and marginal groups while discarding labor rights and the class struggle back to the influence of the Frankfurt School of Social Theory.

The philosophical movement of intellectuals and academics associated with the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, otherwise known as ‘critical theory’, put forward that both capitalist societies and Marxist-Leninist states like the Soviet Union were equally rigid “totalitarian” systems.

The interdisciplinary sociological school viewed Marx’s prediction of revolutionary emancipation in the 20th century as an evident failure and rejected the historical materialism of orthodox Marxism, arguing that forces of economic change were undermined by the dominant ideology of the ruling class represented in mass media which produced false consciousness in the working class.

Theorists such as Theodor Adorno and Herbert Marcuse attempted to reformulate Marxism with Freudian psychoanalysis and other disciplines while critiquing mass consumer culture and modern technology.

As the impact of the Frankfurt School gave rise to the New Left in the US and Western Europe, mass social movements became housed in the universities instead of the factories. This was favorable to the ruling class, as student-led counterculture revolts were much easier to control in comparison with a revolution organized by the workers. If any authentic revolutionary leaders did emerge, they were quickly neutralized.

After the student protests of 1968, the New Left withdrew further to its comfort zone in the realm of ideas and out of the streets, which was perfectly alright with the powers that be since they were intellectuals who denounced Marxism-Leninism. Soon the academy would be dominated by an even more pessimistic and “anti-authoritarian” ideology, postmodernism, which rejected the value of all universal truths and grand narratives. How did this all happen?

Maupin emphasizes that the intelligentsia of the New Left were actively supported by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) through its clandestine Congress for Cultural Freedom (CCF) program during the Cold War, which sought to subvert the sympathies of liberals and the non-communist left with the Soviet Union through the covert funding of prominent literary magazines, journals, international conferences, modern art exhibitions, and other cultural activities.

The objective was to promote an intellectual consensus on the Western left that the Soviet Union was to be opposed as much as capitalism and it was indisputably successful.

Meanwhile, the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commissions of the 1970s exposed how in the previous decade the CIA had played an enormous role in introducing drugs to the counterculture as part of its domestic espionage against the anti-war movement in Operation Midnight Climax, a sub-program of Project MK-Ultra, where the Bay Area became a petri dish for its human experimentation. With the drug culture came the popularization of eastern mysticism and eventually, the New Age movement.

As it happens, the relationship between the CIA and the New Left’s intellectuals goes back to its origins.

One of the most prominent idealogues of the Frankfurt School, Herbert Marcuse — often referred to as the “father of the New Left” — spent almost a full decade during the 1940s working for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the precursor to the CIA, and as an anti-Soviet intelligence analyst in the US State Department. This was not just during wartime but continued well after WWII was over in West Germany until 1951 when Marcuse immigrated to the United States to work as a professor at universities on the east coast, the same year that the CCF was founded.

However, one interesting fact that Maupin overlooks is that while Kamala Harris was growing up in Oakland in the 1960s, Marcuse relocated his teaching career out to the west coast at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where his work continued to be cited as an influence by the middle-class student activists and radicals of the counterculture as the left drifted further away from the socialist countries and the working class. The documentary Herbert’s Hippopotamus: Marcuse and Revolution in Paradise examines Marcuse’s time in Southern California in the late 60s.

Prior to his work in the OSS, in Weimar Germany the young Marcuse had been a pupil of philosopher Martin Heidegger even as his mentor infamously joined the ascendant Nazi Party, though the relationship came to an end once Marcuse’s own academic career was obstructed by the Third Reich in the early 1930s.

One of the major thinkers associated with the New Left promoted by the CCF was a former lover of Heidegger’s, Hannah Arendt, who penned one of the most seminal and harmful works in equating the Soviet Union with Nazi Germany as twin pillars of authoritarianism in The Origins of Totalitarianism.

In particular, Maupin takes aim at Arendt’s essay Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil where she famously observed Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann’s thoughtless conformism and ministerial disposition in his lack of remorse for his atrocities while covering his trial. Maupin interprets her notion as implicitly concluding that lurking underneath the surface of every ordinary hardworking person is a potential fascist, therefore anyone who would try to organize them for a collective cause is a threat to society.

This cynical, psychoanalytic definition of fascism as rooted in what Adorno called the “authoritarian personality” replaced the Marxist economic understanding. Yet in spite of her work, Arendt controversially participated in the shameful post-war apologia and rehabilitation of Heidegger’s reputation.

Critics might say that Maupin’s diagnosis of the Western left as the manipulated brainchild of Western intelligence agencies is oversimplistic, conspiratorial or risks espousing a form of vulgar Marxism.

Indeed, it is a touchy subject for those too personally connected to the artistic and intellectual milieu of the time to accept the undeniably significant role played by the CIA in subverting leftist politics, arts and culture in the second half of the twentieth century.

Some on the left will inevitably try to dismiss his analysis by likening it to the right-wing canard of “cultural Marxism” spoken of by paleoconservatives simply because of the overlap in mutual subjects of criticism.

Nonetheless, there is a small kernel of truth at the heart the right’s mostly fictitious narrative of Western Marxism’s control of academia but unfortunately, what they misinterpret as a plot to “subvert Western culture” was hatched at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia — not the former Soviet Union. Today’s pseudo-left which recoils working people is truly an imposter generated by the CIA’s cultural cold war program to replace actual Marxism, the real casualty of the pervasiveness of Western Marxism in universities.

Others may find Maupin’s assessment of the Frankfurt School and thinkers of the New Left to be too dismissive of their contributions.

Ironically, Adorno’s worthwhile conception of “actionism” applies to the left-wing anti-intellectualism and leaderless, spontaneous voluntarism of the very movement to which the Frankfurt School gave birth and is even more relevant per Maupin’s thorough description of what he calls the “synthetic left” today.

Look no further than the ‘propaganda of the deed’ which dominates Antifa and the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests this year.

In Thesis on Feuerbach, Karl Marx articulated the predicament of revolutionary politics in his day being restrained by the gap between thought and action, or

philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.”

One could say the mantra of the Western left now seems to be taking action without any thought whatsoever. Or as Lenin wrote in What is to be Done?,

without revolutionary theory there can be no revolutionary movement.”

If the idea that Kamala Harris represents an apotheosis of the New Left’s failures feels like a bit of a stretch, it is only because the examination warrants further inquiry which Maupin should continue in his work, regardless of the outcome of the 2020 election.

Nevertheless, in just a little over 125 pages he manages to comprehensively piece together the trajectory of the Western left from the end of WWII to what can only be described as its “stinking corpse” today, a term once used by Rosa Luxembourg to describe the treacherous Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) after it voted to support the imperialist bloodbath of WWI in 1914.

Maupin’s use of Harris and the environment she grew up in as a springboard to investigate the shortcomings of the Western left generally is a formidable exploration that is desperately needed at a time where the American people are faced with the probability of enduring yet another destructive administration and no authentic left to represent it.

not to a degree sufficient with the odds she could very well become commander-in-chief in the near future.

What a great risk. Could she be avoiding the next big war? When they come home from Afghanistan, Iraq, and the rest of the region, what are they to spend their time with and the taxpayers’ billions on, when there is a Commander-in-Chief who might not like war??

PS: There is no left solution, a republican, democratic, conservative, socialist or fascist solution. There are only adequate solutions or not adequate solutions.

People can’t figure how the intel agencies would have introduced cultural Marxism into the U.S.

Polly’s videos, Subverted, Parts 1 & 2, are a good introduction. Very timely, too, as she made them in 2019.

She touches upon technocracy, the New School’s university in exile, JPL, the Office of Scientific Research and Development (OSRD), Camp Ritchie, Fort Detrick, Camp Shanks, the G.I. Bill, Projects Rusty and Keystone and PoWs.

In the second, she looks at the tentacles deriving from the first, including Mary Podesta, adoptions (kidnappings) and parallels with lebensborn, the anthropologist Margaret Mead, the technocratic aristocracy and Elon Musk, Sky Island, the New York cults, beginning with the Omnipotent Oom up to Nxivm today, the Vanderbilts and Harrimans, and Sir Paul Dukes of Mi6.

More on “Cultural Mars Bars”?:

“This is a study of the Frankfurt School and Cultural Marxist philosophy which now controls Western intellectualism, politics, and culture. It was by design; it was created by an internationalist intelligentsia to eradicate Western values, social systems, and European racial groups in a pre-emptive attempt to spark global, communist revolution”

Still waiting on a reasonably clear definition of “Cultural Marxism™”..

My current impression is that what once passed for the left (heh!)
has been gotten-to for some time: how else to explain its lockstep
COVID-19!!! hysteria starting in mid-March? Those entities have
mellowed for the moment on that hysteria- the better to introduce

Pathetic. My new maxim: if it’s organized, it’s gotten-to.

The Left have certainly disgraced themselves over COVID. I suspect a mixture of controlled opposition and useful idiocy.

As for “Cultural Marxism”, I think it’s funny how the American Right have gone from worrying about how Marxism might cause a revolution to worrying how about Marxism is now teaching kids to be disrespectful to their elders!

As a U.S. voter I am aware of all of this history. I personally believe MUCH will fall if Harris or Biden slips. So Maupin claims we are CIA molded. From what I see we will not go quietly.

We have elections every 4 years and much will change including Harris.

For me bigger issues are corporations, technology and especially the Senate.

Maupin exposes what? Nothing we are not aware of and the lack of suggestions and ignorance of the right wing aim of death to government I find curious.

I suggest you watch The Social Dilemma, a much more important discussion.

As some socialists have said, identity politics is not socialist politics (or even social-democratic politics) – it is liberal politics. Still others have referred to ‘the poison of identity politics’.

Putting it another way, John Pilger said in 2016 that the fact that Obama was an African-American and H Clinton a woman was a supreme irrelevancy. What mattered was their ideologies, their policies. The same yardstick applies to Harris.

We need more articles about history that led to postmodernism embraced by new old Identity Politics of social division. And the issue is no longer academic as it was three decades ago but practical as we seem excretions. political, economic, legal and cultural, of that ideology that not only broke from left-right political and socioeconomic paradigm but broke from rational analysis of social reality and stifled debate about political vision and platform shaping organization of society, core of modern 300 years old liberal politics, has been completely depoliticized making left-right argument not right or wrong simply inapplicable.

Those interested in post modernism founded on abandonment of left right politics and that includes also abandoning theory of bourgeois and workers revolutions, and in fact any revolutionary systemic changes, may want to read Hardt and Nergi’s book entitled “Empire” published by Harvard University, 1999, free on Web in PDF.

Although it is cryptic with steep terminology learning curve, aptly describes element of curiously chaotic reality of phony transformations of old political forces and orchestrated new vaguely defined dynamic movements with supposedly incoherent apolitical, single issue or identity based leadership aimed not at convincing constituents but begging ruling elites to satisfy their narrow specific needs and Practical demands Openly trumping other interest and fundamental ideas of equality and equity of political discourse that founded body politics replaced by group truths and Devine righteousness, what we are witnessing in last two decades and what cause left right confusion.

The “Troll” needs to point out that in order for Harris to have a lasting effect on the United States, the Democrats need to take the Senate while keeping the House. The assumption is that Biden will stroke out within a year or less. It also needs to be pointed out that there will be another election in 4 years where it would be likely that the Republicans would retake the House, the Senate and the Presidency. When that happens, everything they do will be undone. “Everything comes out in the wash”. Increased anarchy will be the tipping point. Ted Cruse here we come! Let’s hope Trump wins….

We already know it’s a Selection, not an election. Harris’ background, sadism and lock ‘em up mentality is par for the course. Bread and circuses. Smoke and mirrors. Good Cop – Bad Cop. Manufactured dramas and poorly scripted political plots.

Doesn’t matter which sociopathic puppet is sitting on the faux throne of fake democracy. The psychopathic banker cryptocrats run it all. Every war, every terror event, every pandemic, every fake virus, every financial crash.

Every president is related, bar one, to John, King of England. That’s not a coincidence. America Inc is still run out of the City of London Corp.

Most Americans are going to be liquidated soon, after the bankers instigate a global market crash. Citizenry assets, land, property, human rights, privacy, descendants and their futures will be handed to the IMF, BIS, World Bank.

All citizens of NATO nations will share the same fate. Asset stripping and death by genetic engineering and nanotech, deployed covertly in the vaccines. To depopulate, monitor, dominate and control, using AI in a military-tech-pharmacy partnership under the umbrella of Agenda 21 and the new global digital currency reset.

Why aren’t you researching and writing about any of that?

Journalists are going out of their way to ignore the truth and focus on the trivial illusions that many of us left behind years ago. Time to get serious. Algorithms will write the news soon and nobody will be able to tell the difference.

Agree completely. Dad, son and the pocket money principle. Finance rules the behaviour of the financed. As long as the means of exchange is controlled by a third party who cares what any politician says, they won’t, no, can’t do anything that threatens the money supply. Until that is decentralised right and left are meaningless.

WORKERS ARE ABANDONED

The philosophical movement of intellectuals and academics associated with the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, otherwise known as ‘critical theory,’ put forward that both capitalist societies and Marxist-Leninist states like the Soviet Union were equally rigid “totalitarian” systems.”

Some facts are indisputable such as, fascistic capitalism and Stalinism are equally totalitarian and secondly, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden the two most unpopular candidates during the Democratic Primaries miraculously surfaced to the top of the ticket.

“Today’s pseudo-left who recoils working people are truly an imposter generated by the CIA’s cultural cold war program to replace actual Marxism, the real casualty of the pervasiveness of Western Marxism in universities.”

This is not the ONLY interesting political phenomena, “neoconservatism” was founded by disaffected Marxists:

“The neoconservatives are often depicted as former Trotskyites who have morphed into a new, closely related life form. It is pointed out that many early neocons—including The Public Interest founder Irving Kristol and co-editor Nathan Glazer, Sidney Hook, and Albert Wohlstetter—belonged to the anti-Stalinist far left in the late 1930s and early 1940s, and that their successors, including Joshua Muravchik and Carl Gershman, came to neoconservatism through the Socialist Party at a time when it was Trotskyite in outlook and politics. As early as 1963 Richard Hofstadter commented on the progression of many ex-Communists from the paranoid left to the paranoid right, clinging all the while to the fundamentally Manichean psychology that underlies both. [Half a century] later the dominant strain of neoconservatism is declared to be a mixture of geopolitical militarism and “inverted socialist internationalism.”

Blanket depictions of neoconservatives as redesigned Trotskyites need to be corrected in favor of a more nuanced analysis. In several important respects the neoconservative world outlook has diverged from the Trotskyite one and acquired some striking similarities with Stalinism and German National Socialism. Today’s neoconservatives share with Stalin and Hitler an ideology of nationalist socialism and internationalist imperialism. The similarities deserve closer scrutiny and may contribute to a better understanding of the most influential group in the U.S. foreign policy-making community.

Certain important differences remain, notably the neoconservatives’ hostility not only to Nazi race-theory but even to the most benign understanding of national or ethnic coherence. On the surface, there are also glaring differences in economics. However, the neoconservative glorification of the free market is mere rhetoric, designed to placate the businessmen who fund them, than reality. In fact, the neoconservatives favor not free enterprise but a kind of state capitalism—within the context of the global apparatus of the World Bank and the IMF—that Hitler would have appreciated.” https://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/article/neoconservatism-where-trotsky-meets-stalin-and-hitler/

The Left of the 1960’s and the earlier generation of the 30’s morphed into the most reactionary elements within the Democratic Party. It should be noted, that this faction is represented by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.  Neoliberal economics compounded by endless imperialist wars resulted in extreme wealth and income inequality triggering social outrage. This rage was clearly expressed in 2016 with the embrace of sellout Bernie Sanders and then again in 2020.  Prior to COVID, protests against neoliberalism occurred on every continent.  There’s NO doubt every corrupt ruler took notice.

However, the tenacious ruling class was determined to anoint Biden who’ll provide a segue for Kamala’s presidency after crooked Joe suffers a sudden debilitating illness.

The following is an excerpt from an August 2020 WSWS article entitled “The Nomination of Kamala Harris and the Right-wing Logic of Identity Politics,” it describes the significance of Kamala on the ticket:

“Harris represents the Democratic Party, a party of Wall Street billionaires, the intelligence agencies and the military. Her nomination came just one day after the Democrats paraded a number of Republicans who endorsed Biden, including Colin Powell—the first African American chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and a chief architect of the 2003 war in Iraq—and the widow of the notorious warmonger, Senator John McCain.

Harris’ closing remarks at the convention were preceded by those of Obama….. Suffice it to say that Obama, the first African American to be nominated by the Democrats and win the presidency, proceeded to bail out the banks, continued the wars of George W. Bush, implemented a policy of drone murder, and deported more immigrants than any of his predecessors.

It was the right-wing policies of the Obama administration that paved the way for the ascension of Trump to the presidency.”

Sleepy Joe isn’t a poor guy by any stretch of the imagination. He has had a lifetime of bullying other nations along with neocon buddies. He has been active during the very worse times in american history. He has enjoyed decades of privilege and made his family wealthy making underhanded private deals.

What will affect sleepy joe, and is probably the reason for his meltdown, is what the FBI have found on his son’s laptop.

‘Workers are abandoned’, indeed.

Your analysis of where the Democratic Party is at is spot on. Trump is utterly odious, but those who think that voting him out only to elect Biden and Harris will much improve the lot of US workers are either ignorant of their track records, or else believe that a leopard can change its spots. The corporate media in every part of the world has worked hard to keep them in such ignorance

An excellent post. Although I must admit personally to a blanket cynicism re: the entire political system. The late Ellen Meiksins Wood once said that we in this (post?) modern world have unprecedented political freedom but only because power no longer lies in politics. It lies in the economy i.e. finance. (cf. Twain’s “If voting changed anything, they wouldn’t let you do it”)

That however doesn’t mean that the party that gets in is of no significance at all. It’s of “showbiz” significance. Which is why the shenanigans to get GWB into the presidency in 2000 resembled something out of a Blackadder script. The rulers were building up for years of foreign policy aggression and need the “party of war” in.

The bit about Manichean psychology is very pertinent. I first noted this tendency towards Jekyll/Hyde transformations in David Horowitz, once of the New Left and now as raving Right as you could imagine. The connection between his old view and his new view is the fundamental assumption of an “Absolute Good against Absolute Evil” paradigm and the only difference between the old Horowitz and the new is that he simply switched sides. (And it doesn’t take a genius to see the religious dimension there.)

The Frankfurt School is an interesting case. I only recently found out that three prominent members (Franz Neumann, Herbert Marcuse, and Otto Kirchheimer) worked for the OSS (forerunner of the CIA) to provide reports on Nazi Germany. That would indicate an amicable relationship between the school and the America authorities and I have heard that the school played a certain role in Cold War propaganda as an example of American “tolerance and diversity” – as well as lending a hand to the support of atonal music (Adorno) as a challenge to Soviet “Socialist Realism”. (And, considering how the school later became the “Cultural Marxist enemy within”, the irony is palpable.)

Politics is all to often presented as a dichotomy between ‘left’ and ‘right’. This over simpliciation of positions tends to undermine progressive politics — its probably encouraged in order to achieve precisely that aim — because it allows the generation of numerous strawman arguments which can be used to drown out even token left wing ideas.

Politicians like Kamela Harris don’t belong in this conversation. As a leading Democrat she’s not part of the vanguard of any revolution. The best we can hope for her is that she’s competent and reasonalby honest with at least some social conscience. In the present political climate is a huge step forward. The fact she isn’t a radical isn’t a reason not to support her — ‘the left’ needs to figure out how to act strategically and not keep sacrificing short term goals on the altar of ideological purity. Factionalizing is a historical technique to deal with potential opposition; you don’t suppress these movements, you observe, nurture and destroy them from within (the British used to be masters of this art). Its used in tandem with more robust suppression methods should they be necessary. An opposition doesn’t need to be particularly radical to get the treatment, either — witness what happened to Corbyn and the Labour Party in the UK a year ago (hardly a revolutionary movement but the UK establishment has never been one to take chances). We also have numerous examples of sanctions regimes being instituted against countries that don’t toe the line plus (of course) the encouragement and financing of various ‘pro-democracy’ movements. This battle is ongoing and eternal, the necessity of winning is paramount and no amount of resources will be spared in order to win it. These are the ground rules and ‘the left’ needs to understand them or it will spend its entire time in constant defense, losing ground and only dreaming of a different sort of world.

Here we might like to bring up China. Its a foreign country to most of us, a different society, but its also a communist society. Here the purists will dump on it saying “its not really whatever” but they’re making exactly the same mistake that our capitalists were allowed to make. China spent the decades post 1971 making our capitalists scads of money, mostly without them having to lift a finger, while all the while developing itself. At some point we seemed to have noticed that it is a) large b) successful and c) communist and so we’ve been franctically trying to reinstitute Cold War regimes. My interest in this is that Marxist theory suggests that the coordination of productive effort in a communist society should be inherently more efficient of productive effort than in a capitalist one. This should snowball both economic and social development, vaulting a society from backward to advanced in a handful of generations. (This was the hope for the USSR but it never grew strong enough to do this because of constant threats and challenges)(plus experimenting with immature social and industrial planning models led to all sorts of disasters.) If this is indeed the case then the model might prove to be catching. It won’t catch on in our advanced societies but its likely to influence countries that were once colonies but never managed to break the colonial mold and still have vast swathes of their population living in poverty and deprivation. Our current response is to form alliances to combat the threat — militiary, its the only one we know. It may not work (but knowing the people who run our societies they’d be quite prepared to sacrifice us and our civilization if that’s what it takes to bring them down — they do have ‘form’ in this regard.)

Harris better watch out- if she does get the top spot when Biden falls asleep too often in front of the cameras she’ll need to pick herself a VP. And that leads to HC in a “girl-to-girl” White House where HC is now calling the shots. From there HC will have Harris on even tighter strings and one little mess up…..

Just a little fable.

I had a dollar bet earlier in the year that the Beast would either be renominated for the 2020 selection either in the top spot or second fiddle. And a second dollar bet that if the latter, the Democrat president would have a strange accident caused by an MK Ultra zombie (perhaps the oldest child of a BFF of the Clinton Crime family such as John Hinkley Jr.was to the affiliated BCF). I find it amusing that all the snowflakes love to watch Shakespeare’s plays about royalty offing each other, but when “conspiracy theorists” mention that it is still going on, they say that would be quite impossible in these modern, enlightened times. Perhaps the problem is that the ghosts, unlike in Hamlet, don’t complain on youtube videos. I would like to see a detergent commercial of Hillary dressed as Lady MacBeth croaking, “Out damn spot.”

There’s lots to complain about with HRC’s politics but she’s not a beast. Rather she’s a political wife who realized back in the 90s after Bill had strayed one time too many that she also had hands and she could also run the ship. She did her apprenticeship through the Senate and by all accounts was effective.

The crap thrown at her four years ago was unwarranted. Sure, she’s safe, she’s not going to rock the Establishment boat, but she would have been no worse than Obama and a lot better than Trump.

Personally, I hope that Harris is representative of a younger breed of politician. We need to start getting people as leaders who are not in their 70s; its not that experience isn’t useful but jobs like being the President ages people, its a lot of work if you actually do the job.

I couldn’t finish this article. I never liked Freud and his psychoanalysis. Add an “e” at the end of his name and we get “joy” in German. Ponder that. He should have stuck with dissecting earthworms.

I do study the rigged “markets” intensively, and there is no doubt that Wall Street wants Creepy Joe and the Kamel, (great name for a punk band). The reason is simple. The major Wall Street banks own the Fed and the Fed has the enviable “right” to print fake money out of thin air, an action which would throw the rest of us in the clink in short order. The Fed, as leader of the nearly 200 other Rothschild run central banks around our God forsaken planet, is using the pretext of this faux virus to push two main objectives: to own and control everything and to destroy the world economy and the middle class resulting shortly in the culling (as mandated by the Georgia Guide Stones) of the population by about 95%. All we really need know about the Kamel is that she is a ruthless and amoral whore who literally put out for political promotions and will do anything which her handlers demand. In that sense she is not that much different from Mr. Warp Speed. Yes, Biden is well into senile dementia (like myself), and if he is selected, will never serve out 4 years. Probably less than one.

So let’s get back to why WS wants the Kamel. We live in a debt based monetary system, Those pieces of paper in your wallet, soon to go down the memory hole with its wonderful little occult symbols on it (to be replaced by central bank pseudo crypto digital currencies), is a Federal Reserve Note. Look up the financial meaning of note in a dictionary. A note is a contract of debt. So in order to control the planet the Fed must expand its debt based balance sheet exponentially. “Exponentially” is not used here as hyperbole but rather in its precise mathematical definition of ten or e to the x power. WS figures Trump would condone this expansion at Warp 6 and the Kamel at Warp 9. The faster the Fed prints debt, the higher the stock market will go, and the faster the great wealth transfer from the remnants of the middle class to the 0.001% will proceed. It ain’t rocket science.

The time will come with this, and only the most inner circle of our Overlords know when, that the stock markets and bond markets will implosively collapse to fair value from their current über bubble status. (For those who do not follow these things, a collapse of the bond market is precipitated by interest rates rising rapidly.) As in the GFC, the insiders will have leverage shorted these markets, and this will mark the orgasmic conclusion of the wealth transfer. All those 401K millionaires – well, poof its gone.

Now move into your cars suckers. Blackrock owns it now.

Actually I am quite fond and respectful of women, more so often than men, and I refer to both sexes as “whores” or “presstitutes,” particularly journalists and politicians when I feel it is warranted. Usually in those cases I use the term figuratively, but in the Kamel’s case a bit more literal. As to a link, you might start with a quote from Willie Brown himself, though somewhat circumspect in precise language.

Kamela’s basic ability to function as a prosecutor and think on her feet was demonstrated to the American public when Tulsi Gabbard exposed and excoriated her real track record in judicial office in the nomination debates. It appears in Murphy-Virus infected New Jersey the CORPORATE FASCISTS have started sending in the GESTAPO (machine guns drawn) to break down doors, imprison people who speak out against the SCAMDEMIC and threaten children with death (there was a five year old in that apartment). FOR SHAME!

“Several city blocks in Hoboken were shut down to traffic and pedestrians as law enforcement personnel conducted negotiations with those inside the apartment—which included a 5 year-old child. Just before 7:00 p.m., the decision was made to enter the residence.

“Fortunately when the Hudson County Regional SWAT entered the residence, that 5-year-old was recovered and brought out safely,” said Ferrante, “and a 41 year-old male was placed into custody.”

Authorities were unwilling to divulge the name of the man in custody. However, the neighbors have identified the man as Michael Marshalek. He has been charged with 2ndDegree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The 5-year-old is in the safe custody of his mother.

Marshalek, a Hoboken resident, has recently made news as being a vocal opponent of the face mask ordinance put forth by the City of Hoboken.
“Fascism will not be tolerated here,” he said, in an August 19 Hoboken City Council meeting. “We the people demand to be left the f*** alone. You are suppressing the people, putting people in fear, subverting the mainstream media with a mediated false reality of science with these fake hoaxes to control the minds of the people. No one died, no one cried… ”

That ordinance, which would have potentially fined violators $250 for not wearing masks, was voted down by the Council that evening.
Regarding the Friday incident Chief Ken Ferrante stated, ”I would like to thank the Hoboken Police Department’s School Resource Officers under Lieutenant Melissa Gigante, and Sergeants Chris LaBruno and David Olivera, the Hoboken Police Dept’s Patrol officers and ESU team under the supervision of Sgt. Luke Zeszotarski, the Hoboken Police Detectives under Capt. Gino Jacobelli, and especially Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, her staff, and the Hudson County Regional SWAT team for the collaboration today which made a highly complicated, concerning and potentially dangerous situation, result in a safe recovery of a 5 yr old boy and successful apprehension of a male, without injury to anyone! The creation of the Hudson County Regional SWAT team by Prosecutor Suarez, once again results in a peaceful and successful ending due to the skills, training and leadership of this team!”
Hoboken Mayor Ravinder Bhalla stated, “I’m very grateful to all of our law enforcement personnel, including the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and it’s Regional SWAT Team, our Emergency Service Unit, detectives and police officers for going above and beyond responding to the scene of a highly dangerous situation tonight. Thanks to their quick and provisional response, all individuals are physically safe. My thoughts are with the victims of the unfortunate incident.”

Sigh. Basic facts abandoned.

Harris is from Central California, NOT “Northern” California. Those of us from Northern California, really, REALLY HATE this lie. The Bay Area, as well as the state capital, Sacramento, are only “northern” in that the “middle” line of the state is just to their south. But Northern California is actually the top third of the state, and does not include the Bay Area or Sacramento. Those areas are CENTRAL California.

This is actually a very important distinction that is lost on almost everyone who isn’t from the northern part of the state. Even the California MSM gets this wrong on a daily basis. They don’t live in the north of the state and have no idea what it even looks like outside of driving up Interstate 5 on their way to Portland or Seattle. They are almost entirely clueless what goes on in the North of their own state. They think it’s all pot farms and empty land, which is an assumption that could not be more incorrect.

Look into the State of Jefferson movement and get a look into why Northern California wants nothing to do with the Bay Area or Sacramento. Both are total shitholes, by the way. SF used to be nice for tourists back in the 80’s and 90’s but now the “real” San Francisco means you’re likely to step in human feces on the street or be assaulted. Sacramento has always been one of the worst places to live in the whole state.

It’s always frustrating when people attempt to speak so authoritatively on something they actually have zero knowledge of. Has this author even been to California? Have they ever even looked at its map? Have they examined the role of the State of Jefferson movement or the political, social, and economic divide that separates Northern California from Central California, and how Harris’ upbringing relates to this? Clearly not.

I got to the part in this story where it claimed Harris was from “Northern California” and I ceased reading, not wanting further inaccuracies, and came to comment. When an author has such a poor grasp of basic facts and the social, historical, and political context of a person’s upbringing, then a story about that person cannot be seen as fully factual. These days being informed means immediately ceasing to read any document that spouts such blatant admissions of ignorance.

Get the basic facts right and people who know these facts will not tune out as quickly as I have.

It’s because of climate engineering and weather modification – specifically, their omission from almost all talk of climate by the so-called “experts” as well as the so-called “deniers” – that only a handful of individuals can be taken seriously.

The geoengineers have wreaked and are still wreaking havoc on the planet’s life support systems; and, all the while, an armchair war is being played out between those who promote global warming and those who would debunk it.

This is where otherwise spot on individuals such as James Corbett go awry: they somehow conclude that because the ruling elites are milking climate change for all they can get out of it, climate change itself must be a scam.

Thank you for that article. While it is informative, I believe it sugar coats the Rockefeller agenda with a patina of anti-oil. The fact appears to be that the new Green Energy requires far greater use of petroleum and coal based energy to extract this new energy.

And, indeed, the continuing struggle to gain carbon based sources of energy gives the lie to any notion that the Rockefellers would like to end the reliance on oil.

Bottom line: no rich person ever slew a Cash Cow; and never will.

Hello Jyrkoff: I’m somewhat familiar with the State of Jefferson movement. States secession rights are clearly defined in the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution. America was originally a Confederate Republic, not a nation of enslaved states…

I guess one could argue the difference of financial demographics within the state of California .Cities such as San Diego and Los Angeles are economically anchored by military bases and advanced technical industries. The former city of San Francisco has become as you describe…

I’ve found it helpful to continue reading an article, even when the text may differ with my own views. You may learn of many things from such practice…

Given Trump’s emergency measures under the banner of making ‘America great again’ has failed miserably to reverse the Empires economic decline internationally, It will be interesting to see what solutions the deep-state have come up with to delay the coming economic catastrophe.

It looks like massive government spending will be a part of it, at least until the dollar collapses, which explains why Kamala, Biden is an irrelevant fool, will be the next president.

It needs to look logical to preserve the illusion of democracy, so that is why Kamala will front up public spending, which will mostly go to the richest corporations.

After dollar printing is exhausted, I suppose keeping their dead off the streets will be American’s next priority. For this Kamala is also perfect qualified, having already condemned hundreds of thousands of her countrymen to years of slavery in the Corporate prison complex. Growing the prison system and putting millions in corporate slave camps makes Kamala the perfect candidate.

They may be called “quarantine management” something or other. But yes, they will be gulags/re-education/rendition/concentration camps. Also for the purpose of population reduction. Privately run for profit, of course.

I think the real situation is far more intentional than you suggest, and not at all accidental.

“deep-state… to delay the coming economic catastrophe” — The interests that run the state have triggered economic catastrophe. The war on terror since 2001 (just after the Dot Com Crash, remember) has been an excuse to militarize the police in order to control the population when the economy is taken down in a managed fashion. It must be managed because in genuine chaos the rich would risk losing out. They won’t take that risk.

“massive government spending will be a part of it” — it is already clear that the government cannot spend its way out of this. Thus the monetary reset. If the old game of tax and spend, or the the slightly less old game of print and spend, worked, there would be no talk of Great Reset. The liabilities will be reduced. The pensions, the elderly, the sick and disabled, the “useless eaters” etc.

“preserve the illusion of democracy” — is that what you think is going on in Australia, the UK or even the (mostly Democratic) states in the U.S.? They have abandoned all pretense of democracy.

“keeping their dead off the streets will be American’s next priority” — like the huge spike in homeless? The rich will hide behind their gates. They will try to hide the carnage in the camps but I fear it will be too extensive to keep it off the streets.

“[experience in] corporate slave camps makes Kamala the perfect candidate” — agreed.

This is managed. This is not the elite responding to some unexpected crisis. They intend to hold onto their advantage by staying ahead of the game: provoking the crisis, not reacting to it. All the decrees (not laws, because the legislature has been suspended in the UK, Australia and Canada) point to the people being left or cast outside the polity, beyond the Pale.

The markets now like crashes with government safety nets, because they come out richter than before. Unlike during the economic crashes befor 20008 which used to wipe the over leveraged wealthy, out. The long term mismanagement and collapse of the US economy was not intentional, it was a result of misguided ideology and will impoverish wealthy Americans like it will the rest.

Trump is a “war-time president”; it’s MAGA vs. NWO Empire; MAGA is the “existential threat” to the Empire; and the global, economic decline of the Empire is being brought on intentionally by Trump. See:

Great article. Hits all the shibboleths that were unsayable just months ago.

Now we agree that politics is manipulated by hidden hands. But the picture is still incomplete.

Politics can’t be manipulated unless education and the teaching of history is also controlled and that means academia.

Nor can politics be manipulated unless financial markets and banking are also manipulated and that requires that the professions be compromised, such as lawyers and accountants. They all touch upon the same interests thus they cannot operate independently.

Benjamin Disraeli explains this in his novel Coningsby. I suggest you read the real quote. https://www.jrbooksonline.com/disraeli_quotes.htm

Or from modern popular culture, in Paddy Chayefsky’s masterpiece, Network (1976):

There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels.

It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet.

The intelligence agencies don’t operate in a vacuum. They engage with the same interests as the bankers — they are not an alternative. They are not answerable to the people, nor can they protect the people’s interests as the Democrats and Progressives delude themselves.

Intelligence agencies are thugs constituted as private muscle by the bankers whom they serve to this day — though I know they also delude themselves.

Some of the interests’ names we know.:Rockefeller, acting through Carnegie. Rothschild, acting through Morgan, Rhodes and Milner and, today, the British crown.

Of course one could go back to the early modern era and the interests behind the French revolution, or behind Oliver Cromwell for that matter.

It’s fascinating to see people discuss openly what so recently was taboo.

You’re all jumping the gun here. A Biden/Harris win is nowhere near as settled as the media would like everyone to believe. Just as the media’s portrayal of dying old people as COVID-19 victims is shot full of holes; so too its portrayal of a dying Trump presidency omits more than it includes.

Ironically, since we know elections mean or change nothing, this may have the clearest “choice” of any election in recent American history. Namely, do you want the lockdown to continue indefinitely or don’t you. Not to say that Trump would, or even could, end the lockdowns state by state; but people do associate Trump with being anti-lockdown.

In that regard, I have to hope Trump is re-elected – because it means there are more people against than for the lockdown.

Exactly. It’s of no importance who becomes president. All that matters is why certain voters vote for one candidate and not another. Normally that too is of no importance.

But this time around, if – and that’s a big “If” – voters vote for Trump as a protest against lockdown (which Biden has promised to continue non-stop), then that gives hope that perhaps enough people have come to their senses to save humanity from the machinations of the ruling class.

Whereas a Biden landslide would spell the end for America because it would mean the majority have not returned to their senses and probably never will.

Sometimes offering no solutions means there are no solutions.

When Google finally reveals itself as an arm of the ruling class; and when the ruling class increases its hold on not only the persons but the minds of the majority of people to where so few “get” what’s happening that no resistance can ever hope to succeed – then it becomes more impossible to see solutions than to see the corona virus that’s become the Toast Of The Town.

I have mixed feelings about citing the corrupt and compromised Wikipedia site, but this excerpt seems accurate enough:
______________________________________

Samizdat (Russian: самизда́т, lit. “self-publishing”) was a form of dissident activity across the Eastern Bloc in which individuals reproduced censored and underground makeshift publications, often by hand, and passed the documents from reader to reader. The practice of manual reproduction was widespread, due to the fact that most typewriters and printing devices were inventorized and required permission to access. This grassroots practice to evade official Soviet censorship was fraught with danger, as harsh punishments were meted out to people caught possessing or copying censored materials.

Vladimir Bukovsky summarized it as follows:

“Samizdat: I write it myself, edit it myself, censor it myself, publish it myself, distribute it myself, and spend time in prison for it myself.”

‘samizdat’ is, I believe a word borrowed from Russia. A generic term for underground leaflets or zines of the day, when state repression was at its height. A contemporary or latter day example here, might be a leaflet, hand delivered letterbox style. This method has several advantages, when you think about it…It is anyway important to get the truth out. Then people have at least an informed choice. That’s the idea, anyway.

cheers.

Themtube and their handlers took a quick look as to who is likely to report and inform on Biden Jnr and banned them as an example to others.
Themtube don’t seem to realise or care that they are driving millions of followers of these people and their good work away from their website to Bitchute, Dtube. Lbry, etc. The more they ban and erase, the more these sites will grow, the more people will visit them, ad exposure will dwindle, so it’s not impossible for Themtube to disappear down the memory hole like a number of other sites who also felt they had a monopoly to play with.

Themtube seem to think that they are the only place for posting content. Themtube is rapidly morphing into a site to stay away from if one wants factual adult information. Themtube management are obviously betting on the NWO taking control of the planet. When that fails, themtube sackings and public grovelling will begin.

Yes they do and they will still have millions of viewers. However, the smart people looking for accurate info in their millions would have moved elsewhere.

The closing down of sites, the purging of websites, the blocking of Infowars, they have all been done for a reason. That reason is because millions, probably billions, haven’t bought the mainstream slander and want answers from where ever it may be. The NWO quango is trying to kill this free speech.

I’m sure themtube will see a drop in the viewing figures and their advertisers will know that they are ‘reaching’ less people.
As you can probably tell, i’m an optimist.

Me thinks the author is too kind. Hilarity not running for the hot seat had nothing to do with being in a position to do so. The american people soundly rejected her last time around. Her party turned a ‘healthy lead’ into a dismal failure which drove the ex secretary of state to the bottle for a few weeks. No noone shows up for Biden even though MSM keeps accrediting sleepy joe the a ‘healthy lead’.
Déjà vu in spades.

Nancy Pelosi’s needn’t have bothered with the 25th Amendment commission as sleepy joe will never win anyway. Plus quite a number of US presidents have had some sort of mental deficiency. The acceptance of low mental standards has spread throughout nato countries.

Just recently in Blighty, 300 politicians didn’t show up for a debate which will strip UK citizens of most, if not all, of their human and civil rights. These representatives of the people were ordered not to show up! So it seems that obeying the regime is now more important to careers than fulfilling their promise and oaths to the electorate. Knowing the history of the Brits, there is only one way that will go.

None want to give up their privileges and will do anything to protect these along with the nepotism and the corrupt way of life. For that they willingly throw their constituents under the bus whenever they are instructed. Those not immediately thrown under the bus are later sold down the river.

The public seems to be confused as to what most present day politicians really are. The noble reasons for doing the job are just romantic nonsense to most when faced with piles of easy money.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, whatever the ideology. There used to be a back door in gov’t for such crime but these days they have installed revolving doors which makes things much easier.

Interesting that Max Parry mentions that Kamala Harris may unconsciously harbour resentment against her father Donald Harris and has a difficult relationship with him. Hillary Clinton is also supposed to have had a difficult relationship with her father Hugh Rodham. Can it be that both women have gravitated towards each other or towards the same camp within the Democratic Party if (and because) they have something in common even if neither of them is completely aware of it but sense it somehow?

As I never get tired of mentioning, I live just outside of Philadelphia, PA.

I confess that I generally avoid local mainstream/corporate news, except for grudgingly skimming the local newspaper website, Inquirer.com; I also listen to the local newsradio station, KYW 1060, in the morning for “top of the hour” headlines, and glance at its website.

That said, I was mildly surprised to watch this revealing clip because it hasn’t gotten any local media coverage. It was the first I’d heard of it.

My disclosure about not following local news outlets closely actually supports, if not confirms, my sense that this story is being ignored or suppressed by local news producers and editors– or maybe they don’t know about it either!

The Inquirer and KYW are happy to publish reports about any old trivial gaffe or politically-incorrect slip that can be spun with breathless sensationalism. To make an obvious comparison, if Trump had been “overheard” calling mask-wearing “political theater” it would’ve been, er, Trumpeted all over both national and local mainstream news.

Obviously, news venues who’ve been Megadeath Virus of Doom narrative megaphones discreetly judged that this incident just isn’t “newsworthy”.

I’m only sorry it wasn’t the odious PA Minister of the Public-Health Gestapo making that telling cavalier remark.

Thought of you today, Ort, as I shopped to the tune of “Out of concern for our customer’s….” Do you notice they say “blah blah blah ‘to avoid the spread of disease'” NOT to avoid the spread of Covid19, to avoid the spread of disease.

This is never going to end.

Someone ratted me out and a supermarket staff person came running over asking me if I needed a mask. I said, no, medical exemption, brought out my card.

“Well, can you have someone else do the shopping?”

No.

Then he goes into the “we all have to take responsibility…”

I said “I’m not sick”

Then he gives me the asymptomatic diagnosis which I politely argued, but of course, dontya know, two staff people caught the megadeath virus of doom from asymptomatic customers.

I finished my shopping and left. He was of course running on about people who don’t take it seriously….

Found another supermarket on the way home It was fine. I should have known not to go on a Sunday afternoon. All the Karen’s are out.

Why isn’t Kamala Harris running in her own right? No Democrat or Progressive can explain.

They told us it’s time for a woman president. That victory for principles was more important than the merits of any particular woman. So why not Harris?

ProgressiveZzz… zzz… zzz… zzz… zzz…zzz… zzz… zzz… zzz… zzz… zzz… zzz

I’ve got a reason. They don’t want people looking too closely at Harris. Because she has true authoritarian-progressive tendencies that the people do not like. Even less than three-strikes, privatized prisons, war-on-blacks, racist Biden.

A dementia-addled crook is going to poll better than Kamala Harris.

Oh, dear. Oh, Democrats.

Kamala Harris did run in her own right until she was slaughtered by Tulsi Gabbard in the early Democrat primary debates.

“Operation Midnight Climax, a sub-program of Project MK-Ultra, where the Bay Area became a petri dish for its human experimentation”.

As Midnight Climax operative George White wrote to MK Ultra overlord Sidney Gottlieb:
‘Where else could a red-blooded American boy lie, kill, cheat, steal, rape and pillage with the sanction and blessing of the All-Highest?’

“Maupin interprets [Arendt’s] notion as implicitly concluding that lurking underneath the surface of every ordinary hardworking person is a potential fascist”.

The missing link here that makes that connection explicit is ‘The Authoritarian Personality’.

Is there something going on with the number 77? Biden is 77, Flight 77 supposedly hit the Pentagon and Aleister Crowley’s O.T.O. manifesto Liber OZ is also known as Book 77.

Only two quibbles:

The first: Yet in spite of her work, Arendt controversially participated in the shameful post-war apologia and rehabilitation of Heidegger’s reputation.”

That’s putting it mildly, since a 17-year-old, Stockholm-syndrome-bedeviled Arendt did the groundwork, for her subsequent participation in the apologia-fest, by performing oral on the then-35-year-old fraud Heidegger. And she kept at it for quite some time, too: well into the Hitler era, during which Heidegger acquired status as Addy’s philosopher-cheerleader. This was not merely the regrettable behavior of a self-loathing schoolgirl: Arendt was blowing Heidegger again as late as the 1950s: how’s that for “rehabilitation”?

The second quibble: (Stockholm-syndrome-bedeviled) Harris will be allowed to be no better or worse than Clinton, Bush, Trump or BHO (et al) were allowed to be while performing her principal chore, which being: to act as a scapegoat / influencer/ rodeo clown while TFIC continue making bold moves to establish the thousand year reich (spellcheck wants me to capitalize the r-word for some reason) based on their terrifyingly inhuman notion of Heaven on Earth. What can Harris get up to that is worse than the agenda she serves by merely being there?

Nonsense. She will continue doing the same things that every president does. Ideology is totally irrelevant, but personality sometimes matters briefly. Every now and then a president gets rebellious and manages to change one or two tiny rules in the last few days of his second term, and then the next president immediately deletes the changes and restores the permanent absolute unstoppable evil. For instance, Obama tried to lower the temperature of our permanent wars against Cuba and Persia, then Trump immediately restored both wars to full force.

The vote isn’t really wasted. There has to be some ballast for counterbalance. Landslides can devastate societies too. Look what happened to Blighty during the tenure of thatcher and toady blaaar. Boy, did the Brits buy into that crock of shit.

Good grief!! As if there were no clearly Marx-oriented critiques of Leninism before the Frankfurt School, starting in 1918 with Rosa Luxemburg’s book Questions of Russian Social Democracy which became re-titled as Marxism or Leninism, or the German/Dutch Italian ultra left from 1918 onward, people such as Paul Mattick and Otto Ruhle, or the Surrealists and the Situationists (who were NOT Franfurt School graduates), not to mention the anarchist movement, the Makhnovists, the Catalonia collectives, One star, i tried to give it a zero but wasn’t allowed.

Communism: China does not provide subsidized heathcare, social security or pensions to their people. The politbureau politicians are all billionaires, having made their money from corruption, through the abuse of power. Their people are educated by memorising exam papers, not by reasoning from first principles, they are not problem solvers and are very obedient. There is currently a trend for elderly people without income to jump off building and kill themselves. TenCent had to install suicide nets in their factories: every other day a person would jump to their death due to the working conditions. This is modern communism.

Singapore is very different. First, at least Singapore provides public housing, and good public housing. Secondly, Singapore does not pretend to be a communist state, they are authoritarian, but are not pretending. Third, Singapore has national service, it hardens up the flocks of mummys boys that tend to be the majority in modern ethnic Chinese populations. Fourth, Singapore has a decent education system, are fiercely independent and try to instill that independence in their people – just look at what they achieved trying to be independent of Malaysia for drinking water. The future for Singapore looks bright, the future for Hong Kong, we wait to see.

Communism in China collapsed when Mao died and by then it was only being given lip service by the emerging neoliberal class of elites waiting in the wings to reinstall the corrupt mandarin system .The suicide nets are a typically capitalist response to a loss of productivity ?

Agreed. Foxconn is a Taiwanese company enjoying the low employment standards of mainland China, like the rest of the pseudo-capitalist world. Suicide nets help to secure the supply of cheap Apple iphones. They would not get away with such working conditions in Taiwan.

The CCP has been buying the politicians of the USA in the same way as it bought the politicians of Africa at the end of the last century. The CCP has been using this tactic – invasion by corruption – for over fifty years now. Why did the west think that the CCP would not use the same tried and tested process on the west?

Corruption has proved to be a much more effective way of taking over a country than war. With the massive amounts of money being spent by the CCP, the politicians in the West stood no chance of turning back the onslaught.

The US Democats – the bought politicians – are going to let the CCP – their masters – steal anything they want from the USA. The billionaires want this, all they can see is money, but if the Covid scam has told us anything, it is that the new powers in this world do not give a fuck about you and will keep you imprissoned, wearing masks, or whatever they fancy, to get what they want.

If Trump wins the election then he can slow them down, but the chances of stopping these people is very unlikely. The CCP has flooded the world with corruption, the tempatation has empowered the politicians, journalists and other CCP beneficiaries to destroy the USA.

Perhaps China is serving as the model society for the New Normal being implemented by the global ruling class, but the CCP does not control the World Economic Forum and is not responsible for the Western oligarchs’ Great Reset.

Agreed. The US billionaires are far more powerful, but the combination of the China slavery model combined with the US billionaires model offers the CCP a chance to achieve the Xi dream of ruling the world, while offering the billionaires a captive audience that is required to purchase expensive big pharma products in order to gain extra freedom from the CCP rulers of the world. The big pharma tech is the next internet boom, the only problem is that people are not buying, so the CCP offers a solution.

You may have something there Wile. I think this bit is illuminating ….

“Maupin dares to ask — is her chosen career path as a criminal prosecutor and top legal officer disproportionately locking up black men unconsciously motivated by a vendetta against her father? Could it even explain her thinly-veiled contempt for the progressive politics she now pretends to uphold as a politician?”

We don’t really know, of course, but this would explain a lot about her personality and political agenda.

If the billionaire’s club have decided they want her as president, she has already been s/elected. As usual.
