The one-day event will bring together key campaigners and researchers from the UK and beyond to discuss the genocide in Palestine, (Syria and Lebanon) and its connection to the global techno-totalitarian agenda. Israel’s genocidal attacks in Gaza drove a wedge through the freedom movement as many erstwhile allies of the oppressed lined up behind the Zionist cause.
As Israel’s AI-targeted bombs and weaponized drones continue to wreak apocalyptic levels of destruction on the bodies of children and civilians, the willingness of some anti-lockdown figures to endorse the slaughter in the name of the Zionist-imperialist propaganda machine reveals a feeble commitment to the genuine principles of class and human liberation.
The mass base of the movement, however, recognise a continuity between the repressive politics of Israel and those of lockdowns, mandatory vaccinations and the classist suppression of all individual freedoms so viscerally apparent in the Covid-19 event.
In the light of Fourth Industrial Revolution researcher Alison Mcdowell’s contention that: “artificial intelligence is the next settler colonizer. The takeover of life on the planet by AI is the next stage of erasure of potentially of all natural life”, the rallying cry of anti-genocide protestors everywhere, “we are all Palestinians!” has never been more salient.
We will be interrogating such themes, as well as hearing from some of the most dedicated and courageous campaigners for Palestinian liberation out there, at this one-of-a-kind event. The conference aims to educate, inform and help forge relationships and solidarity between those concerned with either or both inextricably interlinked issues.
Registration will open at 9.45am and the event will end by approximately 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch break from 12.30-1.30, plus 1/2 hr coffee/tea break in the afternoon.

Yahya Abu Seido – As founder of the student Society for Palestine at UCU and lately the Association for Student Activism for Palestine, Yahya has been deeply involved in the student movement for disinvestment. He has a number of extended family members currently fighting for their lives Gaza, but beyond this personal connection, Yahya believes the Palestinian struggle for justice is one of universal relevance and concern to us all.
Dr Ang Swee Chai – Co-founder of Medical Aid for Palestinians, orthopaedic surgeon Dr Swee has undertaken multiple visits to Palestine to treat the wounded. She has authored a number of books including: ‘From Beirut to Jerusalem’ which documents her experience in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. She was awarded the ‘Star of Palestine’ by Yasser Arafat in recognition of her humanitarian work.
Yael Kahn – Israeli born anti-Zionist campaigner for 50 years, Yael grew up witnessing, and from the age of 19 working to end, the injustices and oppressions faced by Palestinians over many decades. She has recently attracted viral attention due to a sustained campaign of police harassment in response to her peaceful demonstrations with unapologetically anti-apartheid and genocide signs.
Our research focused talks of the day, with two of the three speakers coming specially from Europe to present, are as follows.

Real Left, may I ask how among the vast number of authors who say similar things about AI, you chose to quote Alison McDowell accurately (probably her old claim, which almost 100% is not valid for her today). By the way, did you contact her before quoting her? I’m pretty sure not; I absolutely can’t imagine how she would agree with that mention.
I just want to tell you a fact (and not my opinion/guess!): Alison McDowell will go crazy when she finds out that Real Left wrote and Off-G published this. A few months ago she broke off relations with her closest aide, Jason, for various reasons, one of which was that he wanted to talk about what was happening in Gaza (he was protecting the Palestinians). But Alison no longer deals with either this or the other major events, the noise around which, she considers deliberately created (she can explain in more detail), but she concentrated solely in her specific research and investigations. (Whether she is right or not is another matter, a matter of personal opinion. I think she is wrong not to investigate the causes and objectives behind these events, but my opinion is irrelevant. But that’s what she does, which is her right.)

The injustice heaped on Palestinians is very similar to the process used to systematically displace Native Americans from their lands back in the 19th century. Then, as now, the displaced peoples were regarded as less than civilized, not deserving of any consideration and so on and any pushback was met with savage reprisals and used as justification for further suppression. Then, as now, there were plenty of voices raised in objection to what was happening but they were largely ignored. The lust for resources — land, water, whatever — took precedence over humanity.
Contemporary Israel has become a truly murderous state. Despite a friendly Western media and increasing legal and fiscal pressure on everyone to follow the official line (and look the other way) its obvious that what’s been going on there is just plain, ordinary, genocide. This has bounced back on Jews in general — I’m very unhappy to see significant instances of traditional anti-Semitism in our informal media (its ruthlessly suppressed in most media). Its the unfortunate result of systematically conflating Zionism, a racist ideology that has very similar origins and narratives to Nazism, with Judaism, an old religion. (I’m not a Jew myself but I respect others’ beliefs; I don’t like organized religion myself merely because of its propensity to be captured by secular interests and used to justify anti-social acts.)

Well, it would certainly be a good start to “recognize the continuity” of mandates and lockdowns and the relentless censorship of so-called disinformation with the current censorship, but when I see a bunch of masked up faces protesting censorship I gotta say it seems many members of this group aren’t quite yet to the point of really recognizing that continuity. So many of those currently protesting seem far more concerned with calling out those who are OK with the current censorship but not with mandates and their hypocrisy than looking at the hypocrisy of their own movement, but hey, who am I to judge? IMHO all that “covid” censorship set the stage for what is now happening, as did cancel culture and all the whining over pronouns, etc. I and many others have repeatedly warned friends who tacitly accepted all that babble about “misinformation” that wasn’t that once their side was out of power the other side would do to them what they did to others, and here we are.

Nobody is being asked to be anti-Israel by the current mainstream resistance movement. Only anti oppression, terrorizing and ethnic cleansing. The problem is that many people don’t understand the distinction, or that the latter applies to all the Islamist fanatics as well as the Zionist ones.
That would be like asking for a good sauerkraut recipe during 1930s-era Germany with full knowledge of the death camps. Maybe perfect hummus recipe is in order?

There are, of course many really good hearted people living in Israel and opposed to the zionists, but they are in the minority and there doesn’t seem to be any way of that changing.
