YouTube shuts down a Russian “Fox”

Rhys Jones

It has been worrying to read about Off-Guardian’s recent difficulties with it’s Facebook news feed, where posts have been blocked and denied propagation. Another very similar situation has been brought to my attention that reinforces the view that the US deep state is behind the steering wheel at Google, Facebook, YouTube and likely every other western social media platform as well.

Tsargrad TV is a Russian channel owned by Konstantin Malofeev, one of Putin’s biggest supporters amongst Russia’s wealthiest entrepreneurs. A renowned Fox News producer Jack Hanick shared Fox’s production prowess with Tsargrad and the channel quickly became something of an Internet phenomenon, as has AJ+, Al Jazeera’s YouTube channel.

Like AJ+ it was following a YouTube-centric (rather than a conventional TV) model. Besides becoming known for the best production values amongst Russian broadcasters, it unashamedly supports Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The Google subsidiary blocked Tsargrad’s YouTube account on July 28th over “a violation of the law on sanctions and trade rules”. The channel’s owner, Konstantin Malofeev, was under EU sanctions for his alleged involvement in the civil war in Donbass (on the pro-Russian side that is supported by the overwhelming majority of the people of Donbass).

Naturally, Western support for the other side, the Ukrainian far-right, is considered “kosher”. For some reason it enjoys a “license to kill” and those, like German-based Sergey Loznitsa, who produce Goebbelsian hate films about the people of Donbass, may fear no such sanctions from their hypocritical hosts.

Konstantin Malofeev has been under EU sanctions since 2014, so why was Tsargrad’s YouTube account suddenly struck off six years later? The move reveals more about US internal politics than about the US-Russia feud. Tsargrad must have hit a nerve within the US “deep state” mafia when they interviewed Alexander Korobko (above), the co-author of Vladimir Putin’s most thorough biography (authored with Chris Hutchins).

A native of Donetsk and the author of “New York to Donetsk and back”, approached Donald Trump by letter with an offer to engage in a no-nonsense conversation about his native Donbass. Alexander had produced a documentary about Joe Biden’s involvement and direct role in the war with Donbass and wanted to share with Trump what he had learnt during his investigation.

Alexander Korobko and his Russian Hour production company had uncovered a major scandal, which could potentially bring Biden to a Senate Committee hearing similar to Watergate and bring his presidential dreams down in a New York minute.

Tsargrad was planning to keep covering the story and Korobko’s new feature film “Alpha R”, about the events in Donbass. Alexander sent the letter to Trump flagging up his findings and it was officially received by the White House. It was probably this letter that was the last straw for the US deep state as it must have then ordered Google to strike out Tsargrad’s YT channel “out of the blue”…

Alexander Korobko described his plans to show his “Alpha R” film in the US during the US presidential election in November during a TV interview.

At the same time Tsargrad was about to launch an English-language micro-channel dedicated to that endeavour and to Donbass in general.

With over a million subscribers in Russia and with the prospect of becoming an influential foreign player in the US media realm, following the example of Qatar’s AJ+, Tsargrad became too much to handle for YouTube, that “beacon of freedom” that is filled with disturbing channels and videos under the pretext of giving a voice to the voiceless, as long as those voices are weak, strange and not threatening to the Western “Ministry of Truth”. Tsargrad’s YT channel just didn’t fit that bill.

Alexander Korobko, as the guest of the TV show to which the closure is “owed”, commented:

“Well, I totally agree with the President’s spokesperson (Dmitry Peskov) who said, “There is a solution – that is not to depend on Western platforms” […] Any Western platform is a private platform, which can throw you out along with your account at any moment […] We shall develop our own alternative to YouTube […] like China’s Youku, but geared to the entire world.

Korobko says that the idea of YouTube first appeared in a Russian sci-fi novel Battle in the Ether by Alexander Belyaev published back in 1928(!), in which he described “the central film archive operating automatically”:

Belyaev predicted (and described) the Internet with YouTube as part of it, albeit the writer didn’t use our modern tech lingo, obviously. I am sure the YT founders, along with Google’s Moscow born Sergey Brin, were inspired by such Russian visionaries as Alexander Belyaev and studied their predictions. A pity they don’t fully share their values such as our universal empathy.

[…] The Tube has become too narrow and hollow, we need a video platform which is truly open yet not ochlocratic […] for instance, those who make comments should be identifiable as YouTube comments’ “anonymity” brings out the worst in people, poisons and dumbs down any conversation and promotes frivolity not freedom.

YouTube has become the “Kunstkamera” of the world; a freak show, where the downright sick, ugly, bizarre and horrible is thrown into a mix with the curious and amusing, a place where knowledge is far outweighed by half-knowledge and fakery.

We all agree that there’s a ton of good stuff there too, but it’s not produced by YT, the latter uses and abuses creators and robs them of income and the ability to make a living unless they buy into a ridiculous “numbers” game and a clickbait “culture”. It doesn’t offer content creators a real pay-per-view model or other sophisticated tools such as “pay to continue watching” etc. The world needs a YouView platform where “you” will be treated like a person, not a number.”

YouTube seems to have had enough of Russia. Well, it should be afraid that Russia, a huge audience, has had enough with YouTube.

President Trump Asked About Susan Rice and Obamagate – Says Obama and Others Probably Guilty of Treason
Aug 10, 2020

When asked by the One America News White House correspondent Chanel Rion about the possibility of Susan Rice being chosen as a running mate by former Vice President Joe Biden, President Trump did not hold back. Discussing surveillance crimes committed by Obama’s administration, President Trump said that:

The Obama campaign spied on our campaign and they’ve been caught. Now let’s see what happens to them. They have been caught. They have been caught red-handed. It’s probably treason. It’s a horrible thing they did. . . . They used the intelligence agencies of our country to spy on my campaign and they have been caught. There are a lot of people involved. I don’t want to say how much she’s involved, frankly if he chooses her that’s fine, but that’s a potential liability. . . . They all knew about it. . . . And we have it documented.

Trump listed people who were involved, including President Obama, Joe Biden, James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The president concluded that this was the “political crime of the century.”

SPEAKING OF CORRUPTION

Anyone with access to millions of viewers and credible evidence about Biden’s corruption in Ukraine is immediately censored. In the end, Trump’s impeachment hearings were all about an attempt to investigate Hunter Biden and creepy Joe’s wheelings and dealings in Ukraine and how they profited from the deaths of thousands.
Those who delve too far into Hunter Biden’s corruption is attacked by the same segment of the intelligence agencies which want Trump out and dimwit Joe in. This internecine battle has been going on for four years.

Crony capitalism is nothing new to a seasoned crook like Joe. His five decade political career is littered with anti-working-class legislation advanced to secure jobs or lucrative contracts for family members. In the book “Secret Empires” it describes how Devon Archer made a private visit to the White House for a meeting with Biden. The day prior Burisma deposited more than $112,000 into a Rosemount bank account (Hunter Biden and Kerry’s stepson were involved with Rosemont) marked C/O Devon Archer.  Six days later it was announced Archer was joining the board of Burisma. Shortly after that Hunter Biden also joined the board of directors of Burisma. Each man was paid $834,333.33 per month or a total of $1 million a year by Burisma–neither had any experience in the energy sector.

There’s a slimy long list of Joe’s shady deals. Vacuous Joe advocated for Bush’s Iraq war to secure a lucrative construction contract for his brother. To get all the detestable details about Joe I recommend a book by Peter Schweizer entitled “Profiles in Corruption.”

Oh and speaking of corruption, Biden just picked Kamala Harris as a running mate an empty vessel warmonger. “Kamala Harris’ first significant political role was an appointment by her powerful then-boyfriend Willie Brown, three decades her senior, to a California medical board that has been criticized as a landing spot for patronage jobs and kickbacks.

Then 30, Harris was dating 60-year-old Willie Brown, at the time the Democratic speaker of the California State Assembly, when he placed her on the California Medical Assistance Commission in 1994. The position paid over $70,000 per year, $120,700 in current money, and Harris served on the board until 1998. The medical commission met twice a month, and Harris, a United States senator for California since 2017 and now Joe’s running mate missed about 20% of the meetings each year.”
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/kamala-harris-launched-political-career-with-120k-patronage-job-from-boyfriend-willie-brow

“Most revealing was Harris’ appointment to the Intelligence Committee in 2017—the only newly elected Democrat to be given such a critical position, and an indication that, as far as the Democratic Party establishment and the military-intelligence apparatus were concerned, Harris is a “safe pair of hands.”

Harris has repaid this confidence by acting as the point woman, among the Democratic presidential candidates, for the bogus anti-Russian campaign, demanding Trump’s impeachment, not for his flagrant violations of the US Constitution or his persecution of immigrants, but based on the McCarthyite smear that he is a stooge of Moscow.

Speaking at the California Democratic Party’s convention in early June, Harris said, “Let’s talk about this so-called commander in chief. He parrots Russia’s lies over the word of American intelligence and law enforcement leaders. He denies that Russia interfered in the election of the president of the United States. We need to begin impeachment proceedings and we need a new commander in chief.”  https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2019/07/19/harr-j19.html

Getting back to the Off Guardian article, Alexander Korobko stated: “Those who make comments should be identifiable as YouTube comments’ “anonymity” brings out the worst in people, poisons and dumbs down any conversation and promotes frivolity not freedom.”
I DISAGREE–Anonymity is imperative that’s why genuine investigative journalist never reveal their sources. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to know that those who dare express unpopular positions will be targeted for retribution.

Agree about Kemala – a female Obama figure, the latest chosen one.
Biden would be just setting her up to takeover within the year. He had dementia and would fail on medical authority. He will not be doing live interviews or debate with Trump during the election as the mental handicap would be obvious

It’s a last grasp at democratic coup!

Trump knows what the DS did to Corbyn and how and he knows the same forces are aiming at him (even from within his own Cabinet).

This Caesar heeds the ‘ides of March’ and has set up the unraveling of the conspirators- it comes down to the leashing of the praetorian guards.

As for anonymity on YT – there is none on FarceBook and the DS has plenty of sock puppets on every social media. Stop that and let all identifiable individuals speak for themselves or hold their tongues.
At the moment the DS obviously knows who any anonymous individual is – the Snowden reveals show their arsenal.

Innocuous story out of NY today:

NEW YORK (AP) — New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who died in hospitals. That statistic could add thousands to the state’s official care home death toll of just over 6,600. But the administration of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has so far refused to divulge the figure, leading to speculation New York is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing better than other states.

Here’s another “minor story” in the Covid money grab saga. Spoke to someone today who was a contractor involved in the construction of 5 of the military covid hospitals. He said quite bluntly there were millions being “stolen” meaning price gouging. He specifically cited Javits stating that it actually cost $8 million but the price of $75 million is what we the taxpayers were charged. I was trying to get him to go on record with his story and he would not. I’m completely certain based on several specifics he cited that this is the case. Now of course this is nothing new and I suspect well will be hearing more of this as the smoke clears.

Russia, China, Iran and all independent people everywhere, need to cleanse their environment completely of all Zionist controlled poisonous institutions and substitute their own organisations.
The vampiric financial structure, the lying, poisonous corporate MSM and its internet platforms, hopelessly corrupted and compromised bodies like the IAEA, OPCW, ICC, ICHR, and others. The legion of CIA Front Groups, bogus charities and human rights organisations. Kick them all out completely, and ruthlessly smash any Gweedo/ Banderastan type domestic fifth column with the utmost ruthlessness.
After establishing its own alternative architecture, this should be offered to all countries and peoples subjected to genocidal Zionist terror, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia, DPRK, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, countless others. Insulating themselves from the slaughter, butchery, starvation and misery routinely inflicted on them by the rabid Zionist controlled US and its satellites. In the process isolating and quarantining the Neocon filth completely, such that their murder and mayhem disappear from the planet.

Youtube and Facebook consist of gatherings of the masses, which means gatherings in which mediocrity rules (and the level of mediocrity is very very low). These are sheeple systems, no matter whether they are Zionist initiatives (like Youtube,Facebook, etc), or Russian, or Chines initiatives. All such systems, when they grow large enough will follow the same course as the Zionist systems. They are all the dicatorship of the masses, who are consequently smartly directed by more intelligent people.

Pro-Israel advocacy groups in the UK made a series of complaints to the Office of Communications (Ofcom), the quasi-government regulator that ensures fairness and accuracy on British television. Al Jazeera is a signatory and abides by Ofcom’s stringent codes of practice.
The complainants levelled charges of anti-Semitism, bias, unfair editing and infringement of privacy. After an eight-month investigation, Ofcom’s detailed, 60-page ruling rejected each complaint in full.

And so the Vaccine Race begins…
And Russia’s version will be cheaper, even though none of them work…
Of all the world leaders at this time, I reckon only Putin has the sense of humour to survive this ridiculous nonsense. I doubt he cares, whichever way the wind blows.
“We’ll make some money if we can, but we can also have a good laugh at the same time”, sort of thing…

We’ll have to wait at least four years before assuming none of the vaccines work. The vaccine makers want blanket immunity (which they already have in the US) specifically because they don’t know what might happen four years from now.

If people start dropping like flies in four years, then we’ll know the vaccine was 100% successful.

I think we already know a lot more than that. Many critical thinkers have been doing a lot of homework for a decade or two by now, and I’m not sure we have four years to wait for anything in any case…

Vast Web of Clandestine Collaborations between Medical Academics and the CIA — Alliance for Human Research Protection

“The CIA and DOD penetrated and compromised the research integrity of 88 institutions — universities, medical centers, hospitals — into mass communication and techniques of persuasion, opinion measurement, and interrogation.

This alliance between covert intelligence and academia proved seminal in perverting academic medical professionals and undermining the fabric of democracy.”

MK-ULTRA [built] an extensive secret network of 185 psychiatrists and cognitive scientists who specialized in, psychopharmacology, psychological behavior conditioning, and behavior modification were recruited at 88 participating academic institutions.

These included: Harvard University and Boston Psychopathic Institute; Cornell Medical School, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Columbia University / NYS Psychiatric Institute; the University of Rochester; the University of Illinois Medical School, the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH), Lexington Kentucky, Center for Drug Addiction; Johns Hopkins, Princeton University, Yale University; Emory, the Universities of Minnesota, Oklahoma, Vermont; and McGill University in Canada.

Funds started flowing secretly through CIA’s conduits — 15 foundations served as money funneling fronts. These included: the Society for the Study of Human Ecology, the Josiah Macy Foundation, Geschickter Fund for Medical Research, Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations, and the Bureau of Social Science Research. (John Marks, Manchurian Candidate, 1979; Alfred McCoy, Science in Dachau’s Shadow 2006)

Government agencies also served as CIA conduits for mind control/ behavior modification experiments. These include: the Departments of Defense, Justice, Labor, Health Education and Welfare (HEW), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Science Fund (NSF), Veterans Administration (VA), Law Enforcement Assistance (LEA), and others. (Glen Yeadon. Nazi Hydra, 2008)

In effect, the CIA gained control of cognitive science, channeling the focus of research toward its dubious goal — to develop a psychological paradigm for mind control.”

This is how the CIA has always rolled. It’s an old book, but Michael Klare’s “War Without End – American Planning for the Next Vietnams” goes into great detail about the intelligence communities penetration of academia. There’s even a chapter titled “The Scientific Mercenaries – America’s Fourth Armed Service.” It’s breathtaking. Today, sadly, Michael is associated with the fakey TomDispatch website.

This study may be putting the cart before the horse. Things like the Rockefeller and Ford Foundations are not tools of the CIA but the other way around. The CIA is nothing but a water carrier for the ruling class, no doubt given marching orders on a daily basis lest they forget who’s the boss, who’s the servant.

I agree with you Howard. I think the article is just saying the foundations were used to disguise money follows originating with the government agencies.

The CIA was set up as the muscle for Wall St banks and lawyers representing the corporations. Just as the Pinkerton strike busters became the FBI. They have the same role today – protecting/grabbing assets for the owners.

July 16, 2020
Ghislaine Maxwell was far worse than Jeffrey Epstein when it came to abusing young women and girls, according to their most outspoken accuser — in fact, she was “Gepetto” to his “Pinocchio.”
“She was pulling the strings,” Virginia Roberts Giuffre told “CBS This Morning” of Maxwell on Thursday, calling Maxwell the mastermind, and a “monster.”
“Ghislaine was much more conniving and smart than Epstein ever was,” Giuffre said.

There is a possibility regarding Epstein which I haven’t yet seen discussed anywhere; and it’s based on the idea that he was merely “Pinocchio” while “Gepetto” Ghislaine was pulling the strings. The theory being that a deal was done with Epstein a long time ago, and that he’s now in witness protection.

If the deep-state is not covertly behind Google, Facebook, Twitter etc, they do at least have a giant back-door into the databases of these tech-giants. I don’t for a second believe Facebook is anything but a front for a giant Surveillance operation. The concept is brilliant of course: you get the users to report everything of relevance about themselves, who they know, what they like, what events they attend. it’s the wet dream and golden age of the intelligence services.

Then they have the option to spy on citizens search terms with google, manipulate public opinion by determining what pops up in a search engine algorithm, or just flat out censorship for “violating community guidelines” or some crap like that on Youtube or other platforms.

Apparently, the Chinese think the same thing and that’s obviously why Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. is banned in China and they have made their own alternatives. Of course, the point here is not that the Chinese Oligarchy are any better (they’re not), just pointing out the obvious reasons why you would not want these “tech giants” AKA intelligence operations in your country.

It’s refreshing to read an article on OFF-G which labels those behind all the censorship, control and increasing authoritarianism we all loathe: the deep state, which is also trying to remove Trump and regain control over the US presidency it lost to an outsider rebel in 2016. Hopefully posters may realise that Trump is fighting unaccountable power and corruption (‘drain the swamp’), which is why Congress, the DC governing elites, much of the judiciary, big tech and many corporates, the MSM media complex and many others have all been mobilised to attack and remove Trump non-stop, and recapture the US organs of state. They have done an excellent job in convincing millions of ordinary plebs that Orange Man Bad, so dividing those they rule. While radical leftist rioters attack other ordinary Americans as racists and fascists, burn down and loot US cities (Chicago yesterday), very corrupt political elites like the Bidens and the Clintons avoid accountability and investigation, and the globalist circles of which they are part stay off the radar, rub their arrogant hands, and get on with enriching and empowering themselves by subverting US democracy and milking US workers and small businesses. Trump-haters just can’t see how their endless hate was incited and produced for them, or how that makes them such useful tools for attacking and ruining their own innocent compatriots and culture.

The only conclusion that is that U.S. federal government is thoroughly corrupt, sustained by interlocking networks of favours, kickbacks and blackmail. A headstrong, egotistical, perverse, individualist from outside the system is a risk that terrifies them.

The snout-in-the trough pack cannot tolerate an outsider who didn’t rise through the political system. Oh, he worked in the corrupt world of construction, having to rub shoulders with the mafia, bankers and local politicians, but he owes no favours at federal level.

It’s a fundamental mistake to place any trust or reliance on corporate media such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

In the first place, it has been rightly said that if you are not paying anything for what you believe to be services, you yourself are the product. Users of those “social media” sites are raw material that obligingly walks up to the conveyor belt, jumps onto it, and gets crunched up for the profit of the owners (not you).

Secondly, there is very little redress against such corporations. They can make up their own rules, as long as they keep on the right side of government. That is easily done by become agents (paid or unpaid) of government.

The big “social media” corporations are the exact antithesis of the Internet and the World Wide Web. Those networks were created and offered, free of charge, to everyone in the world to communicate in any way they wish.

Unfortunately, because it is slightly inconvenient to set up one’s own Web site(s) and to keep track of other people’s, most Web users have followed the path of no resistance and become passive, clueless appendages of the corporate social media.

Off Guardian sets a shining example of how to use the Web properly.

what you tube did was get people addicted content creators by offering huge financial incentives big-money same with facebook they left there jobs and could live very nicely on this new way of life of making videos and being famous in virtual world and slowly it started changing
then the content creator the real one worked out shit my lively hood at stake and well many went into politricks back in 2014/5//6 and donations started coming in and then they had donation and patreon income as well as selling mugs t shirt and other shit pushing political type agendas or spiritual type agendas
so you tube stopped monetizing the videos people had donations and patreon and then it was easy to see who is controlled or deceptive.
fundamentally many through school Disney holeywood and reality tv shows of the 90’s 2000 got the youtuber era addicted to wanting to be famous.
youtube facebook etc showed me how disgusting and what length people would go to get a fan-base which most of the time is lies as until very recently you can still buy software to boost number viewers figures.

Big tech can make up their own rules ‘As long as they keep on the right side of government’. You must mean the DC elite or swamp and the many Congressmen and government agencies it has in its pockets, not the Trump administration. Orange Man Bad has been trying to make social media accountable for their censorship, don’t forget, but his executive order to make them liable for this and for biased content is being stymied by regulatory authorities. Congress, of course, does next to nothing. Also remember that the big social media all hate and seek to censor Trump and his working class supporters, never his elite critics nor those inciting violence against them. Twatter famously censored the US president simply for warning BLM protestors that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts”. But they don’t censor obvious death threats by Iranian Mullahs or groups planning yet more violence in US cities.

Trump has imposed way more sanctions and other punitive measures on Russia than the Obama administration did. Right now the planned Russian gas pipeline deal to Germany is being blocked, as the US fears this will make much of Europe dangerously energy-dependent on Moscow. Despite all this, Russian authorities know that Trump doesn’t fear or demonise them like the MSM and western governments usually do, and that both nations face more serious threats in common, such as the supremacist Islamism now controlling most of the Middle East, and the supremacist, militaristic ambitions of communist China. And they know that Trump likes making deals, not wars.
