Germans find it puzzling why Americans love the British accent. Apart from them, no one else in the world does. I don’t like British English at all: it either sounds stilted (i.e., pseudo-aristocratic) or plebeian. Quite apart from the fact that I don’t like snobbish Brits on principle, but that’s another matter.
Interestingly, in Germany it’s exactly the opposite: artificial High German considers natural Low German to be inferior and provincial.

I’m trying to dig deeper and explore the background of such institutions and installations. Are there any cultural-anthroposophical books or articles on this topic or relevant reflections? Which English-language works or authors have dealt or deal exactly with this?

It might help to be flexible about the internet as with life in general. There can be more than one world. I know that’s easy for me to say; for most of my life there was no such thing as internet. I was making the same comment a few days ago with a friend. You do not need speed cameras anymore nowadays, when google has been collecting the geolocation (and related speed) of all the smartphones travellibg in cars and with location activated.

Whether location is permitted does not mean anything. A phone constntly sends out and receives unexplained signals, even when switched off, unless in a faraday cage. In “emergencies”, police can turn on the specific mike or camera. Ask the experts.
