Killing Unknown
Hiroyuki Hamada
It’s hard to talk about the myriad issues piled in our society in a cohesive way, and when we try, we often get the same response: “What is your solution?” People get frustrated and demand an instant solution to the structural problem they are very much a part of.
The very insistence on a single, cure-for-all-answer betrays their unwillingness to see the structural and systematic nature of the problem. Meanwhile they allow themselves “solutions” which are concocted by those who have created the problems.
Those “solutions” are bound to be strictly incremental and reformist, otherwise the self-serving nature of the overall trajectory becomes blatantly obvious.
Confrontation with the flaws of the “solutions” triggers an emotional response: A clear indication that the criticism points to the obvious flaws of the system itself, which in turn resonates as a criticism against the self. The emotional burst and the denial to recognize the system for what it is are indications of pathological adhesion to abusive power.
This is the condition that forces many American people to prop up the capitalist hierarchy and continue to prove their allegiance to it.
The real solution must involve a structural change. The feudal hierarchy which structurally imposes extortion schemes of money and violence on people by domesticating their humanity, to be harvested over and over within the capitalist framework, is inhumane and destructive to our species. Such an idea must not be brushed aside as untenable idealism if we are to live harmoniously with one another and with our environment.
Capitalist Cage
In the vastness of space and unimaginable span of geological time, our presence is small: smaller than a spec of dust on a whole planet. As conscious beings, we have created narratives and theories to explain what it means to be in this mysterious sea of matter and time.
Such ideas are central to our social organization as well as how we relate ourselves to it. They very much affect how we perceive things as individuals and as collectives. Those ideas can take the shape of religion, history, ideology, tradition, myth and so on, constituting parts of the individual psyche as well as the collective psyche.
Those ideas are supposed to be promoted and perpetuated by the community members because they serve them by validating the given social order which serves their best interests. They are supposed to give us ways to reconcile with the unknown in collective manners, by which we find ways to accept the mystery of life with reverence and awe.
But do they?
As we are born into the social order, where those ideas are reinforced and physically manifest as social framework, we internalize those ideas, we become a part of the social mechanism and the ideas become “reality”.
But strictly speaking this “reality” is somewhat different from what is inherently real in a material sense. What we perceive as “reality” is our interpretation of matter which has been shaped by the imperatives of the social order.
For example, in a capitalist society, a fact can deviate from material reality because an institution which specializes in the fact is influenced by the interests of the ruling class. For example, industrial waste material can be dumped as a harmless substance. The effect of the lie increases progressively against the oppressed people since the profits are made with the expense of those who are exploited and subjugated by the lie.
People suffer from the erroneous information but to different degrees. Those who suffer the most are subjected to the most strict measures, while those who exploit and subjugate can change the measures according to their needs while being well equipped to face material hardships.
Social institutions under capitalism always have the risk of failing since experts’ opinions are necessary to understand a complicated fact. People with bigger platforms can simply dominate the fact because people don’t have the time and resources to examine the fact. A louder opinion can simply get its way.
The economic hierarchy ensures that those who have dire interests in getting the fact right can not get it right.
Now, this mechanism also works vertically. Different institutions are affected differently by the false fact. A fact twisted by the special interests creates conflicts among institutions. This creates conflicts among the people. However, the degree of the divisions get narrower and narrower as it gets closer to the level of the ruling class, where the lie can create broader benefits to the already wealthy and powerful people as they have the ability to access all moneyed institutions in creating “reality” that serves them.
Dangerous policy, dangerous substance, dangerous practice and so on affect those who do not have the means to avoid them, while they can be part of enacting lucrative business schemes for the ruling class. We are put against each other in artificially scarce material conditions where we compete and form hierarchy based on the imperatives imposed by the capitalist framework, instead of according to the material facts.
A few major things happen from the lie.
First, the ruling class succeeds in profiting from the exploitation and subjugation and/or succeeds in preserving the capitalist hierarchy. Second, the lie creates divisions among the oppressed. Third, the lie requires more lies to cover it up, depriving people’s ability to relate to themselves, to each other and to nature according to material reality.
The dynamic repeats itself in many ways, creating a false reality in which misinformation, disinformation and propaganda merge with facts as institutions are manipulated to serve the interests of the ruling class while the rest of the people are divided, confused and disempowered. The Founding Fathers of the US probably knew this mechanism very well when they installed “separation of powers” within the US government. The separation would effectively institutionalize the mechanism, ensuring that the interests of the people are checked and balanced by the ruling class which can have access to all branches of the government.
Moneyed social institutions as well as some “dissidents” and “community activists” can function as a crucial part of the capitalist hierarchy, maintaining and perpetuating the system regardless of their intentions.
First, those who neglect to reveal the aims of the ruling class by solely pointing out criminal acts and refusing to recognize the mechanism of exploitation distract the people from what is really happening. Second, those who refuse to see the structural mechanism of exploitation within the capitalist hierarchy can end up protecting their own positions at the expense of the people at the bottom while serving the ruling class. Third, those who fail to recognize the lies or actively repeat them help facts to be subordinated to the capitalist framework while destroying the credibility and integrity of the social institutions, leading to destabilization of social relations—making us more susceptible to lies and manipulations.
The paralyzed state can be utilized in further privatizing the institutions, resulting in more extensive domestication of humanity and nature.
These are only a few examples of how seemingly constructive social dynamics within the capitalist hierarchy can function to prop up the capitalist hierarchy. The risk of people truly recognizing the nature of the capitalist hierarchy, armed with experts and unity, is real as we observe instances of socialist revolutions across the globe.
Capitalist institutions carefully accommodate those people who do not pose fundamental threats to the capitalist framework in maintaining the social structure that serves them.
Parasitic Tendency of Capitalism
Some may wonder, if the system is so fascistic and draconian, why it would allow “dissidents” to play a role in the social structure at all. It is because an authoritarian structure with commands, decrees, and rigid rules and their punitive consequences can not cultivate active social relations to prop itself up. Human minds can not free the potential of creativity to do so under such conditions.
Just enough freedom to move within the cage is necessary for the capitalist hierarchy.
Also, without allowing some degree of “freedom” within its framework, some people might establish communities with a true sense of freedom within the social structure, which can pose a threat to the system. For this reason, the illusion of safety and freedom are allowed within the capitalist framework. Within this environment, people engage in creative activities, the exchange of ideas and products, and the rest of the daily routines.
These activities are guided by moneyed social institutions ensuring that the boundaries are set to perpetuate the capitalist framework. Governmental organizations, media, culture organizations, NGOs and so on play significant roles in ensuring that the subject population are domesticated within the framework.
Those organizations’ roles center on a moment by moment maintenance of the capitalist hierarchy. But they also curate acceptable “crises” within the structure in order to shift the direction of exploitation and subjugation in combatting unavoidable cyclical economic downturns (they are structurally unavoidable), and to continue deepening their colonization of humanity and nature. A country defying the capitalist hegemony might be called “a deadly threat to humanity” before bombs rain on its people.
Population growth in certain countries might be termed “population bomb” before an assortment of colonial measures are implemented against them. The issues that generate profits and help augment the capitalist framework are ignored, or normalized no matter how enormous they are—cancer epidemic, drug epidemic, mass incarceration and so on and so forth, until the momentum to fight them becomes useful in perpetuating the capitalist hierarchy.
However, despite the efforts by the ruling class to construct the invisible prison for all, our creative energy can occasionally escape the artificial boundaries set by the capitalist domination. And some individuals could manage to garner the support of a broader population. However, they would be smeared by media, be attacked by various social institutions, or even be killed by government agencies.
The element of fear is crucial in preventing our creative energy from going beyond the capitalist cage.
Fear of unknown must have been an essential perception of ours from the beginning of our species. Our efforts in understanding ourselves and our surroundings stem from it. Our sense of reverence toward nature, spirituality and so on stems from its mystery and unimaginable depth. The momentum to dominate by accumulation of wealth confronts fear of the unknown with its brute force.
When capitalists destroy a pristine forest filled with wild lives and their intricate system, they destroy and colonize the natural environment while stealing the fear of unknown. When capitalists destroy cultures and traditions and replace them with a capitalist market, they destroy what they can’t steal in order to play God of Money.
Cultivation of fear
A protection racket scheme works the best when the service provider appears to be capable of inflicting the very violence that you wish to avoid. 9/11 is an embodiment of such a shady marketing strategy.
We are told what happened. We are told to think accordingly. But there are obvious inconsistencies— the failure of the Air Force to intercept the hijacked airplanes, suspicious lack of actions against the suspected hijackers prior to the attack by intelligence agencies, numerous testimonies indicating the presence of explosives in the 9/11 buildings, circumstantial evidence indicating that an event like 9/11 was necessary to embark on a series of colonial wars against the Middle East while curtailing the civil and legal rights of the people and so on.
The authority itself doesn’t deny those points, as if to say “what are you gonna do about it?” And we are told “you are either with us, or against us”.
9/11 has become the go-to justification for colonialism, corporatism and militarism for the empire. Countries that defy the western capitalist hegemony have been destroyed. People who defy it have been ridiculed, excluded, jailed or killed.
The obvious inconsistencies of the state policies simply turn into fear, which in turn strengthens the sale of the imperial protection racket. After all, the empire is armed with the sheer might of 800 military bases across the globe and numerous WMDs.
The absolute power of violence that defeats logic and humanity is the manifestation of wealth and power, which are the essence of the US empire: a feudal hierarchy, inflicting countless structural extortions against its people 24/7.
There are many other examples of such events throughout the history of the US empire, which cultivate unspeakable fear among the people while giving the authority blank checks to impose repressive measures. The assassination of a prominent figure can be such an event. These and other events are always augmented by disclosures by intelligence agencies confirming that such events can actually take place.
These events continue to prevent the subject population from questioning their leap of faith into the destructive system—again, capitalism colonizes our fear of unknown as it establishes itself as God of Money.
Covid-19
It stands to reason that measures appropriate to the risk of the virus should be taken as legitimate medical precautions, just as occasional school closures during a flu season, basic sanitary precautions to avoid getting sick, the protection of vulnerable people, and so on can be considered necessary.
But an obvious restructuring of a society in ways which would inflict repressive measures of censorship, banning of free assembly, destruction of communities, restriction of human rights, and creation of lucrative business opportunities for the ruling class should raise serious questions. Especially, as the “new virus” has turned out to be not so new according to scientists, and it also turns out to be not so deadly.
As we undergo Covid-19 lockdown measures, the rich and powerful are showered with bailouts, economic opportunities, political decisions to be “rescued”, making billions and billions, while the rest of us endure neoliberal restructuring—losing wages, losing workers’ rights, losing legal rights and losing human rights.
The momentum for the Covid measures has been pushed through our society with the same momentum of a protection racket scheme. Just as 9/11 or JFK’s assassination have left numerous undeniable evidence indicating that the events are pivotal in forwarding economic projects, the Covid panic situates itself within the context of a web of financial interests.
Misinformation and disinformation and crucial evidence indicating conflicts of interests on the part of large international institutions with strong corporate and military ties – the World Economic Forum, WHO, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, various prominent NGOs, government agencies, and giant corporate entities – signal to the people that this requires unconditional compliance.
Under such circumstances, facts about the virus, inconsistencies, and the rest of the questions become fuel for doubt. The doubt opens the door for the possibility that those who claim to protect you are in fact the perpetrators of the pain and suffering. The people face a catastrophic crisis of their identity: they face a major cognitive dissonance.
No amount of facts would convert their positions. In fact, the more they know, the more they become afraid and adamant in sticking to the state-sanctioned Covid rituals.
Germaphobia
Obsessive compulsive behavior manifests to gain a sense of control. It forces physically healthy individuals to engage in ritual cleansing of their body parts and their surroundings, so much so that their actions interfere with their daily lives. The action is purely psychological and ritualistic.
Germaphobes are not rational, sanitary or healthy. Just as dirty masks are worn over and over. Just as people wear masks on streets, and immediately take them off as soon as they sit down to eat at an enclosed restaurant.
Logic and reason don’t matter for those who engage in rituals of cleansing in order to escape from facing the ultimate truth about the system and their own positions in it.
The ritual behaviors are stipulated by the system — social distancing, wearing masks, no assembly. Obedience and complacency are enforced even if the measures might not be effective in reducing the risk of virus and the detrimental effects of the measures can surpass the supposed lethality of the virus.
As their behaviors become habitual in the daily repetitions, the accompanying slogans sink into the psyche of the population. The fear of abuse and pain are pushed under their consciousness as they engage in the rituals. Images of black people getting shot by police officers, whistleblowers mercilessly thrown in prisons, and so on fade as they make sure that their masks are on their faces.
Capitalism preys on the most vulnerable people as the subject population upholds the deadly tendency to protect their own positions in it. Seemingly bright people suddenly acquire a mental block and fail to see the structural mechanism of economic extortion and exclusion as soon as the system turns to them and whispers “what can you do about it?”.
Yet, the very presence of the capitalist hierarchy becomes visible as the population shamelessly goes along with flimsy official narratives: “WMDs in Iraq is the biggest threat against humanity”, “inner-city minority kids are super predators who need to be brought to heel” , “the Russians are coming”, or “a deadly plague is here”.
Why not? After all, people seem to believe that a country founded by slave owning colonizers with 800 military bases across the globe, which, killing, raping and stealing in a culture of domination, is actually a defender of freedom. The fear of the God of Money is in full motion.
Meanwhile, those who refuse to conform are excluded and shamed. The dynamic is actively encouraged to stay within the corporate political framework, invigorating the illusion of “democracy” dominated by two US imperial political parties. Narratives are prepared by the party establishments. Positions are stipulated. If you are for this selected issue or that issue, or if you are against them, you are drawn into the mudslinging match within a state-sanctioned ring of acceptable ideas. This culminates in a ritual fight called the US Presidential election.
Seemingly smart people are cornered into cheering for a gladiator battle between two imperialists who will perpetuate the feudal hierarchy of money and violence.
Their scream urging you to vote in order to save the oppressed people is firmly in line with the colonial vestige of manifest destiny. They vote for the very government that kills people in “enemy countries”. They vote for the very government that cages children and incarcerates immigrants. They vote for the government that locks up people who haven’t committed crimes. They vote for the government that kills people for the color of their skin.
All those people they claim to save cannot vote. They don’t have to vote because the saviors — American people — will vote to determine their fate. US corporate politics provides some of the main rituals for the God of Money.
Even those dissidents, activists and so on, who are generally insightful and aware have also contracted this condition, attacking their fellow comrades for questioning the lethality of the virus, effectiveness of mask wearing, validity of various lockdown measures and so on for the reasons already described above. However, it should also be noted that those who subscribe to various sorts of fascist ideologies actively align themselves with the restrictive measures of the state as well.
For those people, the structural consequences of the capitalist hierarchy and its deceptions do not pose any problem. The momentum of fascism is always useful in eliminating the anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist momentum in times of “crisis”.
The mechanism of conformity and compliance is in place working with a full imperial force 24/7, creating an imperial gravity that lifts those who go along with the establishment, while putting weights on those who don’t. The people are forced to form groups gathered at various levels on the hierarchy, aimed to protect their own existences along with the structural layers of the caste order.
Their own values, beliefs and norms are formed to serve themselves but they are built within the capitalist framework.
They may oppose those who are above or below but ultimately their worst enemies are those who do not conform to the hierarchy itself. Anti-capitalists and anti-imperialists are often eliminated by the authoritarian momentum within the social networks which must exist within each layer in order to float at the particular position—the imperial gravity permeates throughout the hierarchy at all times.
Pathological conditions have been cultivated among people to cope with the situation: addictive behaviors, obsessive compulsive behaviors, depression, anger, and suicidal ideation. Mental health problems among minors are skyrocketing as well. However, those are not the main concerns of the establishment.
Meanwhile, those who refuse to wear masks are openly called psychopaths, just as enslaved people who escaped were said to have a mental illness called drapetomania, or women who could not bear ruthless gender discrimination were said to have hysteria.
Meanwhile, the unconditional authoritarian hierarchy constantly turns minds under the spell of learned helplessness. Some are wrapped up in acute cynicism refusing to consider any possible alternatives. The pain of abuse and neglect force children to internalize abusiveness as a defense mechanism, forcing them to cultivate abusers in their psyche to overcome their traumas, turning them into good candidates for enforcers of pain within the capitalist hierarchy.
The God of Money destroys those who defy, while colonizing those who obey at psychological levels.
Organically grown communities that help to connect people harmoniously are forced into the framework of Covid measures to be divided, nullified and assimilated into the capitalist framework. Covid measures alienate people by removing our tools of intimacy, communication, organizing, and etc., while digitizing them into commodifiable data. Those who can afford “the new normal” within their gated communities are blessed with the time to reflect, appreciate art and nature and embrace their fantasy world of a dystopic now, at the expense of the people who are domesticated within the strict measures of structural extortion regimes. Visits to the doctor become online chats based on profit incentives.
Education becomes digital indoctrination without the intricacy of sharing and depth of creative pursuit. Small businesses which can foster community values are replaced with global corporations with imperial values. Oppressive measures continue to concentrate among those who are already oppressed. The result of lacking healthcare, weakened immunity, and prevailing health issues manifest as justifications to entangle them with more lockdown measures and financialization of their sufferings.
Capitalism: A Serial Arsonist by Night, A Brave Firefighter by Day
The head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, writes:
COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable. To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism.”
Independent researcher Cory Morningstar writes:
“Schwab refers to the COVID-19 crisis as a watershed moment for fourth industrial revolution technologies. And while people are distracted with masks and COVID-positive cases reported incessantly in order to sow anxiety and compliance, the global consolidation of power is happening in real time. In servitude to the power elite, World Economic Forum founder and CEO Klaus Schwab is advancing “a new global architecture”, upheld by a new “global governance”.

Winter Oak straightforwardly describes) Kaus Schwab’s world view as “fascistic” and describes how Covid-19 can help realize “his great fascist reset”:
21st century fascism has found different political forms through which to continue its core project of reshaping humanity to suit capitalism through blatantly authoritarian means.
This new fascism is today being advanced in the guise of global governance, biosecurity, the “New Normal”, the “New Deal for Nature” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution”.
The global capitalist ruling elite have certainly been doing their best to “take advantage of the shock inflicted by the panic”, assuring us all since the very earliest days of the outbreak that, for some unfathomable reason, nothing in our lives could ever be the same again.
Schwab and Malleret are, inevitably, enthusiastic in their use of the New Normal framing, despite their admission that the virus was only ever “mild”.
“It is our defining moment”, they crow. “Many things will change forever”. “A new world will emerge”. “The societal upheaval unleashed by COVID-19 will last for years, and possibly generations”. “Many of us are pondering when things will return to normal. The short response is: never”.
Historian Luciana Bohne, writes(14) on her facebook wall:
Ominous words from the World Bank (see beow). They say post-Covid, we’ll have a “different economy.” By “different” they mean “new businesses and sectors.” They mean “the older are being driven to bankruptcy or absorbed into monopolies.” They mean, “You are going to lose your jobs and not many of you will find them in the new sectors because you won’t have the skills.” They blame Covid, but the old economy–that they’re shutting down– well before Covid was in growth ZERO (Germany for example) and most Western-style economies were well below the minimum tolerable 3%. So, Covid didn’t kill it. They drove it to the edge, And now it’s being “restructured,” and “downsized”–it’s NEOLIBERALISM ON STEROIDS. If that is possible, and they think it is.
“In order to reverse this serious setback [Covid] to development progress and poverty reduction, countries will need to prepare for a different economy post-COVID, by allowing capital, labor, skills, and innovation to move into new businesses and sectors.”
World Bank, October 2020 Reported
In the past, we’ve seen the US government engage in destruction of communities by cornering people into destitute poverty, violence, drug epidemic, only to introduce “solutions” which gentrify, incarcerate, murder and steal. We’ve seen western governments engage in destabilization of countries by sanctions, economic embargo, propaganda campaigns and proxy wars, only to declare “so and so must go”, “so and so is killing his own people” and unleash its military might in protecting the western capitalist hegemony. The events surrounding Covid-19 illustrates a text book pattern of events within the capitalist framework in which a concerted momentum of fear, crisis and economic assaults are orchestrated in order to introduce favorable conditions for more exploitation and subjugation.
It must be strongly noted that the urgency of virus measures and their repressive aspects can augment violent strategies against “enemy” in and out of the empire, corporate green schemes against nature, commodification of digitized social relations and financialization of oppressed populations. The human costs as well as environmental costs of plunderings will be enormous. The schemes described by various independent journalists reflect how dangerous those imaginations of domination, which are devoid of material reality, can be.
The active initiatives to replace humanity and nature with an artificial-scape of algorithm, machines, and artificial intelligence are in line with the colonization of humanity and nature by capitalism. Ultimately, digitization of social relations and currency allow the capitalist establishment to put strings on people’s behaviors just as the capitalist hierarchy controls people’s behavior with economic structural extortions (I highly recommend research by Alison McDowell on it below).
People’s paths are further atomized and divided without organic social interactions within a rigid framework to be controlled, moderated, and harvested as commodified data. Here are some good materials on the topic and more. Please do look into each materials.

“Good Americans”
American people are deeply domesticated people with a grand sense of narcissism as “Americans”. The country has inflicted so much pain and suffering against the world with its colonial policies and wars, yet American people generally perceive themselves as citizens of freedom. Ironically, the more they are cornered into enduring the consequences of their own complacency, the more they cling to the fact that they are at least “Americans”. Because, as it was described above, rejecting their countryhood is a rejection of themselves—the biggest fear of all for the proud Americans.
Such a core value bursts out in the open when we see white people screaming “I’m white!” as they get beaten up by police officers. It’s not that they don’t know the nature of the stratified structure of the caste system when they insist on “diversity“ without dismantling the exploitive system of subjugation. Most of them do know it and they do know their positions in it and they want to keep it that way.
That’s why so many people buy the idea that Russians are messing with their “democracy”. It is not that they actually believe that Russians do stuff to them, but they sense the position of Russia in the imperial framework. “How dare Russians get in the way of the United States of America!”. How ironic is it that those who are going through the economic shock therapy now at the hands of those who inflicted an economic shock therapy against the Russian people after the destruction of USSR fail to see what is happening to themselves. Needless to say, imperial gravity is global. Some western proxy powers, on the other hand, are eager to comply and do extra miles in order to hold better positions in the imperial hierarchy. Neoliberal restructuring of their economies, compliance for military strategic necessities, and demonization of “enemy countries” and so on can be more prominent in those countries than the US itself.
China and Covid-19
Now, I feel compelled to discuss briefly why I think China has acted so drastically to the virus situation since this has been raised over and over to either validate western actions on the virus or to demonize the Chinese government for taking such strict measures.
First of all, it should be noted that there are drastic differences between fully for profit measures implemented by the western countries and measures implemented by China which include considerations for job security, wage compensation, viable treatment options and so on. The measures were effective in keeping the fatality at the very minimum. A recent poll shows the level of of happiness among the Chinese people to be extremely high compared to that of western countries.
China has been cornered by the imperial forces to realize what it sees as a Marxist Leninist society with a long term plan. There have been a few major lessons for China. First, industrialized western powers have attempted to colonize China multiple times. This has necessitated that China have its own industrialization through centralized planning in order to provide for its population while avoiding being exploited and subjugated by the western capitalist framework.
In order to do so, China has established its Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence: mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence. Based on this idea of non-interference, China engages in economic activities with countries that do not share such principles—which include major imperialist powers and proxies.
As a result, China has indeed expanded its economic sphere, successfully pulling countless people out of poverty, while gaining its economic power against the imperial forces. This has attracted criticism among those who see China as an anti-imperial force. “How come China is working with Israel, the US and so on in its economic projects?”, they would ask.
The answer to me is in its aim of economic development for its people as well as in its non interference policy. As a sovereign country, China is deciding its own path by weighing a particular balance between pragmatism and moving toward its goal within the world in which imperial powers are dominant.
Now, there is another angle we must pay attention to. The introduction of its market economy for China has been another necessity to avoid destruction of its economy, as well as its nationhood, by development of the black market as well as infiltration by the western colonial interests. By allowing free market activities under the framework of the CPC, China ensures its emerging billionaires to follow Chinese agendas instead of the Western imperial framework.
This background helps us to understand China’s very active position in Covid-19 measures. If indeed what the global economic powers term as the 4th industrial revolution is a determining factor for their future economic powers, not having a stake in it puts China in a secondary position to the Western imperial hegemony. The Covid situation needs to be seen in this dynamic of the economic struggle between the imperialist forces and the rest of the world since it is an introduction to the 4th industrial revolution in many regards.
China simply sees the medical measures against the virus as well as the 4th industrial revolution as a part of the economic phenomenon that needs to be under the guidance of the CPC. This might be hard to swallow for those who recognize the grave danger of further digitizing our social relations under the corporate framework, as well as its financialization and its associated assortments of exploitation and subjugation. This is understandable but such a judgement should not be made according to the western capitalist history and its contexts.
This point has been fully utilized by the western establishment in erroneously labeling China as leading online censorship and repressive measures associated with new technologies. For one thing, regulations against western political infiltration can not be equated to “censorship” or “human rights abuse” when we look at the history of the western colonial destabilization schemes against subject countries. The Chinese government gets more support from its own people than most western governments do for good reasons. The income inequality as well as the poverty rate is lower in China than the US now.
Meanwhile, reality shows us that it has been the US police that kills three people on average everyday, and it is the US government interfering with human rights, imposing mass incarceration, violent police forces, institutional discrimination of various sorts, deprivation of social safety nets, and global surveillance and so on against the people.
Credit score, racial demography, and tools of oppression have been used to perpetuate exploitation and subjugation in the US for so long.
It just doesn’t make sense to target China when the US is clearly the leading force of exploitation globally, and China to the empire is the biggest obstacle in its path today.
And let’s say that the 4th Industrial Revolution is detrimental to the people in the west. Would it make sense to demonize China and demand that it stop developing AI technology, online capabilities and so on? Isn’t it like destroying all nuclear weapons of Russia and China during the Cold War?
China has its own problems stemming from its introduction of the market economy, environmental issues and so on. Although the structural issues have emerged from reactions against the imperial forces, needless to say, allowing imperial forces to “solve” them totally defeats the purpose. Those problems are not the white man’s burden to be solved by the west. China has its own ways of solving them and it is simply not the business of the imperial west to decide the fate of the Chinese people.
Last but not the least, the imperial forces, including the pre-WW2 imperial Japan, have engaged in bio attacks against China, Korea, Cuba and so on. The US military possesses numerous bio-weapon facilities across the globe). The preparedness against such attacks is another determining factor in overcoming western imperialism as it is a deterrence against an imperial bio-attack.
This matter is particularly urgent when the western media, government agencies, corporate entities, NGOs and other political, economic and military forces of the West have been orchestrating various destabilizing projects against China – Uyghur region, Hong Kong and blatant lies regarding the Tiananmen Square event to name a few. The empire has been colonizing and co-opting those who defy, and when it fails, it has mercilessly destroyed them.
Understanding these dynamics between China as well as its allies and the Western capitalist hegemony should be a positive step toward our harmonious existence.
Lastly, I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to all of you who stand where imperial gravity is strong. Thank you. Uncovering facts buried in the sea of capitalist propaganda and discerning dynamics rooted in our genuine circumstances and its historical context is important. The last paragraph is written with a Chinese accent. Quite a balanced aware article about the viciousness of western elites& their great tech re-set. Yet Chinese elite are the same breed as ours~ that have caused similar chaos in a generation of mal-adjusted children whose parents were absent working and there aren’t enough women to go round after the 1-child policy. China relies on domestic harmony, yet that is soon to change
What a pile of communist crap.
Good article but I have a compliant. Please do not promote Right-Left divide while claiming to bridge divisions. The coming global governance will be beyond Right-Left as it will be a horrible mixture of fascism, communism and technocracy and affect us all. There is no point exposing Trump when you praise China which is also part of the agenda.
What a pile of utter garbage. Not worthy of publication.

Here, in a thumbnail, is how the “cognitive dissonance” looks. On the one hand, the late 19th and early 20th centuries saw a sharp rise of Sinophobia in the US and Europe; these were the years of the so-called “Yellow Peril” hysteria :
China was already treated as an Existential threat to Judeo-Christian Hegemony (and White Christian Womanhood). On the other hand:
The domestic moods and policies of nation-states are always entirely separable from the goals of the Hidden Hands. China may have been producing steel 1,000 years after the supposed “birth of Christ”… but there were no Chinese Maxwells and Faradays working in a connected system of post-Enlightenment tinkerers, in the 17-19th centuries, busy inventing Domesticated Electrical energy on an industrial scale.
Does that, logically, sound like the profile of a Super Power (and “global threat to Western Hegemony”) to you? Their books are as cooked as the USSR’s were during the Cold War. They have benefited enormousaly from “Western technology” despite (head-scratchingly) “Supreme Enemy” status.
As I commented below:
Not “surprised” by the rapid growth of China, merely pointing out that it was impossible without “western” help. China is not 40 years into their first “Industrial Revolution”… how do they even have air travel beyond hot air balloons, kites and gliders? Like everything else: it’s staring us right in the face. China has been built up as an Artificial Enemy (like the USSR) because “Western Psycho-Capitalism,” as we know it, thrives on Orwellian Othering and Demonization. The “Hour of Hate” (even better than Xmas) is a year-long extravaganza.
There is only one Global Super Power… and one Existential Threat to us all: TFIC.
I assure you the invention of the word “enormousaly” was contingent only on the close proximity of two letters on the keyboard…
Sorry, off-topic, but does anyone know what happened to the Dutch medic who used to regularly post here? Very interesting he was too. Did he announce that he wasn’t going to post any more?
If you happen to be reading, and recognise your description, do please put your virtual hand up. Sorry that I can’t remember your “handle”! 🙂
After a bit of digging back, I’ve realised that his name (or the name used here) is Willem.
Yeah, I remember that commenter. He was interesting, and often made a lot of sense,
but then suddenly started talking about “misogyny” as being at the root of our current
problems; I took firm exception to that notion. Not long after that he left in a harrumph.
Odd..
Now there’s another commented who fits a similar profile, but has replaced “misogyny” with “xenophobia and racism”. Hard to tell what’s what these days, Mmm.
Strange article and confused comment section.
On the one hand they rebel against masks, lock downs and the covid scam?
Then in the same breath they bash capitalism and Trump yet Trump is one of the only world leaders who wants to open up the economy and get things back to normal and calls out the fear mongering leftists.
Yet it’s the Leftist socialist commie governments they praise here or don’t mention in a negative way that want you locked down with masks dependent on the government for handouts?
Make up your mind or you’ll end up like Joe Biden or TDS.
Too many CCP trolls have hijacked this place.
Its really quite simple. OffGuardian has never (once in the 4 years I’ve been following) criticized Donald Trump. It has attacked everybody : socialists, anarchists, republicans (not aligned to trump) , environmentalists, scientists, john pilger, chomsky, graeber or anyone you can think of who has ‘left’ opinion. But not trump and not china. Never. Its good to give credit where its due (china deserves credit) its good also to challenge the US state and capitalism (obviously). Whats less obvious is why its impossible for a single OffGuardian writer to challenge china or Trump (despite 100% +/- 2%) of all articles ultimately attacking american politics! Weird right? All of america and china , years of culture and politics – all worthy of critisism – but not one bad word about the most vile pro capitalists ever to grace this earth? China is about as anti capitalist as trump ( a good pair of inverted propagandists)
You are quite wrong. We have many pieces critical of Trump. That’s sort of a given. True, this site doesn’t tend to mindlessly pelt tomatoes at Trump along with the controlled ‘left-wing’ media because, at least in this mod’s view, this is buying into an intelligence-erected sideshow. It is not all that relevant if you’re trying to shift focus onto those truly in power on the global stage – the global plutocratic interests who, given Russiagate et al, clearly wish to use Trump as a shield, a scapegoat and a distraction. I think he has far less actual power than people realise and is largely a token figure.
Must have missed those, but I’ll accpt Trump is attacked enough with tomatoes, yet rarely in an interesting or serious way – just tabloid headlines that bare little resemblence to the realities of his business scams and friendships with the clintons and democrats . Leaving that asside can you point to an article critical of china or russia. The criticism of them is less obvious. Even when the MSM critisise them its a just general racism without much substance BUT therees a fuck load of stuff the public needs to be aware of about these countries that can’t be brushed aside anymore than legitimate and important criticism of Biden can be brushed aside. A journalist should be attacking everyone in power, because they are all fuckwits, it should not pick sides and give easy rides, it missleads the public and creates a binary narrative the MSM are happy to let you do.
Critique of the USA: spot-on. The apologia for China: nonsense. The War is between All Gov and All Serfs. China Gov is just as complicit as America Gov and Euro Gov and Eng Gov: they all belong to an interlocking system. This geopolitical “enemy of my enemy is my friend” fallacy needs to be interrogated and debunked, finally. TFIC use the “enemy” dynamic, between population-teams, to control both teams… be it White vs Color, Liberal vs Conservative, Female vs Male, Liberal vs Deplorable, Old vs Young, West vs China/Russia, JudeoChrister vs Muslim, Het vs Homo, Beatles vs Stones, Yankees vs Dodgers, Manchester United vs Chelsea, Quisp vs Quake (inside joke)…
If China and “The West” are really in opposition, where did China get “Western” tech*? How is it that uni students from China have studied tech in the US/UK/Germany for decades? Bizarre arrangement if the “two superpowers” are locked in a global battle, no? They aren’t. However, remember: KAYFABE.
*”Western tech” as we know it derives, inadvertently, from the socioeconomic oddity of the Gentleman Scientists/ Tinkerers of the post-Enlightenment. The discovery and exploitation of harness-able electrical energy (nod to Maxwell and Faraday, among others) could not have been foreseen nor foreseen as useful in a Hegemonic way. An accident but there you have it. Why aren’t satellites, stealth bombers, nuclear weapons and the Internet itself confined to a NATO monopoly? Because the disseminated tech maintains a sort of inter-connectivity and “balance of power” that ties up the planet in neatly competitive dichotomies facilitating Global Control a lot more profitably than if NATO were merely bombing the entire rest of the planet, 24/7, with superior tech. But it might just as easily have been that way. China might just as easily been relegated to using 19th century tech in 2020 (especially if NATO had been bombing them year in and year out). Consider this Google-generated paragraph and all of its implications (emphatic italics mine):
Ha ha. Ooops. Try again:
“China’s industrial revolution, which started 35 years ago, is perhaps one of the most important economic and geopolitical phenomena since the original Industrial Revolution 250 years ago. … China’s rapid growth has puzzled many people, including economists.”
But China’s rapid growth has not puzzled people who believe in Communism. You sound like poor old Hitler, whose economists assured him it was impossible for one country to build as many tanks as Communist Russia actually built (and in record time) to decimate his Western-Capitalist-built Wehrmach at the battle of Kursk.
My word you are a lost soul.
Pithy and informative: well-done!
This geopolitical “enemy of my enemy is my friend” fallacy needs to be interrogated and debunked.
Yep. Nothing beholds this line as so infallibly true as Off Guardian.
And btw, yeah, (mostly) great article,
All of the “isms” and “ews” blamed below are a 3 card Monty game designed to distract and factionalize. It’s work to dig in, but try reading through “Empire” by kevkrugh. You might find it a better description of TFIC. It will break you out of factions and guide you through an understanding of the nature of the who’s and how’s of real power in the world. And maybe even stop some of the bickering in the understanding to be had from a grasp of it’s premise about the true nature of power and how we got here. Just a suggestion. It’s not like you ain’t got time on your hands, lol. Cheers!
I’m reminded of the 2010 Rockefeller lockstep document. China with it’s totalitarian system stopped the imaginary pandemic and was the most effective government. China is the UN’s darling. The UN was created by the world’s biggest capitalists. They moved their money over there and moved factories and oh dear, all the jobs too. It’s not surprising that the capitalists best invention was socialism, what better way of funnelling the money straight to the bankers with no competition in the way. Would the US, with Faucci in charge, send it’s latest bio weapon to Wuhan for development if they weren’t on the same side?
A superb, if less than ideally organized, article. Reading about the way Americans think of themselves relative to their capitalist masters, I was reminded of some of my religious neighbors.
One gentleman in particular comes to mind. When he moved in, he ambulated as freely as anyone else. Now, a year later, he can barely hobble his way up to his third floor condo. Yet whenever I ask how he’s doing, his response has not changed: “I’m blessed,” he says.
Holy shiate! If that’s what being “blessed” looks like, I’d hate to see what being “cursed” is all about!
Ditto the rest of us Americans. If this is what being “blessed” with capitalism looks like….
“Holy shiate! If that’s what being “blessed” looks like, I’d hate to see what being “cursed” is all about!”
Spit my tea… I mean, my Pepsi... out laughing. Also: who the fuck down-votes this kind of comment? Blesséd cripples?
A whole cottage industry has built up to explain that bad things happening to good people is the ultimate sign of “God’s” benevolence. Get it? No, neither do I!
Well, it’s my understanding of Christo-Physics that when Believers are fucked up by The Lord (variable represented by S, for “suffering), it tests their Faith, F (which equals the inverse of their intelligence, i) (times) duration of the suffering (D) = SH (magnitude of Sainthood). Or something like that…
It’s tempting (paraphrasing HRH the Duke of Edinburgh) to wish to reincarnate as a lethal pathogen which attacks only people with a personal yearly income of over $1,000,000…
Of course such pathogens are not self-aware, so the satisfaction would not be worth the backward step in evolution, but, as I said, it’s tempting…
Hardly likely in The UK, because most people as bizarre as it may seem, actually have affection for The Royal Family, and merely intensely dislike the Politicans. They don’t want to kill them. They don’t think they are the problem, and haven’t got any weapons to do so anyway.
The situation in The USA may be somewhat different. They are armed up to the eyeballs, with far more guns than population. Whilst the propaganda has resulted in most Americans supporting their armed forces, I suspect whilst they might like their celebrities, they intensely do dislike some of their politicians to the point of hatred.
I have also noticed that with regards to information access, The US is a wide open society, with no real pretence at privacy laws. Even with basic computing skills, it was possible to find all kinds of details of US citizens for free completely legally, even before the vast majority of them put their entire lives up on Facebook.
I have no idea what is going to happen next, and I do still have close family living in The USA. Their kids were born there. They are going to stay. The rest of my family with children born in the USA, saw the writing on the wall, and were completely horrified. They first moved to Germany, and are now back in The UK.
We occasionally meet at weddings, funerals, and special birthdays.
Well, we did.

Ach, the irony! Laugh
PS The trick to moving to Germany (Berlin, specifically) is making it through the first five years. The German psychology can drive non-Germans nuts, but, come on… Berlin is just worth it. You grit your teeth, get through the first five years and cultivate your Expat Support System. Things are a wee bit less draconian in Berlin for the simple reason that they’re still living down ALL THAT (from the 1930s etc). The “tolerance” of the city can be barometered by how cops deal with the homeless and beggars, who, generally, get to camp out unmolested in front, even, of snooty shops/restaurants. Canaries in the coalmine. Even as an Asshole of Color, I’m lots less nervous around Berlin cops than I am around any cops in the US. And London is shit, now, isn’t it? Not like it was during the Second Summer of Love (1990) at all*.
*I remember both the Poll Tax Riots (Battle of Trafalgar Square) and Guru Josh fondly…
I saw homeless people sleeping in a passageway in a Berlin Metro station a couple of years ago. I asked a friend why the police or U-Bahn staff don’t move them along. I was told they did and then one of them died of exposure, so they just let people camp out there following the outcry.
Aah, yes. Prince Philip. The parasite who wanted to come back as a virus. ;o)
They are a very weird family (and almost enough to give credit to Icke’s lizard theory). His eldest son wanted to reincarnate as a tampon, I seem to remember.
There has been many an advertisement in the past from the NHS about the selfless act off taking the flu vaccine to protect oneself and others.
Anyone want to take bets on the likelihood of GSK putting out an advertisement, at sometime in the future along the lines off:
I suggest we skip the white feather-driven carnage and head straight into the hedonism

I have to admit, I did find this hilarious, but it is pretty sad really.
Tony
This is no laughing matter.
The directives of the Fun Police/ Thought Police/ Board of deputies must be taken seriously at all times.
I find even the most well-meaning discussions of ‘the virus’ but also ‘capitalism’ a waste of time at this point. Let’s face it: The rug has been pulled from under us. We’re all lambs for the slaughter. THAT’S the only useful departure point I can see. By next year, many of us will be faced with a decision: A) Do I take the DNA-altering injection? or B) Do I get locked up in a concentration camp? OR do I opt for secret option C – and if so, what is it?
Don’t tell me that in the next few months, the masses will rise up and topple the current system of exploitation, or whatever we call it. Also, I’ve read up on the End Times, and none of the scriptures tell us, “… and they lived happily ever after”.
“Lambs for the slaughter” is no “departure point” at all.
Knock yourself out, Dayne.
I’ll be somewhere else, and I won’t be quiet about it.
You do realize that comes off a bit coy, no?
Why would option C be secret? Probably a bottle of Nembutal. I prefer history over scripture and reckon we’ll be sacrificed like the 1914 boys in order to effect change. The young uns will suffer through and Brave New World will move on without us. It seems negative and I’m waiting for an option (C?) because 2001 also seemed negative and while it was in so many ways, it wasn’t a mass annihilation. But history has taught me not to trust in the uprising of the masses to join us
Will the populist, working-class left ever kick out the Marxist intellectuals and their Satanic, billionaire paymasters? Perhaps they had to SEE what Bolshevism looks like!

I will repeat the argument for you:
Will the populist, working-class left ever kick out the Marxist intellectuals and their Satanic, billionaire paymasters? . . . Or will we continue to rely on US patriots and Christian Zionists to do the job for us?
I wish the real left – the populist, working-class left – would rise up and kick out the Bolsheviks and the Satanic billionaires; but I think it’s just wishful thinking. Instead, it’s the US patriots and Christian Zionists who are doing the job; and that’s reality!
Of course, as I’ve been noting for a while now, the CCP appear to have already kicked out the Satanists; see:

BTW: you’re supposed to display a “fact-checked” warning message whenever mentioning Q. This is the one at youtube:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QAnon
QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory. It alleges that a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring and plotting against US President Donald Trump, who is battling against the cabal.

Or you could quote approved sources such as Caitlin Johnstone: “QAnon is a fake, decoy imitation of a healthy revolutionary impulse . . .”

But I’m a bit of a traditionalist:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manila_rope
Manila hemp rope was previously the favoured variety of rope used for executions by hanging, both in the U.K. and USA. Usually 3/4 to 1 inch diameter, boiled prior to use to take out any overelasticity.
asphyxiation wont kill a demon or angel as your
a traditionalist will you get off on it.
seeing someone hanged which you have not they shit and piss themselves takes 12-17 minutes depending unless you get of on that
any cover ment of mouth by anyone is retard and all you ever do is either wiki or quote trump
hand sataniser read it again
Okay, so I don’t pay more than a second’s thought to the garbage memes you post; nor to you’re incoherent streams of consciousness. If you want to explain its relevance, please go ahead.
How devilish. 🙂
It is insane how people don’t see trump the snake he is with all this funny money printing and then boasting how awesome the economy is. I try telling this to my parents and their friends who support trump, they just say, “He’s making america great.” I feel like I’m locked in a prison with zombies.
Totally agree poopy and I was a staunch Trumpster until he helped the deep state creatures with wheeling the great covid scamdemic Trojan Horse into our now completely devastated society.
The result of the totalitarian selection fraud on Nov 03 will be nothing more than a case of ‘six of one, half a dozen of the other’. Won’t matter which of the two evils: both humanity loathing, totalitarian tyrants wins. Our freedom and way of life is doomed forever only to be replaced by a permanent state of enslavement in the totalitarian fascist governed NWO, which they both welcome…
Unless by some miracle, the sleepwalking compliant, masked zombies suddenly wake up and resist. Ridiculous and now utterly pointless elections won’t make one jot of difference to what the Technocracy of the UN and the WEF has planned and is currently unfolding right before our very eyes.
Mass resistance by ALL citizens in all states and all nations, is our only hope of stopping this coup.
Perhaps it’s time you came out of that dark wood. Let’s try this:
Two dates and places:
Not the same dates and not the same places. Not even remotely.
The script was recycled from Petrograd 1917

. . . but it fizzled!
https://off-guardian.org/2020/06/06/is-the-coronavirus-scare-a-psychological-operation/#comment-187308
And still not the same dates and not the same places. Not even remotely.
2020 is not the same DATE as 1917. Washington is not the same PLACE as Petrograd. I think we all understand that. If you have some POINT you want to make, please go ahead.
That what is happening today is not “Bolshevism”. That expression is as irrelevant now as “Catharism” or “Viking invasion”.
Okay, so that’s the first time I’ve heard the argument that Bolshevism was limited to a specific time and place; and I doubt I’ll ever hear it again.
Welcome to history.
The first three paragraphs tell it all: >
“It’s hard to talk about the myriad issues piled in our society in a cohesive way, and when we try, we often get the same response: “What is your solution?” People get frustrated and demand an instant solution to the structural problem they are very much a part of.
The very insistence on a single, cure-for-all-answer betrays their unwillingness to see the structural and systematic nature of the problem. Meanwhile they allow themselves “solutions” which are concocted by those who have created the problems.
Those “solutions” are bound to be strictly incremental and reformist, otherwise the self-serving nature of the overall trajectory becomes blatantly obvious.”
As long as civilians support the existence of corporations and corporate rule, all civil situations will continue to deteriorate. It’s not that complicated…
“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil,
but by those who watch them without doing anything.”
– Albert Einstein –
There is nothing wrong with the existence of small companies, that grow and become bigger, providing there is competition and choice, and providing they don’t achieve a monopoly position (such as Microsoft) and effectively destroy the competition, and then use their power to control both Governments, and Populations – because that is where we are Now. The corruption is completely outrageous and the products and services increasingly useless.
Monopoly Control is essentialy Fascism (under Private Control) or Communism (under Government Control). The end result is Totalitarian Dictatorship, where there is no real choice, and which also usually results in Mass Genocide and War.
Large companies such as Microsoft, should have been dismemerbered by Government and broken up, into independent competing companies, long before they got as big as they are.
Governments alone are pretty useless at providing decent products or services themselves. One of their primary roles should be to enforce regulation across the spectrum including how companies operate, to ensure they build qulaity products designed to last, and to ensure they do not pollute the environment
At the moment nearly everything gets trashed, because it is designed to fail just after the gurantee expires, such that you have to buy another one,. The only reason that this happens is to maintain company profits. Most stuff can be built to last. It was 50 years ago. I’ve still got some of it.
Almost nothing I have bought in the last 10 years still works after 5 years. It is now polluting trash in landfill, or has been incinerated polluting the air.
Tony
Planned obsolescence; most of our “white goods” have started failing after about 10 years, plus some double-glazing.
On the other hand, a hand-built (push)-bike I’ve had for about 25+ years is still going strong. (Why there is sadly not much money to be made in making decent bikes).
Tony: You stated: “Governments alone are pretty useless at providing decent products or services themselves. One of their primary roles should be to enforce regulation across the spectrum including how companies operate, to ensure they build qulaity products designed to last, and to ensure they do not pollute the environment.”
Like many others, you have the picture upside down. Government is ruled by the people. Not the people are ruled by government. The introduction of the upside down belief system is what George Orwell was attempting to expose.
Governmental powers should be limited to the prosecution of criminal offences committed against the people, period.
“Regulatory” powers inherently exist within the market place. If the product is crap, don’t buy it…
Governmental powers should be limited to the prosecution of criminal offences committed against the people, period.
Can you give examples because the only offenses against the people I can think of were committed by the State.
Hello Grace Johns: That’s a good question, so I had to think about it for a minute. There are a whole range of Statute laws and Codes which are enforceable within the United States. They can be reviewed at the Cornell Law School library web site: >
U.S. Code: Table Of Contents
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text
These WRITTEN laws are enforceable toward non-state actors >
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-state_actor
also NGOs, banking and financial institutions, and all civilian and international organizations operating within US jurisdictions.
It’s up to the People to file affidavits and charges. It’s up to the People’s government to enforce prosecution for the Laws their congress signatured on their behalf…
Why would “government” break up corps they bankrolled in the first place? If people would stop relying on gubbment to fix their lives we wouldn’t be in this state.
Excellent article. Having read the comments, I have the impression that The 77th Brigade have now allocated several full time “operatives” aka trolls for this site.
You may be right. IDK about trolls but there are a lot of small minds here now, wetting on about left and right as those exist now. Whining about what the State should do. Wake up and move into a new mode. Left/Right are divides created by the Fucckers (Do not call them elite) same as Black/White.
Many, many thanks OffGuardian, I’ve been studying American bio weaponizing for years and I have never experienced an article with more substantive reporting than this. I encourage all serious readers to book mark it!
From The Guardian (decoded)
22 doctors go out on the p1ss together, not wearing masks, and not keeping their distance, because they know COVID is no worse than the flu, and the entire thing is a load of bollocks.
Someone spots them and rats on them.
Original “Doctors catch Covid after distancing rules ‘ignored’ at Surrey function
NHS trust investigates 22 junior doctors, two of whom tested positive, as police warn its staff”
It’s the Lockdown, Social Isolation and closure of most normal health service functions that is killing people, not the equivalent of a cold. It is this that is deadly serious.
I get depressed too, particularly when I see the distress of young people, at universities being locked up, in a state which they themselves say is worse than prison. Many can’t take it.
How long is this insanity going to go on? Our Governments are effectively at war with their own populations. They are not only guilty of brainwashing. They are guilty of Mass Murder.
Tony
In the current media climate “tested positive” means “died horribly (video available on request)”.
In the real world it means “probably caught a cold in the distant past and has immunity”
“22 doctors go out on the p1ss together, not wearing masks, and not keeping their distance,….”
I figured at first this was the prelude to a joke, ordinary man being serious like most on this site produces what is crudely indigestible, so a joke would be pleasant. Democracy made ordinary man loose his sense of humour, becoming an overly serious repetitive drone. I bet the ‘elites’ still have a sense of humour.
“Our Governments are effectively at war with their own populations.”
If would certainly help if a few more of the general population actually got that instead of cheering it on.
at universities being locked up, in a state which they themselves say is worse than prison. Many can’t take it.
Yes I hear this exact same whine here too, from boomers locked up in their mansions with no social events to hop on. Trust me, lockdown is not the same as prison. What y’all are afraid of – being carted off to a concentration camp – that’s prison. And most of the inmates are innocent too.
“China simply sees the medical measures against the virus as well as the 4th industrial revolution as a part of the economic phenomenon that needs to be under the guidance of the CPC. This might be hard to swallow for those who recognize the grave danger of further digitizing our social relations under the corporate framework, as well as its financialization and its associated assortments of exploitation and subjugation. This is understandable but such a judgement should not be made according to the western capitalist history and its contexts.
This point has been fully utilized by the western establishment in erroneously labeling China as leading online censorship and repressive measures associated with new technologies.”
This is a nauseating propaganda fluff piece promoting China as an idealistic alternative to Western capitalism. If truth be told, China is not Marxist or socialist but a capitalist dictatorship.
Here’s some excerpts from an insightful article giving a truer picture of China– it was not written by a right-wing pro-capitalist.
“Xi, the most powerful leader since Mao Zedong, has overseen a harsh crackdown on civil society that is aimed at squelching dissent and activism among lawyers and rights advocates. He has also used a popular and wide-ranging anti-corruption campaign to boost supervision of the party and as a powerful weapon with which to purge his political opponents.”
China’s rising militarism
“One aspect of rising fascism is the funneling of massive resources into military forces and equipment, a prelude to inter-imperialist warfare. China deployed its first ever “Made in China” aircraft carrier. In the last decade alone, it has built more than 100 warships and submarines (Asia Times, 9/10/18).
“China’s rulers are also molding an Internet “that guides public opinion, supports good governance, and fosters economic growth but also is tightly controlled so as to stymie political mobilization and prevent the flow of information that could undermine the regime.”
One hallmark of fascism is ideological control over information—or disinformation—to serve the nationalist, racist agenda of capitalist bosses in crisis. At the same time, the Internet provides unprecedented power and reach for surveillance of workers and any capitalists who aren’t with the program.
Over the last five years, Beijing has significantly tightened controls on websites and social media. In March 2017, for example, the government told Tencent, the second largest of China’s digital giants, and other Chinese technology companies to shut down websites they hosted that included discussions on history, international affairs, and the military….
Officials ordered telecommunications companies to block virtual private networks (VPNs), which are widely used by Chinese businesses, entrepreneurs, and academics to circumvent government censors….Beijing also announced new regulations further limiting online anonymity….
In an even more Orwellian move, authorities have rolled out a sophisticated surveillance system based on a vast array of cameras and sensors, aided by facial and voice recognition software and artificial intelligence. The tool has been deployed most extensively in Xinjiang Province, in an effort to track the Muslim Uighur population there, but the government is working to scale it up nationwide.”
Pick your poison.

Ludicrous, that you can even correlate China’s Citizens Rating System with securing a car loan in the West. Not getting a car loan strictly has to do with your ability to payback the loan. It has nothing to do with your political ideology or grievances against the state.
Secondly, individual grievances against the state are not tolerated. Demonstrations are immediately suppressed and protestors carried away in vans.
The grass always looks greener on the other side until you jump over the fence and get ravaged by a pitbull. 😁
to easy individual grievances against the state are not tolerated. Demonstrations are immediately suppressed and protestors carried away in vans.

When they round you up in China you probably won’t resurface, at least not for a real long time. And there won’t be MSNBC or CNN to cover your dilemma. It will all be squashed.
So Pack a bag and move to China you can become another Western YouTuber grifter. China, will welcome another Western useful idiot propagandizing on their behalf..
Though I’m grateful there is a China – and a Russia – in the world to act as a counterweight to Western (i.e., US) hegemony, I would certainly agree that there is nothing other than China’s existence itself to hold up as some kind of way out of the horror humanity has inflicted upon itself.
It is categorically inconceivable that any entity as wealthy and powerful and technologically advanced as China could ever possibly lead humanity on a better path. (But then, as a confirmed Luddite, my opinion must be taken perhaps with a grain of salt.)
Except that China is not a fascist regime, it’s Bolshevik Marxsist. “Created” in the 70’s by the Rothschild-Rockefeller axis. It’s the blueprint for the NWO. China sold it’s national soul when it agreed to the sweetheart trade deals the zionists offered. And required of them to buy all of the west and Israel technocratic instruments while China ramped up it’s trinket factories. They enjoyed 5 years of plus 10% economic growth and never below 5% for about 20 years. They were the blueprint for the NWO. Bolshevik all the way, the track record shows massive killing and destruction toward their objjectives. Fascism is not that brutal.
China is not Bolshevik or Marxist is a capitalist dictatorship with a fascist surveillance system. Do some research and don’t believe all the bullshit.
This was most excellent until the part about China…. I will ignore that part as it reads like a chinese government PR article.
As for the rest, it is spot on and – might add this: the primary question all thinking and feeling persons must consider is:
What does it mean to be human?
That’s how propaganda works–it starts off with some truth and then leads you down the path to dog poo.
https://www.sott.net/article/443240-World-Doctors-Alliance-Open-Letter-to-UK-Government-World-Governments-and-Citizens-of-the-World
Centralization of the means of production (note I didn’t say nationalization) has never worked. Nor has centralized matching of supply to demand. It remains an alluring fantasy, however, and the elite think that technology has placed it within their grasp.
Pinning the costs of that centralized system to the backs of the working class is another elite fantasy that’s been tried before. Carbon or energy-based units of consumption is the longstanding mantra of the technocrats from before the 1930s. They simply dressed it up in the rhetoric of climate change for the late C20th audience.
A carbon-based monetary system is so ludicrous it shows the Third Reich’s labour-based currency in a rather positive light. That’s another reason why its wrong to shoehorn the Great Reset into the fascist or communist camp.
People seem to keep trying to map the Great Reset to what they know: one of the C20th’s great totalitarian ideologies. Both systems were considered, novel and progressive in their time. Surely the explicit claim of the Rockefeller/WEF/British-Dutch-Royals-Rothschild crowd is that they’re building something new.
I’m not sure they’d mind if half the masses insist it’s communism and the other half cry that it’s fascism. That just replicates the reds and the blues and keeps the masses busy demonizing each other.
A better question is are the technocrats fit for the job? On the evidence so far, they massively overestimate their competence and their intelligence. Will they try? Certainly. Do they have the technology? It’s not fully ready but they’ll try to impose it. Will it work?
If it works, the Great Reset will go off more or less peacefully. When it runs into the buffers, the gloves will come off. At the very least, the elite will want to save their own skins. They will use every method of force and distraction, including terrorism, biochemicals and war.
was the stereo intentional?
1984 didn’t rely on a particularly techno society.
Does it matter to the enslaved if their chains are made of iron or steel?
Wasn’t power just for the sake of power in 1984? As in H.G. Wells’s The Shape of Things to Come, it was post-apocalyptic (the sub text is that people were never allowed to rebuild their world but frozen in a permanent war).
The Great Reset is an idiot’s nirvana based on a hodgepodge of half-baked technology, a poor grasp of economics and cultism.
Half-baked technology: The tech as we know it cannot build the world they propose — or their transhuman dream of The Singularity. Either they have better technology we don’t know about (as Catherine Austin Fitts argues) — or the Great Reset is window dressing for a more banal form of totalitarianism.
Poor grasp of economics: It’s not a question of collectivism vs libertarianism. What the central banks proposed at Jackson Hole in 2018 is not a new economic system. It was a plan to hide their theft of trillions in public assets — and to ensure the people can never get them back. Their mathematical modeling is entirely divorced form the behavioural origins of economics and exists to serve financial capitalism from which their power derives. It is unclear how they’ll generate their wealth under the Great Reset, except through neo-feudalist rent extraction.
Cultism: technocracy has been linked to cults ever since Jack Parsons and L Ron Hubbard spilt the seed of NASA. At the other end of the U.S. the disciples of the Omnipotent Oom like the Vanderbilt-Harrimans worked closely with the newly-arrived adherents of the Frankfurt ‘New’ School — a stone’s throw from today’s NXIVM-Bronfmans. Elon Musk’s grandfather Joshua Haldeman, a founder of Technocracy, was more a New Ager than a religious cultist but the government still chased him out of Canada accusing his movement of fascist tendencies.
You mention the central bankers at Jackson Hole in 2018. This is absolute proof that, if there is a “God,” it is a dastardly being for sure. Otherwise, Yellowstone Super Volcano would have blown just as they were sitting down at the conference table.
Referring to it as totalitarianism is most accurate and a better term for unifying the opposition across the political spectrum.
Oh for fuck’s sake:

COVID parties where the young are trying to catch the virus to make themselves immune! I mean – Is this REALLY happening? Or is it a total fucking wind up? Or maybe it’s a sinister new meme to justify sending the troops in to machine gun those parties to “ensure safety”?
I would dearly like to think the young wouldn’t give a fuck about any of this. Virus or no virus – yeah whatever.
I have no doubt it will happen. It was how mums got immunity for the their kids before vaccines. If one kid had one of the diseases, the other mums brought their kids over to catch it and develop immunity. They are called pox parties.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pox_party
I even remember them from my own childhood.
To the best of my recollection, however, we didn’t have diphtheria, scarlet fever, whooping cough, polio, or smallpox parties – people didn’t generally want to run the risk of their kids actually dying, being disfigured, or being confined to a wheelchair for life…
As a result, I seem to have ended up rather like George Carlin:
“I have a healthy immune system – and it gets lots of practice…”
Providing actual statistics on the percentage of young people catching any kind of sickness at all from such parties would be a rather brilliant endeavour.
We should keep an eye on this.
We saw what happened when thousands of old people were locked on a cruise ship together for weeks, only 17% ever got Covid. A very important number I suspect, immunity from similar virus, like a common cold may be helping prevent any infection. Who knows, the scientist don’t want to find out.
These viruses keep running and jumping when you try to catch them, nasty stubborn little intruders as they are, I don’t know anyone who succeeded with that. Young idealistic people always try to realize the impossible.
I gave up……….. reading these articles is like wading though thick treacle, but there is no reward at the end of it, we are alway left confused and none the wiser, which I think is the intension. How about we agree most American writers don’t understand their own country, let alone what is going on, on the other side of the planet, in China. And why would anyone use the word ‘financialization’.
The deep state don’t leave much to chance, they always win, because losing is not an option, its the way the CIA operate, so they often have two operations going at one time, in their democracy it is the Republican party and the Democratic party. The democrats serve the neoliberal military industrial complex as well as the Republican party. In the same way they have the Covid scam and the Covid opposition running at the same time. The deep state is happy with either victory.
The Covid scam continues to destroy small business, independent jobs and the independent economy, forcing us to Corporate monopolies and restricting freedoms in a growing fascism of control.
Alternatively you have the Covid opposition, at least they have truth on their side. Well…the CIA often have truth on their side, when they manage coups around the world, whether it be exposing sexual indiscretion, or corruption, when a leader is unsympathetic to US Corporations. Failing that, unable to entrap a leader into indiscretion, they will make something up, as they did in Brazil.
There is no moderate Covid opposition, it is not allowed in the media. The left has been captured and enticed into believing that Covid hand-outs, are the route to a socialist utopia via the back door. It looked so promising, the government would finally be imposing justice on the economy, they thought. Only now, are they realising that it is simply a ‘bait and switch’ operation and subsidies are a way to of slowly strangling the independent economy and handing it over to chains and US monopolies.
The Covid opposition funnel us into the hands of the CIA’s best friends, the far-right and their shills, who are given increased visibility and credibility through ‘cancel culture’ whipped up by their own right-wing media, who describe it as a left-wing crime whilst simultaneously promoting it. Killing two birds with one stone.
There are two routes to US Corporate control under the merchants of Empire, either via the Covid scam and its lies or via the ‘Covid opposite’ and irts truth, which is intended to empower, the biggest champions of US Corporate power, the far-right. All exits are covered as always.
Please define ‘far-right’
I hate labels like that too, but I suppose it’s really fair enough to describe the shadowy ghouls setting the entire human race at risk as “far right”.
It’s certainly “far” something…
I’m so far right, I’m far left now
Go and look it up.
The MSM is far-right? You are not right in the head.
US media is owned by 6 large corporations, with their fingers in the military industrial complex. They are not known for their love of universal healthcare, free education, workers rights and Union representation.
I really don’t understand why you are here, you are way out of your depth.
Re: the Left’s curious acquiescence and/or outright cheerleading for the fear porn combined with their obvious assumption that some kind of socialism will emerge, it is a pertinent question if their eagerness for the latter influences their enthusiasm for the former I.e. they re so willing to believe in the virus because it will (supposedly) usher in the revolution. And maybe many of them have started to cotton on to the NON deadliness of the virus but are still willing to bluff it.
About half of my family are what you would call cheerleaders for the fear porn. One of them is my sedentary, morbidly obese sister and her husband and two kids. They have been “sheltering in place” harder than almost anyone else I know, for the last 7 months. Her husband recently tested positive, and they all now have “symptoms.” The response from the other cheerleaders in my family? Not concern, not fear, not worry that these severely unhealthy loved ones will be harmed. Another sister of mine and my mom’s responses were a shrug and “ironic that they got it, out of all of us.” Nobody is concerned, but neither are they willing to admit that the mitigating measures are ineffective and the fear a sham…
On a corollary note: I’m just curious– morbidly curious, perhaps 😉 — but am I right to guess that your sister and her husband are just, er, sick about “coming down” with the alleged Megadeath Virus of Doom (MVD)?
I may be wrong, but I ask because I think MVD True Believers are susceptible to “battered-partner syndrome” logic.
That is, leaving aside all of the inconvenient questions and truths we skeptics harbor about whether the MVD is real in the first place, etc., I would be surprised if people in this scenario drew the conclusion that all of their “precautions”, i.e. the officially-mandated “best practices”, were obviously useless and bogus.
Instead, my guess is that, like battered partners, they would instead blame themselves for not doing a good enough job with their would-be precautions. If I’m right, I further assume that as they recover from their alleged symptoms– assuming they don’t prove psychosomatically fatal– they will double down on their vigilance.
I would be delighted to learn that my guess, or suspicion, is wrong, and that the incongruous result of “catching” the Phantom Menace they’ve tried so hard to fend off pulled their collective heads out of the MVD narrative sand.
I don’t know yet what their thoughts are regarding whether they didn’t shelter hard enough or if they’ll acknowledge that they’ve wasted most of the year. My brother in law is apparently more ill now, he got an albuterol inhaler from the doctor and she says they are monitoring his oxygen at home. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
“That is, leaving aside all of the inconvenient questions and truths we skeptics harbor about whether the MVD is real in the first place, etc.”
I hadn’t formed a full opinion on this yet. I was thinking either “it’s a construct” or “it exists but is being overblown” but knowing that my brother in law is more ill, I’m not sure what to make of it. Jeremy Hammond from Children’s Health Defense recently sent a newsletter claiming it is real indeed. I’m usually a fan of his work and don’t feel scientifically up to the task of determining whether he is right about the existence of covid.
He states:
Again, I don’t feel sufficiently well versed in these topics to form an opinion either way yet. I’m just sharing what else I’ve read on this.
Now they serve the medical-industrial complex as well.
I’ve read arguments over whether the rapidly encroaching prison world should be described as fascist or communist. Well I would say there is an increasing collectivization in that the middle class independent producers are clearly being obliterated by the lockdown. Although, even pre-lockdown, there was an increasing monopolisation of what we might quaintly refer to as “the market place”.
And it might be said that a “communist” (global) model is being organised rather than a fascist (nationalist) one.
And maybe that’s why the Left have either been silent or are urging the change on. But there is an enormous anomaly here I.e. that this “communist revolution” is not coming from the masses but from the top – a very odd matter!
I think the commies are cheering the “end of capitalism” simply because they don’t realize that it’s (neo)feudalism taking its place, not socialism/communism.
As a Leftie myself, I might even have been sympathetic to a restructuring but with THIS restructuring there are two problems: first the aforementioned anomaly that it’s the bosses who are arranging it and second, I’d have to keep up the pretense that this virus is just SO deadly and there’s no way I could do that.
Aye; accept the bosses’ narrative, you get the bosses’ solution. Why don’t they seem to understand this?
My reply to Kevin below is also meant for you.
What passes for the left has to be incredibly stupid to believe that a restructuring orchestrated by billionaires associated with the World Economic Forum would bring about a better world for the majority. In any case, describing it as (neo)totalitarian and (neo)feudal would be better for unifying the opposition than the fascist /communist dichotomy.
I have been in communication with Philip Roddis over on his blog Steel City Scribblings. He is someone who I would describe as being one of the mainstream Left although he has been big enough to republish skeptical articles – usually via OffG. I think he is a thoroughly decent guy but I have gotten into disagreements with him over COVID, once rather acrimoniously although we put that behind us. Nevertheless, he made a comment on a recent post about “the big one we’ve been waiting for”. He’s referred to this before and I didn’t really pick up on it. But this time I did. Here he referred to “the Big One; the killer pandemic epidemiologists have been telling us since SARS 2003 is a matter of when not if.”
I thought that was extremely revealing. Now even without positing a “conspiracy” on the part of the epidemiologists, it is obvious that many on the Left (as well as the epidemiologists) have been expecting something like this virus. Note that “when not if”. And here lies the whole problem. It’s one thing to muse on the supposed extreme likeliness and even posit the “inevitability” of a devastating virus. It’s something else to take such musing as “proof” of the deadliness of any specific virus. In short there is a certain “priming” of expectations going on here – even if it is unconscious. And, let’s face it, there is more than a hint of wishful thinking going on here.
But the thing that really got to me was Philip’s blasé assumption that I would just pick up on his meaning and that’s when it struck me that he and I were speaking from two completely different perspectives. And it also struck me that the mainstream Left were generally living in a completely different conceptual world from the one I was living in. I didn’t bother to comment on his blog since I didn’t think there was any point in continuing to do so.
But at least Philip remained civil and relatively open. There were a couple of commenters who I won’t even bother naming who were so adept at regurgitating mainstream Leftist boiler plate that I came to suspect they were not people at all but software packages.
Nationalist=fascist? Did I read that right?
Can you not see that there is no left -or right for that matter- and that both parties have been taken over by globalist ideology.
It seems to me that in the not too distant future – if their takeover is successful – there will be no free enterprise. Everyone will work for the state. There will be no such things as sporting events, social gatherings, parks, going to the beach, eating out etc. Just work and existence in some permanently locked down world – which, over time will come to be normal as people are born into it.
Naturally this lifestyle will not apply to the “elite” or “eloi”.
The ideology of fascism has always stressed national identity, that of communism stressed the international angle.
Richard questions everything with zero understanding of anything. He is very annoying.
Speaking of the Eloi, HG Wells’s Time Machine can be read as a parody of progressivism. And in two ways: first, it’s Marx inverted where it’s the Morlock “proletarians” who eat the Eloi “aristocracy” and second, the whole of evolution goes into reverse as the time traveller goes forward to the end of the world. .
Social ism distancing.
You know the UK and the US have far-right governments in place, who implemented Social distancing?
Exactly. See my comment above (or below, depending on how you organise) re: the odd ruling class “communism” being rolled out.
Corporate ownership of the state’s wealth is not communism it is fascism.
Hence my scare quotes.
You know the CCP has a lot of trolls around that want to see capitalism fall and bring in a communist socialist utopia for all or more to the truth just themselves.
Maybe the author and supporters can leave and go to China or Venezuela?
Corporate ownership of the state’s wealth is not communism, it is fascism.
It’s not too easy to leave, or enter, anywhere these days.
don’t be so silly!! remember voting for the other party was endorsing socialism and communism, that’s what they said. they would have you queuing in the streets LOL
remember trump is at war with the deep state bullshit reality check they never had it so good
concentration energy on him whilst they continue doing what they do.
.
make america GREAT and The GREAT Reset
happened under his pretend watch like BOjonas, the i love establishment ritual was at it highest never has the love for a slavemaster been so endorsed. look at youtube with it whores of the establishment selling political utopia
Got to be a milkshake of the highest order to believe in politics especially after BS19
the believers are always the first to get sacrificed remember that
wanna wake the fuck up
Ame, they’re too thick in the skull. WWG1WGA on the Trump train into the fema camps. Americans are some of the dumbest people on the planet.
One world government ? Fine. Now let’s have a one world tax system . We can start with Bezos, Gates and their chums. I think a fair rate for them should be 95%. All revenues to be distributed to the relief of the economic vandalism they have perpetrated .
So the USA’s generals, elite with the biggest military in the world are going to simply do what a Swiss banker tells them to do….really….. Why? I think you are just pushing the stupid ‘Jewish international conspiracy’. The world does not work like that.
I find it hilarious that you think US military generals are an independently powerful force running the world. They may make decisions related to military strategy but when it comes to the bigger picture they are order takers.
You also seem to be having an argument with yourself regarding the “Jewish conspiracy” claim. Most of those who make the case for the existence of a global ruling class focus on the transnational capitalist class or organizations like Bilderberg or the World Economic Forum. They are not obsessed with Jews.
Try and find a good psychiatrist .
Have you heard of American Hegemony? ……..Thought not.
Yes, and your point is ?
”Digital Christmas” = Amazon Christmas.
Oh how they are laughing at us.
And it could also be described as the first “Matrix” Christmas. Or even as the first Christmas within the Matrix.
North of the border, mebbe wee Nicola will give them a Dominatrix Christmas. Or make that Hogmanay.
Please don’t put images like that in my head!!
I really enjoyed my daily dose of Anti Covid measures reporting from TalkRadio. But I was braced this time for my Trojan horse, dose of far-right, propaganda hidden in, or tagged onto the message of common sense. They always come together.
The far-right ‘medicine’ always comes with the ‘sugar’ of common sense. They then went on to describe the recent false-flag attack in France as ‘cancel culture’, thats right Islamic cancel culture. Cancel culture of course is being defined as only left wing, despite the fact that the entire media are at war with the left and will give it no voice at all.
So now even the islamic ‘terrorist’ are socialists. So the link between socialism and terrorism is being roughly sketched out for the future criminalisation. It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic.
You’ve got it bass ackwards there chap.
It is not uncommon for a shop to take 30-50% its entire years income during the short Christmas period. The rewards to Amazon of shutting down the entire retail sector over christmas in the UK are VAST. It will finally destroy the independent UK retail sector and hand it over to Amazon.
Note, the government are still not demanding tax from Amazon on billions & billions of pounds of profit, so they are already handing over our country to them, Covid is just an acceleration. These trators are destroying their own country, knowingly.
I’ve said from the start (April post on this site) that Amazon is being prepared as some kind of universalniy magazin, or государственный универсальный магазин: state department store.
The Agenda 2021/2030 version would of course not have a physical store because that would require people to move, thus carbon emissions. The population will be herded into smart cities where delivery to a depot would replicate the logistical efficiency of the large grocers.
The clues are in the origins of Amazon, the history of Jeffrey Preston Jorgenson-Gise who goes by the name of Bezos. Other clues are in the preferential treatment given to Amazon and its Chinese manufacturers by the U.S. Post Office. And the effortless integration of Amazon into the state-originated Internet platforms. Finally, the state’s complicity in the development of monopoly.
Living in northern Italy, the only delivery service that functions is funnily enough, Amazon. Ordinary mail is horrendously slow and ordering anything from overseas that isn’t from Amazon has huge custom charges. I hate the company but what other options exist?!
‘Company Store’ would be more appropriate. There is no state control as part of this. Corporate ownership of the state’s wealth is not communism it is fascism.
You can also throw Uber and Deliveroo into the takeover pot.
Not happy with the money they’ve made elswhere, they want everything.
This is nothing more than a newer model of lower than minimum wage slavery, as long as suckers entertain them it will remain this way.
Uuuuuuh…..yeah….OK….
Bout time for you guys to get back to The Guardian, don’t you think? I don’t know if you’ve been following things over at your old alma mater but I think you’ll find that they’ve made a lot of progress in the few years you’ve been away in the direction of delusional babbling about “people of colour being slaughtered in the streets by racist white police”, lickspittle apologetics for the terrifying dehumanizing dictatorship of the CCP etc. I can imagine Jonathan Freedland, Richard Wolfe, Marina Hyde and all the other Goebbelses and Goebbelsesses of “brave, progressive thinking” pulling Mr Hamada here, along with whichever of you gave the green light to publishing this farrago of lies and misdirection, to their heaving breasts and ordering up a fatted calf to celebrate the return of the prodigal gender-fluids.
One might be tempted, I suppose, for a moment to rejoice oneself on finding out that there are, on the evidence of this article, a scattered two or three among the “Fuck AmeriKKKa” Berniebros roaming the streets of Seattle and Portland with their bullhorns and bloody bikelocks who don’t cling as passionately and fetishistically to their masks as they do to their Palestinian keffiyehs. (Although, in fact, a little research reveals that Mr Hamada’s natural habitat is more the studios and seminar halls of tranquil, well-funded art colleges – a detail which does not, sadly, render him a very rare sort of amphibian: all too many people at the heads of mobs rushing to pummel people so unrepentantly racist and white supremacist as to merit the denomination “proud American” being, like him, exquisitely perceptive – and correspondingly generously pecuniarily rewarded – players in the field of high culture and higher education by day and foot-stomping, slogan-screeching paramilitary thugs only by night.) But on a moment’s reflection, I find myself coming to the conclusion that I’d much prefer it if the BLM and Antifa “wokesters” all cleaved closely and rigorously to their (conscious or unconscious) party line and continued to regularly alternate exhortations to “kill sum a dem crackers” with barely less threateningly barked demands to “wear your fucking mask! dis raciss not wearin hi’ mask!!” It’s been one of the very, very few sights apt to soothe the despairing human heart a little as our societies swiftly succumb to the new form of power that Mr Hamada appears pathetically incapable of discerning to be different from, and a thousand times more terrible than, the 19th-century fairy tales of “capitalists” in top hats smoking fat cigars that he has imbibed from the tedious tracts of Mr “Spartacus Risingsun” or whichever other risibly pseudonomized disciple of Mr Chomsky he has imbibed his ideas from: this sight of the “Fuck AmeriKKKa” street-thugs gathering into their intimidating “search-and-destroy” formations muzzled to a man and finally looking, therefore, to all the world like what they really are: the snarling, house-broken guard-dogs of the new and arcane power that one will never read about in Chomsky or “Spartacus Risingsun”.
But even if it were somehow a boon and a benefit for those of us resisting the actual inhuman tyranny that has, this last nine months, been nakedly and incredibly rapidly imposed on us to have a few million people of Mr Hamada’s ilk “come over to our side” at least on the issue of the COVID psy op (on the delusional misunderstanding that this is a psy op run by “the capitalist system”) and oppose masks, anything positive such “left-wing anti-maskers” could contribute would surely be more than outweighed if they insisted – as there can be no doubt people like Mr Hanada would insist – in dragging along with them such absurd and poisonous baggage as
“Such a core value bursts out in the open when we see white people screaming “I’m white!” as they get beaten up by police officers.”
If this sort of thing – which has never occurred anywhere in the world under any circumstances, at least in the past hundred years – is genuinely what you “see”, Mr Hanada, or have persuaded yourself you “see”, then you really should go the whole hog in the way of guzzling down narratives of voluntary self-enslavement under the guise of narratives of liberation and self-empowerment and start to “see” the hecatombs of healthy 20-year-olds dropping dead in the street from COVID 19 that we are told “leave us no choice” but to impose martial law and war-communist principles of total state control of everything from Minsk to Seattle.
“on the delusional misunderstanding that this is a psy op run by “the capitalist system””
And what other system have we been living under?
We don’t know. I am not a student of this particular tranche of the history of ideas but I think I am probably right in saying that people did not know they were living under “capitalism” – in just that precise Marxian definition of the notion that I feel has not been applicable to the power structures that bestraddle and mould our world for at least the last sixty or seventy years – for, say, the first two or three centuries that they were living under it. When did people first begin to speak of a “capitalist system”? Around the time of Adam Smith? It had certainly been virulently “there” for centuries already by this time. Similarly, in 2020 we have been living at least for many decades in a world where “money” and “profit” are really no longer very significant levers of power at all. Power is exerted through other channels: channels that have barely been theorized or, by many, even perceived yet. Conceptualization of whatever it is we live in – and of the structures of power by which it maintains itself and expands – has begun perhaps, very tentatively and incipiently. In Foucault, perhaps – though in his work too it is still obscured and confused by the residual Marxist delusions that make such a dog’s dinner of Mr Hamada’s article. But we are still a very, very long way from having our Marx, or even our Adam Smith.
It’s significant that you should talk about the time of “no capitalism” as the “last sixty or seventy years”. That is the time of our safe and snug little bubble where for us, the capitalist system was very attractive indeed because the Western world – centring on America – was a booming economy for at least the first few decades. So it was possible for the ruling class to give out bigger crumbs than they usually did. Also, the existence of powerful socialist groups – and two successful revolutions elsewhere – meant that the rulers were sufficiently nervous to grant concessions. We also owed much of our wealth increasingly to exploitation of overseas communities. All of this is capitalism – but, for us, “nice” capitalism. You may say that, globally speaking, we in the West were the ruling class.
But all that is changing rapidly now. To put it bluntly: we’re fucked! Hence the ruling class resorting to extreme restructuring.
A most perceptive comment. Best I’ve seen here. A pretty good approach to the understanding of the un-named, undescribed power
You tentatively point to here can be found in book “Empire” by kevkrugh. Highly recommended for the description you seek.
The E.U. is a globalist embryonic World Government project. The U.K. has been under it’s thumb (or is it knee) for fifty years now. Maybe you hadn’t noticed…
I suppose you are leaving out the ZioJew foundation of the EU project, the UK regardless of EU membership being under their thumb, as well as the rest of the Western world, as well as who knows Russia. They just have some internal dealings with each other.
Geopolitics, history, economics and diplomacy are complex and difficult subjects to unravel, it takes years to get a good understanding. You choose to believe in fantasies and childish illusions to understand a complex world, just don’t don’t expect adults to take you seriously.
noise emitted by crackers
And lots of it.
Wut?
All that, and hardly a full stop…?
Thank you for being so easy to ignore.
There is no black and white line where imperialism is concerned.
The Biden-Bank of China investment vehicle, BHR Partners (Bohai-Rosemont Seneca) valued at up to $6.5 billion (as stated by Michael Lin, which would value Hunter Biden’s stake at $50 million) does not knit sweaters for homeless children.
“In November, 2016, BHR agreed to purchase Lundin Mining Corp’s minority stake in African copper mine Tenke Fungurume Mining S.A. for $1.14 billion in cash. Lundin held a 30% interest in TF Holdings, a holding company, and an effective 24% stake in the mining operation. Freeport-McMoRan Inc. currently owns the remaining 70% stake in TF Holdings (an effective 56% of the mine), but is in the process of selling its stake to China Molybdenum Co. for a reported $2.65 billion. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the Tenke mine is located, owns the remaining 20% of the mine. According to Oxfam, “the Government of DRC knew nothing about [transaction] until after it happened.” — Wiki

Good ol’ Klaus and his WEF mates want the death of neo-liberalism. Look, they’re telling you –

“Today’s consumers do not want more and better goods and services for a reasonable price. Rather, they increasingly expect companies to contribute to social welfare and the common good”.
Everyone who wants less and worse goods at unreasonable prices is going to be happy. It’s for the common good, you know.
The assassination of JFK brought about a State marketing dream. Those who apposed State orthodoxy would be in a Religion of the Conspiracy Theorists.
It was a masterstroke, for it placed a massive checkbox for those possibly considering taking at look at what the kerfuffle was all about, to consider whether they were up to the task of being with being feather and tanned.
It also had another effect, even more pernicious. With 9/11 and 7/7 it mired the environment with people on both sides of the argument…..arguing. Lost in all this was the biggest salient point.
People on both sides, shared a comminality and it should have primarily been the driving force, a shared battle, because they could then and now have been related to someone who died on those days.
First and foremost, everyone should have supported the families and friends of those seeking justice and answers from their respective governments.
I believe, in 2005 7/7, one month prior to 7/7 the Inquiries Act got changed and when that happend You, me and everyone irrespective of their view on the subject got screwed. If it ever becomes your turn to feel the effects of a terrrorist attack, know that we somewhat blew it back in 2005 and have been paying the price ever since.
From the Beeb site:

“The idea of a normal Christmas is a “fiction” and Scots should prepare for digital celebrations, national clinical director Jason Leitch has said.”
Unusually draconian way of “banishing reality”. But I suppose it fits with the acceleration towards this new Matrix world.
Now the necessary silver lining bit:
“The government has insisted that the latest Covid-19 restrictions are having an impact on the spread of the virus.”
But I think we can rest assured it won’t be TOO much of an impact. Certainly not in time to save Christmas. And what do you know? I was right:
“But Prof Leitch told BBC Scotland there was “absolutely no question” of a “normal” Christmas being allowed.”
“being allowed”? Looks like we’re back at home with Mommy and Daddy.
“Opposition politicians said the public would be “devastated” by the news and called for more details.”
Way to go, opposition!
But Nicola doesn’t go in for that namby pamby stuff:
“First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the government was making “really tough” decisions and would not “tell people what they want to hear to make it easier in the here and now”.”
Speaking of which, listen up you English pussies: We rugged Scots are gonna have a FIVE tier system!
And it ain’t just Santa:
“The government will publish guidance this weekend about how families should celebrate Halloween…”
Well it seems we are in for a complete overhaul of …well everything. But don’t worry. Our bold opposition are going to get jolly cross … about seeking greater clarity on the prison conditions!
The fact remains what it’s been since day one, the governments can’t force the people to do any of this.
More than with any prior tyrannical initiative, the terror-lockdown assault which uses “covid” as a pretext depends upon the voluntary obedience of the people.
Just like with so many other groups that voluntarily dissolved themselves for no reason, in many or most cases permanently, and so many other social events those who previously enjoyed were canceled for no reason, so if the people don’t want to have a real Christmas they won’t have it. And if they do want to have it they will.
Exactly, Russ. This would be over in a heartbeat if people just decided not to play along with it. What would the PTB do, arrest everyone?
The fact that people are so obedient is doing my nut in.
Mine too Gwyn. I’m getting extremely sick of this and starting to feel real hatred for those who still comply. I can’t view them as human, they’ve so relentlessly unhumanized themselves right down to wanting to obliterate their own faces. Why don’t they just get acid disfigurement treatments on their faces and be done with it and leave we the living to get on with human life.
The really worrying thing is, if they are capable of complying with all this, based on a possibly mythical cold virus and dodgy numbers, what with grassing up neighbours and so on, what else would they be capable of complying with?
I feel like shouting at people!
(Lockdown’s just begun here. I probably won’t get many opportunities to do so. Might be a good thing, might not…).
Totally divorced from reality these politicians, living in their well paid securely pensioned bubble walk blindly into this nightmare where they devise measures to destroy any forms of normal behaviour with totalitarian “laws” which they gleefully produce in ever increasing amounts. The world death % from /with Covid-19 is 0.014% yet they act as if it is 50% or more. The “keeping you safe” mantra is the banner they hide behind and is their raison d’etre for more of the same manifest stupidity which is beginning to border on the insane. Their “guidance ” is based on fear and their behaviour is something none of us should tolerate .
fuck Christmas and the dead pseudo-culture around it.
Time to stop stuffing yourswelves, dear Brits. fasting and NOT drinking alcohol is actually quite good for you and will sharpen your mind which has been dumbed down by dairy products and alcohol.
Not having anything to eat does wonders for your constitution and your ethical backbone…
I see you’re already getting into the spirit.
Shorter version: “Bah! Humbug!” 😉
“God bless us, Every one!”
In another region of the world I have been observing news reports of citizens anxiously awaiting the decision of bureaucrat-managed politicians to rule whether or not to ‘allow’ Halloween, the latest iteration of which is that Halloween will possibly be ‘celebrated’ by not allowing children to go door-to-door in the defined ‘hot spots’, i.e. locking them up, but that they should stay home, carve pumpkins, and tell scary stories (about local politicians?). In other defined not-hot zones they may visit door-to-door but must line up six feet apart and wear masks (presumably under their costume masks), with the treats doled out by mask-wearing residents using tongs and washing their hands frequently. ‘Frequently’ is not defined, but I’m sure it will be, in a full-page missive.
The simple fact that children are at virtually zero risk of harm or transmission is obviously not mentioned, but a warning has been issued by the authorities to beware of ‘fake’ news or scientific data and epidemiological analysis that informs us of this.
So the stench of psy-op gas lighting is heavy in the air. Are they deliberately provoking riots? Perhaps to give them an excuse to shoot people?
I thought this virus lark was …well a lark from day 1. And I have some trouble believing that anyone on the planet takes it seriously. Apart of course from the po-faced puritanical Left jacking their way to self flagellated ecstasy. Speaking of which I think I have reached saturation point with the WSWS. They had a typically ludicrous article today that I was going to mock and then just lost interest. It’s becoming boring now.
Dressing up as the ‘virus’ would make a good halloween costume.
I have no doubt that it will happen – and expect the howls of outrage from the ever-so-sensitive sanctimonious media moralists who will of course be anxious to corral the public away from any disrespect or satirical view of the great god COVID. (“Mocking those poor unfortunates who died so horribly – video supplied on request)”
I must admit, I would not have minded if the Covid-19 farce had managed to ensure the demise of Halloween; at least the awful commercialised version that’s been foisted on us in the last 10-20 years. Rather that than do away with Christmas, anyway.
I have a soft spot for Halloween ’cause I’ve always loved spooky stuff. But I admit that I have never tricked and treated and avoid costumes like the plague. Fun fact (as Sheldon Cooper would have said) :- Halloween means “All Hallow’s Eve” i.e. the eve of All Saints’ Day. All the demons come out the night before the saints. But let’s face it: nobody ever cared about the saints but everyone loves a demon!
I don’t mind the really traditional stuff. (So long as it doesn’t involve having to buy plastic garbage). My mother tells me about them doing apple bobbing etc, when they were kids; that would be in the ’20s and ’30s. She’d never heard of Trick or Treating, and I only knew it from the (wonderful) Schulz “Peanuts” cartoons, but I didn’t really know what it was. We didn’t do it, and no one I knew did it. I think it’s only come here (England) in say, the last 30 years or less (but I’m open to correction of course).
From a quick-ish look at Wikipedia, it seems that what is now called trick-or-treating may have originally been an Irish and Scottish custom (“guising”) (and not so much an English one) and became established in the USA after a large influx of Scottish and Irish immigration.
Politicians love those “really tough decisions” better than sex. Or possibly during sex.
In the Welsh lockdown supermarkets may not sell “non-essential” goods. Apparently clothes and hardware are “non-essential”. Meanwhile, off-licences can stay open. Who needs warm clothes or saucepans when they have extra-strong liquid soma?
Isn’t it amazing how “the virus” can’t cling to Amazon packaging? Perhaps we should all wrap ourselves in that!
unless it organic in the shop the milkshakes are drinking poison
Wondering if your favorite beer contains GMOs? How about anti-freeze, or MSG? These are just a few of the additives in beer, wine, and other alcoholic products, which currently are not required to be labeled. This could all change soon, though, due to state pressure regarding GMO labeling laws that were recently brought to light.
The Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) was given jurisdiction over alcohol labeling just after prohibition. Congress passed the Alcohol Administration Act of 1935, which gave the Department of the Treasury power. Alcohol was seen as a big tax revenue generator, much the same marijuana is being realized as a source of income for states today.
In the 1930s, there was no consideration for the biotech monopolies that would eventually infiltrate the food supply, including alcoholic beverages. Many beer and wines now contain GMO soy, high fructose corn syrup (a GMO product), GMO rice, and other genetically modified organisms.
Beer can contain:
The TTB says:
Currently, the Texas Alcohol and Trade Commission (TTB)labels on alcohol scarcely provide any information to consumers at all. They label only the proof (percent of alcohol), carbohydrates, and protein as well as calories. There is no mention of the carcinogenic additives and GMOs lurking in your favorite drink. Whether you enjoy a Corona, Miller Light, Fosters, or Guinness, it likely has ingredients in it you may never consider drinking.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer research organization, applauded one recent petition from Food Babe which pressured some beer makers to post all ingredients online. the CSPI notes in a statement that it petitioned and then sued the U.S. government to reveal beer ingredients three decades ago.

NONE of the laws have changed since for GMO’s they just got worse and now CV is here to stay they dont even have to label the food
People voted for Brexit so, I assume they wanted GMO’s, they were told they would be forced to adopt GMO’s under US trade deals. So Enjoy!
they will enjoy not being able to just grab a ₤30 flight to Malaga even more. mwa ha ha ha hahahaha!

Most GMO’s are banned in the EU, which is one of the reasons the US is at war with them.
Stick to real ale.
You may need “fact checking” . Antifreeze is not propylene glycol, it is ethylene glycol. PG is nowhere near as poisonous otherwise there would be a lot of dead people by now, seeing as it is the primary component of e-liquids…
OK that good PG is nowhere near as poisonous so it ok to put in food then WTF
propylene glycol. is also in all the dog shit poison food which is a slow killer
happy vaping
Or the wheelie bins !
The picture shows a street in Britain? Well, I live in a German city. Next door there is a very similar text sprayed on a wall, blaming unemployment, illness and lockdown on peoples’ ‘greed’. Signed by Antifa. I know a marketing campaign when I see one. Offering ‘socialism’ as a solution to totalitarian measures is beyond bizarre.
Why? If you have been thrown out of work in the midst of a rather dubious pandemic yet you see others cashing in, sometimes obscenely, socialism might exert more appeal. Certainly drawing anti-capitalist conclusions about the present is hardly irrational.
Anticapitalist solutions, sure. Like, e.g., building an ‘anticapitalist wall of protection’ aka the Berlin Wall.
Not a few East Germans wanted it put back up after a few years in United Germany,
The best article I have read at offG, by far.
“A louder opinion can simply get its way”.
Often, the oligarchy fails, and then resorts to force.
“.. to dominate by accumulation of wealth confronts fear of the unknown..”.
Usually, such a mono-maniac is too dumb to contemplate an abstraction, and is only compensating for his insecurities. E.g., consider the ongoing plunder of and obsession with gold, causing an “equal and opposite reaction” by way of a steady rise in national gold reserves, thus underming the petrodollar.
“..the empire is armed with the sheer might of.. military bases.. and.. WMDs”.
The author should reconsider this cliche. A gargantuan money-siphoning industry does not mean military power.
“..showered with bailouts, economic opportunities, political decisions to be rescued”
The most outrageous aspect of this affair is the secrecy. The thin pretence of parliamentary democracy may also soon vanish.
Environment/climate: China’s policy and response is already in place: to tax harmful materials, industries, products and services, regardless of origin. This was one motive for the covid caper, others being China’s impending eradication of poverty, intolerable interference in the usage of the dollar, the capitalist financial bubble, collapse of petroleum and general demand, collapse of imperial hegemony, further plunder, and depopulation.
“People get frustrated and demand an instant solution to the structural problem they are very much a part of.”

This is a very comprehensive look at the present situation. Raises great points all over the place including from the Asian perspective of past exploitation. One slight flaw is that this Japanese writer refers to it as more of a fascist power than what is a more likely one, bolshevik or Marxist style clampdowns. Don’t have the time to put up all the facts on it.
But it started in the Nixon administration of all presidents and where the west and Israel “opened up China” was a slogan and proceeded to give sweetheart trade deals and aid to explosively creat a monster, by design. Are you savvy? But hugely unknown is that China had the social credit scoring system in place and the contact tracing apps before the Wuhan virus, Bam it’s released on their watch. Western country’s and the rest of country’s were subsequently forced to deal with an attack, primarily of the psyop kind, That is no accident. People don’t seem to like to hear it but the zionists created the modern state of China and perhaps it is fair to say that it’s the blueprint for the NWO
